My name’s Katie, I’m 25 and live in England.
My main blog is @jegulusposts but I wanted to make a separate one dedicated to our lord and saviour Taylor Alison Swift.
I’ve been a fan since Red was released in 2012, when I finally began to appreciate her lyrical genius and poetry.
2023 was a really difficult year for me but it was made slightly better by watching livestreams of The Eras Tour and excitedly waiting for re-releases (Rep TV where are you?) and I’ll never be able to thank Taylor enough for being a bright spot in the darkness.
I was lucky enough to attend The Eras Tour in Liverpool on Night 2.
But anyway, here’s to Mother 🥂

I think I agree with a few actually

VMA's
VMA's are in two days, and I cannot wait. Don't think she will do anything but I am so excited
I finished the first four albums
I forgot to post so here are my thoughts:
debut was great, a lot of songs I had never heard and I found a lot of bangers (favorite was picture to burn)
fearless was good, it had some high highs and low lows, I listened to most of it at the end of a long roadtrip so I was grumpy and my ratings dipped (favorite was the way I loved you)
speak now was amazing, nearly everything got an 8 (which is basically the highest in my ranking system) and I have declared it my favorite at this moment. (My favorite stayed electric touch (also is maybe my favorite song overall???))
red was a fever dream in the best way, I listened to it in one day in one sitting so my mind was messed up by the end. I had to a it in silence for minutes after to process everything. I haven’t decided my favorite yet (probably red, holy ground, or the moment I knew)

Having officially listened to just over half of Taylor swift’s discography at this point i have a few things to say
Current top songs are: Electric touch from speak now, and the way I loved you from fearless
I liked debut, fearless, and red more than I thought I would
I liked speak now and 1989 exactly as much as I thought
and I liked reputation less than I expected
I’m a few songs into lover and currently having a ball listening to it
despite the fact that speak now is my favorite album I keep forgetting it exists
