this is my first time drawing willow so i hope i did okay!
I just watched the final episode of Owl House
I'm so sad it's over but I'm so happy I was able to be a part of the fandom. I'm so happy that I was able to watch it in my lifetime. I'm so grateful for the friends I made thanks to this show!
I cried at multiple points. It was such a perfect ending to a perfect show.
I personally can't wait to see what Dana and the team do next!

I just... GAWD, Amity giving Willow a new hairstyle to represent her healing and growth, just as Amity had one herself! And the dyed strands she added to show the solidarity between the two... How both are together and have healed from the abuse started by Alador and Odalia! How Amity updates Willow’s hair, because her development is linked to Willow’s, as it was that personal betrayal that really started it all for Willow; And now Amity can share that same recovery and growth she’s gained with her friend, with others!
And how Willow is able to choose this on her own terms with the power in her hands, just as she has the power to forgive and decide when to become friends again! Amity and Willow having the new hairstyles with the dye, it represents their connection to one another and how they’ve grown from the trauma; How they’re reconnecting again, after all this time! Bonded and linked like before! Both left that birthday party hurt but now they’re finally free... It’s no longer a cycle of abuse but a cycle of healing now.

The castle is isolated. Literally an island, isolated in the middle of a hole. Just shows how deep the deception goes
Gus being sidelined in “For the future” was not great. At all.
The conversation we were all waiting for, Gus telling Hunter he has known since King’s Tide was for some reason placed during Willow’s crisis and had to be interrupted. Gus literally says he will go find Willow when Hunter tries to respond….ok, what a way to leave that unaddressed.
Next we have the scene where Hunter consoles Willow. Gus is there I guess but he had to be literally covered in vines so Hunter can do his thing. You are telling me, that the boy who also felt like he kept messing up, who was underestimated due to his powers and has troubles controlling them, was not allowed to help his friend who has it very similar to him? For what reasons beside them wanting this to be a shipping scene? If anything it would have been far more impactful if both Hunter and Gus helped her cause her issues relate to them both.
And if the writers wanted Hunter to be the one to help, then Gus shouldn’t have been there at all. Just like Willow was not with them in Labyrinth Runners. It would have been weird if she was and then was ignored during the scene where Hunter consoles Gus. Cause that’s exactly what happeend in FTF.
So I’m planning on cosplaying as Willow in this outfit sometime soon. There’s a Comic Con close to where I live in September and one of the planned guests is Zeno Robinson!

My favorite part about the recent episode is that Hunter has a little bow on his bag and it’s the only thing I can think about because it’s so cute. ☺️
