no bcuz the other day i had this fantastic idea for a body horror oc and i didn't write it down to draw later and now i can't remember it 😭
i finally scheduled a pedicure because i've wanted one for like 6+ months but now i'm having anxiety 💀😭
I'm not like a super late sleeper or anything but, one of the biggest perks of my job is I can kinda move at my own pace (slow as fuck). This next run has an actual deadline which is stressin' me out.

So I had my first post become a bit popular... and so my brain decided to do the dumb thing it does, and stop me from even opening Tumblr for a week. yay!
So starting a 4 week internship tomorrow...
My info is: Show up at 8:30, and I will help on a project to test a better method for time-stamping sonar data with time from GPS units on boats ( Well, GNSS.)
That... Is all. No clue what languages or what tech stack... protocols... system diagrams...
How did they do it before? If you have GNSS data then... you are pretty much as good as you will get... Nothing beats atmoic clocks in space, which are further calibrated with atomic clocks on the ground...So they did not use GNSS before? Why not?
Like, they know I am uninformed, but... I try to make myself calm by researching and testing stuff ahead of time... So yay massive anxiety.

My Brain: That lady is doing a lovely reading.

My Brain: We’re reading next. We’re going to have to stand up, walk over to the lectern, go up the steps, stand and read, and then come back down again.
Me: Yes, but it’s fine. We’ve read in church many times before. It’s a long passage but there are no hard words. I’m not worried.

My Brain: We’ve had our legs crossed and one foot jammed under the pew in front for about half an hour now.

Me: After a week of sunny hell it is finally GREY and OVERCAST which means I can go out in my JEANS as God intended.
My Brain: It is June in central London. If it is grey and overcast it's because we've finally hit, idk, that mythical 2000% humidity where the water just straight up recondenses out of thin air. If you go out like that you will - and I cannot stress this enough - die.
