Favourite Movies - Open Range (2003) Kevin Costner directs and stars in this excellent Western drama. It's a familiar story which is well crafted, acted and filmed. The cinematography and score are top notch. Costner and Duvall are in excellent form as an ex-gunslinger and his boss, a cattleman. The supporting cast, including Annette Bening and Michael Gambon, are all superb and add to this character driven story.

Dying for a 4K release.

I watched this for the first time recently and it was so good The Chemistry between Duvall and Costner was great But Kevin Costner wrote this for Duvall He said he didn't want to make it without him so it makes sense The shootouts are great too I feel like the main relationship The important one is between Boss Spearman and Charlie The love story is just incidental i need to watch it again
