He likes to press his hands against the glass that separates them, so that he can almost touch her. Can almost run his rough, dirtied fingers along that pure, unsullied skin. Can almost thread his fingers through her hair and pull on it, ever so slightly, to hear her whine in pain. To soothe and comfort her, to make her love him, need him like he does her. But he cannot. And he will not. That is why the glass is there.

Sometimes she breathes against it, a small, gentle breath, so that she can draw small messages into the condensation. Sometimes they’re in a language he understands; she asks him questions, answers his, or draws tiny pictures for him. Sometimes, though, when she seems flat and empty and hopeless, she writes in a different script, one which seems more familiar to her. She writes short, bleak sentences with no punctuation, and there are no pictures. It makes him want to hold her, to kiss her hair and find out what’s wrong, what has upset her so, but he cannot, because he knows that the answer is him.

She is asleep when he comes this morning, curled up in a little ball, tiny hands clutching at her blanket. He watches as her chest rises and falls, as she breathes in and out, in and out, in, out, in, out. It’s a good reminder of why there is glass between them — the class also separates her from the rest of the world, the cold, cruel world which would only seek to hurt her, ruin her, take all of her that is beautiful and turn it into something else, something more acceptable. And he cannot allow that to happen. He cannot allow them near his girl, to even think of her, so they cannot know she exists. And she doesn’t, not to the world, because she is his. And she looks so pretty when she sleeps. So, so pretty.

He runs his hands down his chest and pretends it is hers. Presses a small kiss to the glass, level with her face as if they’re touching. And when she slowly wakes, he makes sure their eyes meet. He whispers good morning. She mouths it back. They are safe from the world.

Autumn - Joonmyeon/Suho

I really didn’t like autumn. The weather was always rainy, barely sunny.

I met him on autumn. It was a sunny day, but I felt that winter is near and it wasn’t so warm. I was in a park walking and listening to Henry’s 1-4-3 acoustic, watching the trees. I was in my thoughts when suddenly somebody bumped into me and I fell on the sidewalk. “Omg, are you okay? I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you.” The man said. I looked up and saw maybe the most handsome man I have ever seen. He was tall, handsome, his voice was so melodic, his face was so innocent, so angelic. But for no reason, he looked so familiar, but I let it go. He reached the hand to me and help me up. “That’s okay. I understand.” I said. I smile a bit and saw him staring deep into my eyes. I didn’t understand why but he started blushing. After that I noticed that he was still holding my hand. I broke the hold and started blushing too. “I….I’m re…really sorry. I was in a rush. Are you alright?” He asked me. “Yeah, I’m. You don’t have to apologize again. I understand. It was my fault either. I was listening to…” I put my hand into the pocket and noticed that my cellphone wasn’t there. “Omg!!! Did you see my phone? I think I lost it.” I said. “Oh…when? Now?” “Yeah…I think so.” “Okay. Read your number and I will call you.” He said. I read my number and after few seconds I heard my ringtone. I took my phone on the ground and turned around : ” Thank you so much. Because of you I wouldn’t know what to do.” “Oh, that’s alright. But can I ask you something?” he said. “Yeah, of course. What do you need?” “Is that Baby Don’t Cry?” “Oh, you think the ringtone? Yeah, it is. It’s my favorite song from my favorite band EXO. Do you like that song?” “Yeah, that’s my favorite, too.” he checked the time and said : “Oh, I have to go. So, have a nice day.” “Yeah, thank you. You too.” I said and saw him running away. Again, I was alone and listening to the song. After a while, I got a message. I opened it and read it : “I’m sorry that I bumped into you, again. Can I do something for you like invite you to the cafe sometimes? And my name is Joonmyun. And I am glad that you like our song.” Our song. Our song. Joonmyeon. JOONMYEON!!!!! Omg, he was SUHO!!! I was so stupid that I didn’t noticed. I let it go and I wrote a small message to him that I would like it. It changed my life. Since that day I started to love autumn. Enjoy bad weather, with him beside me.

Hi, I wrote this I had a physic. It was really boring that I got earphones in my ears and I was listening Henry’s 1-4-3. One of the sides of love (optional bias)

It is like an eternity. You just suffer and don’t know what to do. Is love really that bad? When you met him, the word “love” was something you didn’t know. It was new for you this world. But he made this world open for you. He was like a prince that came and decided you to be his princess. You accepted his offer and just let him guide. He took you to an amazing world. It was like the fairytale. You were happy and felt like you found something that you were looking for ages. He found it for you and more. He was everything that you needed. He was the sun that brightened your every day. He was the air for you to breath. He was the water that you needed to fresh up. He was everything. You didn’t know that you was in love with him. You hadn’t this feeling before. Until he left. Until he let you become the person without soul. He just broke your heart. No. It’s even worse. Even the smallest pieces you can repair. But you feel like his leaving just destroyed yoir heart. It burnt into a small pile of ash. You can’t repair the ash. The wind will easily blow it and you’ll never be the same like before. You feel like you’ll never love again. Your lover that you thought will be with you together left… he left with your love, left you soulless. But will you blame him? Will you hate him? No. You love him and you always will. Hope he just found someone better. Maybe he found his own sun. The happiness that is in his life…that is the thing that you couldn’t gave him…so maybe he is happy now.

You both were quietly reading your books, sometime telling each other something funny or some quote from your respective books. Just as you finished the chapter, you closed the book and as per your daily ritual, prayed before you slept. Junmyeon was done with his book and took off his glasses and he kept them aside with the book . He quietly laid his head in your lap and listened to you silently murmuring prayers and just thanking God for that day. He pulled your hand towards him and toyed with the 1 day old engagement ring he had put on your manicured left hand. You quietly moved your other hand through his locks as you finished off your prayers, thanking God the most for the lovely man he had sent to you. You opened your eyes to him looking at your now opened eyes intently and his face broke out into a beautiful grin. “Do you like it?” he asked gesturing to your ring. “It’s beautiful” you said. “There’s just one problem,” you said as he sat up to face you, eyes crinkling to display concern. “You’re stuck with me for life” you finished, both your faces broke into smiles.

Pre-Wedding

2 days before your wedding. You had gone back to your hometown Gwacheon to prepare for your wedding. Suho, your fiancé, was going to join you on the next day as he had a concert, right in your hometown. 

Your mother had forbidden you to see him till the wedding due to some superstitions so that meant no videocalls too.. But, your name wouldn’t be Y/n if you ever actually followed what people said..

You had convinced your cousin to come up with a story to tell your mom while you attended the concert. You had front row tickets and intended on making full use of them.

As the concert started, many other members saw you and even though you asked them to keep it a secret, it was a little hard to contain Baekhyun than Chen, Kai and Chanyeol. 10 minutes into the concert, everyone except Suho knew about you and gossiped like crazy. By the time Suho came near your area, it was Obsession time. When he saw you, he nearly forgot his lyrics and almost started choking. You winked at him as he blushed bright red and tried to keep quiet about it since you were in the audience section (you didn’t want the audience to recognize you). He mouthed a later and you knew you were breaking every promise you gave to your mom till the wedding.

Every Morning

The sunlight shone bright through the open curtains as you slowly opened your eyes and feeling strong arms wrapped around your naked body. You remembered the night before where you had just finished your tour and he was finally home from his dorm. You smiled at the memory and struggled slightly to get out of the tight embrace. You picked up your pink robe that was kept hanging for this moment and slid it on.

You reached your kitchen and started making your already prepped Bibimbap. Just as you served the plates, you felt arms wrap around you as you were overcome with warmth and affection. Suho smiled and gently kissed your neck as he said “Good morning” in his extra raspy morning voice. 

“I was gonna wait in bed for you, but I missed you too much and you just look really beautiful right now.”

*Cue intense blush*

“I’m glad you did ‘cause breakfast is ready.”

“Ah Daebak. Saranghaeyo.”

The reader is an sm stylist that has been working with exo since the beginning and later she just felt in love with Junmyeon and they started dating. YOU’RE SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL

You returned home, sweaty from your day's work and just wanting to finally go on your date. You had a good job. You worked as an SM stylist and had gotten the rare opportunity to work with EXO. There, you had hit off with the Leader nim, Suho and here we are, dating and deep in love.

You checked your phone to see if there were any messages and saw one from Suho saying "Gonna be late, sorry love. I'll make it up to you next time." That wasn't new. This was the 2nd time this had happened but you let it go, because you knew how hard he worked.

Everything went well till you say this post on your social media.

You had always been conscious about your weight, had even talked to him about it, but today was like nothing else. Your insecurities had returned and believe me, in full force.

You loved your boyfriend, handsome, kind and just the whole package. But you always questioned why he chose you. You felt like nothing compared to the other girls that crushed on your boyfriend. It was a horrible feeling, the insecurity.

You cried and wallowed and self pitied for some time as you heard a knock on the door. You heard a cheery “Surprise” as you opened the door to your boyfriend. His face immediately turned into frown as he said “Babe? What’s wrong?” He pulled you into a hug as he came inside your house.

“Hey! What’s wrong babe? Why’re you crying?”

“Why me Junmyeon? Please don’t do this out of sympathy. There’s so many better girls than me that you spend your day with. Then why me? Please leave me.”

“Hey! How dare you say that about yourself? Babe, you know I don’t care about those girls. You know you are my one and only. Please, you are my life and I can’t bear you talking about yourself like that! You’re the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life, not only from outside but even from inside. Do you know how rare that is? Do you know how precious you are?”

Your sobs lessened as you slowly smiled at his speech.

“Do you even know how much you turn me on when you wear those shorts and that sweatshirt?” he said as his eyes turned from sad to dark. “How about I show you, my love?”

Your clothes were on the floor as his lips smoothly travelled your body, making you experience the sweetest and most pleasurable feeling in the world.

“You’re so damn beautiful” he growled in your ear.

“And, the winner for the best girl group of the year goes to, Dream!”

Dream walked on stage eyes watering as Maya received their first major award. Maya being the leader, had to give a speech through all that emotion.

“Thank you so much. This is such a big honor. I would like to thank all our fans, our dreamers for this love, our staff our company and Bang PD nim, our families, our sunbaenims and I am grateful to our members who have made this happen. I am very overwhelmed and I just would like to say thank you for this wonderful year and wishes for another eventful and successful year to everyone. Thank you.”

The members did a group hug, with the oldest member wiping Maya’s eyes.

The group walked off stage as everyone congratulated them on the way. After reaching their seats, Maya excused herself to use the washroom. On the way, Maya bumped into a hard chest covered in a velvet suit. 

“Are you ok? Be careful.”

“Suho sunbaenim! I’m so sorry!”

“It’s fine, Don’t worry about it, I’m strong.” Both of you chucked at his statement.

Turning serious while keeping a smile on his face, he said “You did a really good job up there. I loved your music and I think you really deserved that award. I am glad you didn’t ugly cry like I did at my first time. Congratulations!”

“Thank you Sunbaenim.”

“Just call me Suho or Junmyeon”

I had this waiting in my drafts for the day when this will happen, junmyeon returns, junmyeon is coming back, the day is finally here

Can there be anything more sad and beautiful?

I watch from the warmth of the cafeteria as the little drops of water fall at a slow pace, as they slowly make their way after hitting or falling on the window pane.

I try to keep my mind occupied with it, I don't want to think about her, I don't want to think that I might have lost her. This may be the moment our love ends. Because even if no one accepts it, love has an end.

We will not love forever the same people and we will not suffer forever an unrequited love. Life goes on and people move on with it. No one should stay, there is no reason to stagnate.

I wanted her to move forward, to achieve great things and not to stop for me, but deep in my heart I also wanted her to wait for me and not forget me, to move forward together and happily. But I am aware that not everyone gets what they want and destiny is not always as one expects.

We went through great things, we had problems and created fights, but we managed to stay together.

But there always comes a time when it can't be like that anymore and I had to leave, I was away for a long time, too long away from her. I left her alone fighting against everything.

The hate, the media, the fans.

But I had to do it, it was not something I could decide, as a man I had to serve the nation, I had to honor our country. And I served my country wholeheartedly, even though it had stayed with her.

21 months apart

When I took my first leave, the first thing I did was to look for her, but I couldn't find her, she had left.

Mom told me that as soon as I enlisted they went after her and even though she tried to resist it was too much. It was too much for her to handle on her own.

And she went home, back to her place as they called it.

But for me her place was and is by my side.

I tried to contact her but it was impossible, without giving up I decided to give her time and space.

I sent her one last letter reminding her how much I loved her and telling her that I would wait for her as long as she needed me to. I added the address of the cafeteria along with my discharge date from military service. I had called her here because she was the first person I wanted to see as soon as I got out of the service.

That's why I was here, listening to the sound of the rain, waiting for her arrival.

To say that I was nervous was an understatement, I wished with all my being that she would appear, that she would walk through those doors and fill my life again with her light and beauty.

And there I was, at the end of that cafeteria, with a torrent of emotions invading my being. I would accept whatever happened, I would support whatever decision she made.

I couldn't take my eyes off the door and at the same time I kept them watching the bottom of the cup in my hands.

a small tinkling sound from the bell on the front door broke the warm silence of the place, informing that someone had entered the premises.

With my nerves on edge, I looked at the exact spot where a beautiful goddess was standing.

Her profile was beautiful, a foreign beauty breaking the monotony of an environment totally flooded by Korean girls, she was walking with her beautiful and big eyes around the place looking for someone, someone to take care and treasure her precious heart, and without thinking I stood up, slowly raised a hand to get her attention, in my face a smile was taking place while my eyes were flooded with tears.

She had come, she was here and now I knew it would be like this forever.

—Babe—. I called softly to her. her eyes like two arrows hit straight into mine. at that moment I just wanted to run straight into her arms, but I held back and waited while she walked towards me.

As I watched her everything around us ceased to exist, it was just me and her once again,everything stopped the moment I had her in front of me and everything went back on track as soon as I felt her crash against my chest and wrap her small hands around my waist. everything was coming back to its place.

The world seemed to shine again, after so long I had her in my arms. I let out all the air I was holding in and in that moment it was as if all my fears and worries were gone.

—I missed you so much—. Her words were a whisper that filled my heart, I had missed her so much. I hadn't noticed how much I missed her.

—Fuck, you don't know how much I missed you—. I pulled her even tighter into my arms, her frail body fit mine perfectly, we were what we needed. We were what we needed.

As a vibration went through my whole being I enjoyed her little laugh.

—Silly you're crushing me—. She laughed again and apologetically I loosened my embrace a little without letting go of her completely. I didn't want to let go again.

She sighed and placed herself in perfect alignment with my racing heart.

—Sorry, I'm so sorry—. At first I didn't understand her words, why was she apologizing? I felt her tighten her grip on my waist a little more, just as I didn't want to let go and I understood. I understood that she was apologizing for leaving.

—It's okay, you don't have to apologize, we're here now—. I backed up a step, pulling away a little but she was sticking to me again. I laughed as I denied,— Honey, it's okay. I'm not going anywhere, not again...not without you—. And it was true, I didn't want to be separated from her again. She was what I needed most and what I wanted most in life. I wouldn't let her go anywhere.

Slowly she let go of me and I was able to take her delicate face in my hands, wow she really was beautiful, it's that beauty that you can't explain but it's all you want to observe.

—I loved you, I love you so much—. Without time to react I felt her lips on mine, melting into that longed for kiss I was looking for. One of her small hands moved up the side of my face providing caresses, until she reached the back of my neck where she positioned herself with no intention of moving.

I pulled away from her once again and looked directly into her eyes, they showed me a glow of happiness that I never wanted her to lose, I caressed her cheek and smiled.

Nothing would separate us anymore, we would continue together fighting against the current. Her eyes did not leave me, she watched every move I made, making my nerves increase.

I took several steps back, took a deep breath and asked her to look me in the eyes. She nodded and gave me one of his beautiful smiles. I slowly placed one of my knees at floor level, it was now or never.

—Babe, will you marry me?—. I had with me a small rose gold ring with some hearts hugging a small white sapphire in the center. I had this ring since the day I found out she was gone, and I had treasured it for this moment, because I knew the time would come and I knew we would have our chance to be forever together.

Her eyes filled with tears and she opened her lips slightly in astonishment, she looked me straight in the eyes and knelt in front of me as close as she could while she filled my face with small kisses, she whispered words in Spanish that I couldn't understand but her face was flooded with happiness.

She pulled away from me and nodded as she repeated "yes" a thousand times.

I would make her happy and never again would she lack anything in life because I would take care of giving her everything she wanted and asked for.

—So long apart and in less than 10 minutes you have made me the happiest and luckiest girl, course I will marry you Kim Junmyeon—.

I put the ring on her and in the most tender way only she could do it she came close to my face to seal this new beginning with a kiss.
