It should have been Kohaku and Rin becoming an official couple or either no sequel should have ever been made or they should have come up with a different idea for a sequel without making a new couple so fans wouldn’t feel too upset.

Stop Yashahime from making Sesshomaru X Rin a canon pairing.

Someone started this petition to not make this Ship official since it glamorizes grooming and has quite terrible implications.  People keep complaining about Sunrise’s decisions and how bad it was that they showed a girl giving birth to the children she had with the adult who was supposed to take care of her. Let’s keep making noise!

Seriously, sleeping with Sesshomaru only led her to waste 14 years of her life sleeping in a tree and not raising her own children. Had she married Kohaku, she wouldn’t have gone through all that

As I re-imagined Yashahime with Towa and Setsuna not being daughters of Sesshōmaru and Rin or simply another future story, I was thinking of what would become of Rin in the future. And someone taught me something valuable: instead of remaining a helpless dependent girl and just a side piece for someone else, Rin as an adult, no matter who you are shipping her with, should be allowed to be independent of that person you ship her with and to follow her own passions.

I’ve seen some picturing her in various ways including as a demon slayer or a miko, but remembering how she tried to nurse Sesshōmaru the first time she met him and found the berries to save Jaken in episode 96, and as she came to live with Kaede who knows medical treatment and assisted her in delivering Sango’s children at the end of the story, I thought becoming a physician would fit her.

And I picture it like this: While living with Kaede in her village and assisting her in many ways, she thought of how helpless and a liability she was before and wanted to honor everyone’s efforts in saving her life and become useful. So she learned medical treatments from Kaede then, knowing that the demon slayers, despite making their livelihood by killing demons, do not see all demons as a threat and peacefully co-exist with demons who are friendly or do not pose a threat to humans, she relocated in the village of demon slayers, where Kohaku, Sango and Miroku were rebuilding the clan, to operate as their physician not only for them but for any kind of people (human, demon and hanyō) who would either come or be brought here by the demon slayers, and she’d ride on A-Un whenever she’d be needed somewhere else. Additionally, as someone who had her family killed by humans and was cared by a demon, it would help in assuring the demon slayer clan’s code of conduct to remain. She herself would stop some demon slayers, who joined the clan after their families perished because of demons, when they’d attempt to kill an innocent demon, and tell them how it was humans who killed her family and a demon who looked after her to teach them how there's good and evil in anything and to make them understand the demon slayer clan’s code of conduct.

And to become less helpless and less likely a liability, she could have learned some fighting skills and how to use certain weapons to at least defend herself (like the curved blade strapped to her wrist and some bombs). *Image done through Photoshop editing, using a character named Natsuno from Mao (Takahashi’s currently on-going manga)

The only thing I liked in the episode is when kohako was looking at the tree which rin is in it it made me feel its a koharin scene it was so pretty and the flashback he was with rin all the time I really liked it

Papa Sesshomaru and Rin headcanons:

Rin got a lot of her personality from the Inugang from being around them so much. ( With a much bigger Inuyasha and Kagome influenced touch ) which drove Sesshomaru bongers but he remain quiet about it.

On good days Sesshomaru will visit Rin early morning and take her fishing.

Once Rin made her messy hair to look just like Sesshomaru’a to see how he’d react. She did not did the reaction she wanted.

Rin loves collecting flowers for Sesshomaru. Whenever Sesshomaru was asleep she would sneak up from behind and place flowers all over his hair. ( He isn’t really asleep all though he’s just acts like it to humor her. ) He never wanted anyone else to see his hair covered in flowers though and took them off whenever she left.

Sesshomaru was forced by Sango on learning how to take care of Rin’s hair. So whenever she is away with Kaede and heads to hang around him she won’t come back home with mud and grass in her hair.

Sometimes when Sesshomaru and Rin are “hanging out together” Rin gets tired of running around or being active all on her own and just sits besides him. She would probably come to talk nonstop and soon tire herself out having them both to just listen to the sound of nature. Sesshomaru enjoyed these peaceful moments with Rin.

Teenage Rin likes to talk to Sesshomaru about her crushes and constantly tries to find him a wife. ( He never gets with anyone at the end. ) Adult Rin is embarrassed and hates remembering that she use to do this to him but by small moments he likes to remind her to annoy her.

Rin is a terrible cook but Kagome inspires her to try it anyways. One time she brought one of her meals for Sesshomaru to try and when he finally agreed to try it she asked “What do you think?” He kept silent till then replying with... “Creative” She wasn’t into cooking too much after that.

Rin loves babysitting Moroha for Inuyasha and Kagome. And secretly Sesshomaru does too. Jaken just sees her as another Rin though.

Rin never calls Sesshomaru dad or father but she knows anyways that he is like one to her. She prefers to call him “Old man” anyways. Sesshomaru isn’t too bothered by it but he would appreciate a much nicer name. ( But many kids in the village do announce Sesshomaru as Rin’s dad. )

Sesshomaru doesn’t understand why Rin likes his brother so much but comes to deal with it at some point.

Rin likes listening to Sesshomaru’s stories even with Jaken butting in every 5 seconds.

Whenever Rin is sad Sesshomaru will let her vent to him and give her a meaningful hug when she feels better or calm. He knows her life has been rough since being a child.

Rin became a very chaotic teenager and an opposite from Kohaku. Sometimes she will cause trouble around villages for fun. Kohaku will always try to stop her from doing so but at the end of the day Sesshomaru will come to take Rin home and stay there till the next day. This is considered her “punishment” Unannounced Sesshomaru will be seen coming through the door holding her shoulder then sitting Rin down as Kaede watches,rolling her eyes already knowing what happened going back to what she was doing. She becomes more well behaved around 17-18 but still keeps her jokester side till old age.

When Rin passes away Sesshomaru will come sit besides her tombstone to mourn her death. He will leave her flowers. The same type of flowers that she would bring for him.

Inuvember Day 13: Kohaku & Hisui

I wanted to do a piece that felt bittersweet to me because, in my mind, Kohaku has become a sort of father figure to Hisui in Miroku’s absence. I could be wrong, but in my head, that’s the deal. 💙

To me it seems like Miroku’s been MIA for quite a while, which also just makes me upset.

I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE INU GANG-WHERE ISSSSS EVERYONE??? 😭💔💔💔
