It's so good to see Tony alive and still alive in every episode he appears in What If!!!
this is my favorite so far
I think Captain Peggy's character is interesting but it's a shame that every time she appears her story revolves around Steve
I think it's funny that when Peggy runs out to save someone from her past who is brainwashed and does everything to make sure he's not a monster, it's a romance, but when Steve does the SAME thing, it's not.
let's talk about how Marvel created an episode focused on a native superhero character speaking a native language and who, together with other natives, beats up a colonialist; and then in the next one they go there and the moral lesson of the episode is that there is no problem in creating an empire if it is to bring "Peace and Justice"
Taking all this into account, I think what I liked least about What If is that Spiderman didn't make any appearance...
Loki desgin
This loki design was based off of an au of mine of a cannon diviragent what if ep 3 (What if earth lost it's mightest heros). Where in the Au he begun more acepting of his ice jotunn hertiage. His close are heavily based off of the clothes of the comic loki agwnt of asgard.
They don want a repeat of the Sonic incident.
This year really belongs to Marvel.
Okay, first of, I really doubt that the Odin of the original timeline would allow Loki to play around with the Casket of Ancient Winters, so it's possible that what kid!Loki is holding is just a toy.
But about him not turning blue; maybe this Loki is from one of the timelines where he's always known that he's Jötunn. Knowing from early childhood should have given him more control over his ice powers and shape-shifting.
Thor, after all, looks totally fine with being frozen; trusting Loki not to hurt him.
I see this with both brothers being comfortable, even playful, with Loki's abilities.
so this happened in the main timeline? but loki didn't turn blue? this is the second time we've been shown loki not turning blue while holding the casket 👀🤔
because of what if..? 2×01 i'm now thinking about an au where that nebula meets nebula from 1×02 because THAT nebula has the energy of a vixen sidekick from old noir detective movies which perfectly accompanies 2×01 nebula who has the energy of deckard from blade runner (the whole episode has that dark cyberpunk theme, it's insanely good)
mind you, i'm a simp for this woman, i NEED to see them together-
nebula 1×02 gave nebula 2×01 nickname 'bula and/or n'uls because that's basically what she did with t'challa by calling him cha-cha 🫠
don't come for me, this can be both platonic and romantic, i don't care, they are both lesbians but one is mean and the other is sly 🤌
