Something something about both getting trapped in places called The Nest where children are held and used for wicked and unsavory purposes, escaping by meeting/befriending another child/prisoner only to have them meet a tragic fate that makes your freedom possible.
Also both being ridiculously good at parkour, and clambering around in ruins barefoot.
The Last Guardian One of the most frustrating games ever, but also one of the most beautiful.
This is one of those games that is One Of My Top Favourites Of All Time— I wanted it so bad and still haven't bought it, but the atmosphere and creature design and, well, everything, pushed me far along the path to embracing my love of art, fantasy, and biology. I still remember how insanely lifelike Trico's movement patterns were in those gameplay videos. Sometimes I still look for written fanworks in desperation for an extended universe. One day I'll really have to play it, but for now I get to reminisce over it because of this great art (:
