Sir... We have a problem!

Sir... We Have A Problem!

Sung Jin-Woo X Pregnant Reader

Synopsis: The reader is going into labor, her husbands not there to take her to a hospital, and there's a thunderstorm.

Warnings: Angst to Fluffy and funny

F/n: Friends name

It all happened within a blink of an eye

You were sitting alone with your friend in your shared apartment. All laughs and giggles as the two of you watched your favorite tv comedy show as the storm raged on outside. You sat down on the side of the sofa with a bag of popcorn on top of your swollen belly as your friend sat on the side of the couch. Your F/n chattered as the raindrops hit the window. But for a moment, you thought about your husband. Even though he's the Shadow Monarch, he's still human, and sometimes...just what if...

"Y/n, You okay?" Your F/n Asked while she had food shoved in her mouth. You snapped herself back to reality. " Oh yeah, I'm fine. I just needed to think," You reassured her as she reached for the cup in front of her only to find it empty. She was going o head to the kitchen, but you stopped her. "Please allow me," You spoke softly, as she'd nearly struggled it lift herself off the couch. "No way. I'm letting my pregnant friend go and get me something to drink. Just sit back down and rest." But you had already got up from the sofa. " Hey, I'm not defenseless... just heavily pregnant." You placed your hand on your giant tummy and sighed. "Tell that to overprotective shadow husband." She added with a playful, sarcastic comment. You tapped her shoulder as she walked back to her seat. You swayed into the kitchen, humming to the music inside your head. As you were about to fill the cup, your stomach rumbled. You sighed. " It would seem you are not satisfied, little one."

This all went by so quickly. From the day you informed him you were pregnant, it was as though he fell in love with you all over again. You remember how he spun around in circles, tears of happiness in his eyes, chiming: I'm going to b a father. Even his shadows screamed with joy, mostly Beru. The fridge opened as you reached for the pack of strawberries. Before you could even grab them, a sharp pain hit your belly. Dropping the cup and shattered it on the ground. F/n shot up from the sofa and dashed into the kitchen. " Hey, what the- Oh My God!" She screamed as she instantly rushed to your side. " Baby...Baby, it's coming." Y/n groaned at another sharp pain hitting her again.

" I thought you said The baby was coming in two weeks!"

" well, the baby said now! And, I believe they get to choose-" You screamed, the contractions are really are a pain. Tears started to fall from your face. Your friend helped you from the kitchen and took you to the bedroom. The storm roared and boomed as the raindrops came heavier. F/n grunted as she placed you gently on the bed and pulled back the curtain. Seeing the heavy rainfall and twisted winds, " Damnit, there's no way in hell we'll make it to a hospital at this rate, the storm coming harder than I thought." She covered the window, " It looks like we're gonna need some assistance," She sighed as she took off her button, short sleeve shirt, revealing the black tank top. You took deep breaths to not think about the pain. But every time you did, it shot back at you like lightning.

"There is...one way," You added as your friends helped you sit up on the pile of pillows she set behind you.

"Come out."

The shadow moved from under you, forming one of the high orcs your husband placed in your shadow before you left. He stared at you with very uneasy and worried eyes, staring at you confused. You tried your best to clarify the situation. " Look…right now… I'm going into labor…" You whined, " Tell your master to…come home now…If he's in the middle of fighting the boss…W0ooo…." You sucked your bottom lip as the pain worsens." Alright, I have an idea." F/n exclaimed as she grabbed three knuckle braces and positioned herself on a nearby wall. F/n made circular motions as the glowing portal opened from the wall. " Just…please, yell at him to get his attention if…you must…Now Go!" He nodded and submerged into the darkness. The portal closed after Jin-ah and her mother stepped through. F/n clarified the circumstances.

"Ready yourselves, ladies. It is going to be a long night." A strike of lightning reflected across the grey atmosphere.

-------------------------------------------

The shadow soldier reemerged from out of the shadows in the dungeon. To see his king and the rest of the soldiers finishing off the monsters. HE puffed his chest as he took a deep inhale. And shouted echoing throughout the dungeon.

"THE QUEEN'S IN LABOR!"

Everyone went silent for about 10 seconds before yelling back.

" WHAT!?!?"

Jinwoo was now forming with questions while shaking his soldier like a maraca. " Is she okay?" the baby okay?" " Are My Babies okay?!"

" Yes...but no. The Queen is in a lot of pain."

" Have the contractions started yet?!" Jin-ho added in a panicking tone. He looked at him blankly with bug eyes and scratched the back of his bald head, " What are contractions?" Before Jin-ho could answer, Jinwoo stormed out of the dungeon on Kaisel, leaving some shadow soldiers to help take the monster's corpses away from the dungeon.

-----------------------------------------------

Jinwoo arrived safely at his home, drenched and completely soaked while he almost busted the door open. " Y/N-ah?" He called out, and you screamed in reply. It's coming from the bedroom. HE rushed to the bedroom with fear in his eyes. Please be okay, please be okay. The door flew open as he stormed in. Only to be taken aback by a new sound of cries. You were, lying in bed, exhausted, with your little newborns cradled on either side of her chest. You hold back a few tears seeing your new beautiful girls. One had your hair and her father's eyes while the other looked exactly like her father.

He dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his cheeks. They're beautiful, he thought as he walked toward you. And his new family in her arms. He is officially a father now. He gently held on to the little girls in his arms. And he spoke so softly it felt like a whisper, " Hi, sweetheart, it's daddy talking to you. He waited long for you and your sister to be here." He kneeled down to your level and placed a loving kiss on your forehead, " Thank you, love, you made me even happier since I've met you."

"And I thank you for being such a devoted husband and partner." You said as he grazed your cheek with a kind smile. " You know, I wasn't expecting we have twins." He added.

You nodded, playfully poking his nose, "But now we have double the attention, don't you think?" He quietly chuckled at your response. " That we do."

" Heyy, not to ruin the mood but can I hold one of my nieces now?! I did help out!" JIn-ah quietly shouted while she leaned into her brother's ear.

A/n: Should I do part 2? Just for fun? Also, I accidentally deleted your king awaits post and now I can't remember how it go! :(

Snippet for part 2 of Sir... we have a problem!

" You think... that you can oversee our daughters for a full day without difficulties?" You arched your eyebrow in amusement as your husband held one of your 5-month-old daughters in his arm. Gently jumping her as she was studying her father's hair, yanking the strand as she babbled while the other one was playing with one of his shadow soldiers' infirmary group. The other twin, laughed and giggled as the shadow mage tickled her tiny belly. Your hubby nodded.

" Yea, and as their father, I'm willing to take the entire day spending with my precious little cuties." Your husband spoke with a fair and appealing voice as he brought his kid up to his face and rubbed it against hers while he gave you puppy dog eyes.

You sighed since your husband has always been busy with dungeon raids, and he did as though he hasn't been spending time with his own children, so your husband thought it would be okay for you to take a day off while he watched the twins.

"Okay, let's make a deal: If you can follow this list for the whole day, I'll let you watch them for next week and give you a special treat for your job well done." You emphasized the 'special treat' part. As you walked up to your husband, placing your head on his chest and hiking your leg on his hips.

He gives a teasing 'oh' "And what happens if I don't?" Giving you a signature smirk.

" No cuddles for two weeks." You teasingly commented. Knowing he will have no choice but to win this deal.

Double Trouble

Sung Jin-Woo x Fem Reader

Synopsis: Sung Jin-woo being left alone with the twins' for 24 hours

Warnings: fluff and shadow shenanigans, also Karmish is in this

Part 2 of Sir... We have a problem

It began off as an uncomplicated wager

He gawked at you, arranging a hand on his chest. " You wouldn't- discharge me from my cuddling rights?" " I can, and I will. If you can follow the list from first to last."

One of the twins babbled as one of the magic shadow soldiers made small colorful fireworks out of their hands. She cooed in awe, and Iron stood holding the child in his lap, sitting down. His eyes sparkled with fascination. " Yeah... I got this." Jinwoo said with confidence as he helped you with your purse. You opened the door before your husband stopped you, " Aren't you forgetting something?" He said with a cheeky, teasing smile on his face. You sighed as you turned around in one place and gave a short passionate kiss, " Be good for your mama and dada, my little sapphires." You whispered to your baby and gave her a soft peck on the cheek. The door closed behind her, Jinwoo carried your daughter in the air, and she laughed happily. " You and sister ready to have some fun? Yeah?" He chattered as the list he was supposed to follow dropped on the ground.

Double Trouble

The sky was as pure as day fluffy clouds covered the atmosphere, birds chirping like a song in a choir, not even a while three peaceful minutes later a giant shadow cast upon the poor little bird as a gust ignited wind blew it out of the the way with a confused squeak as it took a spiral. The sounds of laughter and cheers can he heard for miles as Karmish flew at full speed along with Beru making sure that morning one of them fall off the dragon’s back. Jinwoo held his daughters tightly as he had the best smile on his face.

“ yeah it’s fun isn’t it?” He said yelling happily . One of the little girls babbled as she pointed to the ocean. “Wanna go down there?” He cooed. The other one gave a big nod of determination. “ You heard them, to the ocean!” He ordered.

“As you wish, my king.”

He dived to the opened water head first, then gliding on top of it, as the water was split into nearly two. They cheered as the dragon was soaring above the water, his claws digging in it.

The girls cooed in awe as they saw their reflection in the waves. Beru asked with the most concern on his face, “ are you sure this is wise my king?” “. Of course I am! Look how happy they are!” He replied as he looked down at his daughters having the time of their lives. Unknown to them, a local fisherman recorded the entire thing since they entered.

The night fell on the horizon, and a small picnic blanket lay on the grassy floor as the pink and blue hues painted the sky along with the glittery stars. His daughters, Beru and Igris, played as he watched from afar. A gentle smile spread across his face. Any average child would’ve run away scared, but compared to his children, it’s completely normal. He’ll thank his wife for passing their boldness and compassion. The phone rang as he reached for his phone in the coat pocket and answered it. “Hello?”

“Hello, my shadow hubby.”

He stuttered in confusion. "Oh, H-H-Hi babe, uh...”

“So... I coming back from my raid in the U.S. it ended early.”

He felt his eyes dilate in fear. Ah, shit. He swallowed thickly, “so, what time do you have to be home?." "In the next 40 minutes or so-" He hunged up within an instant. Crap! she got off early. I gotta head back now. He called his servants and gave them an order: pack the stuff and head home quickly.

The car door opened as you walked out with a small suitcase in hand, you waved the driver goodbye and headed inside, not knowing about the shadow that flew above you, the keys jangled as you were about to unlock the door. Bur the door unlock itself, a welcoming smile on the shadow's soldiers face as he bowed, " Welcome Home my queen." You nodded in agreement. " It's good to be home, now where is your king and my children?," you asked as he grabbed the bag from your hand.

"They're waiting for you in the living room, my queen." He answered. He guided you to your shared living room. You can hear tiny giggles and babbles as you trod down the hallway. Your daughters were sitting against Tank's belly as the magic team showed off their new spells. Your husband sat on the couch and enjoyed the show. He followed to see you standing in the hallway with the softest smile on her face. He got up and greet you warmly, " Hey babe, how's the trip?' He kissed you on the cheek. " Everything was fine, my husband, how were the twins? Did they behave?" He nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. " Oh-Oh yeah! they were great, nothing out of the ordinary." Your arched your brow, something is going on. Before you could answer your phone rang. " Oh hold up a sec..." You opened your phone and saw a video that was posted a couple hours ago: The Giant Black Dragon Kipnapped Three people including two newborn twins.

“Love isn’t soft like those poets say. Love has teeth which bite and the wounds never close.” ― Stephen King, The Body

A/n: This will be about two or three chapters long, so grab some coffee, a blanket, and a couple of tissues, make that a couple boxes of tissue

Chapter 1: The Beginning and End

You will never feel pain again. You'll never feel hurt or suffering. You… will never experience betrayal… for now it was the last time… the last straw.

The Strom fumed in spikes of crimson and light-blue lighting. The chaos of thunderstorms rumbled the sky, buildings of merged flesh and bone carved into each like a deathly art, screams were heard for miles, screeching of the bats not living nor dead. As their dark sparks waved into the night. You stood, outside of your castle, watching the depths below, your body shrouded in mystery and despair. Your veil flew with the wind, eyes cold-hearted, broken no more, vengeance craving for suffering. Skin darker than a shade of navy blue. The might of the doors opened slowly, and a black substance moved within. It was quick and swift. Faster than the human eyes can catch.

It soon emerged with its fingertips skimming fingertips. Its purple hood covered its top face. He spoke in a canny yet diabolical fashion. "My Empress... the time has come," It said, As it played with its fingertips rhythmically. You turned to look at your advisor, your eyes sharpened, lowly. " Already?" You asked in a heartache and pitied tone. " I'm afraid yes, a newcomer has been seen in the human world, young and frail as he is, yet more fearful than the rest." The hand movement swayed and urged as his words, Walked away from the highland view. past your blackened throne so lonely and purposeless. Your advisor walked with you down the very, elongated hallway. Your soldiers lined up and bowed to you. "They're the same as always, Urmas."

"They live to benefit you, my beloved empress, as they will always be." He replied in assurance. The two walked for what seemed like a while and reached the end of the hallway. You stopped. Urmas stopped with you. His expression spread with little concern for his queen. " Is there something the matter, my sovereign?" You still stood there staring blankly at the door. " I-I- feel like I've been here before."

Urmas Cleared his throat. " Can you recall, my sovereign?" You shook your head, " I don't know, but yet at the same time, it feels as though." You turned to your advisor, offering your hand to him. Urmas instantly clutched it and held it to his hand. You beamed maliciously, teeth in all, "let's go raise bloodstained nightmare on humanity and make a world for my own." He smiled back." As you wish, my sovereign." The doors opened to a giant glass sphere, spiraling out of different stirs and harmonies. The two of you walked hand in hand. As you got closer to your glass sphere, lightly grazing the outer layer. Urmas walked on the other side of the figure.

The sphere's outer layer moved fluidly, liquifying. Your hand sunk into the glass sphere. Your eyes dilated, turning into a purplish pink. Your vision became severed as you gaze upon the human world into the brightness of the city. Your eyes searched and looked unnoticed. Til you found a little boy with glasses wandering down a dark alley. Frightened and alone, tight where you wanted him.

You planted his fear into his mind, it took only mere moments before he was nothing more than paste. And a small portal of flesh emerged from the brick wall, pulsating quietly like a heartbeat for an ear to listen. His body remained dismembered and fractured. His eyes plucked out of their sockets. Your eyes blurred again, returning to normalcy. With a sigh of satisfaction, you removed your hand from the sphere. Urmas clapped his hands in applause. " Another astounding work my sovereign," He feted. You walked away from the sphere and headed towards the door. You tumbled to the floor, holding both sides of your head, Your head began to hurt. Screaming in pain as your advisor tried to assist you. Your vision contradicted with light, a picnic on the hill, a man standing next to you with a loving gaze, his hand reaching out to you, calling to you…

You gasped as you raised your head. Your body trembling, your advisor slowly got you back on your feet. "My empress, are you all right?" He questioned. You sighed, bobbing your head left and right. " I-I'm fine... I just, need to rest my eyes."

*Back on Earth*

One of his shadow soldiers, sat on top of a nearby building, looking down upon its people and others. The shadow sighed in questionable purpose. It's been the fifth time this past year. The visions He saw, his queen in danger, screaming and sobbing for help, it's like an unending loop. Constantly, she was reaching out to him, calling to him...

His master emerged from the wall, Beru and Igris followed soon after, and his black coast got longer and ragged. He stopped at the edge. Sung turned his gaze toward his summon. " Is there a reason why you're not doing your patrol?" The soldier got up and kneeled before his master. " Forgive me, my king... but it feels like something has been bothering me." He didn't even bother looking upon his master. Thinking he will not believe him." And what has been bothering you?" Sung asked. He collected himself and explained clearly and carefully, not to anger him, " Lately, since the past year, I have been seeing visions... visions that I wish I could ignore, but it just couldn't." Sung knelt to his soldier's eyes. " Look at me, and tell me what you saw." The shadow soldier took a deep breath and looked dead into his king's eyes. " I saw... a woman in white, she was surrounded by black waters, she was slowly drowning, but no end. I was going to save her, but she started to cry, sobbing, calling out your name, and others. She turned to look at me, her face was recognizable... my king... I believe... that our queen is alive and needs your help."

Sung's eyes slowly widened, and he can feel his heart wailing out of his chest. She can't be... he watched her... if she is then why...

Beru and Igris can feel the energy around him growing. With his body trembling, he gripped his soldier's shoulders. " Are you... you 100 certain that's..." He nodded in response. Sung can feel his whole world collapse around him. You were alive, alive and alone, scared. " Did you anything else from your visions? Or where she could be? Did she tell you where to find her?" He started asking a million questions. But his soldier only gave him one and a solution. " She said to locate the portal where no man or light can find. The opposite of all worlds... Find the seer. And that's all I can remember."

The search for the seer begins.

Part 2 in the making👍

Farewell, My Dearest Jinwoo.

Farewell, My Dearest Jinwoo.

Summary: Jinwoo was ready to confess to Y/N until they had been called on an emergency. Jinwoo waits for Y/N to return until he gets a visit from them in a dreamlike state.

Themes: angst, character death (I'm not really sure what else to add 🤔)

My first ever attempts in writing for gender neutral, so go easy on me! Let me know what you think.

I wasn't able to go fully in depth with this one as this was just a rough idea that I wanted to note down before I forgot it. But I'm happy for someone to use it as inspiration for theirs as long as you ask for permission.

● E rank hunter Sung Jinwoo was ready to confess his feelings to Y/N. He had fallen for them when they had saved Jinwoo during a dungeon raid.

● On the day he approached Y/N at her house, he wasn't expecting them to open the door wearing their gear. Jinwoo knew that Y/N doesn't do dungeon raids on a Thursday.

● Y/N told him that KHA called them on an emergency and needed them as they were the only C rank available.

"What is it you wanted to talk about, Jinwoo?" Y/N asked cornered. "Was it something important?

Yes! It something ive been wanting to tell you, for a very long time

"It's nothing...I'll wait to tell you when you come back," Jinwoo.

Y/N gave Jinwoo a hug. "I promise, when I return, I will listen to what you have to say."

● It's been a few days since Y/N left for a dungeon raid and hasn't returned. He has been afraid that something bad has happened to Y/N. But he hopes that Y/N He wondered if he should have stopped Y/N from going and confessing to them right there

● Jinwoo opens his eyes and notices that he is in a grassy field. He noticed a figure in the distance and recognised that it was his crush, Y/N. What were they doing here in his dream?

● Y/N walked towards Jinwoo and stopped keeping a few meters between them. They had a smile on their face.

"This looks beautiful. I hope I can take somewhere like this Y/N one day"

"I wish I could join you, Jinwoo..." Y/N says disheartened.

"What do you mean?"

"I broke my promise to you...I'm sorry Jinwoo."

"I don't understand..."

"I won't be coming home this time. Farewell, my dearest Jinwoo."

● Jinwoo woke up from that dream distraught, hoping it would stay as a dream. Until he opened the door and wasn't greeted by Y/N's smile, it was Y/N's raid leader who was at the door. The raid leader informed Jinwoo that Y/N died protecting their comrades. Y/N requested that Jinwoo receives this letter.

To my dearest Jinwoo,

If you have received this letter, it means I wasn't able to return safely and therefore I have passed.

There was something I've been wanting to tell from when I first met you as I saved you from that goblin.

I enjoy the times we spent together in dungeons and outside of doing raids together. I just wish we could spend one last time together where we could laugh and enjoy things like young adults should be.

I like you

No. I love you, Sung Jinwoo.

I love you with all my heart.

I wish I could have told you these words sooner to you in person, but this will have to do.

Please remember that when all hope is lost and you can't go on, know that I will be with you always to look out for you.

Farewell, my dearest Jinwoo.

With love from Y/N L/N.

● As Jinwoo read the letter, he could feel a wave of emotions. The overwhelming guilt, regret, anger, and saddness. He should have followed his gut instinct, made you stay with him in his arms. All he has now is your final goodbyes written on a letter in his hands.

Okay but imagine if Sung Jinwoo's entire family awakened... Jin-ah could be a tank or fighter, his mom could be a healer and if his dad had come back then they'd be the first ever Hunter family...

Unlikely but still the image of the entire Sung family rolling up to kick ass refuses to leave my head.

HERE WE GO

Sung Jin Ah awakens during the Red Gate incident. Her frustration from not being able to stop her brother from going on raids boils over because 1) This is a RED Gate 2) Han Song Yi is with him, who has no raid experience whatsoever and 3) Jin Woo is definitely hiding something, and that's seems to be causing trouble for him.

When Jin Woo gets home he finds the place trashed with a very confused and very worried Jin Ah in the middle of it. He also feels the magic energy now emitting from his sister and realize she just awakened and is at least a B rank.

A very long conversation immediately follows while his shadows clean up. There is arguing, shouting, and an explosion of pent up emotions from both of them.

Jin Woo does not want his sister to be a Hunter. She is a minor who should be focusing on school and living her best life. He refused to put her in dangerous situations of any kind.

Jin Ah is tired of her brother keeping things from her. Things that put him and other in dangers. She knows he wouldn't do anything without a plan, so she knows he had a plan when he was entering that gate. But still, that isn't something he would've done before the Double Dungeon Incident.

They come to the comprise that Jin Woo would train Jin Ah until she was an adult, and could make the decision to attend medical school or become a Hunter.

He puts her against some Shadow Soldiers

Imagine his surprise when she absolutely decimates then.

Definitely not a B-Rank

He tries Ice Bears and gets the same result.

Finally, after much deliberation, he summons Igris.

It's a draw.

Purely because Jin Ah has no combat experience.

Jin Woo also realizes that she specializes in defense like a Tank, but has projectiles like a Ranger.

Her shield is unique. It absorbs magic energy from her opponent to strengthen itself, even if said opponent is stronger than her.

They wait to get her exact rank evaluated until they better understand what her skills are.

Now for his Mom.

She ends up awakening as a side-effect of the Holy Water of Life. Jin Woo and Jin Ah were sparring and came back injured, Kyung-Hye was very worried in that special motherly way when they started glowing green and all their injuries vanished.

Jin Ah starts congratulating her mom while Jin Woo just stands there in a mild daze because now his whole family is awakened. He needs to sit down.

Explain everything that happened, and she pushes for getting their rank evaluated so they can understand the length of their abilities and insure their safety.

He reluctantly agreed.

Thus Korea's 11th S-Rank is found along with a highest tier A-Rank Healer. But the news is only leaked to a select few people considering who the two are.

Jin Ah ends up with an internship with the Hunter's Association with her Mom being a member of their reserve support team.

Fun fact they discovered, Kyung-Hye can put long-term buffs, and debuffs, into food.

They are also now considered VVIPS by the Association and are under tight security.

Word does eventually get out and Sung Il-Hwan all but books it to Korea to protect his family.

His arrival brings a whole slew of problems though.

Between the Monarchs and America claiming he's a monster there are a lot of people now targeting the Sung family.

But every single one of them is ready to fight tooth and nail to protect their family. They were split up once, never again.

Rip Monarchs btw. You pissed off the wrong family.

Sung Jinwoo X Terminally Ill Reader

╰┈➤ ❝ [ We'll Try This Again, Begin Again with Zero. But This Time? I'm Never Letting You Go. ] ¡! ❞

Living felt more like a punishment more than anything. The pain he goes through starts feeling more and more deserving in his eyes. He was pushing himself to the limits when he shouldn't, he's punishing himself over a sin that wasn't really his fault.

But if anyone tells him that, he wouldn't look back at them. He would ignore their concerns.

He has a duty to uphold anyway, a duty that only he can do as a monarch.

Jinwoo has ultimately grown to be a vessel of war thanks to the system.

He didn't really care much, he already placed insurance to his name if anything happens to him.

When he's gone, his remaining family would atleast live off of something.

He has already watched his father die too thanks to the godforsaken monarchs.

What more can he loose?

Over and over again, he puts himself in the battlefield, exhausting himself on purpose, never even sleeping nor eating.

He was just fighting like a dog.

Well, dog's get much more care than what he does to himself, so does it really count?

It doesn't matte,r Jinwoo physically cannot be exhausted.

But mentally? It's a different story.

He wasn't really depressed, at least, that's what he tells himself.

He really felt numb, not exactly sad, not exactly happy either. It's as if his emotions lie in the middle.

Jinwoo felt hollow, completely hollow.

As if he were merely nothing more than a puppet in war.

The only thing that really urges him to move forward is the distant sound of his beloved's voice in the back of his head.

And soon, after he had finally murdered the Monarch of Destruction— He would be granted a wish.

Battered and tired while on the floor, he thought of what he could possibly ask from the rulers.

Thought of?

No, Jinwoo already knew what he wanted.

It was to turn back time.

To meet old friends again, to stop the gates from opening, to have his family whole again

,... To meet you again.

Yes. That's right. All of this was for you anyway.

Jinwoo recalls that memory very clearly, how you were still in the hospital bed and you two were playing a game of cards while he tells you about how he plans to be a hunter soon.

Your words were quite cute really: "I hope Woowoo becomes a really strong man!"

Those silly, innocent words of yours.

Up to this day, he still smiles lovingly whenever he remembers that.

He became this strong not just for himself and his family who needs him, but for you, the brave little soul who endured that illness—

Jinwoo fought for you

And since he is given the opportunity to correct the past, he requiested for time to be rewinded.

Right then and there, a brilliant flash of white would engulf the earth, bathing it in all it's glory. eradicating all traces of the lifeforms and shadows there is to this pathetic universe. For once in a million years, the earth was beautiful again. It looked like a star gleaming along with countless others.

Soon, Jinwoo would wake up to the sound of his baby sister's calling. Jinwoo would sit up, gently smiling at her.

It took a while for everything to sink in, for everything for him to realize that this? All of this was reality.

How badly he wanted to find you in the time he spent, for just a few weeks, he enjoyed being a child again.

Laughing with friends, screaming at others for a vanguard or healer in the pc cafe— He wanted to find you in an instant. But not right now.

He took care of some stuff first.

Your illness wont awaken until then after all.

27 years, he spent time in that goddamn dimensional crack fighting monarchs and all that crap.

When he was done, he finally came home.

Just as he set foot back in earth again, he went straight to the hospital.

April 9th of spring, where the pink petals bloomed and flew around the air— This beautiful but tragic day.

Was the first time you had collapsed and coughed out blood.

It started with your lungs, to your kidneys, to your heart, to everywhere.

You had metastatic cancer.

Coughing up blood was only the start.

And Jinwoo had come home just in time.

He didn't even ask for directions, he just went straight to your hospital room.

He knew this godforsaken place better than the doctors and nurses himself after all.

As he pried open the door, there you were, resting on the bed staring absentmindedly at the pink trees outside your window. When yopu heard the sound of the door, you turned your attention to Jinwoo.

Dazzling and innocent eyes, just as he remembers. Your youthful face, free of any sign of wrinkles. Still chubby and plump that he wanted to just kiss your cheeks all over.

As you called out his name, Jinwoo marched over and embraced you tightly.

"I'm sorry, it took me a while" Jinwoo whispers ever so lovingly as he rubs the b ack of your head affectionately.

You were confused at first, wondering why your best friend is acting all cuddly and sappy when he totally did not disappear off of the face of the earth and come out of nowhere like some sort of boogey man. But regardless, you can't help but notice the traces of tears about to break from lovely grey eyes.

When you reached over to touch his face, his voice broke and he started crying almost instantly.

Panicked and confused, you pulled him to a tight hug.

Jinwoo was crying, and in his tears and broken voice you could hear the amount of anguish he had been bottling up, the brokenness in his heart finally being revealed in the open for you to hear and see. It felt as if Jinwoo was carrying a hundred years worth of burden. And you could do nothing more than to soothe him.

"I'm sorry... Ditching you out of nowhere and acting like a sappy pup wo got kicked" He chokes as he chuckles gently, "I promise, promise, that I won't leave you like that anymore. Just trust me, okay? Here, drink this."

He hands you a weird fantasy-potion thing with red liquid inside. You wanted to deny him of it but Jinwoo stubbornly insisted upon it, as if your life depended on it.

Well, tehnically speaking, it did depended on that potion.

After making sure you gulped down every single drop of the crimson liquid, Jinwoo pressed his forehead against yours.

Mumbling ever so sweetly; "Let's do this again, okay? You and me, goofing around. I'll let you eat as much sweets as you like, I'll show a lot of pretty things. Don't worry about anything else, Woowoo will take care of it."

Somehow, you felt that Jinwoo meant that on a deeper level. You felt like right now, what in front of you wasn't just anyone else, but someone ready to lay down their life for your sake. The person in front of you, you felt as if he was going to follow you to the ends of the earth to the stars above your heads. Somehow, it feels as if his words was a promise that he would follow you wherever you go.

He already lost you once, damned will he be if that happens again.

If Sung Jin Woo was a persona, his elemental affinity would be curse and almighty ( curse is shadow but named differently, and he gives off the white-blueish glow that almighty tends to be portrayed in the Persona games)

Ldkfköanfnxlsnkd Thank you for the fast answer! And yes! And i could be even better if he somehow ended up moving in with them (becouse the kids don't wanna move) and then the Jinwoo Awakens and then the chaod really starts XD

Okay forst inlove all of your au ideas! Second i have another on XD Baek yoon ho was firefighter as we know as was Jin woos Father.... now imagen after Jin woos Mother falls into Eternal Sleeping sickness Baek somehow got wind of it (did know Jin woos father but fell out of touch maby?) And is like "my little siblings now".

Thank you so much! Aw, I love that idea—

Baek Yoon-ho looking after Jin-woo, as well as checking up on him once in a while, and Jin-ah, whom he occasionally picks up from school. He also brings them grocery and visits Park Kyung-hye on his free time. At this point, he's practically the "honorable Sung" since he knew Il-hwan before and might've been indebted to him in the past.

I want to talk about Solo Leveling (MY OPINION)

There was another post before this one, but I deleted it, and made a longer version with more explanations.

Warning: Long article (sorry)

I'm writing this in a very upset state, and I was angry moments ago, so please don't blame me (not that I really care, but I don't really want to see arguments in the comments either). This is my own opinion, and so does everyone else, I want to clarify my point of view. If you don't care, then just skip this post.

(At least I won't curse so much)

#English isn't my mother tongue#

First of all, let's talk about, how did I get to know the manhwa Solo Leveling?

A few years ago, when I was in the tenth grade, during quarantine, I was spending a lot of time on the phone, and in one of my friend’s posts, I saw pictures from that manhwa. Of course, I ignored it at first, and therefore I was not a fan of Korean culture, but a lot of posts started talking about it, so I decided to ask my friend.

And so I started reading that manhwa. Of course my first impression of her was good. It was fun, and I was curious about it, especially about the system and the secret behind it. I liked the idea of monsters, dungeons, and hunters. I liked Ju-hee a lot, and Woo Jin-chul as well, but I didn't really care for Jin-woo. I mean, he was okey. After I decided that I liked it, I decided to continue reading it.

Over time, I started to get a little bored, since they always only showed Jin-woo, and more importantly, never cared about the other characters (Yeah, it's SOLO Leveling, and it should be only about Jin-woo, like many other fans say. But, why did you dear author made the side characters so interesting?!), and also, Jin-woo started acting a little condescending and arrogant on several occasions just because he gained power. (Do all Koreans only get serious when they get something special?)

The development of the story over time became somewhat boring, and I slowly began to understand that this manhwa might not be my type, but I decided to be patient a little, and see what happens. And here, BOOM!! Korea hates Japanese hunters, and makes them bad people. Well, not that I'm complaining about this much, I mean, what do you expect from a country that hates another country?

Min Byung-gyu died, and that was so disappointing. He didn't even have enough scenes. And I was so sad about it.

And of course Jin-woo was the best and the badass, the greatest the PerFect and-!!!

Yeah, that's what I've been always reading in comments. What about Baek Yoon-ho? Choi Jong-in? Lim Tea-gyu and Min Byung-gyu??

No, it's Korea, and Jin-woo should be the only person on the screen.. 🤷‍♀️

Regardless of all this, and with the hope that I might see Baek Yoon-ho and Woo Jin-chul again, I decided to read the light novel, after the first season was finished.

Believe it or not, I almost cried because this novel disappointed me so much, in the story and in the characters. I also have been waiting Jin-woo's and Ju-hee's dinner.. but it didn't happen. 😪

And that made me start to hate Cha Hae-in so much.

First, she wasn't as helpful for Jin-woo as Ju-hee was. Second, she just appeared suddenly, and became the best girl in the manhwa all of a sudden, and everybody just speaks about her in comments, along with Jin-woo. She suddenly became the best in everything, despite that we never saw how did she actually win a true battle against monsters. She only got defeated, and always needed someone to save her. But Ju-hee despite that she was kinda weak and scared as hell, she followed Jin-woo in dungeons just to take care of him. And now, only because it's "true love", he loved Cha and not Ju-hee. Really? Is that the only explanation you guys have? If you saw a drunk old man in the street, will you love him because it's "true love"? Oh wait, Jin-woo wasn't drunk, he had a good smell. Yeah, Cha liked him only because of his smell, and when Ju-hee cared about him and liked him (she asked him to take her out for a dinner), it was nothing. It's not true love.

Wow! You guys are so intelligent! I really respect you all!

I had no reason or motivation left to complete the manhwa. Characters and art style. ONLY!!!

Finally, the manhwa ended and I felt relieved that I would never have to read this Korean trash again (Sorry, Solo fans, but you curse worse than me. Bear with me, sensitive people, please~)

I didn't really regret reading this manhwa, because I liked some aspects of it, the most important of which were the characters. What bothered me a little was that they completely forgot about the other characters. At least in the first season there were more shots of the side characters.

Now, let's move on to the main point.

Why do I hate Solo Leveling, or rather, why did I start to hate it this much?

First of all, the way Solo fans compared it with jjk.

I'm sooo sorry, dear Solo fans, but everyone knows that Jjk is better than solo in many aspects (I don't say most people hate solo, I'm just saying most of people prefer jjk)

Firstly, the plot of Jujutsu Kaisen is more interesting than Solo Leveling plot. Yes, many haters may say that Jujutsu Kaisen ideas are borrowed from other anime and plots, and it has nothing new. Excuse me, my dear, don't you see that Solo is full of borrowed ideas more than Jujutsu Kaisen? Titans? Hunters? Ranks and game system? Also, even though the plot of Jujutsu may seem a little copied, it's not to an obvious degree like Solo.

Not to mention that Jjk's characters are tens and hundreds of times better than Solo's. God, I'm really sorry that I wiped your dignity on the ground, Jin-woo's husband or wife, Gojo is really weak in front of the great, handsome, perfect, invincible master that all the girls love. Gojo is a weak trash, who is worth nothing in front of everyone's favorite Korean badass, and no one has the right to protest, I'm so soOorrRRRry!!~

Now let us move on to dear fans who started comparing the LOseR Gojo and our great, ideal King Jin-woo, instead of comparing him to Sukuna, who is considered the strongest in the series. Dear, are you jealous that Gojo is more popular than your Jin-woo? If you want to seem like the person who compares the characters according to the strongest from each series, I advise you to think of a smarter trick next time, because the strongest here is Sukuna, not Gojo. Don't worry, no one will hate you if you express your opinion respectfully and say that you hate Gojo.

SPOILER

I never deny that jujutsu has flaws, especially the events after Gojo's fight against Sukuna, and the way in which Sukuna lost, without us seeing him at his full strength.

End of spoiler :)

But please, do not compare a simple Korean work to this great work. Solo Leveling is not bad, it has its flaws just like jjk does, but jjk is obviously more popular and better than Solo in many ways.

Okay, it's alright to prefer something more than the other, but why the insult? Why this much of hatred? If you don't like something, please, stop reading it or watching it, just leave. I hated Solo, but I never insulted it before in front of other fans who like it so much, because I would never want the same for me, for the work I love, but when you guys insult something I love, I feel the urge to insult what you prefer. You can say you hate something, it's not wrong, but without insulting, please.

Solo Leveling has a simple plot (although I want to say it's fucking trash, but ok), not to mention that it left out a lot of interesting characters. And excluding Ju-hee is the worst skip, just for the sake of a ***** who loves our perfect Jin-woo's smell. (I'm sorry, Cha fans, I couldn't take it anymore. I'm so sorry. No, really, I'm sorry. I'm following someone who loves Cha, and I don't want him to get angry, But I really want to say this more).

SORRY, SORRY, SORRY MY FRIENDS WHO LIKE SOLO, I'M SORRY.. 🙁🙁🙁

In general, everyone has his own opinion, and I respect every person's opinion, but I do not and would never respect insulting and cursing. I really had enough of people who curse Jjk, because I like jjk so much, despite that I was really really really disappointed by the end of Shinjuku arc. But it does NOT make solo better in any way. I don't care what others would say, but I'll never take my words back. I hate solo, I hate Cha Hae-in especially. I don't care about people who say Jin-woo is definitely stronger than Gojo (I know he is, but what would you expect from a korean work? It always makes every hero too special, overrated, and invincible. It's not even exciting, even a bit. There's no a normal logic in korean manhwa, the hero should be always the best, and others are trash.) 🤷‍♀️

But, making Jin-woo stronger than Gojo doesn't mean Gojo is worse. Gojo is the best, and Jjk is the best, no matter how much you adore your Jin-woo.

Fans are one of the main reasons why did I start to hate Solo Leveling, Jin-woo, and Cha Hae-in.

I talked too much..

I warned you, but again..

I'm sorry :)
