Rwby volume 9 theory

Okay with the new episode out and more info about what went down with alex I have a theory
In the new episode jaune told the story of how alex fell with her brother lewis, they met up with the curios cat and jaune but after meeting the herbalist Alyx distrusted them, drugged Jaune and then she, Lewis and the curious cat left, the problem was that Alyx was the only one in the book so Jaune deduces that Lewis was sacrificed to the tree and went through “ascension” and the curious cat was involved
But I have a theory that despite what Jaune thinks the cat truly didn’t cause what happened to alyx and lewis cause he wasn’t there. They left Jaune then at some point as stated by the curious cat (I think he was honest hear) tricked and ditched him before they went to the tree by themselves but LEWIS was the one that got out and wrote the book in memory of his sister, Since he’s most likely named after the writer of Alice in wonderland.
I also bet the cat wanted to leave because he actually hates the ever after, he himself doesn’t like ascension and hates having to force others to go through with it so this was an out
Rwby fun fact
I just realized that the relic spirits, much like the kindom’s they reside in symbol, has something on them referencing their relic, Jinn has hoop earrings resembling her lamp and ambrosias has a center price on his chest that resembles his staff. It’s clear the Crown of choice’s spirit is going to be wearing a crown but what about destruction, what are they going to have to reference the sword, or will they just straight up have a sword.
RWBY Volume 9 Theory
Saw the Rwby volume 9 trailer and opening and you got to wonder, what happened to Jaune and Neo? Well in the trailer there was a women talking to Ruby about her hardships and loss (like Penny) and offering to take it all away. You know who else lost someone? Jaune. Him and Neo are the only odd ones out, but Jaune is the only one we see, other than posing, being actually shown. What I mean like moving or interacting or give any clue on him. The only scene close to that was a scene where we scene what looks to be Jaune but almost empty, like he’s been brainwashed. I have a theory that the women offered help in their loss, Like Jaune’s loss of Pyrrha and Penny (especially since he had to kill her himself), maybe taking all the pain away, but not just the pain, that’s the price, she takes everything, all that you are as a person leaving you an empty husk, what Jaune is in the trailer. This most likely leaves you to be a slave to do her bidding in return, so I definitely think maybe Juan’s will be a enemy they will have to fight, at least that’s my theory.
Obviously Neo’s the mad hatter, and I remember in the movie him being surrounded by his little merry crew, that’s what I think the shadows are, people that she knows that she recreated like roman, her parents, and so on, but people to do her bidding,

Okay so you know how mercury is an element and everything, I just had this idea that though mercury doesn’t have a lot of things things going on, I mean besides the whole assassin thing, a cool small character trait would be that he is great with chemicals, like he can easily make a bomb because of chemical reactions, Like think of that one scene in archer in the swamp with the crocodile, and that’s just with limited resources. At the very least he is good with poison, cause mercury poisoning, plus he’s an assassin so it fits more, the reason he has never brought it up is because as he would say “no one asked” but in reality he kept it a secret just to be annoying.
Just gotta say that my favorite part of the wishmaker episode besides the reveal is the whole jagged stone as a crocodile thing, especially after luka saves him from the water and they’re just laying there chillin
RWBY SHIP IDEA
This was random but I came across the idea of female mercury and I loved it so much, that led me to the idea of
Sun x Female Mercury
It’s a relationship where Sun reached out to Mercury kind of like Blake and though Mercury hated him at first but they became close, Mercury was like on of the guys then bam, they’re a couple, Sun is the one who falls first and not like a slight interest at first that grows like with Blake, I mean FAST AND HARD, like he sometimes gets stuttery around her, but when they do it’s kind of like being in love with a close best friend cause she would be okay with talking about the hottest chick with him
The second is Jaune x Female Mercury
I just like the idea of a the cute nice guy with bold tough bad girl though Mercury may seem like the flirt of the relationship in actuality Jaune came be quite brave and bold at times and she is the one flustered for the most part, they start with Jaune coincidentally helping her through some thing like something with her past or just being there to talk one night and after that they grew closer and closer until they fall in love then become a couple
I just thought of Adam x mercury
maybe mercury can get rid of Adam hate for human and have fun I feel they would be a chaotic couple who both would do things out of spite as well but mercury would do it for the fun of it and use spite or revenge as an excuse. The best way I can describe them is similar to Nora and Ren’s relationship but a bad troublemakers version

I am sooo sad that penny is gone but it just occurred to me that she is completely human therefore she should get a semblance which can be developed in a dire situation to save a life like Nora getting struck by lightning, so they could’ve done something where her semblance saves her like phasing through things or something so she could have been alive.
BNHA QUIRK IDEA
I’ve seen a few post about this but what about midoriya with a Gorgon quirk specifically medusa
he or she has snake hair and a pair of they’re own fangs that have a dangerous venom
even if the hair is cut if they snakes hades grow back
a huge snake body that can squeeze a person to death, as well as stealth out and flatten to slither on water and help with flying cause in some versions she has wing, it is also quick and stealthy
they can see heat signatures so they can see hagakure
they can somewhat see what their hair sees
not only that but they have a snake mouth that can stretch to eat food
they also has some patches of scales on they’re arm and they also have sharp claws
and let’s not forget the stone stare
for they’re hero costume I remember this scene from a game called medusa 2 the quest of Perseus where she had a sharp tale so i was thinking of armor for the tail
I also like the idea that her hair can move in whatever way they want so it can be transform into a bun or ponytail if wanted
and I read this comic where medusa’s hair can stretch and work kind of like that one girl with vine hair so maybe have that ass well
it can be this or just the body or hair, writer’s decision

BNHA quirk AU idea
I just remembered this movie called the kankerman, it’s about a boy whose dreams become reality, so imagine a world where izuku has a quirk like this and it is seen as extremely dangerous since if he dreams of certain things or has a nightmare, great damage could be done and he has no control over it. So he lives in a sort of solitude too keep away bad thoughts and feelings, until he was introduced to class 1-A for protection.
Quirk: Daydream
makes anything the user dreams real
only stays for as long as he is asleep
certain items stay along with the effects on things that were originally real
things can be created while awake if deprived of sleep

The back story of The Cat and Simon is so sad, but I'd like to think that later on Simon is in a dangerous position and The Cat sacrifices herself for him, that or he finds out that he was in danger when with her and she did that to protect him, maybe from the Amelia when she still worked for her and so his whole out look on nulls was wrong.

I saw the 5th episode and saw many theories and I just beleive the idea the Grace is going to be redeemed but possibly not Simon, there were a lot of points of him getting worse and refusing to change while Grace is getting better. Being around Hazel caused her number to go down and she seemed incredibly upset about what happened to Tuba like she actually cared for her in some way. And the big reveal with Hazel might finally be the line. Grace already cares for her and there might be point where she has to choose hazel.

Does anyone else weirdly think that Soren and Kasef would make a good couple? I mean I barely watched the scenes with Kasef but I did watch the scene where he and Soren interacted and though I realized it points to the sad truth of Soren wanting his father's attention, I thought it was cute for a second with how they contrast.

I understand at the end of season 3 Kasef basically died but I red someone that it was hinted that that fact that he became a sun elf empowered monster may make the arrow wounds not fatal, but even if he does live he may still hold a grudge or at least the sun elves with.
I would like to think this is where Kasef and Soren’s relationship grows, Soren shows Kasef the light and might even defend him against the sun elves.
This is completely a head-canon of mine but I would like some of it to happen, since I can’t find any FanFiction of the stuff so if anyone is reading this, please do that!!!

Notes: based off this and this post. If you’re looking for something fluffy or a happy ending this ain’t it. Also it’s techincally not jesslake but I’m a a jesslake stan so I say it’s jesslake but can be platonic lmao. One last thing— this takes place in the very last episode. It’s an alternate ending, if you will.
The exit had appeared-- their second, and hopefully last, chance to leave this train behind forever. Jesse gripped MT’s hand tighter than ever before; he was never going to leave her behind again.
“We’re leaving together,” he said, “for real this time!”
MT smiled briefly, nodding, and they took off running.
Jesse moved as fast as he could, even as MT stumbled behind him, struggling to keep up his pace. Yet, he hardly noticed her slightly lagging; he was too immersed in his thoughts, coming up with all the things he wanted to show her, thinking of all the places he wanted to take her to, imagining the happy ending they deserved.
They were hardly a foot away from their happy ending when MT yelped, and Jesse was abruptly jerked backwards.
“What the-”
“You’re done, sliver!” growled the poisonous voice of the Flec behind him.
Suddenly, MT’s hand slipped out of Jesse’s as Sieve harshly yanked a squirming and shrieking MT by the shirt, and, with an inhumane strength, hurled her to the other side of the room. She collided against the wall with a metallic clang and dropped to the floor with another, motionless.

Without thinking Jesse ran after her, but Sieve managed to aggressively land a heavy kick to his side, his head slammed against the cold floor of the car. He moaned in pain, clutching at his sides.

“How many goddamn times do I need to tell you to stay out of this, kid!” Sieve picked up the Sander, flipped it on, and charged toward MT’s inanimate body.

Through blurry eyes, Jesse watched in horror as he neared his friend.

They’d been so close.

Jesse’s sides ached to the point where he could hardly move, but he still forced himself to sit with a stifled, his eyes watering in pain. He caught a glimpse of a dark stain on his jacket, but he couldn’t bring himself to care.
With trembling hands he frantically felt around for something, anything, to help him to his feet. He felt a metal pipe under his fingers and quickly stood, whining as he did.
But he was too late.
“No! Don’t touch her! Don’t touch her!”
Sieve had already reached her, and as he lifted his death machine-- its awful whirring sound echoing across the room--

Jesse fully pushed himself to his feet, steadying himself with the pipe, gasping, squeezing his eyes shut. He was out of breath, and he felt something move around in the side Sieve had kicked him on-- a broken rib, most likely-- but he couldn’t bring himself to care.
By sheer force of will, he limped forward, quickly and pathetically, tears streaming down his cheeks--

With the last bit of strength he could muster, he chucked the pipe at Sieve. It weakly bounced off his back, but it was just enough to distract him long enough to briefly stop… him… from...

He felt like his ears were stuffed with cotton. Sieve lips were moving, saying something, and he was still inching forward, and that awful pool was still growing.
A sharp ringing resonated in his ear, in his whole body. His heart thumped loudly in his chest, beating faster by the second. His breathing was heavy.

Jesse felt a jolt of adrenaline rush through his arteries. Now only a few meters away, he straightened up to his full height, squaring his jaw and fixing his glare on Sieve.

“You killed her,” he hissed, “You killed her!”
“I fucking told you to stay back!”
Sieve turned to throw a punch at Jesse, but he ducked just then, grabbing the pipe he’d tossed and smashed it against the flec’s shins, his knees buckling at the hit.
“You fucking--”
Jesse turned and swiftly used the momentum to land another hit on the side of his face, forcefully pushing him to the ground.
“You fucking killed her!”
He kicked his face as hard as he could, then stomped on his nose. He brought down the pipe on every part of Sieve’s body he could reach, so viciously he could hear the whoosh of the weapon cutting through the air in between each hit.
Before he could strike back, Jesse battered the hand holding the Sander several times, with increasing force until it dropped to the floor.
A goopy, disgusting mess of gray remained where Sieve’s hand used to be.

“Kid,” Sieve groaned out, “look at your number-- It’s going up, you idiot!”
Another hit.

“I don’t care about that stupid number!” Jesse said, stepping over him. He was trembling with indescribable hatred and rage.
Two more.
“Well you should, ‘cause you’re never getting your exit back,” Sieve weakly replied with a sneer.
“I don’t care!”
“You left your exit behind for that sliver girlfriend of yours--”
“Don’t call her that!”
“I mean, I knew you were stupid the first time you tried to take that broken sliver through your exit, but coming back and losing it forever? Really, it’s--”
He was cut short by a blow in the jaw.
Jesse snarled, raising the pipe high over his head, his eyes ablaze and murderous.
“I-”
Clang!
“-don’t-”

“-care-”

“-about-“

“-the fucking-”

“-exit!”
Sieve’s face had begun to cave in, the gray seeping out of his nose, eyes, and mouth.
He groaned, but before he could get another word out--
“Shut the fuck up!”
With that, Jesse struck him several times again, left, right, left, right, repeating a haunting mantra of “You killed her! You killed my best friend!” over and over until he lost all his strength. And when he did, he shifted his hold on the pipe to one end, and stabbed it through the flec’s gaping mouth until something gave way and it recoiled against the floor behind his neck.
Sieve’s chokes and gurgles were, just then, the only sounds filling the car.

Jesse breathed heavily, feeling cold, chunks of gray slide down his face. His hands were stained with it, his clothes speckled. He swallowed hard, his eyes watering once more.
“Oh my God,” he breathed out.

He caught sight of the Sander, and upon a single twitch of a finger on Sieve’s good hand, he finished the job.

When nothing remained but a mushy pile of gray, Jesse crawled over to MT’s disfigured body.
Her legs were entirely gone, and her upper half was partially sanded down. Jesse gently held her head, which was, for the most part, intact. Her face was permanently contorted into an expression of harrowing pain.
Jesse pressed his forehead on hers, crying.
The adrenaline of the moment had dissipated, and it all came crashing down on him. His entire body throbbed.
He cried harder.
“Jesse…” MT whimpered out after what seemed like forever.
His eyes snapped open, and he pulled away. “MT-- MT you’re-- I thought you were-- I- I’m so sorry-- I’m--” his voice cracked, his sobs drowning out everything else.
He took off his jacket and balled it up as a makeshift pillow for MT’s head.
MT’s hand fluttered for a second, and Jesse held it with both of his with a feeble squeeze.
“We were so close,” he said, “There were so many things I wanted to show you…”
“Your number… your exit…”
“I don’t want an exit without you,” he sobbed, ignoring the pain, the remains of Sieve, the growing, green glow of his arm.
And for an eternity, Jesse cried, lying beside MT, as the pool of gray covered every square inch of the floor, and numbers on his hand covered every square inch of his arm.
