I’ve always like the idea of some of the straw hats being related correlated with one of the 7 deadly sins:
Pride - Ussop
Envy - Robin
Wrath - Frankie
Lust - Sanji
Gluttony - Luffy
Greed - Nami
Sloth - Zoro
Plus the idea of Pride not being the leader but Gluttony is kinda funny.

Another idea bloomed of once Luffy becomes a God, the StrawHats soon follow, not as powerful, but powerful enough and each having their own ‘God of’ thing in the list above. Brooke would probably be God of Death and Chopper would be God of the Wild.
Also the idea of one of the StrawHats getting captured and toying with the captor while they patiently wait for their family to come find them. They could 100% escape if they wanted to withhold a snap, but this is more fun.

Ussop definitely listens to imagine dragons and thinks he's so badass
I feel like Chopper would really like cavetown and Conan Gray
Sanji listens to drake and Cardi B also maybe like Megan the stallion?
Nami listens to lizzo and doja cat, and she would definitely have some kind of merch
Robin loves girl in red, she know all the lyrics to most of her songs
Zoro listens to Eminem, and maybe some selective three days grace songs
Brook mostly listens to like classical music (he finds it relaxing) but sometimes he'll listen to stuff like mother mother and queen (also the Beatles for some reason) but it's not often at all
Franky DEFINITELY likes stray kids. Don't ask me why, he just does.
And now luffy...my dear luffy. He would listen to meme songs un-ironically, like 'never gonna give you up', the rock, SpongeBob music, etc. Like this man is fishing with this shit playing and he has a straight face. That or it's just to most ear grinding shit you've ever heard. (Also I think he would like 5 seconds of summer sometimes)
Bonus:
Ace listens to Taylor swift and Avril Lavigne and is very proud abt it. Him and Luffy sing their songs very chaotically together as teens
Specifically girlfriend by Avril Lavigne is very very chaotic with those 2 singing along
