Got a violent urge to do some sculpting so i got to work on a daemon prince of Slaanesh.

It all started with his head, I really like the old long keeper of secrets heads so I figured I'd make make this guy's head long as well. He'll get some horns too

Then it was on to the back. Had to figure out the muscles since not many people have four arms so it's hard to find good reference pictures

What he currently looks like. He's getting pretty damn big so he'll probably have to be a daemon prince in name only.
I still have a lot of work left but I'm quite happy with the progress so far
I plan on adding a boob
Daemon prince of Slaanesh progress part two

He's really starting to take shape now that he has legs

I decided to beef up his back a bit while i was giving him an ass

Daemonette size comparison
But now i need to let the putty dry before i can do much more work.
Daemon prince of Slaanesh progress part three

Didn't make quite as much progress today as I'd hoped but not every day can be super productive.

This should come in handy

Worked a little more work on the face and gave him horns, may add more

Got started on the claws
Daemon prince of Slaanesh progress part four

I shortened the left arm a little and got to work on the right one.

I decided to give him a sword so i cut the basic shape out in plasticard

What he currently looks like from behind

With the boob in place he's starting to look a lot more slaaneshi.
Lets hope tumblr has mercy on this post.
Daemon prince of Slaanesh progress part five

The current state of him. With the claws and sword sloppily attached using wire I'm starting to get excited. Soon I'll be done with the fleshier bits and I'll get started on armor and clothing.

Hands are difficult but satisfying. The putty slips of the wire foundation if im not really careful. Thinking ill try a thinner coiled wire next time so the putty has more surface area to stick to

The other side of the claws. Next I'll have to add the "thumbs"
Such a fun project and i really feel like im learning a lot.
Had this guy laying around for a while so I figured I'd actually try and get around to finishing him. Might do a couple small touch ups here and there as well as the base rim but I'm quite happy with how he's looking.

Quite a fun figure to paint and a good excuse to get some free hand practice in.

He will be receiving some bretheren at some point as i have quite a few old marines I've been meaning to get to for a good while now.
Got some painting done today.
A mutant from the accused cultist kit with a head swap for flavour reasons i may get into later
I’ve been working on a slaanesh cult for necromunda for a while now. I really wanted some spawns and these were perfect for the job.

This blessed creature has been incredibly fun to paint so far. I got to play around with a recipe for skin that I’d seen and wanted to try out.

A lot of layering and glazing so it took a long time but it was worth it.
I really like how this thing looks like it can’t contain its mutations anymore and is bursting at the seams.

Still have a ways to go in this guy but it’s shaping up pretty nicely
Finished the bastard today

Over all a delight to paint

The cult is a Cawdor/Redemptionist gang turned to the worship of slaanesh hence the flames on his clothes

An angle i didn’t take a good enough picture of yesterday showing off the arm

I mentioned this gang in a previous post I and figured it was time to show them off. They're a Cawdor gang turned to the worship of Slaanesh.
Formerly devout followers of the emperor and proud members of the Redemptionist cult, now screeching the praises of a new master.
Seeking atonement for their sins through purifying fire, their prayers were answered but not by the emperor. Something in the flames spoke to them, it spoke of the lies told to them by preachers and propagandists.

Maddened by their experience and turned from the imperial creed, they set out into the underhive to spread their faith. They believe that pain will liberate them from the limits of their mortal bodies and souls and are only happy to share the suffering that others may see the truth.
Members of the cult leave their old identities behind by burning themselves beyond recognition, donning heavy iron masks to be their new faces and adopting new names.

This gang has been in the works on and off for a while now. most of the models are just Cawdor and Redemptionists with a head swap and sometimes a little bit of sculpting. the heads are from Reptilian Overlords Miniatures.
I find that Necromunda's relatively low model count means that you can put quite a bit more time in every model while still keeping it manageable.
It's already a sizeable gang but i do have plans to expand it further. plans include The Unmade from warcry as well as another Cawdor kit to make some of the more deranged members of the cult. I’m also working on a stig shambler I’m building from some spare bits as well as two more spawns made from accursed cultists in the works to represent the higher tiers of chaos spawn
Another spawn of chaos joins the fray
I had some spare bits from my redemptionists so i figured it would be a nice way to tie this guy to the rest of the cult.

I figured the daemon head didn’t quite fit what i was going for so i sculpted a ring of teeth there instead.
I wanted the mutations to be a different colour than the guy they burst out of and figured that a flayed look would pop well

The base was a bit of an obstacle as i don’t have any neceomunda bases in this size so i had to make my own. I took one of the 40mm bases from the accursed cultists box and went to town with a knife, plasticard and a couple greeblies.

Chaos spawn provide a fantastic canvas for conversions as they’re very forgiving when it comes to messy sculpting and wonky proportions.

Finished this guy a couple weeks ago but haven’t gotten around to taking any decent pictures until now.
I got him as a birthday present and simply had to get started as soon as possible.

This model has been a real test of my skill and patience but I’m happy with how he turned out. I didn’t realise quite how huge he is before I’d put him together.

Non metallic Lion El’Jonson was truly an undertaking. The sheer amount of complex gold caught me off guard and getting the green armour right took some time.

I had some struggles figuring out what i wanted to do with his sword but i landed on a vibrant green as I like power weapons nice and colourful.

A closer look at his plasma pistol. Over all he’s been a fun project even though the size and complexity of this figure made the process a little more taxing than usual.
I already have a bunch of first born marines that have been gathering dust for far too long and it’s about time i got around to them.

Here are the tactical marines that are ripped off their old 25mm bases and ready for some paint and new 32 mm bases but I have a bunch more that I need to paint strip.
Most of my old space marines are from two assault on black reach boxes and two dark vengeance boxes. So lots of monopose marines and lots of air brush work to be done.
It begins!
A quick update. I’ll be expanding the Slaanesh cult quite a bit. Do I really need 19 more cultists? No, but is it in the spirit of excess to add 19 more cultists to my already quite large gang? Hell yes it is!

I’ve been sitting on a box of Cawdor for a while and waiting until i felt i could comfortably order some Unmade for some kitbashing

My progress so far with some Redemptionist bits thrown in for good measure. I still need to mess around with the heads in blender a bit so I can start printing.
I’ve remade my old gang leader as i thought he deserved a bit of a glow up. The stilts and even beefier chain glaive really help make him proper menacing.
I couldn’t wait to paint this one. This is the new model for my necromunda gang leader. Converted from a blissful one, I’m really happy with how he’s turned out.
Not the best light for taking pictures but ill get some better ones once I’m done with the rest of the heretics.

His name is Lakalom the pilgrim, he is not the first to bear the name nor will he be the last. It is said that those who take on the name will begin to act more like him for every day that passes and even claiming to be the very one who crossed the ash wastes on foot in search of the gifts offered by the great pyre.

I had this idea of making some of the new heretics partially flayed as they take the redemptionist beleif in purification through pain and twisted it to perfection through pain.

I absolutely love the designs of the unmade and knew early on that I had to do something with them for this project. Had to change his pose a bit in order to even get him to fit on a 32mm base

He’s probably my favourite conversion so far. All the pieces came together without much struggle and painting him was really fun.

Here he is next to his old model. The old one was already too tall for some of the terrain we use and this glow up sure ain’t helping.
A bit more progress on my cultists.
Half of them still need a bit of work before I can start painting.

These first four were assembled before I’d gotten around to printing the new heads. Still lots of work left on these but they’re shaping up nicely.

I’m pretty happy with how the flayed bits are turning out.

The unmade and cawdor bits went together with relative ease so I didn’t have to do too much with green stuff

Four more ready for priming. The black resin and poor lighting really isn’t doing the printed parts any favours in these photos.

After messing around a bit with the heads in blender and printing a batch i could put a few more together, these four are the ones I’ve gotten to a point where i feel i can start slapping some paint on them.

I’m liking the variety added by the new heads and unmade bodies

They’re mostly equipped with pistols and sharp things as i needed some more bone pickers and zealots

When I first started making this cult I figured it’d be a small side project that maybe got a new model or two now and then. Since then it’s become one of my absolute favourite things to work on, I’ll look at completely unrelated models and start trying to figure out how I can turn them into something i can use for the cult.
Hopefully gonna have more pictures of this batch of conversions soon as I make more progress. There are also a few other models I’ve made for this cult that I haven’t showed yet so you can look forward to those as well.
HELLO, WARHAMMER 40,000: ROGUE TRADER RPG FROM OWLCAT GAMES

I'm REALLY hyper about this and not going to shut up until the release! And after that!!

Got the finished Mortarion pics. My friend's got a lightbox, might take some sick photos in it.
I'll post updates when it goes up for auction.

The Mortarion I've been painting. Sorry for inactivity. Been spam followed by onlyfans bots nonstop since creating my account.
You are a leader of a human colony that long lost contact with Earth, when at one day they show up and greet you as the first Alien race they met. You realize that years of genetic alterations and environmental effects made your people quite different from "standard" humans…
