it’s kinda interesting… in the very first spider-man movie (sam raimi), norman osborn saw peter as his own son. you know, norman osborn, ceo of oscorp, perhaps one of the wealthiest characters to exist in the marvel universe.
then you’ll see people shitting on mcu peter for having a close, parental relationship with tony because he’s a billionaire… i mean, i know norman is a villain, but even still, i have NEVER seen a single person shit on the sam raimi films because peter is close to the osborns. i have not ever seen people calling tobey’s peter a “bootlicker” for hanging out with them. heck, i even see people shipping peter with harry.
i genuinely don’t get this fandom.
