If you're trying to stop an addiction or trying to do something, something I find helps me is to think my bias wouldn't want me to do this. I know it sounds crazy but out helps. My OCs as Fae
Amasa: Corrupted Seraph; A once Elite Angel with several pairs of wings and an Army of heavenly creatures to command. He was greatly respected, not quite the General, but close to it. One day, after a battle with Demons, he and a few others were tending to wounds over a pint. An argument broke out, leading to Amasa driving his sword through their middle. He was swiftly thrown from the clouds and onto the mortal plane. His wings ripping and tearing on his way down. He spends his days wandering the land, still slaying Demons that threaten humans.
AJ: Flesh; A normal looking Faery with long nails and sharp teeth that hide behind a bubbly smile. Her psyche is a little fragile as a negative emotion or the sight of blood with flip her bloodlust switch. She hides out in the deep wood in her cottage, only leaving to carry out her murderous tendencies. She tries to stick to mostly animals, deer and elk that roam free. But the call of human and Fae hearts pulls her to society. Wherein she forces people to walk with her home and will rip open their chest alive with a high pitched laugh. She can also control bodies by manipulating their blood.
Melanie: Wolf; A friendly and protective Shapeshifter that takes the form of a giant wolf. She has her friends as her pack, even though they're all different from her. She can change at will, but usually tries to keep it at night to prevent humans from hunting her. Very loyal and energetic, if she considers you a friend she will do anything for you. In her human form, she retains her canine eyes and pointed ears.
Minhyuk: Troll; A short, pale skinned creature that is tasked with guarding bridges. He keeps to himself and uses selfmade potions to ward off passerbyes rather than deal with them face to face. He's super shy and prefers just hiding under then bridge at all times. Igs hard getting him out into the open.
Samuel: Gorgon; With the torso of a man and the lower body that of a giant snake, he is one of the biggest Faeries alive. He spends most of his days slithering through the heavy wood and marsh lands, preying on humans that try to slip past his gaze. He likes to play with his food, wrapping his purple scaled body around their fleshy ones, squeezing until their eyes pop. He does have the ability for his gaze to turn on to stone, but doesn't bother. Why eat a rock when he can swallow someone alive?
Eunmi: Fire Nymph; Created at the base of an erupting volcano, this Red skinned Faery is the paramount of beauty. She is usually found by ashed remains of forests, she being the one that set it ablaze firstly. She plays around with men that try to catch her, sometimes flicking embers onto their feet or disappearing into sunlight. When not toying with men, she drinks with other nymphs, enjoying herself to the fullest.
Kyungah: Kelpie; A water horse that often takes form of a Human girl, she walks the shores of her beach, waiting for an unfortunate soul to be lured in to the waters. She drowns those who think they'll be lucky enough to court her. Still refusing to kill children, she will save them from her waters dark depth and carry them to shore, choosing to drown the neglectful parents instead. she passes her time watching sailors and mermaids mingle.
Lilith: Changeling; A Fae child, glamoured as a human at birth and swapped for their place. She has gone through her life knowing she is different but not truly how. All she knows is she has a weird allergy to iron and has a really vivid imagination.
Siren: Siren; A half woman, half bird that sits upon the rocky shores of islands and sings sailors to their deaths. She has green and blue feathered wings and yellow eyes. She talks to her Kelpie and Mermaid friends in between devouring the bodies of men. She takes time to herself every once in a while and ventures into the islands landscapes.
Charlie: Elven: An Old, Tall and Wise Elf that spends his days dping research into the world around him. He is Uncourted but will sell his findings to whoever pays the most and can actually benefit from his discovery. He is a famous Author for potions and Spells. He usually stays inside his cottage, mixing various ingredients together and record their reactions. Often enough, he goes out and studies fhe Fae around him. He's particularly fond of the murderous one that sneaks past his home.
Samuel sits in his room, picking away at the dried blood off his hands. His raven sat on its perch, tilting its head as he watched him. It squaked when he picked too hard and drew a bit of blood.
"Oh shut up."

"I said shut up. I'm fine."

"No I'm not getting a fucking bandaid, I'm fine. And no I'm not getting Mei either."

"Yeah i know you like her more. But sadly you're stuck with me."
My OCS getting a box from their past
AJ: The little box was no bigger than a notebook. She studied the package before carefully opening it. Nothing but a piece of paper sat inside. Lifting it up, she read the obituary of her parents. In bold letters at the bottom, it stated that the cause of death was still unknown. AJ quickly ripped the paper in half, throwing the box away.
Amasa: The shoe box like parcel had his code hastily written on it. He hid it under his bed for weeks before curiosity gnawed at him. Once he had the room to himself, he cut the tape and opened the box. Inside was the edited version of his contract to kill Ash, a bloody knife taped to a picture of Val. He blinked at the items, not sure who had them or why someone would send them to him. He took the picture of Val and held it close to him.
Charlie: The blue-painted box sat atop his bed like a late Christmas present. His head tilted as he approached it. He carefully opened the box like it was the most fragile thing in the world. Past the white packing paper sat a bunch of Pictures of TJ and Jay. A smile slowly crept into his face as he remembered it being him inside of TJ that brought that happiness to the hyperactive Scott.
Lilith: A small red box sat on waiting on Hobi’s bed. She would've thought it was for him if it wasn't for the hastily way her name was scribbled across the top. Sitting on the bed, she took it and carefully opens it. Inside was a wedding ring, shiny and new. She froze as she stared at it. Was this a new joke Adam was playing? Whatever it was, she wanted to part in it as she chucked the box at the wall.
Melanie: She thanked her mother as she took the box from her. She didn’t remember ordering anything, but her hope was that maybe it was a surprise present from Nikki. Mel happily undid the yellow ribbon holding it close. Her smile fell when she was greeted with a scroll tied together by a red string. Taking it out of the box, she unraveled it. The sight of red line-markings and X’s dotting over the weathered-looking map quickly brought tears to her eyes. she couldn't figure out who or how someone got the map in the first place.
Samuel: There wasn't much that Sam regretted in his life. He enjoyed killing people with his father and never saw anything wrong with it. To him, he was a demon, he was supposed to be evil. But when he opened the black box from wherever and pulled out a hospital tag dated years ahead and with Mei’s name on it, he didn't know how to react. He sat on his bed and stared at the small object, trying to figure out if this meant he was responsible for her death or if it’s just a warning she won't last forever like he will.
Minhyuk: The box was haphazardly tossed onto the chair covered in clean laundry. He really didn't care about it. There was nothing on it but his name and if being on the internet all day taught him anything it was to not open strange boxes. It wasn't until Jae was over and brought it up that he cared enough to cut it open. He dumped the contents onto the bed and blinked at the picture of Eunmi and him kissing that now sat on his sheets.
Eunmi: Coming back from an all-day date with Hanuel, she noticed the box at the door. She picked up and plopped down onto the couch. Looking over it she asked him if it was from him. When he said no, she shrugged and used her nails to rip it open. moving aside the packing paper, she saw an empty bottle of patron and a picture of her sitting on Minhyuk’s lap. holding said bottle and deep in a kiss with him. She quickly closed the box before Hanuel could see and quietly stared at the floor.
Kyungah: She waved goodbye to the other girls as she left the practice studio. Wiping the sweat from her face, she made her way to her car. Sitting on her windshield was a letterbox, under her wiper like a parking ticket. She looks around to see if anyone was around. When she saw no one, she carefully took it from its place. She quickly got into the car and locked the doors to be safe. Looking over the paper, it just had her name on it. Curiosity took over and she carefully opened it. Sliding the contents out onto her hands, her head tilted seeing the plane ticket that sat on her palm. It was one from her hometown to Gwangju. She sighed as the memories of that day flooded back.
Siren: Kicking off her shoes, she made her way to her room. Her original plan to change for meeting up with Dimitri was erased from her mind when she noticed the Chinese covered white box on her pillow. Reading it over, the word “Triad” was all over the box along with their symbol. She immediately wanted to throw it out and leave, her human side getting scared. pushing her back down, she opened the box and took out the letter they sent her father and a bag of white powder. She scoffed at the letter and shoved it back into the box. She took it outside and threw it into the bonfire the others had started. She looked over the bag and laughed a bit, putting it into her jacket pocket. Thanks for the free drugs, losers.
Valentine: She carried the box left on her doorstep into Amasa’s room. he was out with Ash again and she scoffed at the thought. Sitting on his bed, she opened the box covered in runes. She pulled out her old pistol and a deteriorating piece of paper. She read over the paper as she twirled the gun around her finger. A smirk etched across her face as she realized it was the original contract to kill Ash. she folded the paper and put it into her pocket. She admired her long lost weapon. Don’t give me ideas just because I’m alive again.

Backstory: He is the oldest child of AJ, and from a birth his mother hated him. She made it clear that he wasn't wanted and that his father had basically forced her to have him. He spent most of his childhood getting into fights and experimenting with his powers. he enounced his human side and full embraces being a creature from hell. He only cares about his oldest sister and the sweet girl that isnt scared to be around him. When Melanie came back to the past, he was pulled with her from his reign in the underworld. he was angry at first until he realized Mei was alive in this timeline. He still struggles with the romantic side of his relationship be hes relatively content here.

31 Days of Angst; Day #13 [Revenge]
Melanie didn't want to say anything to her older brother knowing how he was and how he would most likely handle the situation. Though, it would've been better to tell him rather than Samuel finding the only sibling he cared about sobbing on the couch. He had approached her and demanded to know what happened. When nothing but a muffled "nothing" came from her, he kneeled down and asked again, his tone becoming stern.
Samuel didn't need to have her repeat again. He simply nodded and disappeared, the floor singed from the flames where he had stood. Sam appeared in Hell, angrily pushing pass other demons as he forced his way to the one his sister described. His human features fading with each step, transforming himself into his full demon form. Red scales covered his skin, his eyes shifting into that of a snakes and a long spiked tail swishing angrily behind him. Sam finds his target laughing with a group of others. Who, upon seeing the furious Samuel charging towards them, scattered. Before he had the chance to get away, Samuel snatched him by the throat and slammed the demon into a nearby wall. Samuel dug his razor sharp claws into his neck. Smirking as the lesser demon struggled against him.
Samuel asked him if he thought it was funny to assault his sister, to which the demon weakly laughed responding that Melanie made it easy to be used in such a way. With that, Samuel shoved his other clawed hand into his chest, twisting and ripping out whatever he could get his hand on. Sam threw him onto the ground, pouncing on top of him and ripped the demon apart. Enjoying the feel of its blood splattering over his face and body.
