Has anyone ever made a therian oc? Like I sorta wanna make one but I dunno if that would be disrespectful…
I’m confused/curious, can people who just feel non human, and more like- a vampire, or an eldritch being or something, still be part of the therian/animal kin community? I’ve seen the tags otherkin and nonhuman floating about there, but they seem to still refer to mostly (alive today)animal therians. Im going to ask a therian that I go to school with about this, but I want some other answers also-
(Im totally not asking this bc I feel like I’m not human, and more some cross between ‘human but two steps to the left/off’ and ‘eldritch being only intended to watch, that chooses to experience’)

Those who’ve been here for a while (and have seen my art) have probably heard that I have weird moments of phantom limbs that I realistically wouldn’t ever have- wings, spikes, horns, animal ears, or a tail (which is the current bother)
Idk if it’s a furry thing or an alterhuman thing or a therian thing or whatever it counts as but it fuckin sucks
and the closest analogues I have- mechanical wings, a belt tail, barrette ears- don’t line up right and have no nerve-feelings so it just feels awkward on top of the phantom sensation
Idk, I feel weird talking abt this… like I’m a “freak” and a “furry (derogatory)”
but it genuinely gets in the way sometimes- like right now, when I can’t sleep bc I can “feel” my tail even though it isn’t there and it’s making my brain go nuts
Any goblin other kin out there?
So I’ve had this conflict with myself lately. Am I goblin other kin? I feel and identify with goblins, I’m aware I’m human but don’t identify with the term, I feel like a forest creature and sometimes I make chittering sounds, collect shinies and treasures (mostly trash that I recycle and reuse), walk around on all fours, feel horns on my head. Am I goblin other kin, or is it something else?
