RadioApple TitanicAU!- production halted. I'm working on it, but right now I'm stumped with how to begin it. Also, I've seen a lot of people recently deciding they'd write one, and I don't want the same exact ideas out there at one time, yknow? I'll write it eventually, and I still have my original ideas on how to run it. they're dated and posted on tumblr so you can scroll back and see if you must! Either way, production is halted.

I know this particular idea (collegeau) has milled about for a while, and that's fine because mine has special elements laced into it and a specific set of characters in certain spots, and also a RarePair! Ship :> I'm so excited to be able to bring you this lovely story! It has just become a thing! Be on the lookout for it within the coming weeks/months!

(This piece was inspired by the vocaloid song Trick and Treat, by Rin and Lin. I thought the song fit Frankie and Hurricane a little bit, especially for the spooky month, so I drew this)

Trick and Treat ( Visual Novel ) Review

I know, I know Halloween has pass a long time ago. QwQ

But I feel this visual novel deserves a review somehow. 

And I just finish reading it recently haha~

So let’s start off with some storytelling...

In this visual novel, the reader will be playing as Alex, a curious boy, along with two of his friends, Steven and Alfred who decide to enter the haunted Oakwood, a forest rumored to be cursed by witches, in their town of Abingdon, where 5 men has mysteriously went missing over the years after entering the forest on Halloween.

The storyline is well-executed, except for certain parts, where the grammar and spelling seems a little off since this game is translated from the Spanish version. But I really am glad they make the decision to translate the visual novel to English, many thanks from the English readers!

However, it's worth the mention that the starting atmosphere was really spooky with the background music playing and how the creator intepret their situation when they got lost in the forest. Definitely send chills straight to my bones !

As for the characters, I find the boys have little to no personality. Well, at least the girls have some personality so I guess it’s alright overall.

The endings are ok, I was a little disappointed that they mostly involve Alex getting killed by the witches. I was hoping he walks aimlessly or somehow gets eaten by a werewolf ( yes I have a crazy imagination rawr ). The Truth Ending is a nice hidden surprise and only shown in the endings section after completing all the other endings. 

I’ll create a walkthrough for this game in a few days time.

Final verdict? 

You don’t want to read this at night if you want to have a good night’s sleep. Because the background music is creepy. Really creepy. Still a good horror visual novel to spend a night with. Recommended.

Lilian - A manipulative and grudge-bearing witch who lives in the cottage inside the woods.

Storyline

On one dark Halloween night, Alex and his friends, Steven and Alfred decides to enter Oakwood forest, or better known as Wychwood in their town of Abingdon. The forest is rumored to be cursed by witches and over the courses of history, five men has mysteriously went missing after entering the forest on Halloween night.

Wanting to debunk or just simply curious of the forest, the three of them went it. Along the way, Alex gets separated from his friends. What fate awaits him?
