Minish Cap - Tumblr Posts
Yay! I've actually made 3 more of these now, so there's lots to choose from. There's only going to be 5 of each cover though.
I'll also have stickers made with the same designs, some A6 cloth-bound sketchbooks, Bad Fairy Bakery comics and What's the Time, Mrs Woolf? zines. I hope there's space on the table!

London MCM Expo part 2
How cute are these Zelda note book/sketch book covers?! Sarah Fogg will be taking limited print runs of these designs!

These are the notebooks I took to MCM last weekend! I was very pleased with how they turned out, although getting the colours to scan was a nightmare. I'd run out of bristol board and had to paint on cream paper, which is always a bad idea. I never learn!
We forgot to take a photo of our table at MCM before some of these had already sold out, so here they are in a set in case you wanted to see the other designs.
So. Something just popped into my head. Would vaati be scared of dead hands, or genuinely intrigued by and interested in them?

I've been making window clingies of the elemental gems from Minish Cap and Four Swords (plus rainbows because pride month) and I thought I'd put together a tutorial :)
Materials needed:
Permanent markers
Clear cellophane wrap
Scisors
Paper to sketch or print your design on
Not strictly necessary but useful:
Tape (for holding your pattern in place)
Something with a straight edge, like a ruler or bone folder (for smoothing out the plastic)
Step one:
Decide on a design. I drew mine digitally and printed it out. The printer had an issue, but eh, I can still see the lines, it's good enough ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Step two:
Fold a sheet of cellophane wrap in half to make a double-layered sheet that is a little bigger than your intended design. Try your best not to get it too crumply and wrinkled, but in my experience a little bit of crinkling is unavoidable. Best not to get too perfectionist about it, and just embrace it as part of the stained-glass look!
Unfortunately, cellophane being clear, this step is hard to photograph ^^;;
Step three:
Lay the double-sided cellophane sheet over the top of your design. The best way I found to keep everything in place was to tape the pattern to a smooth surface and stick the plastic down around it.
Starting with the lightest colors first to avoid color bleed, start coloring your design, leaving the lineart for last.

Step four:
At this point, the colors might look nice and vibrant against the white paper, but when you pick the plastic up and hold it up to the light, it will likely look washed-out and/or streaky.
To build up the colors more, fold another layer of cellophane and place it on top of the inked side of your current sheet. Then go over the colors and lines again, once again in order from lightest to darkest.
Keep adding layers until you're satisfied with the darkness of the colors. You can even get some interesting effects and shading by combining layers of different colors!

Step five:
When you're done, add one final layer of cellophane to the top to protect the inks. If you have a ruler or bone folder, I recommend using it now to smooth out the plastic and press the layers together as much as possible.
Then just trim around the edges and slap it on your window! :D

MC! Zelda and Smith.

A little doodle with some watercolor inspired by @figmentforms most recent chapter for their webcomic ‘ A Tale Of Two Rulers ‘. This was really funny to make tbh. ( If you like legend of Zelda please go read their webcomic and show them some love! )
lmaooo
I was messing around with CHAI, an app to make and mess around with peoples chat bots and i found a vaati bot and i'd just like to say

amazing conversation starter-
redrew an old oc from a few years back

let me introduce you to Vickor Vaati's son i originally made him for a crack rp but i ended up having too many ideas for him- drawing isn't too good i might try drawing it again
Knock-off zelda d&d campaign
alright so like a few years back i was planning a d&d campaign with a few friends and like- i wanted to shove in zelda characters without anybody noticing they all noticed- but i'd just like to show off my fine work-
Victor (totally not Vaati)
main villain of the campaign
certified lonely boi
he's ✨royalty✨
short tempered-
closeted pan sexual
Octavius (totally not Octavo)
neat freak
same colour scheme but he now has ✨short hair✨
generally chill dude
has a book collection
the party disintegrated his couch-
Gerald (totally not the green link)
Oldest of 5 brothers
has a dead wife and now an alcohol addiction-
certified dad
cries during romantic moments
has a cloak with a green gem button thingy hence the nickname green
Violet (totally not vio)
chill dude
basically green's therapist
always get's made fun of for having a girls name
second oldest of the five brothers
he want's to be a travelling scholar
same cloak thing with green but purple this time
Barrett (totally not blue)
another short tempered dude
is twins with our boy red
he's a stickler and won't do anything without getting payment in return
whines like a child
same cloak thing but blue, hence the nickname blue
Ronan (totally not red)
emotional boyo
has a mini flower garden
tries to enjoy blue's presence but it always ends up in a fight
twins with blue
same cloak thingy but red, hence the nickname red
Salem (totally not shadow link)
left him for last but he's kinda like the middle child
he doesn't really have any of the features the rest of the brothers have which basically leads him to think he was adopted but their parents aren't around so no one knows
the brothers legit thought he was dead for the longest time just to find him working for Victor
yeah Salem was dying but Victor saved him but now both their souls are bound to a single object a hair brush
so uuuuh feel free to do with that information as you please-
aaaaaah- the link to download doesn't work sad anyway, looks fabulous, 10/10
Update on the Wind Palace
Some of my followers remember this post where i shared my WIP on Vaati’s wind palace. Well, I’m proud to say that after several months, I’m calling it finished!
Texture pack is Mizuno’s 16 Craft, for those interested. (It’s not nearly as pretty without)
The exterior hasn’t changed much, I’ve only made some changes to the courtyard and added the entrance we see in FSA.

Coming in from the front, we have a look at the courtyard, complete with a training yard for the monsters in the palace, and garden for the mage himself.

I had a lot of fun with the interior, particularly the lounge areas. Of course, Vaati also gets an extravagant dining room, kitchen, and… ignore the hall of statues. Definitely not cursed soldiers or anything…

There are also some smaller rooms I made with the extra space.

Yes he has a toilet. It’s fantasy, Vaati can have some indoor plumbing, as a treat.
The next floor takes you to the laboratory, library, and another fireplace.

If you follow this door

It takes you to the tower where Zelda would be. She may be kidnapped but heck if the bedroom isnt kept nice

Going up to another level on the main building, we have Vaati’s master bath and bedroom, as well as a small arena where monsters can spar for his entertainment.

as well as his study and magic room. Complete with a dark mirror and portal inspired off of FigmentForm’s Vaati in Tale of Two Rulers. (It’s a lovely ZelGan story too, I highyl recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!)
In fact, this and the lab, is highly inspired by her work, as I absolutely love the idea of our favorite wind mage being well educated in both magic and science, and having a lot of his projects being a mix of the two.

I’m limited by vanilla minecraft on what i can add, but I’m happy with how this turned out all things considered.
For those interested, You can download the world for the palace here! It is located at 0, 64, 0.

Toon Zeldas again

Old (2010) vs. New (2019)
Went through my old pictures a while ago and found an old picture of Vaati by chance. Couldn’t resist the challenge!
