The Wrong Jedi - Tumblr Posts
I see a lot of posts on social media that the council should have trusted Ahsoka, the council should have told the GAR to fuck off, the council shouldn't have surrendered on of their own it proved them corrupt--
Y'all, doesn't that scream corruption? And not the classic jedi criticism of being the Senate's lapdogs, but one that screams that the jedi aren't trustworthy, that they would always close ranks no matter what, that they'll protect justice and peace until one of their own is in trouble.
Idgaf if the jedi is against punishment or revenge or execution, the fact is that when there is collateral, if non jedi are hurt, they should lose all rights to keep it within the Order or bury it so it doesn't reach the public. If the jedi are okay with plain house arrest and rehabilitation for a terrorist or a traitor that's great, but to deny those who don't hold the same ideals of justice but were hurt by their actions just the same, who may have lose their daugher, son, father, mother, lover, etc. is deplorable.
Sure, revenge is not the jedi way, but the jedi serve the people. The jedi should not abandon their duty just because it is inconvenient. Even if admitting a jedi could commit such act would damage their image, playing favorites is betraying their ideals.
The jedi is one of my favorite factions and while they're not perfect, they didn't do anything wrong in The Wrong Jedi arc.
Just thinking about that time when Commander Wolffe was trying to bring Ahsoka in while she was on the run and had the help of Ventress...
Wolffe: Ah, yes, Asajj Ventress…the woman that took my eye…the person I despise most…I’m gonna go for it. I’m gonna take her down. If I come from behind and immobilize her arms then maybe I can-
Ventress: *proceeds to go feral*
Small Obi-Wan Analysis
I've always found The Wrong Jedi arc to be sad and heartbreaking. Not only because of the Ahsoka and Anakin, but also how conflicted Obi-Wan looks throughout the episodes.
Here's some examples:

Here's a screenshot of Obi-Wan when the Council says that Ahsoka is to have a trial with the Jedi Council to determine her standing within the Order. His expression looks so pained, sad, and hurt. You can tell from it that he doesn't want to question Ahsoka, because deep down he knows it's wrong and he knows she's never do something like this.

Here's another one of him during Ahsoka's trial with the Jedi Council. Anakin has just finished saying that Ahsoka couldn't be the culprit, and Obi-Wan yet again looks sad and conflicted, as if he wants to speak up, but can't, because despite being a Jedi Master and being on the Council, it's not his place. Getting involved would make his opinion biased since he's spent so much time with Ahsoka.

Here, he yet again looks concerned and conflicted when the Senate decides Ahsoka is guilty of the charges put against her (shortly before Anakin bursts in with Barris).

This shot is shown while Barris is speaking about how the Jedi have strayed from the Light and the ideals they once had in favor of pleasing the Senate and the public. Again, he looks like he's having an inner turmoil. You can see on his face that he's truly thinking about what Barris saying. He's thinking, 'Have we really gone that far? Have we really done so much that we risk being Sith ourselves?'

Lastly, these two are right after Ahsoka says she's not coming back. First we see a small bit of shock mixed with sadness, just as Anakin had, and then he looks down as if he's thinking, 'I can understand why she's leaving... If I were accused of the same crimes and expelled, I don't know if I'd come back either...'
In short, this episode breaks my heart as I watch Obi-Wan's constant conflict throughout it.
Warning ⚠️ Character death
The AU I'm currently working on
One last time
He saw them for one last time
Just before their exsicuttion
Anakin put up a brave face
Comfotted her
Because she was afraid
And when their exsicution came
The stone faces they put up
Surprised even Yoda
It was their eyes
Didn't show fear, anger or hate
But pain, betrayal and sadness
Acceptance but defiance
Because they exsicution would
Happen at same time
Two clones form Curasant guard
With blasters set to kill
Walked up behind them
And positioned the guns
At their heads
Tarkin allowed them
To say their last words
They said nothing
They kept quiet
And then gave clones order to fire
Two blaster shots met their target
Two dead bodies slumped to ground
In the pool of their own blood
Clones stepped back
All aundiance left
Except Yoda
The grandmaster
Walked up to the bodies
Not caring
If underside of his robes
Were soaked in blood
He stood there
closely examining the bodies
Even though he felt
Their beautiful presences disappear
Heard the Force scream in anger
The part of him that knew
they were inocent
The part that wished
they were alive
Waited for them to wake up
For them to jump up
And scream "Prank "
For their chest to start moving
The hearts to start beating
The cold bodies to stir
It didn't happen
They laid there dead
It was so wrong
They were always on move
They were stil
The Jedi master
Noticed something glistening
He walker closed
Taking oldests hand in his
And opening it
What was inside
Partly surprised him
The other part
Already knew what he would find
A symbol of the Jedi Order
It was so tightly clutched
A taint in the form of chest
Was visible on his palm
It was made from (Kyber Cryslal and) Silver
Even after they were expelled
Even after they were thrown to wolfes
Even in his last moments
He still held true to his oath
He still believed in force
