Slashed Throat - Tumblr Posts
I have returned with yet another vamp story! The vamp in this one is different than the ones in the other two stories I’ve posted. And tbh, I like this kind the most :). He’s lowhighkey kinda fucked up, but idccc. I love me some creepy murderous vamps! I’m quite happy with how this one turned out, so I hope that ya’ll will enjoy reading it!
Also! Like I said before, this story is quite gory (it’s not majorly detailed or anything, but mentions of blood and gore happen), so please please please check the tags before reading!! :3

Always mind your own business
I’m walking outside with my group of friends. They had texted me, asking if I wanted to come outside to cause some ruckus.
They occasionally do this, just to fuck with people, I guess. And for the adrenaline. They never fail to kick on that. To be honest, I feel like we’re getting a bit too old for this now. I really didn’t want to come with them, but they showed up at my house almost instantly. So I ended up not having a choice after all.
“Yo, look at that weirdo over there!” the shortest of the group playfully hits my shoulder, clearly trying to get my attention. I follow everyone’s gazes and eventually my eyes fall on the ‘weirdo’ as well. I spot a man, probably around our ages. He’s leaning against a streetlamp, simply watching people from a distance. He appears to be wearing a neat black suit with a white blouse, leather black gloves added to finish the entire look.
“Why is he watching them like such a creep? That’s sus as hell!” another friend says.
“Come on, guys. He’s causing no harm. Leave him alone,” I try to avert their attention from the man, but the shortest doesn’t agree with this move.
“Nah, we’re getting him.” He’s not to be stopped. The rest of the group follows his lead walking towards the stranger. “Fuck,” I sigh, but quickly gain speed to reach them before they start beating the man up.
“Whatcha doing there, creep?” the shortest spits.
The man, who was first lazily gazing at some people walking by, snaps out of his thoughts. “O-Oh, hi everyone. I was j-just getting some fresh air,” he can’t help but stutter, obviously being surprised that five people have suddenly walked up to him.
“Uh-uh sure, ‘just getting some fresh air’. Then why were you standing here creeping on people?” someone else speaks up this time, to my surprise. They’re grouping up on him now.
“Alright, you’ve had enough fun. Let’s go now,” I try to cut them off, but to no avail.
The tallest of the group, who spoke up just now, takes a step towards the man. He intimidatingly hovers over him, while never losing eye contact. “Say something, creep,” he says. The man now realizes that we’re not here to have a nice chat with him. Fear is definitely present on his facial expressions.
“P-Please just leave me alone.”
The group laughs at him.
“You’re pathetic, you know that right?” yet again, it’s someone else in the group that speaks up.
Before I know it, the tallest one raises his fist and plants it on the stranger’s face. He didn’t get hit lightly, his body launches to the hard concrete beneath him.
“Dude!” I grab my friend’s shoulder, wanting to stop him from going any further. However, he shoves my hand away and walks towards the stranger once again.
The man looks up, at the spot where the people he was gazing at before were standing. They seem to have left after hearing the commotion.
“See! He was totally watching them!” the tallest shouts. The one on the ground sighs deeply. “What the fuck are you sighing for, huh?!” I didn’t notice who said that this time.
“You guys should really leave now.” It’s probably not the answer my friend expected, but it’s an answer nonetheless.
I can’t help but feel bad for this man, he never did anything wrong. He actually seems like a very sophisticated individual, just trying to enjoy a peaceful day outside. And we came here to ruin it.
He gets hit once again. And again. And again. Until his nose is severely broken and his face is covered in blood and cuts. Every time he spits, a good amount of blood comes with it as well. And all I could do was watch it happen from the sidelines. Trying to stop them wouldn’t work, I knew that. They would just continue hitting him anyway.
The beat up man chuckles, “Good job, humans. You have managed to piss me off.”
He gets up, to my surprise. Anyone beat up this much would probably stay down for quite some time. But what happens next surprises me to no end.
The deep cuts disappear, and his once broken nose repairs itself, like it was never broken in the first place. “H-Holy shit!” the shortest in the group screams. I apparently wasn’t the only one who noticed it, the entire group stumbles back in astonishment.
“Now, now. I warned you before, didn’t I?” And that he definitely did, but everyone immediately disregarded it.
“First you come to me, obviously distracting me. Then you have the audacity to scare my dinner off. And last, but most certainly not least, you keep hitting me, even though I told you to leave. Now, that’s really on you,” the stranger spits.
Wait. Did my ears deceive me? Did he just say ‘dinner’?
The man takes a step towards the tallest of the group and moves his hand in lightning speed right in front of his bare neck. I feel something splash on my face. I reach to it and take a look at my shivering hand. Dark-red liquid lays on my fingers.
At the same time, a body drops on the floor. I look at my friend, who is now desperately trying to breathe, but resulting in just choking on his own blood. He keeps his hands on his slashed throat, probably wanting to keep the blood in. But soon, he gives up altogether.
He just killed him. What. The. Fuck. “Everyone, run!” My friends have come to their senses and activated their survival mode. They make a run for it, all of them dispersing in a different direction.
“Running won’t get you very far!” the stranger says, while walking up to me. His eyes turn into a ruby red color. “H-How is that even possible?” I speak up. “Don’t speak. Stay here.” He then disappears before my very eyes.
I want to run away. Fast. But I seem to be frozen in place. I can’t move a single muscle. My brain suddenly realizes that the stranger is no man.
The one my friends decided to mess with, is a fucking vampire. It sounds so irrational, but I have no other explanation for what just happened.
It doesn’t take long for him to come back with all three of my friends in his own two hands. Every single on of them severely beat up. He throws them to my feet.
“I must say, your friends are complete assholes. You know that, right?” he asks that with urgency, like he longs for me to say it myself. I want to curse at him so bad, but my lips won’t move an inch. The vampire noticed. “Ah silly me, I forgot that you aren’t allowed to say anything. Hah!” Is he seriously playing games with me right now? Even after he just killed my friend?
“Anyway, that doesn’t matter. You may watch them all die now.” My eyes widen at his statement.
I want to make him stop, but forget about my restrictions of being able to move or talk. The vampire grabs one of my friends and lifts him up.
“No!” I keep screaming it over and over, however not a single word escapes my mouth. It’s all in my head. He smiles at me, pulls my friend’s head back and buries his fangs deep inside his neck. The eye contact between us is never broken while he does this. I can see the life getting drained out of my friend’s body.
Tears well up in my eyes. I can’t believe that this is really happening right now. The dead body drops on the floor.
“Damn. You tasted like shit. Such a shame.” The vampire’s comment sickens me ever so much.
Barely any time passes until he grabs another victim. And another one. All I can do is watch them get killed.
Neck skin getting torn off. Arms being broken. Organs ripped out of their bodies. I closed my eyes at some point, I couldn’t handle the sight anymore. But their agonizing screams will forever ring in my ears.
If I make it out alive, that is.
The vampire seems to be focusing his attention on me now. He confidently takes a few steps towards me.
“What’d you think of that?” The vampire smiles ear to ear.
Killing people means fun to him. He’s enjoying every second of this. I use all of the willpower I have in my body to speak up to him.
“L-Let me g-go, p-please…”
It sounded so loud. Did I actually speak just now? His eyes widen, then a raspy chuckle escapes his mouth. “You dare to break through my mind compulsion? How very brave of you,” he says.
A leather handed fist then hits me in my stomach with great force. I, to my surprise, bend over in pain. My body is able to move! I try to move my legs as well, but they don’t move at all. Running is still not an option.
I can’t help but cough up the blood that has gathered in my mouth. It splatters everywhere. The vampire looks down at his clothing.
“Now look what you have done. You made my suit all messy,” he sarcastically says, like his suit didn’t go through hell and back while ripping my friends into pieces. “I must say, in all my days I haven’t met a single human that managed to break through my compulsion. That makes you, my dear friend, very special.”
The vampire takes an observing look at me. Like he’s trying to figure out how I did it.“Anyway, it’s time for your punishment now.”
Tears roll down my cheek. How did it all get to this point… “What? You didn’t think that you’d get away with this, did you? You didn’t care to intervene when poor me was getting beat up. You deserve this, too,” the vampire pouts.
I don’t know what I was expecting, to be honest. I was just hoping that today wasn’t the day I died to the hands, or rather fangs, of a long lost myth.
“You shouldn’t have gotten your hopes up after I said that you’re special. Special people die too, after all,” the vampire chuckles again.
Next thing I know, an immensely strong hand wraps itself around my neck and lifts me up. The air to my lungs is rudely getting cut off. Choking sounds escape my mouth. I notice that I’m able to move my arms now too, so I try to unwrap his fingers around my neck. But he’s simply just way too strong. “I like seeing you fight for your life. It’s a lovely sight.”
The veins underneath his eyes pop out like crazy and his eyes turn deep red once more. This is probably an indication that he’s definitely enjoying this. “You know, I’m still going easy on you. I could’ve broken your neck, better yet, rip it off your body entirely. Or broken your legs and compelled you to run. I’m being extra generous today, don’t you think?” Sarcasm is present in his words again. I look deep into my killer’s eyes, hoping that he will remember my face for the rest of his eternity.
I’m getting extremely light headed and nauseous. It’s starting to become white in front of my eyes. “Oh, now is the time you don’t want to speak?” the vampire says.
“F-Fuck y-you.” I can’t breathe, but at least I can still utter my last words. He smiles at me sadistically and tightens the grip around my neck even more. My throat and lungs are burning up. My head hurts. I’m going to die soon, I can feel it. My hands stop struggling. My body grows limp. White is taking up my entire vision now. I take one last look at the shadow of the inhuman creature holding its strong hands around me.
“You should have minded your own business.”
