Despite the episode leak, I'm not going to say anything critical until the episode comes out officially.
The new episode is pretty much leaked. Almost entirely. View it at your own discretion if you want to be spoiled, but I'm still not going to say anything until the episode is released officially.
Now whoever is leaking the episodes, they must be really unhappy with Spindlehorse and Vivziepop if the they're willing to leak the entire episode out like that. Goddamn.

WHY CAN A VAUTOUR II FIGHT A B-29A?????????? RADAR GUIDED MISSILES VS A 1944 BOMBER IS NOT FAIR IN THE FUCKING SLIGHTEST!!!!!! I own a Vautour, it does NOT belong at 8 point fucking 3, send that fucker to 9.3 AT LEAST!!
I do not care if the Vautour isn’t brilliant at 9.3, it’s fucking dumb as shit to put it at 8.3 and let it fight mainly WW2 vehicles???!?!!??!
And get this: the Israelian version, the same fucking plane with worse missiles (non-radar guided and no turn radius), is 9.0, so why is the one with RADAR GUIDED MUNITIONS 8.3?? The fact that it is approaching SPITFIRE territory in BR is disgusting, send it to 9.3.
It’s at the same BR as the Javelin FAW. As someone who mained the Javelin for 2 months, if the Vaut is at 8.3 then the Javelin should be fucking 3.0.
It’s the most modern Vaut there is and it can fight mid-late WW2 aircraft, absolutely horrific balancing there Gaijin.

The Me 264 - A B-29 with less bombs and objectively better attributes in all other stats.

Have you ever gotten a B-29 to 12000m without being intercepted by a jet fighter with a roof of 18km? Exactly. And the top speed is lower, but realistically? You ain’t gonna surpass 370km/h in a B-29 due to spawn height being so low and optimal alt being so high (5000m in between on average, so with a (SPADED, might I add) fully loaded bomber with 2m/s of climb, it would take you a fuckin long ass time to reach that height. The Me 264 technically suffers the same fault - low climb rate…but uhh it has to climb 3000m less so it’s just better due to having the same climb rate.
It also has better defensive armament for a bomber. Fight me. I’ll take 2 roof mounted and 1 ventral 20mm over 12.7mms any day because 20mm actually do damage.
So in normal conditions, it’s faster, better defended, turns better than some fucking fighters at its BR and yet is below the B-29…by 2.3 BRs…riiight.
Send it to 7.7
Or fix the B-29’s fucking awful BR and make it spawn higher so spawning isn’t a fucking death wish, but Gaijin won’t do that, so I suggest nerfing everything until it balances out (nerf Me 264 to 7.7, nerf jets to 10.0, keep going until reserve is 3.0 or something and we’ll get somewhere).
If you use the ZSU-57 to spawn rush, I hope you have a miserable life. I hope you’re in debt. I hope Gaijin bans your account after you buy a top tier premium. You ruin mid tier. You are the reason people stop playing. It’s not the grind, it’s those who make the grind fucking unbearable by ONLY using the most toxic OP vehicles.

It is at a lower BR than the Sea Vixen, which has been nerfed so hard that it is now dogshit useless. The Vautour IIN Late sits at a fucking disgusting 8.3 when it’s a 10.3 at fucking MINIMUM.
If you do not have an offensive gun or are in a WW2 prop bomber (which this things can fucking fight on a regular basis, not even a full fucking uptier) you die. End of. No evading. No dodging. No possible change to fight back, it locks you from 3km the front and insta-kills you with radar guided munitions. At fucking 8.3.
‘But it turns like shit!!!!!!’ It’s an interceptor.
‘It’s actually pretty balanced’ sit in a B-29, see one of these kill you every game with 0 chance for you to fight back or do anything and then say that again.

Yes I am mad that I just lost 8 >150% boosters because this thing flew in my general direction every fucking time and just instantly killed me.
And I love the official war thunder Reddit being like ‘Ooooohh but it’s an interceptor!!!! It’s meant to do that!!!!’ It fights 1944 propeller driven bombers on a regular basis. It is from 1970-80.
