Here are some redesigned Poison for Breakfast covers.

I saw your 667 introduction post and thought you wouldn’t be there for long, which I was wrong about, and I thought Rest Pleasantly was a super cool catchphrase, which I was right about.

#Qrow's is technically probability manipulation but hes just bad at it because he got nerfed with depression
via @thesassiestcolor on my Would You Rather post about Qrow's semblance. I hope you don't mind me stealing your tags because I have been thinking about them for days.
It's got me thinking about the difference between Qrow and Clover's semblances. They're both basically probability manipulation, so what makes Qrow's "bad" and Clover's "good"?
Imagine Qrow growing up in the tribe. His semblance is discovered and they call it "luck" because what else would you call it? One small thing goes wrong and it becomes a common inside joke. "Looks like our little bad luck charm strikes again."
Suddenly, it's no longer neutral. It's negative. Every bad thing that happens is his fault. He can't escape the accusations. No one can teach him how to control it. He's just cursed to be a bad omen forever. And it eats away at him.
But what about Clover? We don't know much about him other than he grew up in Atlas (at least in the main show, I haven't dug around in the books and what not).
What if he was better off? His semblance gets discovered and everyone loves him. One small thing goes right and everyone starts saying he's lucky, the golden boy, the guy to beat.
Suddenly, everything feels easier. He's on top of the world, things falling into place for him seamlessly.
They both carry these mentalities into adulthood. The bad luck charm and the lucky stud.
Anyway, this is my headcanon now. Thank you, thesassiestcolor.
I have two questions to ask:
First question: in this rwby au how would semblance and aura work in this story?
Is it like quirks like my hero academia: evolving little by little or more like destiny video game: super powers of a Demi god?
Second question: what semblance would you give cardin in this series?
(Sorry for the cardin questions: I truly want the guy to shine in series)
(No problem: I feel strongly for a lot of characters including him)
Well Aura, Semblance, Faunus Traits, etc are part of a metaphysical essence known as 'Lore' and given my AU is set in the Narnia multiverse, Lore is the Deep Magic of Remnant/Omnibus put in by the Author Allfather(aka The-Emperor-Beyond-The-Sea), but is less active due to Ragnarok
But Aura is tricky, but I basically describe it as the utilization of one's Soul/Life-force and works much like the show, and Semblance unlocks and manifests into a person by concentration of one's aura usually in a moment of some kind of passion.
Like for example, spoiler alert, my Roman enraged by the traitor-branding on Cinder's back by Salem, he points at her and calls her a "Wicked old Witch" and that moment, fireworks shoot out of his finger. In that moment of passion, Roman unlocks his semblance which is shooting fireworks from his hands, and he dubs it "Carnival"
Now when The Deep Magic of the world fully awakens, the semblance of the blessed, Roman being among them, becomes idealized, so becomes a lethal living-fireworks show.
As for Cardin's semblance, I've been reading other people's ideas and I was thinking making him something akin to Juggernaut, picking up momentum allow him to ram, stomp, and smash anything in his path, which works for his initial "Football-Knight" aesthetic I plan for him, when his semblance and aura becomes Idealized, he's a human freight-train
Curious about that: how durable are the warriors?
Depending on the individual: are some aura stronger than others?
Is it like a force shield or super durable training?
It all boils down to several factors
Their physical training
Their spiritual training, especially religion and mental health
And their personality
I am sooo sad that penny is gone but it just occurred to me that she is completely human therefore she should get a semblance which can be developed in a dire situation to save a life like Nora getting struck by lightning, so they could’ve done something where her semblance saves her like phasing through things or something so she could have been alive.
