Consumer rights suck ass

They should just take away the rights. I mean, the right to be informed and the right to safety is literally for pussies. They should just put every product inside of a mystery box along with a 3 pound-cylinder of a random element inside.

Like, think about it. Wouldn't it be fun to just stumble upon a nice little slice of actively-decaying radon whilst unboxing your toothbrush? It'd make a really nice bracelet if you cut it up into pieces, and they make for really good decorative pebbles. Those radon pebbles might even be placed outside of daycare centers or hospitals just for decoration. Or better yet, a big chewing stick of pure fluorine. Nothing better than pure unprocessed fluorine for the teeth!

In short, consumer rights are an excuse to whine like a little bitch every time you're butt-hurt about not getting your way and make some poor 15 year old's life gradually miserable every passing day.

Remember, legends take risks.

So I was in class, and I started to wonder about the things that have made me cry in the past (don't judge me), mainly movies. That eventually brought me to the conclusion of anime movies that have made me cry. But I am not sure which anime movie truly broke me, so to end this debate in my head I'm making a poll about it.

To be honest there are probably more sad anime movies I could've put into this poll, but there was not enough space. Anyway, hope to see everyone's opinions on this matter and I would also like to get more suggestions on anime movies that can make me bawl my eyes out.

This basically sums my past few years. I hated waking up every day, seeing the sun while being anxious over my past mistakes every single day. It started when I woke up, but it didn’t stop when I slept. Thank God I finally got myself together! May Allah bless everyone, especially those in need.

something is better than nothing, always.

if you're struggling with a project - try naming a word document, making a list of things you want to expand upon, or doodling for a while - it's still progress that will help you a lot when you start work again tomorrow.

if you're having trouble cleaning yourself - a swig of mouthwash, a wet wipe, a change of clothes - is enough to make you feel more comfortable in this moment.

if you haven't eaten in a while - a glass of water, a snack, or a dollar menu item - will keep your energy up until you can revisit the idea of a large meal.

if you stayed up too late and have somewhere to be in a few hours - just close your eyes for a while, doesn't matter if you don't actually sleep - any rest you can manage will ease the upcoming day.

if you've been sitting or lying for a while - try a pace around your room, maybe just getting up for a moment, or asking someone you trust to move your limbs with you - it will help your circulation and perhaps improve your mood, too.

if someone important is waiting on your response - a quick text that you're not feeling well and will answer in more detail shortly - will keep others in the loop and will ease your own anxiety immensely.

if laundry needs to be done - try just collecting dirty clothes off the floor and putting them in a hamper, maybe even just doing one load, and throwing the clean clothes on a chair afterwards - will make that pile smaller and less intimidating.

if your whole home is messy - cleaning off your kitchen countertop or something else small - is one less thing you need to do later.

it's okay to tackle small tasks. it's okay to skip some steps. it's okay to make things a little less overwhelming for a future you. something is better than nothing.
