Counting Down
I’m counting down the minutes until Sims 4 cats and dogs comes out. I need this pack, I need to have cats and dogs in my game dammit! they’re so cute and fluffy and I want it now dammit!
I got a cat on a rumba! This is Abby from my sims 4 pets playthrough.
The Shenanigans in my Sims 4 Pets Play
Okay first let's introduce my pets so far, I’ll do the humans later but pets first cause who cares about the humans.
Charlie: huge fluffy dog, no idea what kind but he’s fluffy and not the brightest crayon in the box but I love him.
Abby: a loveable Himalayan I think, she’s fluffy black cat who’s tail I dyed blue because reasons. She’s a loving cat, but I like to think she’s sassy and a little jealous that she’s not the only furry child of my sim couple.
Jake: another fluffy cat, who I like to think of as the sly tom cat that charms the ladies and outsmarts dogs and other wildlife. Oh and I'm pretty sure he is the neighborhood's catnip dealer, like 90% sure.
Asparagus: a fluffy Scottish fold who is just adorable, but a bit of a worry wart. I like to think her old owners died and so when my sims adopt her, she worries about them, which is why she followed her sims around the house and freaks out when they take baths even though she’s supposed to be aloof.
The human sims:
Ezaeur Fay: The foodie free spirit that loves animals. before the cats and dogs pack came out, she was a homeless sim (rags to riches challenge) that worked her way doing odd jobs to buy a house. She’s handy, smart, an awesome cook, and dabbles a bit in the arts. She’s still unemployed, but that doesn’t mean she can’t bring home the bacon.
Joseph Oda (bonus points to whoever knows where he’s from): A detective with a love of books, music, and animals. He wasn’t a very social sim, his only friends being from his job. He was happy enough, but a little lonely. He would have adopted a pet but he was worried about not being able to give it the love and attention a pet needs. *cue his cat lady friend, Juli, with Mayor Whiskers and two other black cats, telling him he’s being silly*
The two met at a karaoke bar, where she was singing in a contest for the reward money and where his two friends had dragged him out of his house to meet someone to talk to other than them. The two ended up talking until the sun came up, and the two became friends. Ezaeur gets Joseph to come out of his shell a little and even teaches him how to play the guitar. while this is going on Ezaeur is keeping her living situation a secret. She didn’t want her crush finding out she was homeless. Ezaeur had saved almost enough to buy this cute little house fully furnished in Brindleton Bay when Joseph invited her to the romance festival. At the festival, he finally got up the courage to try to woo Ezaeur. He’s a complete gentleman if a little awkward. Ezaeur falls harder for the detective and after their date at the festival, she works day and night to get that last bit of cash to buy her house. Once she has it, she invites him over and they spend a few days dating before he moves in with her and they start adopting the stray animals around their little home. First came Abby, then Charlie, then Jake and Asparagus. the two love their furry children. Ezaeur does eventually tell Joseph about her being homeless for years before she met him and had only acquired the house a few days after they started dating. Joseph is understanding, cause he’s a sweetheart. So after some time Joseph, takes Ezaeur on this wonderful date. First dinner at a fancy restaurant, then a walk around the huge fountain in Windenburg which Ezaeur loves, and then to the karaoke bar where they met, where he sang a love song to her before proposing. That’s their story for now.
The shenanigans of my sims’ pets:
All four of my pets, come into the bathroom to play lifeguard when my sims are taking baths. Yes all four of them were in there at once, I just wasn’t fast enough with the screenshot before two of the cats bolted out like they knew I wanted to document this strange activity. I think this all started when one of my sims was taking a bath and fell asleep and one cat was there to witness it and they had a meeting or something. it was probably Jake, he was probably like. “guys, that nice lady that took us all in and gave us food almost drowned in that huge bowl filled with water! we have to keep an eye on them.” Abby would have rolled her eyes but agreed to help watch the humans. Charlie would not understand but would help too, meanwhile, Asparagus would just freak the fuck out and try to get the humans not to use the tub somehow.
Holy shit this little story about my sims’ pets acting as lifeguards turned into a mini story. I guess I should post some pics of them.
Found some screenshots from my Sims 4 saves from quarantine. I totally forgot about how I decided General Tullius should have a house cat. I named him Tiger Septim, because why not?
But yeah, the Sims 4 is a lot more entertaining during a national quarantine. It can be a little slow otherwise, at least for me. Still, I wish now that I hadn’t deleted those saves. Although looking at these screenshots compared to the ones I’ve posted from other games, it’s no wonder; look at how outdated the graphics are even with mods!
(Note: While I can take complete credit for Tiger Septim, I don’t remember which user made General Tullius. I downloaded both him and Ulfric Stormcloak for this particular gameplay, though I tweaked a couple things as needed.)
Whatever is about to go down here I’m not sure that I wanna be a part of it. All I know is stripey brown cat looks like he’s ready to really F up orange guy’s day.

THREE LEGGED FURRENDS! (HIND LEG VERSION)
Hello! Want to create your own three legged companions? Well now you can!
Some things to take into consideration before downloading:
This mod is PURELY cosmetic. The mod will not replace any animations whatsoever. Your pets will still walk and act as though they have all 4 legs present.
This mod is for adult & elder cats/dogs ONLY. There is currently no way to give ‘clothing’ to puppies and kittens, so until then, the option will not be available.
Your pet cannot wear shoes or body clothing at the same time as this mod. The “missing leg” requires you to use up both the Full Body and Shoe slot for your pet!
Your pet CAN wear accessories with this mod (besides shoes). Want your pet to wear a hat or collar? Go for it! You can still wear accessories that do not take up the foot slot!
This version of the mod only has options to remove the HIND legs. You can find the front leg version here.
This is NOT a default override. So do not worry about your pets all showing up with a leg missing!
