No matter what I was wearing,

And no matter where I could go,

Clothes do not mean yes

And no will always mean no.

Short as my skirt may have been,

And though I may have looked my best,

You did not ask for consent,

And I did not say yes.

I can still recall your hands

Where they should not have strayed,

And I will always remember

While for you it was just another day.

How many have fallen victim to you

And others who act the same?

Why are you still free to roam

And we get told to change our ways?
