Started shenlong. Still waiting on a bunch of waterslide decals, should be here in a week or two. Decided to get the liquid primer to use through my airbrush and I will NEVER go back to the rattle can stuff.
As you can see I'm doing the pre shading with a "purple" which is like 50:1 tamiya white to purple. The plan is to have each Gundam a different "white" to show each were built by different people.
Shading makes a huge difference. Used tamiya purple for the shading
Re purple shading made it look pink so I'm going over it again with grey
Finished the gold on shenlong. Gonna redo some of the shading on the white so it looks less pink. Waiting on decals to come in
I shouldn’t be allowed to make videos on my phone 😂
Esentially my gundam wing project. Wing gundams blue has changed since.
I can’t believe I’m done. But!! Lots of photos to take and they’re too big for my construction paper method.... might have to buy a backdrop 🤦🏼♂️
Lots of photos to come (individually and group) as well as some videos which I may upload to YouTube. But until then going to get some Heavyarms photos done and starting next weekend I’m going on vacation! :D

Finished upgrading Shenlong. Also fixed the shield I messed up back when I did it. Photo shoot soon!

I know I posted a bunch of my build progress on here but I felt it’s a bit to scroll through to find them so I figured id post links to my IG stories in order to show my builds from first to last, so you can see my progress as a builder. I literally learned how to airbrush on these. So here we go!
Wasn’t happy with the shading so I went back over it then did a little panel lining. The shoulder on the right is the before I reshadedw
Best. Decision. Ever! Always go with your instincts folks. This was the color I originally wanted for my Shenlong but I didn’t know how to make it considering it was when I first started airbrushing.
Edit: this is not my liaoya, that’s still green but I had to pause on it for a little bit
Someone else is also getting a color update.
Finished the repaint of the blue on Shenlong. I still got the shield to do but I ran out of paint and I can’t get one of the colors I need to mix until April but Finally have it the color I want. Luckily I had plenty of decals left over from the Bandai sheet. Plus no more clown shoes :)
I plan to do a photo shoot eventually....
Also, Shenlong isn’t the only one getting their blue repainted ;)
