Your first leading role in a drama and you were opposite someone you were sure hated your guts. Whenever you approached Kyungsoo, he’d take off shortly after. He never struck up a conversation between shots and barely looked you in the eyes.
But when the cameras started rolling, he was an entirely different man. Full of sunshine and confident smiles that left butterflies in your stomach. As the storyline progressed and your characters got closer, his touches were soft and you could swear he meant what the words he recited.
Then the director would shout cut and the light in his eyes would disappear. True to the warnings you’d gotten when you received your script, you were falling for him with no way to stop it. Knowing that you’d never get the happy ending your characters were heading towards left you miserable and slowly dreading getting up for work each day.
You’d finally come to your first kissing scene. It was supposed to be tentative and curious but passionate. Yeah, right.

as a rookie actress, you were completely shocked to be starring in a film with one of the most successful actors in the industry, do kyungsoo. you had auditioned spontaneously, not expecting much from it due to the popularity of the director. although, when you got the call back you almost screamed with excitement.
you had attended a script reading, where you met the A list actor, kyungsoo, for the first time. while reading his lines you couldn’t take your eyes off him. he was so handsome and talented. you were snapped out of your daze when the director suggested to skip the kiss scene ‘for now’. you hadn’t realized there was a kiss scene; maybe because you were so star struck by the do kyungsoo.
it was now the first day on set and to say you were nervous was an understatement.
“places, everyone! let’s get some practice shots in before filming. we will run through the most impactful scenes first.” the director calls out. your manager rushes you out of your hair and makeup chair and onto the set. your outfit was professional since your role was an assistant of a CEO, aka kyungsoo’s role. you wore a tight pencil skirt and a blouse. you tried to hide your gasp when you saw kyungsoo approaching, which resulted in an awkward cough when he bowed to greet you. he looked amazing. he wore a black on black suit and tie with his light brown hair styled up. he looked even better in real life than on screen. you tried to hide your blush by keeping your eyes on anything else but him. you were starting to doubt your ability to act in this role with kyungsoo. he was so talented while you were just a rookie, although your manager had assured you that doing this would make your break into the bigger screens.
“start the kiss scene run through.” the directors orders snapped you out of your running thoughts. even though this was just practice and the cameras weren’t even rolling, you were still anxious.
you walked a few feet to the office set, where the kiss scene was taking place. your character was written to be pushed against the CEO’s office wall and kissed passionately. you stand a few feet away from the wall and kyungsoo steps in front of you. waiting for the directors call to start, you met eyes with kyungsoo. they were so big and sparkly. they looked as if they were filled with pure chocolate. with the bright stage lights, they glowed.
“kiss scene, start!” the director orders. your stomach did a flip as you felt kyungsoo’s hands on your shoulders, pushing you against the wall. it didn’t hurt, although you knew it looked as if it did since you heard slights gasps from the staff, silently applauding kyungsoo’s skills. you froze when you saw him leaning closer and closer to you. it wasn’t until your lips met his when you remembered you should be acting, so you close your eyes suddenly and attempt to be passionate.
“stop! stop! stop stop stop excuse me? what was that?” the director interrupts. you feel kyungsoo pull away from you and you both look toward the upset director.
“w-what?” you speak quietly, confused.
“you! newbie! you’re so STIFF it looks as if he’s kissing the fucking wall!” the director exclaims. you felt your eyes watering. you were always great at receiving criticism but something about having this man yell at you in front of so many people made you feed worse.
“i’m sure she’s just nervous Mr. Park.” kyungsoo suddenly speaks up. he’s been relatively quiet the entire time you’ve been on set, so to see him speak anything besides his lines surprised you a little bit.
“you said she was good, what the hell is this?”
what?
“and she is! don’t be so harsh, ill handle it.” kyungsoo raised his voice slightly, taking your hand and pulling you away. confused, you follow behind kyungsoo, letting him guide you to wherever he was taking you. you couldn’t really tell since your eyes had began to well up, causing your vision to blur.
you enter a room and hear a door close behind you. kyungsoo sits you down and hands you a tissue.
“hey, don’t listen to him. okay? i think you did great.” kyungsoo reassures you, placing a hand on the back of your head, softly patting. you shake your head no.
“no, he’s right.” you speak softly with your head down, too embarrassed to look at kyungsoo.
“yah, don’t say that. have you ever done a kiss scene before?”
you shake your head no, using the tissue to dab away the tears threatening to spill.
“see! it’s fine. of course you wouldn’t know how to react.”
your mind starts replaying what just happened. how you froze when kyungsoo got near you, how you forgot to kiss him back, how the director yelled at you in front of everyone, how kyungsoo stood up for you, h- wait.
“you said she was good”
“w-what did he mean when he said you said i was good?” you finally looked up at kyungsoo from your seat. you took in your surroundings for a second and inferred that you were in his dressing room. due to the wardrobe and products that seemed to match him.
“ah” kyungsoo hummed and looked down. “uh, well.. i actually demanded the role was to be given to you..”
WHAT
you couldn’t speak. your jaw slightly dropped in shock. the do kyungsoo demanded a lead role to be given to YOU?? why? you’re a nobody compared to him. how did he even know you auditioned?
“i know. i know. it sounds weird. i’m sorry. but i’ve seen the work you’ve done in the past and you’re beautiful and talented you deserve to be on a bigger screen. you’re so underrated i just knew you could do this role well.” he rambled. you saw his ears and cheeks flush a light shade of pink as he explained himself.
“thank you…but, i’m obviously not doing this role well so you were wrong.” you huff in annoyance at yourself.
“don’t say that. you’re doing amazing.” he attempts to reassure you again.
“i can’t even kiss right! how am i supposed to pull of this whole film?”
“i think you’re just nervous. you need to get comfortable with the role. we can practice.. if you want..” kyungsoo spoke the last part quietly. your eyes widened a bit at the idea and your cheeks flushed at the opposition. although, it didn’t seem like such a bad idea. besides the fact that kyungsoo was insanely attractive, it would help get you more comfortable with him and doing the kiss on film.
“okay.” you look at him.
“w-really?” kyungsoo’s eyes widen but he quickly collects himself and clears his throat. “hm, okay. come closer.” he seemed nervous.
you move so your body is facing his.
“okay, so i’m going to kiss you now. just follow my lead okay? and just stop when you feel like it.” kyungsoo places one of his hands under your chin, tilting your head slightly upwards. he leaned closer. your lips were just inches away from his. you close your eyes when his lips touch yours. now that you were more comfortable than before, you noticed how soft his lips were; how gentle he was. you deepened the kiss by leaning into him more, placing your hand on his thigh for balance. you felt him stiffen up a bit when you did this, but ignored it and continued to kiss him.
you decided to push things further when you remembered the kiss was supposed to be ‘passionate’. you could tell he was shocked when you bit his lip. but by the way he pulled you on top of him, you could tell he liked it. straddling him, you wrapped your arms around his neck while his hands rested at your hips. the kiss began to take your breath away. pulling away to catch your breath, you were met with kyungsoo kissing down your neck. you couldn’t suppress your moan as he kissed and sucked that one area that made you go crazy. he was so gentle, yet there was a sense of hunger behind his actions. you could tell he was holding back.
guiding his face back to yours, you kissed him deeply. you almost squeaked in surprise when you felt his hands push your hips down so you were grinding on him. he let out low groans at the friction. his moans were so deep, like music to your ears. you decide to grind harder against him, wanting to desperately hear him again. he pulls away from the kiss to lean his head back, letting out deep breaths and moans. you smirk to yourself, proud to be able to get this reaction out of him. you lean forward, leaving sloppy kisses along his neck, occasionally biting. this only caused him to release more groans.
his voice alone made you extremely needy. you wanted him. you craved him. the feeling of his lips on yours was heavenly. the way he touched you so softly made your heart melt. it was like he thought you were going to break. the feeling of his hands guiding you to grind against him made you dizzy. it felt so good. you wanted more.
your hands trail downwards. from his shoulders, down his suit, to the buckle on his pants. his eyes on you the entire time. you blushed as you hesitated to unbuckle them. you looked at him for permission. he raised one of his hands to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear as he softly nodded, giving you permission.
as you undid his belt, you and kyungsoo froze as a loud knock on the door startled you both.
“all leads to the set” a voice called through the door.
you let out a sigh of relief that whoever was at the door didn’t come in. you pout, upset that you and kyungsoo were interrupted and couldn’t continue. you look up at kyungsoo when you hear him let out a small laugh.
“hey, it’s okay.” he says, trying to reassure you. this only causes you to roll your eyes.
“noooo” you whine. “i want you.” you say rather boldly, playing with his belt buckle in your hands. you could tell he was taken aback by the confession. he lifts you off of his lap and stands up, holding his hand out for you.
“come on, y/n. i’m sure you’re more than comfortable with the kiss scene now.” he has a cute smile playing at his lips as he speaks. you feel butterflies in your stomach recalling your actions just a few minuets prior. taking his hand, you both walk out onto the office set.
“kiss scene, start!”
