Daphne is the patroness of married people, all grace, kindness and elegance. AHHHHH y’all i ordered all 9 bridgerton books (the original 8 plus violet’s and the extra stories) and they came yesterday!! i’m so excited, i’ve already started reading the duke and i 😩 to be honest i really just want to read polin’s book, but i need to read in order 😭 i’m so obsessed with this show and i’ve heard the books are even better, so yes i did just drop $100, what about it?? i have a feeling it will be so worth it!!
I think some of the criticisms of Bridgerton come down to nostalgia as the the series progresses because too many people have forgotten we had an episode of S1 that revolved around Daphne not being able to properly choose a winning pig.
Every season has at least one “pig plot”, it’s inevitable.

The Bridgerton's had always been expected to end up in love matches, everyone from the Queen herself to Lady Whistledown believed this. Such a shame that everyone was wrong.
