The fact that Simon went from:
Not touching Baz unless it was a punch to
Awkwardly bumping his shoulder for comfort to
Doing it again, less awkwardly
Grabbing his shoulder and giving Baz his magic to
Holding his hands as Baz showed them stars
All in about a day says a lot about Simon. He just wanted any excuse to touch Baz after he realized that they don’t have to constantly fight each other.
I don't think smut scenes are supposed to make you cry but clearly Rainbow Rowell didn't get the memo because "If I want him warm, I have to do it myself" and "I can see him, even when I cant, even with my eyes closed- I know him too well" and "Is this was people do? Get as close as they can and then push closer? Burn each other into every gap? And then what? Then just tomorrow and more?" and "Just kiss me for the sake of kissing me" and "I want my sheets to smell like you" and "Be gentle with me...even though you don't have to" and "Don't say please. Why not? Because you don't have to. I'll give you whatever you want" and "I couldn't break him if I tried. I won't try" and "Is this what he wants? Is this what I'm allowed to take?" and "I was never magic" and "Is this magic? Is this enough?" And now I'm sobbing.
So far I’ve only read the first fic here, but it was so good I had to reblog the list. If you’re in this fandom absolutely give them a read! (Especially the first one. It’s honestly the best snowbaz fic I’ve read in my life. So in character.)

Part one and two are the same story, told from different POVs, that together give us the hilarious and charming context of two pining idiots who lack the whole picture, but who are wholly lost for each other. Bonus points for a great Agatha!

A heart(breaking/warming) and perfect meditation on Baz’s return to Watford after the Christmas Day fallout. It feels like a love letter from Baz to Simon.
