Let's lighten the mood a bit.

I'm sorry for that last one. It's been in my mental queue for months and needed to come out. It also provides context for things I've written and will write. I'm sorry all the same. If I neglected to tag something please let me know.

I first received a note on that post this morning when i woke up. Someone liked it, to my surprise, and it wasn't a name I recognized. So I investigated and I've been laughing incredulously at what I've found all day:

So I am looking through my past reblogs to see what has been flagged as ‘adult content’ and thus ‘inappropriate’.  So far we have:

Friends, I have figured out The Truth.  Zara Dearborn is secretly controlling Tumblr.

I filled out the survey, saying repeatedly this is a bad idea.  Also the way they specifically targeted fanfic writers, encouraging them to put their fic behind a paywall makes me very uneasy.  I remember the days when we had to put disclaimers on every fic we posted, swearing blood oaths that we were not making any money off it.  

Y'know what, fuck this bullshit. I need to know y'all are actually against it.

I hope to make @staff see how that is total bullshit. Tumblr will die without writers/creators.

However, watching the lawsuits roll in when FanFic writers are starting to monetize them will be balm for my chaos loving soul.

I mean, Imagine a high ranking, Ivy League educated corporate lawyer and a 20-Something, sleep deprived college student running on caffeine, Oreos and spite, in court, arguing about Destiel Angst.
