Soooo I apologise for the unpopular opinion post… It turns out that yes! There is more mlm representation than wlw, but apparently I have seen more lesbian characters than gay men… Have no idea how with the numbers that some of you provided… Anyway here is a link with some shows with wlw characters (after a very quick search and with underdeveloped or fetishised characters, which is not cool and that’s why I want to see Shay’s season) and next time I will check before posting, lesson learned everyone!

Missing Moments

Welcome to the Missing Moments project!

Essentially the idea is to fill in the gaps in the Skam universe, all the conversations, decisions, moments we didn’t see. We only see one character’s POV per season and we only see so long of that but we’ve got all these characters still existing and living their stories and that’s what I want this event to be about. For examples, check out my previous fics here. I won’t be limiting this just to the original either, the remakes are very welcome too! We are getting into season 2 with a few them already afterall.

I am accepting submissions now, please fill in your details here. All you need right now is an idea of what you want to write/create about and as accurate a time spot as possible. Once everyone has sent in their ideas, I plan to make a timeline where all the moments would fit, I’ll go season by season, first with the original then remakes. When it comes to release week(s), they’ll flow in this timeline, I’ll try and make the timeline visual too so it’ll be completely interactive! I’m hoping to build the timeline so that it should build itself up as more fics/art is posted. I’ll be posting a few fics myself, got so many ideas and I can’t wait to see yours!

Important Details

Fanfics must be at least 250 words, otherwise the sky’s the limit.

Both fanfic and fanart are acceptable.

If you want to do more than 1 entry, that’s fine too!

You can post on Tumblr and/or Ao3.

30th March - Check In 1 (Basically confirmation you’re still up for it!)

22nd June - Check In 2 (Just letting me know how your idea has progressed + any major changes to your work)

7th September - You’ll receive your posting date.

7th October - Posting begins! (If there’s a date between the 7th-20th you can’t do, let me know)

I'm watching Druck the German Skam and Jesus fuck I swear the girls in Druck are all so freakin' beautiful, I'm so gay for them

I can't believe I'm watching 5 different shows in 5 different languages with basically the same plot mixed up a bit. That's when you know you're hooked.

I'm watching Skam Austin and so confused on why some people think Grace is already jealous of Kelsey and Daniel. Like when she said, "He's not your boyfriend." She was just annoyed and pointing it out, didn't look jealous

Hello funk team! l recently saw in the druck newsletter that they need more viewers and the fandom is trying their best to get them, but even original skam gained national popularity in Norway in season 2 and international popularity in season 3 and had humble beginnings, so please at least give druck one more chance before writing them off! I truly believe this remake is the best one, so it will break many hearts to see it cancelled. Thank you for your time!

Or you could write any variation of what you want to tell them, but maybe if they saw the positive feedback they would consider renewing the show. And we’re also trying to increase viewership at the same time this is just something additional to let them know of our love for Druck! <3

Okay but Robin Migné who plays Arthur/Mahdi is honestly the hottest Male in any Skam remake ever.

Like, ALL of these characters are pretty... problematic one way or another, so when they fix it all up, it better be good!!!! <3

SKAM AUSTIN Season 2 Episode 8 will be **37** **minutes** !!!

This means that we will have 6 to 7 minutes of new content tomorrow and/or Friday!! (Because the episode is currently at 30 mins with seven clips on Wednesday!)

I kinda think that some of this is just emphasizing the friendships and/or events in these relationships.

And there will be some bonding with Zoya and Shay and Tyler. I think. Maybe?

Oh my gosh I do agree!! However, I haven't watched Skam France so I don't have an opinion on that.

I'm aware I already hold an award for least popular skam opinions but damn if I ever shared more the extreme skam fans would chew me out

For example:

Skam Austin is my favorite remake

Megan is the best Eva remake

Joana is the best Even

Skam España isn't problematic

I don't really care for the OG Even

Skam France only has one good season (take a wild guess)

Druck is good but not that good

Meg and Shay is my favorite ship

And those are the ones that hopefully don't get me a lot of hate lol. I've just been realizing how many things I don't agree with the majority about while browsing tags. Wild.

Oh my gosh TRUE!!! I'm not taking APUSH this year, just reg, but my friends feel like this about how detailed and much stuff they have to know about everything all at once. Now that netflix is saving skam italia i hope they also heard about 7 other versions that could use funding and a home 👀 imagine all 8 versions streaming on netflix with subs in your home language. Imagine skam nl being saved. Imagine skam austin officially getting another season. Imagine it not being on facebook watch so they can actually curse and use explicit songs.
