Sailplane Harpy OC. Meet Viee, a lightweight, non powered harpycraft. Harpycraft are flying humanoid creatures that resemble different types of airplanes! I've had this idea for a while, but I'm only just now good enough artistically to pull it off. I've almost never seen any good anthropomorphized aircraft, and I'd like to start a series exploring the idea. I've got the start of some lore written up too, so go ahead and leave me questions or asks if you're curious about these critters! Any ideas for other planes I should try out? I am usually most active on Deviantart, which is where most of the commissions I support myself on come from. However, with DA currently openly supporting and promoting Israel, many people are avoiding/boycotting the site. I have gotten almost no work this month and am short on money, and I would like to promote my work on other sites to keep this from happening again in the future. Ok. I'm getting really tired of seeing AI images pop up on the front page with no-one even questioning if they're real or not. This is AI. Rant ahead. The image is funny. And the shapes are perfect. Too prefect. Too symmetrical. That on it's own is not proof, and could be Photoshop. I used to use PS for work, (I have stopped using Adobe products) and I know exactly how you would doctor an image like this. This isn't Photoshop. There's no distortion, selection clipping, ect. If you're careful, those can be covered up and avoided, but it would usually be too much effort for something like this. But the biggest giveaway, by far, that this is AI generated, is the anatomy. "What anatomy, the perspective hides it?" Yeah and that's convenient isn't it? But what can be seen makes no sense. Try to picture where all four of its paws are. If that thing on the left is supposed to be a front paw, then there should probably be another one poking out under the mouth somewhere. The dog could just be doing an awkward pose, but it would be extremely unbalanced. But that leg on the left isn't a front leg. The curve and the form shadow show that it has a knee joint, making it a back leg. In which case, not only are we missing both front legs, but we can see a second paw poking out from directly behind it, making it a front leg with hind leg anatomy. The tail is also slightly weird. This is a very strange dog. The background also has several tell tail signs of being AI. It can be hard to tell if you aren't already looking for it, because the image is low-res and blurry. And that in itself is often a sign to look for. Ai tend to lower the resolution to make it harder to notice details. You can still see things though. I've spent an inordinate amount of time staring at dandelions. Don't ask why. The one, single leaf looks decent, but it doesn't go back to a central structure the way it should. The rest of the ground is a jumbled mess of nonsense. The line of grass stems above the ear on the right lines up suspiciously with said ear. The concrete slab is oddly thin and placed far enough back in the shot that the perspective looks weird. The plants and tree trunks, or maybe telephone polls, against the wall are strange. And the wall. THE WALL. None of the lines are strait. The perspective makes no sense. If you follow the base of the wall off the left side of the screen, it would intersect the concrete immediately, and the two are at different angles. This is AI. I keep seeing these on my dash. Landscape photography and animal pictures and all sorts of other stuff, and more and more of it's going under the radar and not even being noticed. People are upvoting it. Sharing it. I hate it. I HATE it.
