Shikon Jewel - Tumblr Posts

If Inuyasha were a full demon created by the Shikon Jewel.

It’s pretty obvious where Sunrise got that idea of how the Rainbow Pearls were created. Then again, it doesn’t qualify as an idea.
Trashahime: a Sailor Moon RIP-OFF?
Katsuyuki Sumisawa aka Lolisawa recycled a lot of stuff for his dumb what if, and not only from Inuyasha, but also the first anime version of Sailor Moon in which he was involved. I already posted how the idea of the Rainbow Pearls came from the Rainbow Crystals of Sailor Moon: https://kohakuxrin.tumblr.com/post/644276285183557632/its-pretty-obvious-where-sunrise-got-that-idea-of In Sailor Moon, the Silver Crystal was split into the seven Rainbow Crystals so as to seal away Seven Great Yōma. And in episode 34, as Sailor Moon began to cry for her lover Tuxedo Mask who was mortally wounded, her tear made the seven Rainbow Crystals react and merge into one, forming the Silver Crystal itself. In Trashahime, upon learning the death of Toga whom she was fond of, she shed a tear onto the Sacred Jewel which created the seven rainbow pearls. And the fact that he was involved in Episode 34 further proves that this is where he got the idea (then again it doesn’t qualify as an idea).

And it seems it’s not the only thing he recycled.
The idea of the Windmill of Time seems to be from the Space-Time Door which is seen in episode 82 (Sailor Moon R Episode 36), in which Lolisawa was also involved.

And since he was involved in Sailor Moon, he obviously had to know the whole story, therefore Akuru, his pinwheel, and Kirinmaru’s ambition could also be based on Sailor Moon R. As far as I know, it’s Sailor Pluto who guards the Space-Time Door and uses her rod to open the gate to go to the future, but Chibiusa who was chased by villains also holds a key that allows her to go to the Space-Time Door and used it to bring the sailor warriors with her to the future to save it. So technically, Akuru would be like Chibiusa, and Kirinmaru had Sesshomaru as his lackey to hunt for him for the pinwheel which is Chibiusa’s key and Pluto’s rod, just like Wiseman had minions hunt for Chibiusa (although it's because she could be an hindrance to his plan), and is the one traveling to the future to save it but also for whatever vile ambition he has (first it was “he attempts to twist time, swallow the world into the degenerate age and return it to nothingness” but then “By destroying the Grim Comet in the future will prove that I am the strongest. Demons will tremble in fear of me, and humans will worship me!”, it’s so confusing). If anyone who’s very familiar with the first anime version of Sailor Moon and had the guts to watch Trashahime could confirm those similarities, and perhaps if some other stuff were recycled from Sailor Moon...
So far:

I personally think that Naraku was actually originally going to resurrect Sango with the Shikon fragment to get her to kill Inuyasha because he had seen how talented and great at exterminating she was, but then when she didn't actually die he just fed her the information so she would kill Inuyasha. But then that didn't work because she tried to kill him so he just went to plan b which was resurrect Kohaku to get him to 1) kill Inuyasha and 2) punish Sango for not completing her task. I feel like that just makes it that much more twisted and evil which really seems to suit Naraku's style.
Theory: Naraku was originally going to resurrect Sango to kill Inuyasha
I know I already wrote this, but I'm gonna expand on it now and really flesh it out. So I theorize that Naraku was originally going to resurrect Sango, not Kohaku, to kill Inuyasha. Why? Well, let's start from the beginning. It's pretty obvious why Naraku "just happens" to be walking around the exterminators' gravesite. He's going to implant a shikon shard in one of them, so they will kill Inuyasha for him. He was probably going to pick Sango. If that was the case, it would explain why he was so surprised that she was still alive. He was probably going to pick her because he had seen how strong she was. Just a few hours before, she had delivered the first blow to the gigantic spider demon they were exterminating. One of the other exterminators immediately remarks something around the lines of "Sango is truly the village's best!" Her own father includes her in the village's top five fighters and says that she vies for the top rank. Naraku would want someone as skilled as she to kill a troublesome hanyou for him. Now let's compare her to Kohaku. While their father also includes him in the top five and says how he also vies for top rank, it is obvious that this is not actually the case. Kohaku immediately calls him a liar and not even Sango (who has been trying to boost her brother's confidence until this point) will agree with their father. As well as this, when exterminating the demon, Kohaku gets tangled in the spider silk. Of course, this is his first mission, but Naraku would not know that. He would only see two siblings, one experienced and the other not. It was only after Sango learnt the truth and turned against him that Naraku would have considered Kohaku as a second resort. But note even then, he does not use Kohaku to fight, but rather as a bargaining chip to get Sango to still do the dirty work for him. He still has more confidence in Sango's ability to fight than he does in Kohaku. So that is why I believe that Naraku originally intended for Sango to be his puppet, not Kohaku.

For the second day of Inuvember, here's a tiny Inuyasha and a Scared Jewel on Kagome's arrow!
