the ending i kinda hoped for was the brellies using the train and going to the timeline they want. may it be them living on different ones and them not having to see or know each other on that timeline.

you know what some people face characters as if they were actual people and that's very sad. you're not supposed to agree with their actions, you're supposed to be able to see their arc and their motivations and justifications. characters aren't people and just because they do bad stuff doesn't mean the writing is bad.
don't get me wrong i also disliked the five x lila subplot (how could i not?) but how could you not understand their extremely fucked up situation? 7 years lost in between timelines with one person. five hiding the answer out of fear of losing the only good thing he had and going back to a time where everything was uncertain. going back to the apocalypse, the thing he spent his life trying to fight in vain. and lila, exhausted by the mother life and with marriage problems, alone and away from her family for seven. whole. years. would you not crave genuine human connection after 7 years in isolation? yeah i felt super bad about it and yeah i wanted to kill myself but goddamn was that justified.
when life gives you lemons you make lemonade, but when life gives you shit you get this sometimes
and tua has always been a story where people are selfish, or make mistakes, or whatever (and most times these actions are justified within the context of the story/character motivations) but suddenly some people are mad that the characters did imoral things? š¤Ø
anyways, not that's anything new under the sun š¤·āāļø
im still convinced this can happen because of this:
what if tua suddenly releases 4 more episodes? i mean all the previous seasons had 10 episodes each. just had this idea coz a lot of people is unhappy with how things went this season. like, what if?

still waiting for netflix to drop more tua episodes. like, "surprise! you thought that was the ending huh?!"
i'm rewatching s1 and i think the brellies (or five alone) just needed to figure out the train thing and go back to the original timeline to stop five from timetravelling. idk what else happens from there but maybe some sort of avengers endgame type of ending i guess or idk. just give us more please T . T

Yes, I understand she was a married woman, but her and Diego were on a break that she initiated. Yes, she had children of her own, but said that she was tired of SAHM suburban hell. Yes, Diego is Fiveās brother but he never thought they would ever see him again. Like Lila said, it was survival in a way.
What gets me is that after getting back to their timeline and having spent the past 7 years with Five, pursuing a romantic relationship, she just gives it all up for her past life. Yes, her kids are the most important to her, but how could she just drop Five like that?? To not say that she loves him when she knows heās absolutely infatuated with her at that point?? He died heartbroken, standing at her side, knowing she didnāt choose himā¦
