Sleeping is even worse. To all of the acolytes you've been up for who-knows-how-long. Honestly, you put Jean and Ganyu to shame with how long you refuse to rest. What do you mean you're not at all tired? You've been up for almost a month straight! Do not make them literally tie you to the bed, hoping that you'll finally get some sleep.
And when your body gets the 9 hours of sleep you need, you are shocked to see the entire cult in utter chaos. Like some real "Lord of the flies" shit. And the second they see you awake again, they've back on their knees, crying about how much they missed you.
You suddenly understand why they are clinging to you every possible second. If they decide to absolutely lose their collective shit every time you take a nap, who knows what they'll do when you want some time away from them. To you it's only been like two or three days, meanwhile they're convinced that you have abandoned them as the seasons begin to change.
Time dialation is a bitch like that.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to let y’all know I’m taking a little breather for The Yellow Rose. I’ve been writing between 20-30 pages per chapter and we’re about to reach a lot of dramatic points so I’m taking a breather this week. I know I’m usually good for each Monday but I’m real tired and I ended up with the 24 hr flu and so yeah.
But that being said, asks are still totally welcome and I will be trying my hand at the traintober writing prompts. Also, I’m still working on Henry as Venusaur! I’m excited to keep working on things! Just needing a breather! 😁

[18:30] It was not that often that I could have him with me at home that early in the afternoon. Practice would usually drag the hours away in a haze till sundown in most days, but as for today, Hyungwon was already home and in the shower, filling my pretty tiles with soap while obnoxiously singing his heart away. I really love how he never gets tired of the slight burning on his throat that singing causes.
He stumbled to our shared bedroom barefoot, his stripped pajamas hanging loosely on his tall frame and ruffled his locks with a hand towel. Droplets landed on the book page I was fixated to and I hastily moved away from him, causing him to erupt into a fit of delirious giggles. Oh dear, he was already sleeping with his eyes wide open. “Get yourself comfortable quick, you’ll catch a cold”. I tried to ease my way to the bathroom, but Won blocked my way with his all 182 centimeters giggling like a schoolgirl. “Wonnie I’ll brush my teeth and then we can go to sleep, I promise”.
Ten minutes later and he was already almost passed out on my side of the bed yet again. (He is a really firm supporter of the “the whole bed is for both of us, no sides” scheme, mainly because sometimes he is too sleepy to drag himself around his.) I hoofed trying to suppress a laugh and started digging through a cocoon of blankets, duvets and pillows in search of some precious body warmth. I found him laying on his back, so I laid on his chest and his hands immediately found their way around me, even in his sleep. I rolled my eyes at particularly no one and thought to myself how we both managed to have some hours for quality time alone and we decided to sleep earlier than doing anything else. How is our life gonna be at our eighties I wonder.

It was a soothing day, the sun was shining brightly, bringing warmth to everything that basked in its presence.
Y/n was walking around the forests of Sumeru, working on a commission for who knows what. They were currently looking for different herbs and medicinal plants, but it was taking longer than they thoughts.
It was oddly hard looking for good quality herbs that weren’t affected by the courses of nature. Y/n yawned as their view became somewhat blurry. They tried their best to stay awake enough to finish the job.
Y/n’s eyes hurt from the lack of sleep, and visible eye bags had graced their features. This wasn’t something Y/n was used to at all. All of a sudden, Y/n felt something slip into their hand. They turned to see their dark blue haired friend.
“Oh Layla! What are you doing out here? I wouldn’t expect you to be in a forest, alone, of all things.”
Layla didn’t say a word, only gripping her friend's hand even tighter. She yawned and stared into shining e/c eyes that reflected the little sun that was allowed by the trees to fall. Layla blushes slightly at the beautiful sight in front of her, Layla’s gaze was interrupted, however.
Y/n yawned, causing them to close their eyes. Tears pricked their eyes as sleepiness gripped them. The hand Layla gripped was taken away, brought up to Y/n’s face as they rub their eyes sleepily.
“Ah, I’m so sorry, Layla! I haven’t had a good chance to get some good rest. Looking for these herbs have been oddly hard.”
Layla nodded and brought her hand to caress her friend's face. Y/n blushed slightly, feeling their face heat up. It was an odd feeling for Y/n, Layla had always had that affect on them. Layla smiled softly.
“I’ll help, but first you need rest. Here, come with me.”
Layla grabbed Y/n’s hand once more and led them to a clearing in the forest they were in. There were flowers that added color to the endless green. The trees provided a good amount of cool shade.
Y/n looked at the sight, it was beautiful to them. They looked at Layla with a smile, their eyes filled with curiosity. Layla ignored it and pulled them into the spot, laying them on top of her.
Y/n blushed again, feeling a bit flustered as to how close they were to Layla. Layla started drifting off to sleep, trapping Y/n in her embrace. She subconsciously made an icy shield to protect her and her friend.
Y/n felt the warmth of the sun, and it made them very sleepy. They started drifting off into dream land, sinking deeper into Layla. Layla smiled, feeling Y/n sink deeper into her, finally getting the rest they needed.
Once Y/n was asleep, Layla kissed the top of their head. She knew Y/n was out here longer than they needed to be. And she went out to find them and fix it.
“Sleep well, my snowdrop.”
