â„ Warnings: Mild language, brief jealousy, arguing, kissing, suggestive tones.Â
â„ Summary: In which model!wooyoung is hopelessly in love with his manager and finally does something about it.Â
Todayâs shoot is simple. Itâs solo, which Wooyoung prefers, indoors, also preferred, and there is a giant table filled with snacks waiting for him once heâs done. Itâs technically for everyone and heâd make sure to leave plenty for the staff but he was going to absolutely demolish those little cakes heâd spotted on the way in.Â
The concept is more on the casual side, sexy but make it natural, effortless. The clothes arenât half bad either and they all fit perfectly. That is no doubt your doing since heâd loudly complained about pins sticking him throughout his last shoot where all the clothes were two sizes too big.Â
Heâd waited until it was just the two of you of course, heâd never outwardly complain in front of the stylists but you always took care of him and made sure all his needs were met on the job. You were the best manager heâd ever hoped to find and he thought the world of you. Â
He was also one-hundred percent head over heels for you but that doesnât mean heâs biased. Youâre really just that good at your job.Â

you and wooyoung certainly werenât best friends but thatâs not to say you two were enemies either. youâd met each other through a friend of a friend just over a year ago and even though you both felt an instant connection, it was nothing that had either of you suddenly intertwining your lives. wooyoung would consider you a casual friend and if he asked heâs about 89% sure you would say the same, 1% of the other 11 was reserved for what his best friend yeosang liked to call his âsimp brainâ that wanted to imagine youâd call him something along the lines of a crush, but disregarding the tiny baby so minor and minuscule romantic interest wooyoung had in you, you both were casual friends, âiâm already in the neighborhood, do you want to grab coffeeâ friends, âi was supposed to have a date but they bailed and iâm already dressed up, do you want to get drinksâ friends. you both were certainly not âcan you be my fake boyfriend?â friends.
âiâm sorry, what?â wooyoung is lucky he swallowed the last sip of his coffee or it would likely be all over his open laptop.
âyou know that guy yunho?â you supply, quite unhelpfully in wooyoungâs opinion.
and yeah of course he knows yunho, heâs yeosangâs roommate, and the guy you havenât been able to shut up about for the past month. âwhat does he have to do with anything?â he asks, trying to keep any of the jealousy he felt bubbling in his stomach at the mention of yunhoâs name from showing on his face.
you roll your eyes like the answer is obvious as you reply, âwell i was talking with mingi the other day,â mingi being the friend you had met wooyoung through in the first place, âand he said i should try making yunho jealous, because heâs pretty sure yunho is actually interested in me but just, like, needs that push.â
wooyoung nods slowly as he continues to listen to you rant, trying to understand where in your mind you think taking mingiâs advice, especially when it came to your love life, would be a good idea. wooyoung loved mingi but the man hadnât had a date in more than six months and heâs not even sure when the last time his roommate had any romantic interest in anyone was.
â-and so i figured the best way to make someone jealous is basically seem interested in someone else,â you conclude as the man sat across from you tunes back in, trying to look like heâd been listening the whole time instead of wondering how heâd found himself in this situation. he was definitely going to have to talk to mingi once he got back home.
âand you thought i was the best choice for that?â wooyoung raises a brow as you sip your drink.
you nod quickly as you swallow. âwell iâm pretty sure he knows hongjoong and seonghwa are dating, jongho is very clearly not my type, iâm not close enough with san, and i doubt he would believe yeo and i were a thing considering they live together,â you explain, listing off all the men in your close circle of friends, except for him, yunho, and mingi, and for a second he considers trying to twist mingiâs intentions by suggesting that maybe the tall blonde is the one who likes you and is looking for an excuse to get close to you but he can still recall the look of sadness on the gentle giantâs face the last time wooyoung threw him under the bus. the look of determination on your face makes it seem like youâd been thinking about this for more than a day, hell maybe even more than a week, but wooyoung canât tell if your resolve should be alarming in any way because heâs much too worried about the prospect of what pretending to be in a relationship with you might do to his heart.
in a last ditch effort he asks, âisnât this what, like, tinder is for?â and the way you sigh cues him in to know that youâve definitely considered that avenue already.
âi donât want to lead on some poor guy for my own gain like that.â
of course you donât, youâre too nice, and if you knew that wooyoung would agree in a heartbeat, if it werenât for his microscopic eensy-weensy romantic interest in you, heâs sure you wouldnât be asking him for the exact same reason, but wooyoung has been set to keep his feelings to himself since he realized they existed at all and so he can only blame himself for the current situation. well maybe he can blame mingi too but, again, thatâs a conversation for later.
wooyoung sighs. âi need to know your plan before iâll agree to anything,â he says but he knows heâll end up saying yes no matter what when he sees the way your face immediately lights up at the prospect of your plan working successfully.
âokay,â you place your hands against the table excitedly, causing both of your drinks to wobble slightly, âi was thinking it could be more of a casual thing instead of a full blown relationship so that it would be more believable when we break it off.â you explain and wooyoung can feel that heâs not going to get any work done today, closing his laptop in defeat as he rests his chin on top of his hand, his elbow now placed on the table.
after youâd explained the details of your idea, and your fake situationship, you and wooyoung both left the cafe with a plan for the next couple weeks, leading up to a big party yunho and yeosang were hosting in which youâd explain to yunho that your thing with wooyoung was over and youâd get together and it would all work out.
he had to give it to you, wooyoung had doubted how much rational thought youâd actually put into your idea when you first asked but after hearing you out he was almost convinced himself that it might work. secretly wooyoung was hoping for the romcom ending in which you would realize he was the one that was interested in you, but that was just a itty-bitty thought in the back of his mind, totally not a thought swirling around his head and making his heart thump his entire journey home after youâd parted ways.
âhey, how was your day?â mingi is quick to greet his roommate with a large smile as wooyoung takes off his shoes in the entryway.
âhm yeah it was fine,â wooyoung starts with sarcasm dripping from his voice, âexcept for the part where you convinced my friend to ask me for a fake relationship!â his words had progressively gotten louder as he approached the taller man, now looking like a kicked puppy and cowering on the couch.
âwhatâs going on?â seonghwa, who had been trying to pay attention to the television is now alerted to the conflict between his friends when mingi almost sat right on him.
âmingi convinced (y/n) that they just need to make yunho jealous in order to get him to make a move,â wooyoung plops down next to seonghwa, arms crossed in front of his chest and pout set on his face.
âand thatâs your problem because,â seonghwa trials off, gesturing for wooyoung to supply the rest of the sentence before placing a comforting hand on mingiâs arm.
âbecause,â wooyoung sighs, taking a deep breath before he finishes his sentence, âthey asked me to be their fake situationship.â
mingi pops up off the couch suddenly at wooyoungâs statement, looking just as surprised as wooyoung is sure he was in the cafe with you less than an hour earlier.
âi did NOT suggest they fake date one of our friends,â mingi explains, scrambling through the living room in search of, well, wooyoungâs not sure. âmy suggestion was to just get a little comfy with someone at a party or something,â he explains, pulling the pillow off from where heâd been sat and sighing in relief as he takes his phone into his hands, fingers flying across the screen in a panic.
âi donât see the issue,â seonghwa interjects, âitâs not like youâre actually dating and itâs not even like youâre fake dating if youâre not calling it official,â the oldest of the group shrugs, opening one of the boxes of pizza on the coffee table and pulling out a slice for himself. âplus itâs not like youâre interested in them or anything.â
mingi freezes at this, his behavior a complete 180 from only a few seconds ago as his gaze slowly drifts up from his phone to wooyoung who has stiffened next to seonghwa. the two youngest both let out audibly pained chuckles and seonghwa drops his plate dramatically back down onto the table.
âdonât tell me.â
wooyoung clears his throat loudly. âso i may have, like, the tiniest most insignificant crush on them,â he practically whispers, face feeling slightly warmer at the prospect of the situation heâs in, and certainly not his feelings for you.
seonghwa narrows his eyes at the youngest, a question on the tip of his tongue before mingi decides to supply the answer anyway.
âyouâve been in love with them for months, we all know.â
âi am not in love with them,â wooyoung shouts back, anger reignited as he focused back on the true root of the issue, mingi and his bright ideas. âyes i might think theyâre attractive, and yes i would like to date them for real, and maybe, just maybe, i do get a little jealous when they talk about yunho, but that doesnât mean i like them that much.â
wooyoung feels the energy fizzling out and his words get weaker as he observed the looks on his roommatesâ faces. mingi seems almost smug, like heâs been proven right, while seonghwa wears an amused grin, eyebrows raised slightly in satisfaction.
âyouâre sure about that?â
the next week, as heâs laying sprawled out on his best friendâs bed, yeosang busy putting away his freshly cleaned laundry, he sighs for what feels like the millionth time and the dark haired man at the closet has had enough.
âeither say something or stop sighing,â yeosang grunts, placing the last hanging item in the closet. as he moves to sit at his desk, wooyoung flips onto his stomach quickly, causing the bed to creek and him to bounce slightly.
âi just donât get it,â wooyoung says and yeosang resists the urge to groan. this is the same conversation the two had been having since wooyoung found out about your interest in yeosangâs roommate.
woo complains that he doesnât understand why you think yunho is so great and then yeo has to bring his friend back to reality by reminding him that yunho is actually a pretty great guy and that woo is the one who could change his own fate, if he just had the balls to admit he was interested in you. but of course wooyoung always manages to weasel out of the truth, claiming that he doesnât like you that much, or that you donât like him, which yeo thinks is shit considering the amount of times you started ditching him for his own best friend but heâs not a snitch.
itâs yeosangâs turn to sigh. âiâm not doing this again,â he mutters. âyunho is not a bad guy, in fact heâs a great guy, all of his previous relationships ended amicably, heâs not unattractive according to the people that have asked me to give him their number, and as far as i know he and (y/n) actually have quite a bit in common.â yeosang turns to wooyoung quickly, finding the younger man with a small pout gracing his features.
as wooyoung opens his mouth to possibly argue against one of the points his friend had raised, both men hear the familiar sound of the front door opening and yunhoâs usual greeting rings through the apartment. both boys suddenly feel like theyâve been caught, wooyoungâs eyes going wide for a moment as yeosang turns back to busy himself with the unfolded clothes on his desk.
âhey,â yunho says, poking his head through yeosangâs open door a few moments later. âthey were out of those macarons you like at the cafe so i got you a maple cinnamon roll instead, y/n suggested it.â
at the mention of your name wooyoung perks up, trying not to seem too eager at the mere thought of you.
âsorry woo, i didnât know you were over until after iâd ordered or i would have gotten you something,â yunho apologizes and wooyoung hates that he can tell itâs sincere.
wooyoung thinks it would be a lot easier to hate his best friendâs roommate if he was not actually such a nice guy. but he just canât hate him, he might dislike him a bit for being such a great guy and being the one to hold your attention, but honestly feeling anything but amicable toward the man just makes him feel guilty. itâs not yunhoâs fault you find him attractive and itâs certainly not yunhoâs fault that wooyoung canât just admit his feelings.
âyou ran into y/n?â yeosang asks, honestly not trying too hard to hide the glance he throws wooyoungâs direction.
yunho nods as he moves to fully lean against yeosangâs doorframe. âthey said they were stopping by the cafe before they were supposed to meet a friend.â
yeosang and wooyoung both nod in response, wooyoungâs a little more engaged while yeosang keeps looking between his two best friends.
âthey actually asked if you were over,â yunho continues, gesturing to wooyoung with a quick tick of his chin.
the younger manâs expression quickly shifts to confusion before heâs remembering your idea heâd been telling yeosang about only half an hour before. he tries to tone down the shock of hearing you ask about him as he asks, âreally?â
âyeah,â yunho chuckles slightly. âthey said you werenât answering any of their texts and that only happens when youâre with yeosang.â
before yunho is even done with his explanation wooyoung is digging through the slightly askew comforter heâd unceremoniously dropped himself and his phone onto once heâd arrived an hour ago. heâs not sure if you just made up the statement to prove to yunho that you two were close, as you truly didnât text each other much outside of making plans, but no matter if you were just trying to provoke yunho you had spoken the truth. just about every time you texted wooyoung he would drop everything to respond. mingi would call it being âdown badâ, and maybe wooyoung was learning to accept that fact about himself.
as wooyoung scrolled through the texts youâd sent him, a little update about how you think the plan is working and a picture of a cute dog that you said looked a little like him, which totally didnât make him blush, he hears yunho clear his throat.
âare you two,â yunho pauses as wooyoung glances up at him, finding the conversation to feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable. âare you two like a thing?â yunho finally asks, finding the setup of yeosangâs room to be more interesting as his friend watches a blush creep onto the tips of his ears.
itâs wooyoungâs turn to find the decor around him interesting as he replies, trying to remember everything youâd talked about, âi wouldnât call it a thing.â wooyoung shrugs trying to seem cool as he feels his heart beat creeping up into his throat.
he hadnât anticipated it being this hard. the man hadnât even lied about anything yet and he could still feel the guilt settling into the back of his throat, flavoring his words with a bitterness that held a strange mix of satisfaction, for getting to even pretend to know you in a more intimate way than his current competition, and regret, for agreeing to be apart of a plan that might cause one of his friends any distress.
âtheyâve just been talking about you a lot,â yunho adds and if wooyoung had a little less self control heâd probably have fallen right off yeosangâs bed. heâs too focused on the thought of you purposely mentioning him in conversation to others to think about how yunho would know, the older man probably having seen you more times than wooyoung had in the past week.
âi think theyâre in what you might call a situationship,â yeosang supplies when wooyoung doesnât respond, shrugging as if he has no interest in the information heâd just shared.
wooyoung bites his tongue as he takes a deep breath, mentally preparing to tell the biggest lie heâs probably told in his whole life, just as youâd agreed to. âyou remember that party their friend, whatever-her-name-was, had a few weeks ago?â
yunho nods gently, now able to look at wooyoung again after having determined that the conversation maybe wasnât that uncomfortable.
âwell we kinda,â wooyoung pauses, knowing itâs his last chance to back out before everything changes, and so he pushes forward with a sigh, âwe hooked up that night and weâve gotten together a few times since then.â
for wooyoung, it felt weird to say, the statement now just sitting in the air as he sees yunho trying to digest the information. he thought it might make him feel some way but instead he just feels empty, knowing that itâs entirely untrue. sure youâd left that party together, a fact that you had remembered and wanted to use in order to make your little fib realistic, but youâd both simply had enough of partying that night and gone for food at the convenience store on the corner before he walked you home. as far as wooyoung was aware, and he was pretty sure you didnât go anywhere after he left your doorstep, youâd both gone to bed alone that night. and yet wooyoung didnât feel like he could let himself daydream even the thought of you both actually doing anything then, the idea much too dangerous for the way heâd slowly started accepting what all his friends had been telling him about his affections recently. and even though he might be able to admit that he does have a crush on you, he certainly wasnât expecting to hear the question falling from yunhoâs lips.
âdo you love them?â
wooyoung could feel his stomach jump right into his throat, his heart plummeting at the same time and causing nausea to replace the guilt heâd been wadding in just moments earlier.
âuh i think love is maybe a strong term,â he tries to chuckle lightly but he can hear the awkwardness permeating the laugh. âbut i do like them.â
itâs the first time heâs admitted it without a caveat, and just like with the lie before, he feels the emptiness returning except instead of sitting deep into his stomach it fills his entire chest cavity, only stirring the nausea and making him feel like heâd much rather sink into the covers of his best friendâs bed than continue this conversation. heâs just not sure how much more he can say before he might actually vomit.
yunho nods slowly, a thoughtful look on his face, before he says, âi think you two would be good together.â
wooyoung is much too focused on staying grounded and not revealing the sickness that he feels to analyze whether yunho is telling the truth, a slight burn building in his chest of what he can only assume is bile, and at this point heâs not sure he wants to know what yunho thinks anymore. why did he agree to this?
âwell, that roll is on the counter whenever you want it yeo,â yunho continues, oblivious to the turmoil brewing in wooyoungâs mind and body. âsee you later woo.â
with that the man is gone, disappearing into his bedroom down the hall.
yeosang turns to his best friend quickly, ready to supposedly recap the conversation but stops in his tracks when he sees the look of pain on wooyoungâs face.
âhow am i gonna make it through this?â
âââââââââââââââ
the next week or so is filled with moments similar to this, where he has to look at yunho and lie straight to his face, straight to his own heart. and although yeosang assured that it would have to get easier at some point, wooyoung can feel heâs reaching his own breaking point.
throughout the process, as you execute your plan, you actually try to spend more time with wooyoung, starting with simple little outings that werenât too different from things you might do usually. at some point these outings morphed into full fledged dates, and every time wooyoung felt himself sinking into the idea that he might be able to just enjoy this for what it was, you were quick to mention the plan and pop the bubble that wooyoung had found solace in. although he feels something unfamiliar burning lightly in his chest he canât even fathom to be mad at you, too unbelievably happy in those moments where he could forget that you were faking it all.
âiâm not sure this is good for you anymore,â seonghwa had said one day after wooyoung had come home from a day out with you, plopping himself down onto the couch with an exhausted heart from the emotional roller coaster you were unknowingly taking him on.
wooyoung only let out a grunt, the sound muffled by the cushion his face was squished against, and seonghwa sighed in response.
âyouâre tearing yourself apart for them,â seonghwa tried to reason, his quest of stopping this little escapade youâd set yourself on as futile as always.
wooyoung was sure he was delirious at this point, fatigue settled deep into his body from the way he felt he was chasing every moment with you, and so the next words that slipped off his tongue were completely unvetted by his mind and entirely from the heart.
âhow else would i be able to love them?â
if seonghwa is surprised by the statement he doesnât show it, his face neutral as wooyoung turns to look at him, the older man now crouched next to where wooyoung lies. heâs not sure what reaction he expected, and he knows that he asked an unanswerable question, but somehow wooyoungâs not surprised when seonghwa reaches out to run a gentle hand up and down the youngerâs back.
the next words wooyoung speaks come out watery as he feels tears pricking at the back of his eyes and that unfamiliar burn returns to his chest, âtheyâll always love someone else.â
as much as seonghwa wants to argue, to point out that you shouldnât think in forevers and absolutes, right now he knows that his friend just needs comfort. so he moves to pull wooyoung so that heâs sitting, seonghwa moving into the space heâs created on the couch and taking his younger friend into his arms, letting him sob gently against his shoulder.
as if he couldnât feel bad enough about this entire situation, wooyoung wakes the next morning to a text from you. normally he might feel a bit giddy to hear from you but the message is nothing like any of the ones youâd recently started sending, casual conversations about your days and cute pictures of things that reminded you of him. it was cold, with a finite energy and wooyoung could feel it like a punch to the chest.
y/n: letâs break it off
wooyoung can barely perceive himself moving to message you back, feeling like heâs gone into autopilot. heâs tried to be prepared for this but with the way heâs allowed himself to feel with you for the past few weeks itâs almost as devastating as knowing that heâs been making himself comfortable inside of a lie. as he turns over to try to return to sleep he feels that same something unfamiliar burn in his chest.
âââââââââââââââ
âyou should go anyway,â yeosang says, looking down at wooyoung from his place on the couch.
wooyoung has taken to wallowing in self pity on the floor of his living room, mingi having forcefully pulled him out of the pitiful nest he had created of his bed a few hours ago upon seonghwaâs request.
âand see yunho all over them, no thank you,â wooyoung pouts.
the two of them had been talking about the party at yeosangâs, and by extension yunhoâs, place since yeosang had arrived just over an hour ago. the party was supposed to be the final phase of the plan, when you would confront yunho, with the help of the alcohol that would surely be in your system, and wooyoung was obviously less than enthusiastic to see you complete the last stage of the plan. his best friend had been arguing that he could reasonably avoid you the entire night and be able to have fun anyway, but wooyoung wasnât in the mood to have fun in the first place.
âif you just stay by the beer pong table the whole night iâm sure youâll be able to avoid them,â mingi supplies helpfully, to which wooyoung whines in response.
âand have a perfect view of the rest of the room, where everyone else will be having the time of their lives, yeah great, very cool,â wooyoung spits sarcastically, limbs flailing about around him as he tries to push away the mental images of all of his friends getting to have a great night while he tries to keep from silently crying into his cup in a corner.
âso youâre just never going to go to another party?â seonghwa asks, stepping over his roommate as he goes about tidying the living room, setting things that had migrated amongst the room back where they belong.
wooyoung stops at this, turning over quickly so he can toss seonghwa, who spares no glance to him, a questioning look. âwhat do you mean?â
seonghwa just shrugs, dusting an empty shelf before he reorganizes the knick-knacks that would sit on it. âwell, if youâre avoiding this party because you donât want to see them together, then youâre going to have to avoid every party where you know theyâll be, which will likely be every party youâre invited to,â seonghwa explains, enunciating slowly as though wooyoung is only a child.
âand if youâre just avoiding anything theyâll be at together are you going to stop coming to group hangouts, or anything either one of them is at in fear that the other person will show up,â seonghwa continues, oblivious to the way wooyoung seems to be melting into the floor as he realizes how crazy his logic from earlier sounds now that the eldest is breaking it down like this. âso are you just going to stop being friends with both of them?â
wooyoung lets out something akin to a growl as he flops once more onto his back, his legs kicking in the air as he knows that heâs been cornered. âi get it,â he whines, hands smacking gently against his face in defeat.
âif you just rip the bandaid off now itâll be so much easier,â yeosang adds, âyou wonât have built it up more than you have already.â
âi hate when youâre all right.â
so, with the caveat that he can hang onto one of his roommates the whole night for emotional support, wooyoung finally agrees to attend the party.
âââââââââââââââ
âhave you been avoiding me?â
wooyoung knew it was a bad idea to come to this cafe, the same one he had made that stupid agreement with you at, the one where you might be found more often than not, your favorite cafe. and if any of his friends were here with him they might just call him an absolute idiot, yeosang might even call it masochistic, to think that he could avoid you in the one spot you were sure to be.
âavoiding you?â wooyoung hears himself speak before he is even able to process what he should say, his nerves too frazzled by your proximity, standing closer than he thinks you ever have before. it certainly doesnât help that with the warmer weather lately youâve taken to start cycling your summer clothes into your wardrobe, your outfit today including one of your favorite tank tops, showing off the soft skin of your collarbone and shoulders. wooyoung has to use all of his self control to not reach out and brush his fingertips against you, tracing shapes into your skin and feeling you shudder beneath his gentle touches.
heâs snapped suddenly out of the trance he had been sinking into when you speak again, âyou havenât been answering any of my messages.â
at this wooyoung moves his gaze to your face and although he can see the teasing smile that graces your lips he can still spot a bit of disappointment swimming in your eyes.
âiâm sorry,â he replies, sounding much too genuine for the way you had seemed to be trying to hide your true disappointment in the playfulness of your usual cadence you adopted around him, and he feels the familiar pool of guilt start to fill the void that heâd been keeping in the pit of his stomach since youâd broken things off.
as you stand before him, forcing him into your personal space and looking at him expectantly, he thinks back to his decision to turn off notifications from your number, one that all of his friends had already torn him to shreds for. at the time he had reasoned that it was to protect himself from the repeated heartbreak he would suffer every time he might interact with you. unfortunately, in making this decision he hadnât thought about what his seemingly sudden disappearance from your life might do to you, he hadnât considered that he might be hurting you, and the guilt only grows.
you seem to be slightly taken back by his apology, likely not expecting him to reply in earnest, taking a moment to collect yourself before you state, âso you admit it, you were avoiding me,â although it comes out as more of a question, your head tilting gently as you seem to be inspecting the man before you, and wooyoung hates that he feels so exposed.
you arenât even aware of the way you hold wooyoungâs heart in your hands but the longer you stand dissecting his expression the more he feels like your grip on it is too tight. he canât tell whether you want him to answer honestly, or if you even care if he does, his mind is far too clouded by the scent of your shampoo along with the hurt he can see you trying to hide behind the confusion in your eyes, and he feels the familiar prickle of tears forming in his own.
he watches as your own features turn to concern, but before either of you can move to speak again, youâre both thrust out of the moment as someone behind you asks, âare you two going to move? youâre holding up the line.â
and suddenly wooyoung feels like the entire world can see him, pathetically crying over a person stood directly in front of him, and he needs to get out.
heâs not sure how he manages to make it out of the cafe with his vision as watery as it is, tears now fully rolling down his cheeks, but he assumes muscle memory simply kicked in as he finds himself briskly walking in the direction of his apartment.
âwooyoung!â he hears you call behind him and for a moment he considers stopping but then he feels that familiar burn in his chest, the same one he felt when youâd broken things off, and in a moment of clarity, as his feet carry him further from the agreement youâd both made, he realizes what it is, anger. although heâs never felt anger like this before, anger that roots itself into that guilt heâd been building for the entire time youâd pretended to be something. so itâs not an anger he can quickly pick apart and resolve, no, itâs an anger that feels like it feeds off of everything heâs been through for the past month. heâs angry at himself, for being so stubborn for so long, at his friends, for pushing for him to reanalyze his feelings, at the situation, for being so complicated, at yunho, for being the one you want, at the plan, for making everything worse, and most importantly at you.
his feet suddenly come to a halt, and you must have been closer behind than he thought because just a moment later he feels you running right into his back, not having expected him to actually stop.
âwhat do you want from me?â he spits, whipping around and causing you to jump in surprise.
âwooyoung,â you begin softly, feeling his gaze sharp and strong, âwhatâs wrong?â
âyou want to know whatâs wrong?â he laughs, the sound void of any real humor. âyouâre whatâs wrong.â
you try not to react, knowing that he probably doesnât mean what heâs saying, but he can see the way your hands, that had been hesitantly reaching toward him, suddenly drop to your sides.
âyou and your goddamn plan,â he starts. âwhy couldnât you have just fucking talked to yunho yourself instead of dragging me along for your own fun? youâre so goddamn selfish it doesnât even cross your mind that other people might get hurt by the shit you think up. but it doesnât matter to you does it? no one elseâs feelings and emotions really matter as long as you can get what you want in the end. how long are you gonna string along yunho before you have to tell him youâre a liar and break his heart too? how many other guys are you going to hurt and then manipulate into feeling guilty for protecting themselves from you, huh?â
by the end of his rant heâs shouting, surely attracting attention from anyone else just trying to go about their lives that might happen to pass you both on the sidewalk, but wooyoung couldnât care less, each word cooling the burn in his chest and laced with the anger that he can no longer stand to house inside of himself.
âwooyoung, please-â you try to start, but he must miss the watery way you speak and how your own tears now threaten to join his on the sidewalk as he interrupts you.
âi wish i could just stop loving you,â and with his final peace spoken he turns and begins, once again, the trek home, an inexplicable exhaustion weighing down his steps.
he barely even registers that you donât follow.
âââââââââââââââ
âJUNG WOOYOUNG WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?â
when he had returned home to an empty apartment, he felt like it was the only good thing that had happened to him in the last month, but then, as he sat in silence, calming his nerves and slowing his racing heart, his actions from the last half hour began to sink into his conscious. he knew his friends would find out what he had done sooner or later, but he certainly didnât expect to find four of them bursting through his front door in a fury only minutes after heâd arrived.
hongjoong, always the voice of reason, had been the one to shout and announce their presence, his boyfriend, and wooyoungâs roommate, in tow. both men were visibly upset, although reasonably so, and if mingi didnât have a gentle hold on seonghwaâs wrist wooyoung is sure the eldest would have tackled him to the ground by now.
âi knew you were an idiot but man,â yeosang says, bringing up the rear.
âso,â wooyoung tries, looking anywhere but his friends, âhow was lunch?â
hongjoong takes a breath, likely trying to calm himself as he replies, âgreat, we even ran into a friend,â sarcasm heavy on each syllable.
âoh really?â wooyoung asks just above a whisper.
âyeah,â hongjoong nods harshly with an angry smile, âwe wouldâve invited them to join us had they not been FUCKING SOBBING,â he ends shouting.
âah,â wooyoung tries, wishing the couch might just swallow him whole. âso you ran into y/n iâm guessing.â wooyoung lets out an awkward cough, releasing a humorless chuckle as he finally glanced back up at his friends.
âiâm going to ask this again,â hongjoong starts once more, taking several large breaths with his eyes closed to presumably calm himself. âwhat is wrong with you?â
âwhat did you do?â mingi takes a turn to speak up, releasing his hold on seonghwa who moves to run a soothing hand along his boyfriendâs back.
wooyoung canât find the energy to recount the details of your entire encounter, and he also doesnât feel like being berated for every little misstep heâd taken throughout your interaction, so he resolves to try summarizing the last half hour for the four men that are giving him some of the most expectant looks heâs probably ever seen. âwe-uh,â he starts, as eloquently as usual, âwe ran into each other and i may have cried and then i may have gotten angry and then i may have, uhm, madethemcry.â his last three words come out as one as he tries to get them out as quickly as possible, hating the way they taste rolling off his tongue.
and now, as the four men that had been listening so closely are thrown into a flurry once more by his statement, he begins to digest his own statement. he made you cry, and heâs sure if the room wasnât filled with the voices of four of his friends arguing, the crack he feels in his heart would echo against the walls around him.
âi also told them i loved them,â wooyoung says again, barely above a whisper and yeosang is quick to shush the other three.
âyou what?â
âi told them i loved them,â he repeats before quickly clarifying, âwell it was more like i told them i wished i didnât.â
and that set them all off again, each of his friends shouting over each other, and wooyoung just sunk into himself, the image of your tear stained cheeks at the front and center of his mind.
after what wooyoung might consider a pretty reasonable 15 minutes of being reminded how he has fucked up in pretty much every way possible, mingi was the first to calm down, always the one to move through his emotions quickly, and yeosang was soon to follow. seonghwa was the next to cool off, half way through a shouted sentence remembering the moment just a week ago in which heâd comforted wooyoung on the same couch he stood in front of now. hongjoong didnât get the chance to simmer down, seonghwa pushing him to go home before he could pop a blood vessel.
âwhat are you thinking about?â yeosang asks, sitting himself next to wooyoung on the couch.
âhow stupid i am,â wooyoung sighs, staring up at the ceiling.
yeosang sighs, placing a tentative but comforting hand on wooyoungâs bicep. âyouâre not stupid,â yeosang says, âyouâre just in love.â
wooyoung lolls his head to the side, getting a good view of his friend to see if he was joking, but all he found was sincerity, and a little pity, in the gentle smile on yeosangâs face.
âââââââââââââââ
saturday
y/n: letâs break it off
woo: sure
sunday
y/n: hey, i just told yunho
y/n: just figured you should know
tuesday
y/n: can we talk?
wednesday
y/n: everything okay?
today
y/n: i really need to tell you something
that night wooyoung opens your chat and feels even worse about everything that happened today, but before he can tumble into a cycle of self pity once again, he feels his phone vibrate in his hand.
y/n: are you still going to the party tomorrow?
wooyoung practically tosses his phone in the air with the way he jumps up in surprise, fingers flying across the keyboard to respond. he types out and deletes his message at least five times before he hits send, debating if he should take this moment to apologize in fear that he wonât ever get the chance again. in the end he decides to just answer your question, straight and simple, not wanting to fuck up anything else.
woo: yeah
and in the minute he waits for a response he feels like his nerves are on fire, mentally berating himself for his answer. he should have apologized, or said something else, anything else. you probably wanted him to do more, address what happened earlier in the day, but of course he couldnât even do that right. so wooyoung starts that spiral again, sinking into the depths of his own mind, until he feels his phone vibrate.
y/n: cool
y/n: iâll see you there
wooyoung can barely sleep that night, either replaying his mistakes from the day or rehearsing the apology he had to give you at the party.
âââââââââââââââ
yeosang had managed to rope wooyoung into helping with the set up at his and yunhoâs apartment for the party, claiming it would help him to get his mind off of things, but as wooyoung knocks on his best friends door, he can feel the anxiety creeping up as he tries to think of a plan for if yunho were to open the door instead of yeosang. wooyoung is so lost in his nerves he doesnât realize that yeosang has answered until the older man speaks.
âwhy are you shaking?â yeosang asks, confusion clear on his face as he opens the door wider for the quaking man in question to enter.
âuh, yunho,â is all wooyoung says, as he inspects the state of the apartment.
streamers and other miscellaneous decorations are thrown about the entrance area and living room, the beer pong table already set up in the corner farthest away from the hall to yeosang and yunhoâs bedrooms, giving it the best view of the open concept living room and kitchen, and wooyoung tosses around the idea of mingiâs suggestion. he would certainly be able to see when you arrive so he can catch you before you lose yourself in the party tonight.
âoh, he and mingi went to pick up the stuff for drinks,â yeosang shrugs, âi thought mingi would have told you.â
wooyoung just shakes his head before yeosang starts instructing him on what he needs to do, placing the younger in charge of setting up the kitchen while yeosang gets everything hung up in the entrance and living areas.
for the first half hour, wooyoung does have to admit that he is more focused on decorating and organizing the snacks, making sure to leave room for drinks, than the apology he has perfected that had been swirling through his mind all day. he busies himself with which color balloon should be where and whether he should put the salty and sweet together or mix them up a bit so one side doesnât get more crowded than the other, of which he decides to mix them together, instead of how he should open the conversation heâs dreading. of course as he finally starts managing to sink himself into his task all the way he hears a throat clear behind him.
expecting it to be yeosang who has some little complaint about the way wooyoung hung the streamers or how he should at least put the cookies all together he just says, âi donât want to hear it.â
instead of one of yeosangâs usual quips wooyoung is surprised to hear a much deeper voice, laced with confusion. âwhat?â
wooyoung is quick to whip around, ending up face to face with, a slightly amused but mostly puzzled looking, yunho who has a bottle of tequila in one hand and some sort of mixer in the other, a few bags scattered on the floor near his feet.
âsorry,â wooyoung is quick to move, gesturing to the empty space on the counter. âthought you were yeosang,â wooyoung explains, stepping as far out of yunhoâs way as he can.
yunho just chuckles lightly, as he sets the two bottles down, turning to wooyoung, âi figured.â
to wooyoungâs surprise yunho doesnât move to unpack any more of the bags, instead leaning up against the counter and crossing his arms over his chest.
âhe went out to grab another cord for the speakers,â yunho explains, âwe always manage to loose one.â
wooyoung just nods slowly, his gaze flickering between the decorations still left to be used and the bags that still need to be unpacked, and just as wooyoung is about to move back to do one of those tasks, yunho speaks up again.
ây/n told me,â he says and wooyoung freezes completely, feeling his heart plummet into his feet. he prepares himself for any of the rage that yunho might be about to throw his way, even trying to mentally steel himself for the way yunho will surely laugh at him for telling you that he loved you. how could his love compare to that which is reciprocated by someone you actually wanted.
âi still mean what i said,â yunho continues and wooyoung dares to glance at his friend. âi think you two would be good together.â
now itâs wooyoungâs turn to be puzzled. for a moment he wonders if yunho is sick at all because he certainly wouldnât tell another guy, especially one that made his crush cry, that they would be good together but with the way yunho doesnât react to wooyoungâs confusion wooyoung fears that maybe the sleep deprivation has finally caught up to him.
âi know that it was supposed to be all pretend but i donât think you were lying when i asked you if you loved them,â yunho continues and wooyoung shakes his head like it will clear out his thoughts. âyouâre a pretty open book.â
wooyoung decides he might as well bite the bullet and asks, âwhat did they tell you?â
âthat it was fake,â yunho replies easily, âthe situationship.â
wooyoung wishes that his answer cleared anything up but instead it only leaves him feeling more lost. does yunho like you? does he know about yesterday? do you still like yunho? wasnât the end of the plan the party? that had to mean that you ended the plan early, did it not work out?
âi hope it works out for you,â yunho concludes, leaving wooyoung to stand mindlessly in the middle of the kitchen as the older man goes about setting up the drinks.
âthanks,â is all wooyoung can say in response and suddenly the party canât start soon enough.
âââââââââââââââ
when itâs half an hour past go time and you still havenât arrived, heâs tempted to text you but he decides against it when he realizes heâs not sure what he would even say. mingi had been reassuring him that it was fine, turning to say so every time he would score in the game of beer pong he and a friend of a friend were playing, he thinks she introduced herself as yuri or yeji or something that started with a y but itâs hard for him to remember when his mind has been stuck on you for the last hour now.
âi told you they were pregaming at sanâs so you know itâs gonna take them forever,â mingi says before downing the cup in his hand, the girl across the table high-fiving her friend excitedly. âplus iâm pretty sure they were going to wait for jongho to get off work and swing by his place to grab him.â
wooyoung just nods quickly, feeling more uncomfortable by the second. he had decided to forgo drinking until you arrived, wanting to be sober when he talked to you but the longer he waited the more he was regretting that decision, the soda heâd been nursing for the last half hour going flat as it swished around his cup.
before he can start to overthink it, he leans in next to mingiâs ear, not wanting to yell over the music. âiâm gonna grab a drink,â he says, not waiting for his friendâs response before heâs pushing through the crowd of people dancing, making his way to the kitchen.
âthey here yet?â yeosang asks as soon as he spots wooyoung entering the kitchen, simultaneously handing an obviously tipsy seonghwa another drink.
âno,â wooyoung responds quickly, tossing the liquid in his cup into the sink before reaching for one of the bottles of soju on the counter.
seonghwa lets out a high pitched giggle, not hiding that itâs at wooyoungâs expense as the younger whips his head to stare daggers at his senior. âdonât you have a hongjoong to be hanging off of?â wooyoung spits and the phrase receives the reaction heâd intended, seonghwa quick to let out a squeaky âjoongie!â before making his way back into the clump of bodies wooyoung had just emerged from.
as he watches his oldest friend disappear into the crowd, yeosang following suit, wooyoung catches mingiâs gaze, eyes wide as he ticks his chin in the direction of the front door, and he knows what it means immediately.
youâre here.
he can see the top of your head slowly moving into the center of the crowd, presumably being pulled by none other than choi san, who wooyoung can see is already flushed when the crowd moves and he can catch glimpses of you both dancing together, a bright smile displayed on your face as you laugh at san. he wants to go to you but he feels like his feet are suddenly too heavy, unable to do anything but watch from a distance.
âjust the man i was looking for,â jongho says, clapping wooyoung on the back harshly, and successfully pulling him out of the trance youâd put him in.
âwhy?â wooyoung whines before he turns to jongho, seeing the smile that only his younger friend could lace with a scary sort of anger and wooyoungâs blood runs cold.
ây/n was just telling me about the interesting conversation you two had yesterday,â jongho says, his hand moving from wooyoungâs back up to his shoulder and squeezing harshly. wooyoung resists the urge to yell and instead tries to push the youngerâs hand away, ducking under his arm to try and escape.
âiâm going to apologize,â wooyoung is quick to explain, now facing jongho head on in hopes to stop any more of his friendâs attacks.
jongho just drops his smile, muttering a quick, âi hope so,â before he moves past wooyoung and toward the drinks.
once wooyoung is sure heâs no longer in danger of being on the wrong side of jonghoâs anger he quickly turns back to the crowd, scanning quickly for you or san. he spots san easy enough, having moved his dancing from the floor up onto the couch that had been pushed up against one of the walls. unfortunately youâre no longer with him and so wooyoung continues his search once more, although itâs starting to prove difficult as he realizes that more people must have arrived during his quick exchange with jongho, the living room packed almost wall to wall.
âwho are we looking for?â
wooyoung almost jumps three feet in the air as your voice registers so clearly, your mouth centimeters away from his ear so that you can speak without straining over the music. he places a hand firmly against his chest as he tries to calm his racing heart but when he turns to you he knows the attempt is futile.
âcan we talk?â wooyoung eventually manages out between staggered breaths, yelling over the music instead of opting to get closer to you, fearing that he might overstep some sort of boundary if he were to be inside of your personal space.
you only nod in response before you grab his wrist, and wooyoung barely registers where youâre pulling him off to as he focuses on the way your fingertips press into his skin. only once youâve closed the door behind you two, successfully muffling the music and voices enough to converse without shouting, do you release his arm and he recognizes the room as his best friendâs.
you make no effort to move away from wooyoung once youâve succeeded in locking the door behind him, ignoring the many extra feet of space that you could place between you both, and wooyoung isnât sure if heâs overthinking but he would like to assume itâs a good sign.
âi was looking for you,â wooyoung answers your question from earlier, feeling like his mouth is much too dry before he remembers heâs been holding a cup in his hand since youâd arrived and takes the smallest swig of the liquid inside. he notices you arenât holding a drink and debates about offering a sip of his own to you before ultimately deciding to just set it down on yeosangâs desk, leaning awkwardly to the side in order to reach.
âwhy?â you ask and wooyoung loses his balance for a moment, falling into you slowly before his feet find better support. if he hadnât felt hot enough with embarrassment just from starting to fall in front of you, heâs now overheating when he realizes youâd placed a hand on his chest to keep him from completely falling onto you, your palm feeling as though it might burn a hole through his shirt.
he clears his throat nervously as you retract your hand and he misses the searing heat of your skin almost immediately, itching to just grab your wrist and place your hand back. but he doesnât, because he respects you too much. he loves you too much.
âto apologize,â he finally admits, feeling the heat youâd gifted him moving up from his chest to his cheeks. âi-â he tries to breath, to remember the apology heâd been practicing in his mind, but itâs so much harder when youâre actually in front of him. your eyes, just as they had in the cafe before his outburst, make him feel exposed, sensitive. âiâm sorry for getting mad at you, i shouldnât have said what i did,â heâs able to continue, trying hard to return your gaze so that you may be able to spot the sincerity in this apology just as you had his last. âi didnât mean those things. i was,â he pauses, knowing this is the point in which he could still turn around, pretend that he wasnât upset for the reasons he was, and so he pushes through anyway. âi was angry at myself and you were just who i could take it out on. you didnât deserve that, iâm sorry.â
he searches your face for any change, desperate to see your usual expression replace the frown you sported and smooth out the current crease between your brows, and when your face doesnât change heâs once again tempted to reach out to you. he wants to just take your face into his hands, to gently message the tension from your temples and to place a gentle peck to the tip of your nose in hopes that he might get to see your smile up close once more before you might just vanish from his life forever.
but instead he keeps his hands firmly at his sides and says, âi wish i could take it all back.â
âall of it?â you ask quickly, your voice practically overlapping his own, and your expression does shift but wooyoung canât make out the difference.
neither of you speak then for what feels like an hour, your eyes determinedly set on his while you let wooyoungâs gaze flit along your face, trying to find his answer amongst your features, before he closes his eyes with a wobbly sigh.
âi donât want to stop loving you,â he says, eyes still closed, âbut i have to.â
he can feel his chest caving in, the emptiness heâd started calling home consuming him from the inside out as he finally says what heâd been teetering on the edge of admitting for the last month.
âwho told you that?â you question and if wooyoung could bare to open his eyes and actually look at you instead of finding cowardly safety behind his eyelids he is sure you would be wearing the same look of frustration heâs seen directed at him so many times before. although now he knows that it doesnât carry the same playfulness that usually makes him so endeared, the sparkle in your eye that encourages him to bring out that same look more and more.
wooyoung lets out a humorless chuckle, shoulders dropping heavily as he becomes hyper aware of the way heâs been tensing his entire body. âno one,â he says before scrunching up his face in hopes that it will quiet the urge for him to open his eyes and see your face once more. âeveryone.â
he hears you let out a huff before you comment, almost indignantly, âwell i didnât get a say.â
wooyoung canât recall a time heâs opened his eyes faster, tenderness quickly replacing the shock heâd felt when he sees you once more, your gaze now firmly set on the cup wooyoung had placed on yeosangâs desk and arms crossed over your chest, a pout on your lips. he feels the corners of his own lips ticking up in a fond smile.
âso,â he begins to ask, a hint of playfulness coloring his tone as he feels hope build inside of him, âwhat do you think i should do?â
heâs not sure if you were expecting his eyes to still be closed but as you bring your gaze back to wooyoungâs face he feels like he can easily spot a hint of nervousness beneath your determined expression. you both find yourself in silence once more, this time heâs the one to hold firm, your gaze now traveling along his skin.
âi love you.â
heâs sure if he was any farther from you that he wouldnât have been able to hear it, the words flowing along an exhale.
âwhat was that?â he asks, unable to contain the smile that overtakes his features, and he half expects for you to take it back playfully, to mess around with him, but then he watches as a determined smirk creeps onto your face.
âi said,â you start, leaning impossibly closer and placing your hand onto the same spot on his chest as you had earlier. âi love you.â
your lips are on his in an instant, almost imperceptible, the gentlest brush of skin, but wooyoung can feel it.
âi love you too,â he whispers against your lips before one of his hands moves to the back of your neck, the other wrapping around your wrist as he pulls you back into him.
of all the times heâd imagined kissing you, it was nothing like he expected, your lips remaining gentle against his no matter how passionate he became, and wooyoung knew instantly that he was already addicted. he was so utterly consumed by you, and he wouldnât have it any other way.
âââââââââââââââ
âyour drink, my love,â wooyoung says, placing a cup down on the table as he takes the seat next to you, his own coffee in his hands, while he places a gentle kiss against your temple.
âgross,â yeosang comments, watching you both from across the table before taking another bite of his macaron.
âyeah,â hongjoong agrees from his seat on your other side. âi didnât realize that you two getting together meant we would have to watch you both all over each other all the damn time,â he complains as his boyfriend rolls his eyes on the other side of the table.
wooyoung ignores his older friends in favor of grabbing one of the legs of your chair, pulling you toward him so that he can more easily rest his head against your shoulder. he smirks against your skin as he feels a shudder run down your spine when he turns his head to press his lips into the crook of your neck.
you and wooyoung are gathered with a few of your friends in the same cafe that set everything into motion, your favorite place, enjoying your first quiet afternoon as an official couple.
âcome on, i think theyâre cute,â mingi says, looking between yeosang and hongjoong, who both exchange disgusted looks.
you chuckle, the sound light and airy, making wooyoungâs heart float as he feels the vibrations through his own chest.
âthank you mingi,â you say with a hint of finality, ready for the attention to be away from you two.
youâre thankful that the conversation drifts into a new direction, yeosang mentioning something about the latest star wars movie and sending seonghwa into a spiral about his thoughts and opinions.
âthank you,â wooyoung whispers, lifting his head from your shoulder before resting it on his hand, his elbow propped on the table in front of you.
you send him a confused look, tilting your head gently, but with the way he stares at you, overwhelmed with devotion, you canât keep a tender smile from gracing your features. âfor what?â
âforgiving me,â he elaborates, taking your hand in his.
for a minute you simply bask in the genuine warmth of the moment, watching the way his gaze shifts to your hand as he starts to play with your fingers gently. youâre tempted to bring his own hand up to your lips and let the whole situation stay genuine, but you just canât keep from teasing.
âwho says i forgave you?â
wooyoung is quick to look back up at your face, eyes wide with worry as he lifts his head from his hand, now using both of his hands to hold one of yours. you watch the worry melt away as a pout takes over his features, seeing the playful smirk on your own.
you can hear the whine building in his throat before he even opens his mouth, your gentle giggles matching his volume. âbabe,â he groans, dropping his shoulders as he pulls your hand against his chest.
once youâve calmed down enough from your giggle fit, you reach the hand heâs not holding up to hold his face, watching with adoration as he turns his head to press his lips into your palm before he leans fully into your touch.
as you both sit, just savoring the moment, wooyoung canât help but reflect on how you both ended up here. so, as he falls deeper into his romantic haze, he canât help but let you know, âi love to love you.â

I havenât decided on the Romantic pairing yet but for certain the very least will be platonic!OT8. I have an idea on possibly a Mingi fic? Let me know what you think!Â
Yunho gave a warm smile to the frail woman huddled in the corner. Dusting his hands off from fixing the window shutters. The small, almost derelict, store makes home for her and her family.Â
Ateez has helped many people. Those not yet swept away but the mindless erasure of free will. The eight saviors had migrated the blessed citizens to an abandoned town. A town that was once bustling with community, now crumbling and broken. Prince Maddox's men had cleared out all signs of life a while ago. It had been the first town they started with â it was unlikely they would go back.Â
Yunho gave a tight, uncomfortable smile at the woman's gratitude and thanks. If he had his way, there would be no royalty at all. Instead, a council of sorts ran by the people of Halatia. His views meant nothing now.Â
The tall man set about his day, fixing and clearing the small problems he was able to make the ruined buildings as homely as possible. Come nightfall, the perimeter fence needed to be secure enough to stop the nightcrawlers.Â
Whatever experiment Prince Maddox was injecting into his subjects seemed to make them susceptible to sunlight. It worked in their favor, really. The zombified flesh eaters were results of one's body rejecting the experiment. They couldn't stand the sunlight one bit.Â
Granted, they still had to be careful.. Just because the small town was left alone didn't mean the patrol men didn't wander through once in a few moons. Â
Yunho startled, a strong hand clapping down on his left shoulder. He was so lost in thought he hadn't sensed the cheerful, brunette man come up behind him. Wooyoung couldn't help but laugh in amusement, teasing his friend for being 'away with the fairies'.Â
"You're back from forage already?" The older man questioned with light surprise. A noise of confirmation came from the other â the sound in itself didn't sound too promising and as Yunho took a glance to the rucksack hanging off one of Wooyoung's shoulders, he could see that it wasn't even half full.Â
"Did you get anything on the list?" The hint of doubt in his tone made Wooyoung roll his eyes.Â
"Of course I did! Who do you take me for?" He dropped a lean shoulder, letting the bag drop to the crook of his elbow. Wooyoung hastily unzipped it, yanking apart the two sides to reveal some of the bag's contents. "There's still a bunch of untouched vehicles about two towns over, on the IntersectionâŠCouldn't remember how many we needed so Mingi and I grabbed what we could before we heard the patrol sirens."Â
"Patrol sirens? You think they're headed this way? We should tell Captain." Yunhoâs careful gaze scanned around the makeshift village around them, catching sight of their leader in the old mechanics garage.Â
The older male had the handle of a worn pair of cable strippers propped in his mouth, eyes squinted in concentration as he twisted delicate strands of copper wire together. His hands adorned with black faux leather fingerless gloves, the crease of the palms worn away from the cheap quality. The captain wore loose, flair bottom pants, the rounded toes of his boots peaking from the bottom.Â
With a nod of agreement, Wooyoung parted from his friend to make his way over. âHey Joong-â he called, cut off by Hongjoong holding up his index finger as a sign for the younger to wait.Â
Hongjoong held the wire still with two fingers, free hand removing the pliers from their hold between his lips to replace them. His strong grip clapped the pliers shut to enable him to solder the wire in place on the small circuit board on his work bench. Only when he was finished, did he turn to Wooyoung, raising an eyebrow expectantly.Â
âYouâre going to tell me about the sirens arenât you?â he hummed, flexing his fingers to sooth the ache of wiring for many hours.Â
âDâyou thing they could be patrolling through here tonight?â There was an edge to the youngerâs tone.Â
Their leader threw himself down on the bench seat with a deep sigh, shoulders glistening with a light sheen of sweat as he shrugged them. âWe should put out a warning of shut down just incase. The eight of us can hide in here, San fixed the lock this morning.â
Shut down. In other words, to hide all traces of human life. To keep still and quiet until Prince Maddoxâs patrol crew had done their sweep through of the town. It was allot of work to pull off but it was the first safety procedure the 7 of them had worked out upon setting up home in the village.Â
The rest of the evening went by quickly, Ateez working tirelessly to secure their home and people before settling into the garage just before nightfall. Jongho huffed a quiet breath of nerves as he slid the final lock in place on the door, his footsteps nothing but a whisper along the floor as he made his way to the bank of screens and camera feeds where the rest of his friends were watching like hawks.Â
They knew the drill by now. Each watching a different set of screens for any sign of the patrolmen. Yeosangâs tremoring hands rubbed at his tired eyes, the corners scrunching as he squinted at his screens.Â
A glimpse of a hand caught his eye from the main gate feed. It was quick and he wondered if it was just sleep deprivation playing tricks on himâŠ. Until the figure came fully into view. A rush of tangled hair, trembling limbs and paranoid eyes sprinting away from something. Yeosang lightly tapped the arm of the person closest to him to get their attention, nimble fingers silently pointing to the figure as to not make any sudden noise. He felt Seonghwa place a palm on his shoulder as he leant closer to look. The woman exited the frame, followed a few seconds later by a patrolman. His mouth was moving, the male shouting something toward her direction as he aimed his weapon. Seonghwa and Yeosang watched him fire, their breathing stopped. Had he hit his target?Â
With a single glance up to Mingiâs bank of cameraâs, neither of them saw the figure move from the blindspot. Not for a few minutes at least, the gate feed still showing the lone, masked patrolman facing the direction of his shot. Eventually, he moved forward. Casually strolling, head tilted in almost curiosity. It was only mere seconds before he was out of sight.Â
Not for long, his limp body was seen landing still in the view of the next camera, just the other side of the blindspot with a pointed branch impaled through his abdomen. Blood spilled from around the wound. It seemed everyone was watching the same feed now, still and unmoving. Yeosang wanted to speak, he wanted to ask his friends if they thought the woman was okay but he knew the risks of speaking and making sound too early.Â
They knew the patrolman would likely be nightcrawler food when the pitch black settles over the sky. It felt like hours of waiting to be sure the coast was clear, in reality it was only between ten and fifteen minutes.Â
âThey must have been on the outskirts.â Honjoong hummed quietly, His eyes flickering from camera to camera to try and get a glimpse of the figure again. Perhaps she was still in the blind spot. Nobody had seen her leave it, if she was injured they would have to get to her fast before the nightcrawlers come out from their hiding.Â
âShould we⊠Should we see ifâŠâ Seonghwa trailed off, somehow the heavy weight of his unfinished sentence was enough for them to understand. Should we find out if sheâs dead?

September 9th, Tuesday, 12:40 AM.
Wooyoung was walking along the breeze of the sidewalk, looking out into the waterâs darkness, building lights off and the city sounding peacefully quiet.
Dark clouds that were barely visible in the sky, and the only audible noise being that of the light breeze that pushed against the trees.
feeling awfully calm after everything that just happened, annoyance and anger brushing away from his mind.
Stopping for a moment and looked down at his pocket, the only light source was that of his phone. He sighed, grabbing his phone from his pocket and dismissing the call.
He was tired of all the calls he had received that night. After all, he didn't feel in the right mood to answer correctly, he knew he was just gonna be a jerk to anyone who was on the other side of the phone.
Among checking the time on his brightened phone screen, he read 12:43.
It was time to go home, and he knew it, but he wouldn't be at peace yet.
Wooyoung and you had gotten into a bit of an argument, it went from a little chat to full on screams. Although you and Wooyoung had argued before, it had never gotten so bad to the point that he left your apartment before you got to say anything.
This was the first time you both went full on yells, first time one of you left before you could make up. Everything on his mind was so blurry that he couldn't remember the last thing he said before storming out.
But he could remember your words clear as day.
Part of him felt guilty⊠for yelling at you the way he did, for losing his temper the way he did, for not understanding your way of thought.
He couldn't be at ease with himself until he apologized, and of course, he needed an apology too. Your argument in general seemed silly, but at one point it just became a load of insults, which was when he lost it completely.
All of a sudden, he spotted a small light in the distance. It was a small bar at the end of the street, he'd been there a few times with San, enough to know that it was only ever busy during the early hours of the night.
Although he didn't have the intention of getting drunk, he decided it would be helpful to have a drink or two, everything that he remembered was bothering him, and he wanted to spend time in a silent, secluded area where he wouldn't run into anyone.
Wooyoung entered the small building, the bar was empty except for the bartender, who automatically noticed Wooyoungâs tired and exhausted expression, he could tell he had cried for a few minutes.
âWhat would you like?â Wooyoung sat down on the counter, and looked at the bartender.
âJust one shot for now.â The bartender nodded, and served him his drink.
âAnything you'd like to share?â The bartender sounded quite sincere, and concerned for him, Wooyoung shaked his head.
âJust normal partner arguments.â The bartender nodded.
âEven those can affect someone badly, it might just be a normal part of relationships but to some it's really serious.â
Wooyoung, again, just nodded.
âI can tell you really love your girlfriend.â Wooyoung drank his glass and placed it on the table.
âMore than anything.â
Right that instant, another call rang⊠the phone which was on the table laying flat, lit up and buzzed as the incoming call rang.
â⥠Yn âĄâ
The bartender looked at Wooyoung, already knowing that it was his girlfriend, Wooyoung who was looking back at him, quickly looked back at his phone screen and moved his finger to the decline button.
The bartender quickly looked back up at Wooyoung in shock.
âYou can pick up! You probably need it right nowâŠâ
âSheâs been calling me nonstop, I just need a break.â
The bartender leaned back from his tense position, bringing his arms back down to their original state.
âWhat-?â Wooyoung scooted his glass over, while leaning on the table.
âI love her⊠but I just need tonight off.â Wooyoung got up from his seat, and pushed his chair in.
âThanks for the chat. I hope you have a lovely night.â
The bartender watched him as he left. âYes, of course.. you too.â
After his visit, he went back home, and finally got some rest. However the next morning he woke up early, took a shower and made his way to your apartment.
âComing!â The scream of your lovely voice echoed through your room, he couldn't help but smile at your rushed self who continued dropping things on the way to the door.
He saw the familiar decorations start coming into view, the same lights he saw yesterday, the same kitchen, the same hallway, and best of all, the same face.
âWooyoung!â You gasped, almost not believe your eyes upon seeing him in front of your room.
âI thought you were upset..â you said lowly, almost inaudible.
âWe need to talk.â the words coming out of Wooyoungâs mouth was one of the scariest things you could hear. Things started circling in your head, was this the end of your relationship? Was this the end of your memories together?
âStop overthinking. I'm not breaking up with you.â
He welcomed himself in your apartment, you turned around in shock, if he wanted to visit he should've told you in advance.
âWooyoung, unless you wanna wait then get out, I'm leaving for work.â
âCancel it.â You turned around, trying to control yourself from saying something nasty to your boyfriend.
âI can't -â
âDo you wanna make up or make money? Your choice.â
You bit your lip at the question, trying to find an answer to give him, something that wouldn't sound rude.
âIâm visiting you right now because I have time. I'll be busy for a while, so we either make up or end it now.â
Stumbling over your words, you barely got out your sentence starter, before you were able to ask:
âWhy break up??â
Wooyoung turned to face you again with a confused expression..
âBecause we'll technically be in an argument for a really long time, since I won't see you in a few months.â
âAnd we have to break up because of a stupid tour?â
âAnd you can't talk because of your stupid job?â
Wooyoung stood over you, his normal joking pitch was gone, he began to sound angry. You pushed his last button and you knew it.
âIâm sorry, I know these tours are important to you, I didn't think twice about my words just now.â
âForget it, if I can't communicate with you then it's ove-â
âDon't say that pleaseâŠâ He squeezed his eyes shut while hearing your saddened voice. You were about to cry and it was his fault.
He promised he would never make you cry, and here he was carelessly threatening you.
âI'm sorry, I couldn't break up with you even if I tried, please don't cry.â He pulled you into a hug, grabbing his hoodie and attempting to be strong, holding your tears and not allowing him to see your weak side.
âI hate you so muchâŠâ Wooyoung let out a small chuckle and held you tighter.
âNo you don't⊠I can be a jerk⊠but you could never.â
You hit him, it was your way of saying âshut upâ to him, all he did was laugh a bit, while pulling your face from your hidden state and bringing you in front of him.
It was unexpected, you felt his lips touch yours in a warm manner, the innocent kiss soon became wet, and getting more aggressive.
It would've escalated if you hadn't pushed him away.
âWhy now? Weren't you just threatening me?â
âYou know I didn't mean it⊠this is my way of telling you that I still love you, that will never changeâŠâ

The bathroom ceiling was decorated with beautiful and intricate designs, all handpainted by the Royal familyâs personal painter. Youâve been told that the painter had spent days lying on his back to make the scenery that currently overlooked your bathtub. The inspiration came from the first spring after the long, brutal, and deadly winter your Kingdom endured many years ago. Your eyes followed the swells of white clouds that stretched over the light blue paint and the flocks of birds that stretched their wings and embraced the rebirth of warmth and beauty. Of course, that was just what the painter pictured it to be. But to you, the painting was nothing but a cruel reminder of what you could never have. You stared up at this grand ceiling from your bathtub every night, growing sick from the constant reminder that you were stuck. You felt like a bird being held prisoner in its cage, forced to look at everyone else flap their wings and fly away from this godforsaken place.
After the untimely death of your parents, and there being no male heirs to the throne, the Court decided with great hesitation to pass the crown down to you. No one wanted a girl Queen. Just the thought of you as a ruler gave the Kingdom great anxiety. A girl Queen meant a vulnerable Kingdom, and no one was equipped to handle an invasion. Understanding this sentiment at such a young age, you made it your duty to prove everyone wrong. You wanted to show them that you were capable, if not more capable than your father, of being a leader. Even with your accomplishments at peace and prosperity during your years of reign, that sentiment remained unchanged. You learned that no matter what you did, no one would take you seriously as Queen. And with that, your efforts faltered and you went on autopilot.
There were whispers in the court about an unnamed Prince who was interested in her Royal Highness. The lone Prince was said to have been planning to propose to you and merge both Kingdoms under one rule. The Court took a likeness to the idea. You were bombarded by them, along with the Chief Minister to at least consider marrying him. There were too many reasons not to say no: More land, financial security, and of course, more respect and stability with a man by your side. It amazed you just how much they trusted and respected someone they barely knew all because he had a dick.
You sunk yourself lower into the bath, resting your achy neck on the edge of the tub. You were under a lot of stress tonight after the Chief Minister announced to you that he invited this bachelor for you to meet tomorrow. You were angry, of course, but you were used to him doing things behind your back like this. He was a good friend to your father and looked to advise you as best as he could. But sometimes, he made you feel like you had no say in anything you did. You were just the face of the Kingdom, a puppet for him to puppeteer. As much as you wanted to fight it, you knew that at the end of the day, he would get his way and you will have to walk down that aisle sooner or later.
Honestly, there was no reason to be bothered by this in the first place. Being Queen was a difficult task. To have someone else take the wheel would be a godsend, and could finally take some stress off your shoulders. So why were you so upset?
Your thoughts were interrupted as you heard the bathroom doors open and shut from behind you, followed by a hesitant few steps forward. You knew exactly who it was from his timid footsteps.
âYouâre late.â You sighed in exasperation. Shutting your eyes, you sunk yourself even deeper into the water, sending some bubbles to splash out from the tub.
âI know. I apologize, Your Majesty.â After a beat of silence, Wooyoung walked over to the bathtub. Your eyes were still shut but you knew he was hovering over you now, most likely with a playful grin, with his hands tucked neatly behind his back as he obediently awaited his next order. However, when you fluttered your eyes open, you were met with the sight of your humble servant gazing down at you with a look of concern. It always amazed you just how beautiful he looked wearing any emotion- anger, sadness, contentment- it was worth more to look at than the eyesore that took over your bathroom ceiling. But of course, your favorite look on him was the look of lust. His half-lidded eyes, rosy cheeks, and parted lips while you sank down his length- that was a sight worth looking at.
âI wonât be needing you tonight. Iâll be retiring to my chambers soon. You should do the same.â You closed your eyes again and waited to hear his footsteps trail away. But he didnât move.
âIs something the matter?â he asked.
You wished heâd just obey and leave you alone. When you two first started, it was supposed to be just a physical relationship. But now it was intimate in a way that you never intended. And you worried if maybe he was too emotionally attached to you. Or maybe it was you that was attached to him.
âEverythingâs fine.â You prayed that was sufficient, but to your dismay, Wooyoung wasnât satisfied and he took it upon himself to sit on the edge of the tub and quietly wait for you to tell him what was really wrong.
âWooyoung,â you whined, âIâm just tired. Thatâs all.â
âI donât believe you.â
âAre you calling your Queen a liar? Iâm pretty sure thatâs treason.â
Your quick-witted reply earned you a chuckle and you were relieved to see him soften his expression for once that night. âFine. Donât tell me.â Wooyoung dipped his hand into the warm bath water and traced his fingertips up your thigh. You bit back a moan as his hand inched closer to your bare heat. âBut at least let me help you relieve some stress.â
Wooyoung rubbed your inner thigh and waited for you to part your legs. Hesitating at first, you eventually obliged and spread yourself open for him. He made an experimental swipe over your slit which already had you rolling your eyes back. He spread your lips apart, pouting when he saw your aching clit.
âYou spend all day taking care of this Kingdom, but who takes care of you?â He poked. It drove you mad when he spoke to you like this, a soft and barely audible whisper like he didnât want to talk over your moans. After massaging over your clit, he slid his fingers down to your entrance and pushed two fingers inside of you, smiling to himself as he watched you struggle to hold in your gasps.
âWooyoung!â You gripped his forearm tightly as he pumped his digits in and out of you. His pace was unforgiving and you tried desperately to hold on and control his movements. But Wooyoung was pissed and there was no way to tame him when he was like this. He didnât like when you kept things from him. He knew you were hiding something and he doesnât particularly like being out of the loop.
âShh..â he cooed, âjust relax and let me take care of you.â
He began curling his fingers inside of you, and this time you werenât able to hold in your moans. You were usually good at keeping quiet, afraid of nosy servants hearing what you were up to and spreading rumors that you took a lowborn as a lover. But Wooyoung thought if he couldnât get you to talk about whatâs bothering you, then he deserved to hear your loud and delicious moans as a replacement.
âToo fastâŠgonna cumâ you squealed, sending more water out from the bathtub as you jolted your hips up and down.
âAlready?â He grinned. âI barely even started.â
You opened your mouth to tell him to stop teasing, but the feeling of his thumb pressing over your needy clit took the words right out of your mouth. One hand gripped the bathtub, while the other was still holding onto his chiseled arm. Heat pooled in your lower stomach and Wooyoung could tell that it would only take another couple of pumps before you came undone for him. As much as you loved his skilled fingers swirling over your clit, you didnât want to finish so quickly and go back to another night of sleepless worry. You grabbed onto his hand to stop him from going any further.
âNot like thisâ you breathed. Wooyoung smirked, his fingers still deep inside of you.
âNo? Then how would you like me, My Queen?â
âYou know your place.â You pulled your legs up to your chest, hinting at him to get in with you. Nothing else was said as he quickly unclothed himself before slipping into the bath. Before you could climb over him, you took some time to admire how heavenly he looked right now: Wet hair slicked back with a few strands kissing at his forehead, and the way his collarbones glistened from being in the bubbly water. Wooyoung was second to none, incomparable to even the richest of Kings. You never admitted it to him, but sometimes you imagined him in a crown sitting beside you on the throne. Anyone who saw him wouldnât second guess that he belonged up there with you.
You straddled over him now, taking him into your hands to help him get ready for you. He kissed down your neck before making home on your breast, rubbing his lips gently over your nipples. They were more sensitive and raised now from being in the water for so long, and Wooyoung took advantage of that. He took your bud into his mouth as you stroked his stiff cock, the vibrations from his moans sending goosebumps all over your skin.
Wooyoung took his cock from you and lined himself up with your core. You let out a string of low and shaky moans, waiting for the moment that heâd finally enter and fuck all the useless thoughts out of your head. But Wooyoung had no intention of giving you what you wanted. Instead, he rubbed his tip along your slit in an agonizingly slow tempo, carefully brushing over your clit as he did so.
âWooâŠplease, canât wait any longer.â
He looked up at you with hazy eyes, waiting for you to make eye contact with him. But you couldnât get yourself to look him in the eye. âFirst tell me whatâs on your mind.âHe demanded.
You sighed, unhappy when you understood that he wasnât going to give you what you wanted unless you confessed. But the truth was, you yourself werenât sure what was bothering you. You just knew that you wanted to see him tonight and have him close. Part of you worried it would be the last time.
âI donât know what you mean.â
He sprayed your chest with soft kisses, speaking into your skin in a low voice. âDonât play dumb. Iâve known you long enough to know when somethingâs wrong.â He was circling his tip over your clit now. He knew it drove you crazy, all this stimulation when all you wanted was to feel full from his cock.
âWooyoung.â You hated begging. You hated that he wouldnât give you what you wanted, but you were too under his spell to do anything about it other than whine pathetically as he toyed with you like this.
Wooyoung only hummed in response, lips still nipping at your sore breasts. At first, you thought he finally gave up when you felt him push his tip into your entrance. You held onto his shoulders and anticipated the stretch but the anticipation soon turned to frustration once he pulled out, leaving you feeling empty again.
Defeated, your face fell to the crook of his neck and you groaned in annoyance. âI should just have you beheaded.â
He chuckled into your ear. âThen whoâll make you cum?â
Wooyoung continued on with his game, pushing just the tip into you before pulling himself back out. So many thoughts raced over your head, some making sense, some not, but one thing was for sure and that was that you couldnât bare to go on like this anymore.
âItâs you!â You admitted. âYouâre always on my mind and Iâm so tired of it! I hate you for making me feel this way, if I could go back in time I would stop myself from ever getting involved with you! Now will you just shut up and obey me for once?!â
Wooyoung was utterly dumbfounded. Although he understood that the true nature of your relationship was purely sexual servitude, he couldnât deny that heâd often wondered if you, like him, felt something more. After thinking it over, he understood your frustrations. He had heard the rumors about the proposal. He tried not to take it personally. He knew where he stood in this relationship. Being a Royal was stressful as it was, and it was his job to offer some much needed stress relief to the Queen. Even so, he couldnât help but feel a little depressed after hearing of your coming marriage.
Now that he knew your true feelings, Wooyoung thought about asking you to run away with him and finally free yourselves from this cage. But he also knew where your loyalties lie, and they were tightly knotted within this Kingdom. He wished you knew that his loyalties laid with you. If he told you, would it make a difference? He wondered.
He had so much he wanted to say. But he knew in the end that nothing could be done in your situation. In an effort to make things easier, he decided to finally do as he was asked and help you forget about your troubles- as well as his. Giving you that boyish smirk of his, he lined himself up with your core once again.
âAs you wish, Your Majesty.â
With your slit covered in anticipation, and with the bath water around you, he slipped into you with ease. Both of you moaned once he bottomed out. You stayed still, connecting your lips with his, sharing the same hunger he had for you with him. His hands fell to your hips and he guided you over his shaft. The pace was slow but perfect. You didnât want to finish so quickly, wishing to savor every bit of him for as long as you could. But all the moaning, kissing, touching, as well as having your bud being rubbed against his abs every time you came up and down his length made it impossible to stall your release.
When you were both done you remained as you were in the bathtub with your head laying against his chest whine he traced his fingers up and down your spine. He let you play with his other fingers as you both came down from your highs. You thought his fingers were still pretty even though they were all pruny from the extended time in the water. âIn another life, I wouldâve.â You broke the silence. You said it so quietly that you worried if he heard you or not. You didnât think you had it in you to say it again.
Wooyoung sighed, taking a break from tracing your back to just stay still and hold you. He wondered what awful thing he did in his past life to be born as a servant. But there was nothing either of you could do about it now, other than to enjoy the night before you two went back to being strangers in the morning.
âIn another life.â He agreed.

Vampire!Wooyoung x Investigator!Reader, Seonghwa and Hongjoong appears too. Word count: 9305 Genre: angst, horror Author: maari Warnings: I'm rating this one +18 so minors DNI please! Contains strong violence, like very graphic, blood, sensitive themes, death. It's a vampire au, what else can I say. I have to say that yes, this is fiction so whatever I say about the 19th century has absolutely nothing to do with reality, okay? And I know almost nothing about Romania except what I've already researched so don't read if you want something else accurate. Note: AYO there's someone surprised? Because I'm not lol This story is from 2015, I had already posted the Portuguese version on other platforms but I felt I needed to adapt it for tumblr. Thank you Wooyoung for giving me the vampire vision I needed. Summary: There are many mysteries in the 19th century, but the biggest one is your old first love that it's back in town.

19th Century. Romania. âApparently there is a witness who lives downtown, so I..â âApparently? Miss Y/L/N, we thought you had something concrete to prove your case to us." the sheriff interrupted her, making her take a deep breath, completely ignoring the lack of ethics. "I went to the village and only found dust, something has definitely happened." She concludes, with the last vestige of hope. Why did he look so bored listening to that? It was as if he didn't give the slightest credit to her words. In fact, it was difficult to maintain her poise when the sheriff's somber black eyes rested on her, a shiver going up her spine every time that happened. "And some people are scared of you, they said you're following them, miss." He rolled his eyes, pissing her off even more. "The murders didn't happen by coincidence!" she tried to argue and felt a hand on her shoulder. "Mr. Park, please contain your client." the sheriff spoke to the young man beside her, as if the woman were not even there. "Unfortunately it is not something that is of interest to you. Leave. We have a case to solve before the killer causes more panic." having said that, he and the other two men who were silent in the same room completely ignored both of them, as if their presence didn't make the slightest difference. As if her thesis wasn't convincing enough. What could she do without the evidence? Besides making others think she was crazy. "Please, Y/N, come with me." Seonghwa said, lightly pulling her shoulder.
She decided to leave with a sigh before starting screaming, it would be a lack of courtesy on her part and would ruin her reputation. It would be pointless to argue further about something the sheriff clearly wasn't interested in.
"I'm glad you didn't keep arguing." Seonghwa spoke when they were already leaving the place.
"It would be in vain, isn't truth?" she questioned, upset but not defeated.
"Y/N, I know how important your profession is to you." Seonghwa stopped outside, causing Y/N to do the same. She looked at him, he looked sincere. "But you need to be careful, as your attorney, disrupting a sheriff's investigation can get you into a lot of trouble. A mess that I might not be able to get you out of."
Y/N took a deep breath and looked straight ahead, far beyond the standing man, that's when her eyes focused on a familiar figure.
Her entire body shivered as his dark eyes met hers. Unlike before, the boy's eyes were filled with a dark haze. The serious face and emotionless expression was the opposite of the easy and wide smile boy who lit up the whole city.
"Y/N?"
"Is thatâŠ" she stopped for a second, to make sure what she saw was real and not a hallucination. As it had happened before.
That made Seonghwa turn to where she was looking.
"Jung." he spoke in a low tone and took two steps back, standing next to Y/N who looked like was going to collapse.
And indeed, maybe she would collapse, because now that Seonghwa wasn't in front of her, she could watch the boy who was now walking towards her.
He wore black leather clothes, a red blouse underneath and necklaces, very different from the elegant and light clothes he wore in the past.
God, he was wearing leather gloves!
He hated gloves.
"Y/N." she felt her whole body shiver when heard the boy's voice. Not just because of the fact that it had been a long time since she last spoke to him, but because his voice was now more mature. More obscure.
"Wooyoung." her answer was nothing more than a whisper and she couldn't take her eyes off him.
He looked like the same boy she knew but at the same time, was different.
"Well, I'm on my way. Let me know if you need my help again, Y/N." Seonghwa spoke and before she could say thank you, he left, glaring at Wooyoung steadily as he walked past him.
"I didn't know you were friends with pirates." Even serious, with a raised eyebrow, Y/N could hear the slight teasing and even surprise in his voice.
"I didn't know you were back in town." She replied, crossing her arms.
Wooyoung laughed, without humor.
"I can see you're on the defensive."
"Do you blame me?"
"No, of course not." he shook his head. "I understand, like no one else."
Y/N felt her legs wobble, it took a lot of self control not to let him notice.Â
That phrase was theirs. He always said that to her when she was feeling lonely.
"Seonghwa was a pirate but is a great attorney." she replied, changing the subject suddenly.
"A what?" he looked shocked and Y/N wanted to laugh if it was any other circumstance. "Why would you need an attorney?"
"Because I almost got arrested." she replied, huffing and started walking towards her destination.
It was better to talk about the sheriff and his strange behavior than the past and how Wooyoung had suddenly appeared as if he had never left.
"It must have been something very worrying for you to need the help of a pirate attorney."
Y/N knew that tactic and that's why didn't answer, she just twisted her lip.
It wasn't quite true, but it wasn't a lie either. The fact that Seonghwa had been a pirate wasn't important, but she needed an attorney when the sheriff wanted to arrest her..
However, she wouldn't tell Wooyoung what had happened that easily. It wasn't just showing up after so much time that he would get everything he wanted.
"Oh, I see, you're mad at me." he laughed again without humor and Y/N got irritated with the whole situation.
"Well, don't tell me, Mr. I know everything!" she stopped walking and turned abruptly to face him. "You come back after years, without sending a letter, without even knowing where you went and you want me to be happy to see you?" Wooyoung was silent, analyzing Y/N's face so thoroughly that she found it strange.
"What happened?"
"What?"
"Your eyes are blinking constantly and I can see the worry in them." Y/N widened her eyes and Wooyoung twisted his mouth, almost as if he wanted to smile but couldn't. He still knew her better than anyone else, so that was why Y/N sighed. Defeated to expect an explanation from him.
Okay, she was still shocked that he had suddenly returned but she trusted him more than herself. And it wasn't like she could lie to him. "You always knew about my dream of becoming a private investigator." she said, seeing him nod. "I got a case. A murder on a farm in the city, the owner's daughter was murdered for no apparent reason."
"And?"
"And it coincided with 2 other murders. I was finally talking to some possible witnesses when the town sheriff came up to me, saying I had to go with him because they had reported me for disturbance. Apparently someone is afraid I'm going to find out something."
"Is this how Seonghwa appeared?" She nodded.
"We've been friends for a long time, you know." Wooyoung reluctantly agreed. "We became closer with your departure." he looked at her seriously and confused.
"Wait, what do you mean by that?"
"I needed a friend, Wooyoung. He was there for me." she snapped back and he was silent.
They stared at each other for a while, as if to make up for lost time or find the answers they needed.
Anyway, Y/N knew he wouldn't say what was going on to make him come back without warning.
Even more so with such a difference between the Wooyoung she used to know.
"I felt the need to go back, something told me to." He spoke in a soft tone that caught Y/N off guard.
She couldn't contain her jaw which dropped in sheer shock.
It even looked like he had read her mind, which shouldn't be surprising because they used to do that in the old days.
Talk through the eyes.
"You know what happened." She raised an eyebrow. "About the murder, I mean."
"I have some theories."
"Then?" Wooyoung asked. "The police think I'm hallucinating." she said, angry. "There's something wrong, the sheriff was so⊠bizarre." She felt a shiver run down her spine at the memory of the man. He almost looked happy to be taking her away from people, and by the time she explained what was going on, he already seemed to have reached his own conclusions. At first, Y/N thought it was just jealousy of her work. She was paid very well to be a professional investigator and she didn't have to deal with the mayor like the sheriff did, she didn't have to wait for authorization from higher ups because she didn't have any. But then she realized that it wasn't that, in fact it was far from it. "Y/N, why don't you let It be?" she looked at him in disbelief. "Can't you see you could be in danger?"
"Excuse me?" he had no sign of reluctance on his face. He was indeed serious. "You have no right to tell me what to do."
She walked again but was stopped, held in the arm by Wooyoung, who didn't take long to bring his body closer to hers.
Ah yes, that was worrying, Wooyoung was not one to maintain physical contact on the street, with an entire city looking on and could compromise the two. That was always the excuse he gave to Y/N. But she couldn't deny that she liked it, even though she was a little mad at him, because she missed him so much that was still greater than any other feeling and having him there, holding her arm although firmly but gentle was probably the closest they would get to each other for now. "Leave this case before something happens." he asked gently but his eyes were different.
It was almost as if he was begging her to stop because somehow he knew it would hurt her.Â
However, he had no way of knowing.
Or had?
Y/N looked into his eyes, they were still dark but something said that the Wooyoung she knew was still there. He only knew what she had told him, not her theories, so how could he know it was dangerous if he had just come back to town? Why did he suddenly look so worried? "Would you like to tell me something, Wooyoung?" asked, still not understanding the sudden concern.Â
Her questioning took him by surprise, who looked away anywhere but her eyes. But that didn't make her give in, she continued to stare at him anyway.
He fell silent for a moment until he held her other arm and stared into her eyes in the way that made Y/N legs shake and her head stop thinking. "Listen, I care about your life and I know this story will not end well. Give it up before you get hurt, Y/N."
She had so many questions, and didn't even know where to start.
She wanted to say that those words hadn't affected her but that would be a lie, just as it would be a lie to promise that she would give up when she wouldn't. "I'm a professional, Wooyoung. I was hired to find out who the monster is and that's exactly what I'm going to do." She retorted.
Y/N was always stubborn and he knew it very well. "I can't stay by your side." murmured. "I can't watch you kill yourself."
She felt her eyes fill with tears, for being stupid to have believed that he was back for good and for losing him again, unable to do anything to stop it.
"Did you come back after so long for this?"
She let go of his grip so that could completely move away from his extremely comforting touch. She didn't know if she would control herself if he continued to hold her so close to him, so close that she could feel his body heat.
And he just let his hands fall to his sides, he didn't even struggle to maintain contact.
"I won't say I'm surprised." lifted her chin as spoke. "I think you got used to leaving me anyway but don't worry, I can take care of myself and the case at the same time. Goodbye, Jung."Â
She turned her back on him and got out of there as fast as her heels would allow.
She would get concrete evidence of what believed. It was a promise.
And she didn't care if the person she trusted most in life had abandoned her before he even finally came back.
At least that would be what she would repeat until convinced herself. [...] Three victims in a single day, always in the cold dawn and none of them had even a drop of blood in their body.Â
Things in common: marks on the wrist or neck. It was so obvious it was terrifying.Â
She didn't believe in horror stories or about mythical creatures, it's true, but she couldn't ignore all the facts that came to the same explanation.
A vampire was loose in the city. Y/N's father didn't tell her about this kind of thing but he was smart enough to leave his diaries within her reach, in which said that he knew that one day this would happen and that humans would have to demand courage from themselves if they wanted to survive this kind of thing.Â
The apocalypse.
Her parents were born in Serbia, they knew the rumors of creatures of the night feeding on human blood, it was one of the reasons they fled to Romania, while her mother carried Y/N in her womb.
Both died in a mysterious and still uncertain way just over eight years ago.
She became an orphan, rich and completely cold that same dark day she received the news, still a naive girl. She would have given herself over to the darkness if not for Wooyoung, her best friend and her only family left. After discovering her father's diaries, she was sure that he and her mother had been killed by some creature from the shadows. She just couldn't prove it.
With a thirst for revenge to find the culprits, Y/N became a true warrior in secret, at the same time knowing everything she could about vampires. Everything her father had left in his diaries had helped her, it had been the beginning of her era as an investigator.
She didn't do it for the money, did it because felt like she was closer to finding her parents' killers.Â
A private investigator who was actually a vampire slayer, taking care of weird, unsolved murders was pretty satisfying and it brought her closer to the truth, that's what she felt. Although she was still frustrated since the creature was so smart, it was so hard to find something to back up her words. She needed more than her father's stories. "Miss Y/L/N, would you like anything else before you go to bed?" Addy subtly entered the room she was in.
She had barely noticed her arrival, with so much going on her mind. "No, I'm fine, thank you very much. Notify everyone to end their services for today."
She put the diary that was reading in the drawer of the furniture next to her bed. "Yes, ma'am. Have a good night." âEqually for you.â
Addy left and Y/N took off her robe, after blowing out the candles, leaving only one lit.
Y/N lay down on her bed and her mind felt like it would explode from so many things that came and went.
She couldn't understand why Wooyoung had even left, let alone why he had suddenly returned. She believed his words, though he wasn't specific about what had drawn him back, but she needed more. She wanted to know how he was doing, what he'd been up to, where he'd been. She didn't imagine how many minutes or hours had passed, but when was almost asleep, she heard some noises and a muffled scream outside the house.
Dread settled through her body at the exact moment she faced the dark room, feeling her heart beat faster.Â
She would be exaggerating if she thought that maybe her house was being broken into at this time of night.
But the servants had already gone to sleep as she had ordered, the house was dark and her legs were shaking even though was lying in bed. A while ago she would just kneel beside the bed and pray it was just her imagination, only today it wasn't like that anymore.
That's why she dared to get out of bed, quickly put on her shoes, pick up the holder in which the only candle was lit, and left her room after taking a deep breath. Y/N tried not to get carried away by the darkness that her house was or by the terrifying silence. Walked through the house in large but cautious steps and she hadn't found anything unusual inside.
So she had to work up the courage to go through the main door and go to the gardens behind the house. With each step Y/N took, felt her heart beat even faster and her blood started to freeze. Everything was dark, her eyes couldn't stop staring at every square meter of the extensive garden. Sudden fear gripped her as saw a body thrown over the high gate's spear and the bloodstains on the ground. The white skin was full of red marks and one in particular caught her attention, on the victim's neck hovering the same mark as other murders.
She was in shock for long minutes and when regained consciousness again, she dropped the candle near her feet and started walking backwards, unable to scream or look away from that horrendous image.
The blood was still warm and gushing onto the floor, the lifeless body was different from the victims she had seen. Because that blood was a message for her.
She didn't need any other messages to understand.
Her instincts seemed frozen and slowly came back to tell her what to do, because the killer was probably nearby.Â
Run away. Find a wooden stake and bury it in the chest of the first person that appears.
She ended up stumbling over her own feet and the terror came stronger than the thud when she fell to the ground. Y/N got up already trying to get away from there and ask for help however she ended up being held tightly by the arms. She prepared to scream for Addy or anyone else to hear but as soon as she took a deep breath, stared into the face of the person holding her.
Wooyoung. Her heart was still beating fast, seeing him there made it start to regain the air she had lost. "Y/N, why are you here alone?" Asked low and she just shook her head without being able to say anything. All she could feel was her heart beating too fast, it hurt. "What happened? You're pale." The only explanation Y/N could come up with was pointing her finger backwards, he looked at the spot of her terror and his face grew serious, she could see he had locked his jaw holding his breath.
"You need to get out of here, I think you've seen too much for one night." he seemed to contain his anger, his tone was far from calm, and she nodded in agreement.
Y/N let herself be carried away by him, even forgetting that they were actually apart, she didn't dare to look back. Something told her that tomorrow would be a very long day.
[...] "The police are already at the scene taking the body, the employees are terrified and I took something to put it in your hand." Wooyoung sat next to her on the bed and Y/N continued with her head down. "I said I didn't need it, it's okay." Her voice was choked, no wonder since she couldn't do anything but cry when walked in the main door after the adrenaline had worn off..Â
She was used to seeing victims in much worse situations but that scene wouldn't get out of her head for an obvious reason: it had been on purpose.
The killer knew who she was, it was clear.
She was lucky that Wooyoung was there, he didn't seem desperate and that helped her to at least calm down a little. As always was. "Be still for a moment." He took her hand and started to pass the wet cloth all over the place that had hurt because of the fall, only when he forced her skin that she knew it was hurting.Â
Wooyoung was cleaning the wound carefully but his forehead was furrowed and his nose seemed to be being forced not to breathe that air. "I didn't know you were sensitive to the scent of blood." She commented and he looked up at her at the same time. "It's not something very important to know." He shrugged and finished cleaning her wound, placed the bowl of water on top of the furniture next to her bed and returned to face Y/N.
"Everything about you is important to me." declared, holding the gaze. When Wooyoung looked at her in that intense way it reminded her of the feelings for him she should have buried a long time ago but would always be there, lying dormant waiting for him.
Wooyoung understood Y/N since forever, they knew each other even before she became an orphan.
One day, he was sleeping under the snow in the same gardens of her parents' house and the other day, Y/N's parents gave shelter to the boy who did various tasks in the house in exchange for food and clothes.
Because they were the same age, they became inseparable. Y/N didn't care if he was a servant, he was the only friend she could play with when she wasn't studying.
She and Wooyoung liked to play that they were warriors, they played with wooden swords.Â
Little did she know that one day she would use that sword in real life.
He was her first friend and first crush, and also her first kiss. In fact, couldn't remember anyone other than him being her first at anything.
It was weird being close to him but at the same time being so far away, at least in the way she really wanted to be. She hated to admit it but deep down knew she had never forgotten what they left in the past. An impossible and secret love. "I'm sorry I fought with you." he said lowly, making her shiver from head to toe. "I'm sorry too." she sighed. "You could have come here earlier, this house is as much yours as it is mine. Maybe nothing would have happened tonight if you were here."
"Y/N." He leaned closer and touched her cheek gently.
"Why did you come back? Truly." she just needed an answer or else it would consume her alive.
He didn't take his eyes off her and Y/N was mesmerized to have him so close after so long, just one touch and it would literally throw her into his arms.
She knew it was what both needed. A simple touch. Wooyoung touched his lips to hers at the same moment a lightning cut the sky, illuminating his face and making her sigh as quickly noticed his dark eyes look hungry, before closing her eyes completely and giving herself away.
It wasn't many times that she was in his arms but each time he was very gentle, almost as if he was afraid of breaking her. But now, the way his lips sought hers in such an ungentlemanly way, it was almost animalistic.
It was surprising when he held her waist tightly and deepened the kiss, their tongues meeting for the first time. She grabbed his hair afraid that his momentary boldness wouldnât last and he would be cautious again. She kissed him with all the desire she felt, without fear of regretting it later.
His lips were warm and soft, driving her crazy. That wasn't the kind of kiss they gave, it didn't have the childlike innocence of before.
Wooyoung knew how to move his lips and tongue sensually and slowly. Another lightning in the sky and Y/N heard a grunt, Wooyoung held her tighter and leaned over her. She had to break the kiss to catch her breath and he didn't stop there, he kissed down her chin and neck, making her skin shiver.
Y/N had to bite her already swollen lip to hold back her moan as she felt wet kisses trail across her skin.
She thought he was going to go down a little more, because she didnât want to stop, in her wildest dreams she had been in his arms without any barriers, that was where she became his. Only in her dreams. But he held his breath and moved away so fast that she could barely keep up. Y/N was going to ask what had happened but a knock on the door undid all that moment, she didn't know whether to look at Wooyoung who now kept his face turned to the side or to tell the person to come in. She sat on the bed and straightened up so no one wouldn't notice that something had happened, Y/N asked them to come in and Addy came to her quickly. "The sheriff wishes to speak with you." She warned and Y/N took a deep breath before nodding.
The last person she wanted to see was him. "Thank you, Addy." she got up from the bed, legs a little bit weak, avoiding looking at Wooyoung who seemed to be embarrassed.Â
Well, it was his fault that she was weak and horny.
She put on her robe and Wooyoung stood beside her, now maintaining a serious posture.Â
Was he doing this to confuse her? Wooyoung noticed that Y/N hadn't understood his gesture and decided to quickly explain. "I wouldn't leave you alone with that man." Wooyoung never liked the sheriff and the feeling seemed to be mutual. That old man had been in town longer than she and Wooyoung could count, and what on the surface seemed like just a rowdy children's tantrum became more when they both grew up.
No matter how much time passed, Wooyoung still didn't like the sheriff.
But that night, Y/N was thankful for it. She felt protected when was around him and this was how she needed to feel when she was in front of the sheriff. She smiled knowingly at him, as the memories washed over her, he tried to reciprocate but it was sad and he looked away too quickly. She sighed and retraced her path, which was now lit differently from earlier. She arrived at the garden still a little apprehensive, the police chief had the man by his side and they were speaking in low voices.Â
It seemed she wasn't the only one with secrets. "Miss Y/L/N, can you give me your statement about what really happened here?" the sheriff asked with a certain arrogance and she had to control herself not to be rude, he deserved it anyway. "I don't know what happened, I was getting ready to sleep at the time." "And how did you end up out here exactly?" she noticed that he looked Wooyoung up and down with his petulance standing out in his ego. "I heard a scream and decided to see what it was, after all it could have been one of my employees." Y/N crossed her arms, hating having to explain to him that he wouldn't even look at her. "Did you find no trace of the killer?" "No." "Thatâs what I need." he left quickly, being followed by the man, without even thanking her or questioning in a more intense way.
What was that?
Y/N glanced at Wooyoung as soon as saw the sheriff's silhouette walk away from her garden. "That was very strange, he didn't even insist." commented and stared at Wooyoung, it looked like he was holding back from saying what he was really thinking. "What's it?" she asked, curious.
He was never this quiet. "We need to talk about what happened." His serious expression took her by surprise.
She had just been interrogated, what else did he want to know? "How about later?"
When she catches her breath from seeing a body hanging in her garden, to be precise. "One day we'll have to talk about this, Y/N." He touched her chin and made her lift her head to look into his eyes. She frowned, still not understanding. "It wasn't a good idea to kiss you after the panic you went through, I apologize for invading your space."
What was he talking about? "What?"
Oh, that was the conversation they would have. "It was a terrible mistake on my part, I'm so sorry." He moved away and Y/N felt her jaw drop. "It won't happen again." Wooyoung passed in front of her and she hurried to stop in front of him. "Are you testing me, Wooyoung?" she questioned, completely confused. "Pardon?" "You come back, then fight with me, leave again, come back here, kiss me after so long and now you say it was a mistake. What do you want after all?" She was tired of it. "Do not blame my vulnerability, I wanted as much as you."
Truth be told, dear Wooyoung. "Do not say that." asked low, closing his eyes for a moment. "I will no longer hide my feelings, I will no longer lie to you. Not anymore." she held his face, making him open his eyes and stare at her steadily."I wish I hadn't loved you again but I did and I don't regret it."
He was silent and she couldn't contain herself, daringly she touched her lips to his once more, in a soft and simple touch.
Y/N didn't prolong the kiss for a long time, she knew it could make things worse, pulled away from him but not before saying one last thing. "I hope you can handle this, Wooyoung, or else you know where it will lead us."
She got out of there as quickly as possible and had to stop herself from looking back or else she would kiss him again. And again. And again until she wouldn't be able to stop. [...] "Are you sure you'll be okay?â Addy asked as soon as she put her feet out of the house. âOf course. You need to visit your family, Addy, the weekend will do you all good.â Y/N smiled at her.
A break for the employees was a good idea, to make them forget the trauma of the murder in the garden while Y/N drank herself to sleep. âBut I can ask Joseph to stay here if you need anything.â she would really insist on that option. "I just need you to get into the carriage and let him take you home. It's two days, what could happen?â she asked and Addy stayed quiet. âRemember that I can take care of myself, that will calm you down.â she agreed and hugged Y/N. She more than anyone didn't mind showing the affection she had for the employees, after all, she had practically been raised by them after her parents' death.
âTake care of yourself.â Addy said goodbye and walked to the carriage, Y/N waited at the door until lost sight of her. After what happened at her house, Y/N decided to give all employees the weekend off. She was hoping to spend the two days with Wooyoung, they hadn't arranged anything but she figured if he saw the movement then maybe he could show up. Well, actually spending time with him wasn't the only thing that motivated her. Now lucid, she could retrace the killer's trail, they always leave traces. She had some acquaintances in London she could ask for help, or even Seonghwa who knew a lot of people from his pirate days. Giving up, as Wooyoung had asked her to do, was not an option. She just couldn't keep doing her job in this town, for now. Not when the sheriff seemed determined to derail her investigation. She might even go back to training, she had some favors to call in on some friends.
The night had already fallen and it had brought heavy rain, she loved the rain but on that day in particular it was a bit scary. She was still a little vulnerable with everything that had happened over the past few days, the empty, dark house had never felt so big for her to be alone. Y/N looked at the tray that held the wine and two glasses she had set aside. Hopeful? Deluded? She didn't know why but she laughed as she got up to help herself. Of course he wasn't going to show up.Â
She had barely taken a sip and her head was spinning just thinking about Wooyoung. In the time he was away, she tried to distract herself with other men. After all, she couldn't wait for him forever. But it was always in vain because it was her eyes that she saw around the corners.
Sometimes she even seemed to have seen his figure on the street or elsewhere, but it was nothing more than an illusion because the moment she blinked he was no longer there.
Leaving a tightness in the heart and a desire to cry that was always supplied by alcohol.
Just like now, she tried to drown her feelings in the wine while trying not to think too much about him, how much she missed him and how much that kiss had affected her. She had known a less angelic side of Wooyoung, and it would be a lie to say that she was no longer interested in the boy. Because she was.
She liked how sweet and happy he was, but knowing that he too was shrouded in mysterious darkness drew her even closer. Well, after all, she hunted monsters.
It seemed hypocritical but she was attracted precisely by the unknown in Wooyoung.
She wanted to dig deeper, find out more why and how he had become so secretive. He had a reason, didn't he? She was already on her second glass of wine when heard a noise coming from the stairs. She even thought about ignoring it, but footsteps could be heard on the top floor of the house, so she set the goblet aside and stopped where she was.
She had ordered all the servants out of the house so no one was there with her. Was her head then starting to create illusions?
She got up from the couch, feeling her heart beat so fast that the corset she was wearing was hurting her ribs. Slowly and very carefully, she went to the front of the stairs and stopped there, straining her eyes to see better since everything was nothing but pitch black. Lightning cut through the sky, illuminating the place and showing that there was nothing, the noise was loud enough for her to jump with her hands on her chest that rose uncontrollably. She let out the breath she'd been holding, feeling weak for being overwhelmed by the darkness.
That was the alcohol making her relive that night all over again. That was why the trip seemed like the best option for her.
Y/N rolled her eyes and turned to go back to her whine, that was her night of drinking herself out. However, she couldn't make the journey back because her body paralyzed when saw a person a few meters away looking at her as if she were prey.
It could be another illusion, must have been, but when she realized that it was the creature she was looking for so long a shiver ran through her entire body, suddenly all the cold weather took over the house and she could hear the wind blowing in her ears.
âGood night, Miss.â he asked and Y/N could see his sharp teeth however she didn't dare to give him any answer, in her head, was already looking for a weapon to protect herself. âSorry to come unannounced but I think we have some things to work out.â She took a few steps back when he threatened to walk towards her.
She held her breath, trying through her peripheral vision to find something sharp to shove down the throat of the person in front of her.
âWell, Miss Y/L/N, you don't need to be afraid of me, you know very well who I am.â He took off the hood he wore and her jaw dropped, surprised. âOr do you need to?â He smirked and remained silent.
It all started to make sense so quickly that Y/N's head started to spin and it wasn't just from the alcohol. Wooyoung asked her to leave the case because knew that it would hurt her. The body in her gates, the unexplained confusion when she tried to talk to alleged witnesses, the fact that the police were always one step ahead of her in their investigations. âIt was you all along.â she said aloud, connecting all the evidence.
How foolish she was.
âExactly.â He shrugged and took a step in her direction.
âWas the death near the police station on purpose or did you simply forget to hide the body?â she asked, trying to buy time. She had a dagger in the next room, she was near the door, and could run to get it.
âI confess it was an accident, unlike the body I placed at the gates of your home.â he confessed and snorted. âYou don't think I'd leave a body next to my station on purpose, do you?â she was silent and he laughed. âDon't be stupid, it made me have to move forward with this case and it didn't help me at all.â
âBut you managed to hide it very well, Sheriff West.â she said ironically.
âAnd I will continue to hide, do not think that I came to confess and then leave, letting you live.â he threatened and took a step forward, making her on alert. âIt's a shame to have to kill a woman as beautiful as you, Y/L/N, but I have no choice.â she took it as an opportunity to get closer to the room and if she stretched out her hands she could open the door. âDon't worry, I took care of everything.â as he said that, Y/N stared at him in confusion and heard a loud noise of glass breaking and she looked up instantly.
The entire ceiling of her house, which was beautifully crafted with the most beautiful glass in the city, had shattered into thousands of pieces and few vampires had touched the ground within seconds.
She only had time to stare at the wet creatures as they snarled at her.
The first one who attacked came running with his mouth open and hands with huge nails out in front of him, she took the opportunity to throw herself against the door of the room, which opened with a loud thud and she fell to the floor. Y/N reached out to grab the dagger from the table and at the same moment the creature appeared, throwing itself at her, which plunged the dagger into the vampire's chest without any hesitation before he sank his sharp teeth into her skin. The animalistic growls stopped when she turned the dagger inside the vampire's chest and in a short time the body fell.
On top of it he pushed it to the side, seeing the pale gray vampire's body. She wasted no time looking for another weapon, her eyes found a wooden cross, her father's relic, on the wall and she didn't think twice before pulling it out. She had been training her whole life for this moment and she wasn't going to die without even a fight.
She left the room and saw that they were waiting for her, the heavy rain falling through the broken window wetted Y/N and she had to hold the cross tighter.
This time, two vampires came towards her and stopped as soon as she raised the weapon, they looked at each other and when they looked back at her, their fangs were already out. Well, the myth wasn't true then, it would be otherwise.
Y/N stuck the cross in the stomach of one of them and the other pulled her back with force, making her practically fly to the ground, she ended up hitting her head but still dizzy, she managed to pull herself back with her elbows.
Y/N's now soaked hair obscured her vision and when she pulled away from her face, she saw the vampire pull the cross from his stomach and the blood spilled onto her floor.
âEww.â she said involuntarily and the two attacked her at the same time. She tried to protect her body, putting her arms in front of her body and felt sharp nails scratch her arms, cutting the fabric of her dress, before she could even fight for real, strong hands held her by the neck, lifting her off the ground and squeezing her until it became difficult to breathe. She watched as the other vampire, the one she'd hit with the cross, approached with sharp teeth and she was sure this was how her life would end. Everything happened faster than the blink of an eye, suddenly the hand that was suffocating her was no longer holding her and Y/N fell to the ground at the same moment that the body of one of the vampires fell beside her, already lifeless and with a broken neck.
On the other side, before she could understand what had happened, the other vampire fell with a hole in his chest, heartless.
Y/N followed her gaze to the figure that was standing in front of her, holding the dead vampire's heart, and she felt her whole body shiver at the sight of her savior.
Wooyoung.
No, that could only be another illusion. Wooyoung couldn't be there. He was breathing heavily as Y/N's jaw dropped and looked confused, he threw the heart he held as if it was nothing and extended a blood stained hand towards Y/N.
She wasn't undecided whether to accept it or not but she was so surprised that it took her a while to hold Wooyoung's hand, she felt the warm palm and she didn't know if it was because of the fresh blood on his hands or if it was his own heat. âThat's so typical.â Sheriff West spoke loudly and she looked into Wooyoung' eyes, they seemed way darker than before. âPathetic.â against her will, she looked at the sheriff who had removed the overcoat he wore, his look devilish and angry. âI'll kill you bothâ he shouted and came to attack them.
Y/N couldn't follow what happened next, in one moment Wooyoung was in front of her and in the next the sheriff was blocked by him and the next second, the two collided against the wall on the other side and a hole was made there. Wooyoung was holding the sheriff's neck who had his eyes completely black and his fangs out, he grunted trying to get out of there and get some advantage against Wooyoung. She didn't know how he was managing to get the sheriff pinned against the wall.
âCome on, show her who you really are.â Sheriff spoke and Y/N remained paralyzed. What was he talking about? âDon't you know, Y/L/N? Have you ever seen your love the way he is?â he asked her, though he didn't take his black eyes off Wooyoung. âAfter I kill you, I will suck the blood and kill her slowly, exactly the way I did with her father.â Wooyoung grabbed him by his clothes and threw him to the ground with such force that she felt the house shake, he growled like an animal and when Y/N looked at his face saw two fangs. No, it couldn't be...
Wooyoung somehow seemed to be stronger than the sheriff and Y/N took the advantage to run to the stairs, opening a trapdoor that held more weapons. She didn't know what was making her think so fast, maybe it was the adrenaline, and she started to load the gun with ammo. Special ammunition, silver bullets. Y/N turned to face them as her fingers moved as quickly as she could, and she saw when Wooyoung now had his neck grabbed by the sheriff, who somehow managed to turn around and kneel on top of Wooyoung. That made her activate the gun and shoot at the sheriff, ended up hitting his arm and he got up, getting off Wooyoung, before he could say anything he closed his eyes and grunted loudly. So this myth was true...
âYou know, sheriff, I went after myths about your species and I would like to try it with the murderer of the city.â Y/N shot him again, this time in his leg and he fell to the ground away from Wooyoung, he looked at her with pure hate. âI didn't believe that silver was your weakness.âanother shot, on his stomach. He was still, squirming as if the bullets were burning him inside, and maybe they were. âNo justice would be enough to punish you properly, so think about your sinsâŠâ She approached him, placing the gun on his chest and felt Wooyoung approach her and the sheriff showed his fangs. â...in hell.â she said before shooting him in the heart. The sheriff widened his eyes and fell to his knees, tried to raise his hand to hold Y/N but she just slammed the gun into his arm, making him fall to the ground while grunting in pain and losing his color. It was a matter of seconds before he lost his life right there on the ground while Y/N looked at him in disgust. Wooyoung didn't say anything, he just approached the sheriff's body and put both hands on his neck, she kept looking and watched as he snapped the sheriff's neck and took his head off. Y/N looked away, feeling her stomach lurch, and the gun dropped from under her feet as she tried not to think about what had just happened. Blood, pieces of glass, bodies, pieces of vampires were scattered around her house while the heavy rain was still falling on her and Wooyoung. The only survivors of the attack.
She felt his hand on her arm in a touch so soft it felt out of place. she shivered again when his fingers traced the cut she had on her arm and, unable to resist, turned her face to look into his eyes. The eyes were still dark but filled with guilt.
âY/N.â he whispered
âWhen were you planning to tell me?â she asked directly, tired of secrets between them.
âActually, I didn't plan to.â he was sincere and she crossed my arms, looking away from him. âI love you.â confessed and Y/N paralyzed again. âSo much that it hurts my heart.â He grabbed her chin and made her look into his eyes. For her to find the truth in them. âYou're in constant danger if we stay close and I wouldn't forgive myself if something happened to you.â
âWhat do you mean?â she knew very well what he meant but she didn't want to accept it.
"I can't afford this" He pointed to the bodies. âhappens again, I won't always be in time to save you.â She wanted to scream that she didn't want to be saved but that would be a lie because she wanted to live, enough to be by his side.
âYou will leave again.â she guessed and he nodded. âAt least now you know why I'm leaving this time.â he caressed her face, staring at every inch as if he wanted to memorize every detail. âI won't be able to say anything to change your mind.â it was not a question. âI'm thinking what's best for you. You deserve to be happy and I'm rooting for that.â He tried to smile but ended up failing.
âI love you.â she whispered, already with tears in her eyes. âI always did!â âI know.â He got even closer to her face and his lip gently touched hers, to then start their last kiss. Y/N could still feel his fangs against her lips and Wooyoung tasted like blood but none of that mattered because the way he was kissing her was clearly making her forget about what happened a few minutes ago. It was intense, full of feelings they both now knew were mutual, and also fraught with pain. For leaving, for not being able to live what they wanted. He held her face firmly one last time and broke the kiss, touching their foreheads while YN refused to open her eyes but she felt that he was staring at her intensely. She didn't want to say goodbye. âDonât go, please.â She heard Wooyoung sigh but the contact had been lost and desperate, she opened her eyes to find him already climbing through the broken ceiling. He even stopped one last time to look at her from above and she pleaded with her eyes but he just left at the same time that lightning appeared in the sky.
After the sudden light, there she was back to darkness. But with her duty done.
[...]
âTell me, Y/L/N, are the rumors true?â she straightened her spine on the chair was sitting on, the clothes she was wearing weren't so comfortable but it was effective.
âThat I became a hunter? You weren't supposed to know about this.â she complained. âI know more than anyone realizes.â She went silent for a while, if the rumors were already getting to him then probably whoever she wanted to know about her current situation was also aware.
âThat's exactly why I'm here. I need you to track someone down.â
âWooyoung.â said simply. No one was surprised, not even the underworld creatures.
âExactly.â Honjoong folded his hands on top of the large desk in his office. He was a vampire, his scent was better than any of the creatures, he was trustworthy. It could help her find Wooyoung. It was amazing how she now found herself surrounded by creatures of the night.
âI think you should know who you're dealing with.â he said, making her raise an eyebrow. âY/L/N, never wondered where he came from?â
She shrugged. Nobody knew where Wooyoung came from, not even her parents.
âDo you know his last name?â
âHe didn't have any so my parents named him Jung.â âWell, do you know the meaning of this name?â She denied with her head. Should she know? âMeans, it is the connection between two people that cannot be severed.â âI believe you are telling me this because it is important.â âAfter a lot of research, I found out that he actually has a strong connection with the Tepes family.â Honjoong smiled, a little murky for her. â You know who else was called that? Vlad III.â
âThe Impaler?â she asked and he agreed. âThe famous prince of Wallachia who is the hero of this nation?â âDid you know that Vlad had a son?â Honjoong got up from his chair and walked around the office. âMihnea, the Bad.â she followed him with her eyes. âHe did not have a very happy reign, nor was he as loved as Vlad, so much so that he abdicated the throne to his son.â âVlad had a grandson, who was hidden from the world for fear of retaliation. With Mihnea's fame, it was only natural that they would. The child grew up with a curse.â She paid attention, although she didn't really believe in curses, knew that supposedly magical things happen around the world. âAt 18 he would become as cold, perverse and scary as his grandfather. His lust for blood and atrocities would be far greater than any other Tepes.â Memories of the night Wooyoung saved her and killed all those vampires returned.
âAre you saying that Wooyoung is the lost grandson of Count Vlad?â her heart believed in that fantasy but reason still brought her back to reality.
Honjoong nodded, putting his arms behind him. âThe only living descendant. Vlad's family is very well known and even admired by us.â
âSo the rumors were true. Vlad was a vampire.âÂ
âThe first of the first.â Honjoong took a step towards her and Y/N glared at him. âSo I must warn you, Y/L/N, you are not dealing with any vampire. It's a Tepes.â âI'm not afraid of him.â she admitted. Quite the contrary, actually, she loved him and was willing to find him. âThat's not what worries me.âHe took a deep breath before continuing. "Y/N," he knelt down in front of her, making her worried. He rarely called her by name. âWooyoung has many doubts, he grew up without his family, being the monster he was in the times that he was away from you. I strongly believe that you were the only light the poor boy found in his entire existence. So I warn you, if you enter this world of darkness... you won't be able to get out.â âYou know where he is.â âI told you the family is known.â âBe more clear, Honjoong.â she asked, tired of it. âYour beloved Wooyoung is coming for Vlad.â She was paralyzed. Impossible. âVlad was beheaded in combat with the Turks, his head was displayed in Constantinople.â she said in disbelief. It was simply impossible. âThatâs what they say, you know there are three versions of Vlad's death. I assure you, they killed the wrong man.â âWhat are you trying to tell me, that Vlad is alive?â he nodded and Y/N was petrified. She considered getting up from the chair but didn't have the strength in her legs after listening to all that. âWhere is he?â she questioned. Honjoong rose silently, turning his back to her. He didn't say a word. âHonjoongâŠâ she gathered strength and started to get up from the chair, approaching the young man who insisted on ignoring her question. âWhere is he?â she said more firmly this time. âParis, with the help of a witch to find his grandfather.â replied low. She stopped to think for a moment, was more confused than before. âWhy would you go to Paris?â she asked herself. Honjoong turned back to her and took her left arm with unusual gentleness. âIf they find Dracula, they will try to fulfill the prophecy.â she raised an eyebrow. What prophecy? âVlad will take what is rightfully his, spilling the blood of his enemies and turn everything to ashes, making the world safe for creatures of the night..â She looked into Honjoong's eyes. My God⊠âThen it is to Paris that we will go.â

â©„ Ateez Masterlist
"Wow, you look lovely."
Y/N theatrically rolled her eyes upon hearing Wooyoung's laugh after speaking in a joking tone.
She was a complete mess. Sweaty, her clothes crooked while his nephew was in his arms struggling to play on the floor and the hair tied up in a way that was messier than his living room with toys scattered on the floor.
"Glad you made it." she sighed and handed her nephew to Wooyoung before he even entered her house.
"What?" he asked confusedly and reached out to hold the baby who happily went into his arms.
"Hold him, I have to pee!" she replied in a hurry and ran to the bathroom while Wooyoung laughed, taking off his shoes, closing the door.
"Hey buddy." he smiled at the baby who rubbed his eyes and laid his head on his shoulder.
It was Saturday and Y/N's day to babysit her nephew.
Her sister and the husband were working and she had already made sure she stayed with her nephew since she had the weekend off and she loved the baby.
He was about to turn a year and a half old, spending the day with him was the best thing in the world, but he was learning to walk. Which meant Y/N had to help him get around the house, always holding his tiny hand as he wanted to almost run.
It didn't look like it but it was extremely tiring and as it approached the time for him to take his nap after lunch, it was even more so.
When she returned, Wooyoung was swaying him in an almost imperceptible dance, making her smile at the scene.
"Am I at the wrong time?" he asked quietly, resting his chin on the baby's head who was almost asleep.
"Just in time." she replied in the same tone and took the bottle that was on top of the sofa. "I'll make his milk if he complains-"
"I know how to make children sleep, you know?" he interrupted and she smiled ruefully.
Of course he knew, in addition to having experience with his brother, Wooyoung was also great with kids and her nephew adored him.
She raised her arms, surrendered and went to the kitchen at the same time that her nephew started to complain.
She laughed but hearing Wooyoung talk to him, she continued on her way, he knew what to do.Â
While she prepared the bottle in the kitchen, Wooyoung arranged the baby in his arms, laying him down to cuddle him better at the same time that he reached for the remote control.
Y/N's nephew loved music and he had the perfect one in mind to put him to sleep, but he stopped when he saw that the tv was on with Jongho's cover more specifically Don't Go Today.
The baby raised his head to face the tv, clearly familiar with that version and Wooyoung saw him smile before lying back in his arms, practically surrendering to sleep as Jongho's soft voice filled the room.
Wooyoung tried to contain his face of shock as he rocked the baby to sleep, looking at the TV in disbelief.
As soon as Y/N returned to the room with the bottle already warm, her nephew was already sleeping, breathing heavily with his mouth open.
"The Jongho cover? Really?" he spoke quietly, turning to face her as she placed the bottle on top of the couch.
She laughed discreetly, turning her back to Wooyoung, arranging the sofa for her nephew to stay there.
"I had to play hard, I've been trying to get him to sleep for 40 minutes." she explained as she spread out the coverlet.
And when she came back to face Wooyoung, he had a funny face like he wanted to get mad.
"I also have a cover and a very good one by the way, it has 392,000 views." he muttered, pouting.
"Put him on the couch." she laughed softly, pointing to her nephew's seat.
He complained but did so, being careful not to hurt the baby or make him wake up, and covered him with the blanket next.
Y/N took the opportunity to sit on the other end, stretching her legs that made a noise and felt her back hurt, Wooyoung sat next to her, getting in the middle between the baby and her.
Automatically Y/N's head sought Wooyoung's shoulder, leaning against it as he crossed his arms, she didn't even need to look at him to know he still had his pout.
"So your nephew has a bias."
"I think it's too early for that." she laughed softly, closing her eyes with the intention of resting for five minutes.
"Hm, I mean, he always turns his face to look at Yeosang when he appears and now he falls asleep listening to Jongho sing?" he sounded disbelieved. "In a moment you'll tell me he likes other groups too."
She just laughed and Wooyoung knew that sound well.
"What? You're not even going to deny it?"
"You know YouTube suggests other videos of the same genre, I just leave it on."
"Yes, based on what you watch often." he glanced at the tv as another video started. He knew the face that was on tv but not because it was him or the members. "NCT? Have you been listening to NCT?"
He eased the back of the sofa, making Y/N move too and she stared at him.
Wooyoung had an expression of someone who had beenâŠbetrayed.
"When you met me, you knew I liked their music." she defended herself and Wooyoung just looked at her, he didn't seem to know what to say.
And actually he didn't, because Y/N was right but seeing Jaehyun's cover playing made him feel a little jealous.
That's why he didn't say anything, he just turned off the tv since he was still holding the remote control.
She laughed tiredly and he left the remote on the couch as he eased back into the couch and Y/N followed him, feeling him wrap his arm around her shoulder.
They were silent for a while, Wooyoung trying to find an argument good enough to win that dispute but he stopped thinking about it when he felt Y/N's body give way and heard her breathing get heavier.
He moved his head enough to see that she was sleeping against him, making him sigh heavily. Now it didn't even matter which cover she listened to or not.
He stayed in that position for a while, making circular movements on her arm and when he realized that she was sleeping as soundly as his nephew, he settled her on the couch and got up, going to the kitchen to make something to eat.
While he was cooking, he thought of a way to make Y/N hear only his voice before going to sleep, after all his pride didn't accept losing to his members.
Jaehyun is fine, but Jongho? No, that was unacceptable. The youngest had an angelic voice, it was true, but he wasn't going to allow his girlfriend and her nephew to sleep listening to Jongho's cover instead of his.
As soon as he finished, he went back to the living room and, being careful not to wake the baby, he approached Y/N and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Y/N, hey." he woke her up, seeing her open her eyes slowly. "Come eat, you must be hungry."
Y/N stretched slowly, looking at her nephew and seeing that he was still sleeping, Wooyoung took the opportunity to hug her and lifted her off the couch when he saw that she was lazy.Â
She got a kiss on the cheek as she got up and smiled at Wooyoung who hugged her around the waist, the two went to the kitchen, to get the food and go back to the living room.
That done, they sat down on the floor after placing the food on the coffee table in the room, Y/N's stomach rumbled so loudly that Wooyoung laughed, serving her.
She looked at him tenderly as he set the food for her.
"Thanks." she reached over to kiss his cheek. "And thanks for coming today, I know you're tired."
He shook his head, smiling as he handed her the food.
"Although I was betrayed in this house, I still do everything for you." he responded dramatically and Y/N took the food, looking at him in amusement.
"You're such a drama queen." she spoke before starting to eat, closing her eyes for a few seconds to enjoy the taste. "But you cook like nobody else."
"It is good?" he asked curiously and she nodded, eating more.
"Great, but I still feel betrayed." he shrugged and started to eat too.
"Fine, what do you want me to do to change that?" she asked, looking at Wooyoung.
He looked up thoughtfully.
"A kiss." he replied, smiling sideways and she contained her smile.
She reached over to place a quick kiss on his lips, which he'd been waiting for eagerly, and when she pulled away too quickly he complained.
"You call that a kiss?" he asked in disbelief.
"You didn't specify!" she replied and Wooyoung let go of everything he was holding to grab her by the back of her neck and truly kiss her.
His lips captured hers thirstily and she sighed, closing her eyes as she let go of what she held to grip his shoulder.
The kiss was fast and hot, the kind that stole all the air out of her in a matter of seconds.
Y/N squeezed Wooyoung's shoulder to indicate that she needed to breathe and gained a light bite on her bottom lip, making her want more but he pulled away.
She was ready to go back to kissing him but Wooyoung turned his attention back to the food, it was her turn to pout.
"We're not done yet." he winked mischievously and she laughed.
"Well, that definitely woke me up." she stated, making him put a hand over his mouth to stifle the sound of loud laughter.
"But I really have to ask you." he spoke after swallowing the food.
"What?" she looked at him, curious, he had a serious face.
"Does your nephew have a bias?"
"Wooyoung!"

Hiding your true feelings for your brothers best friend was something you had grown used to but when life took a turn, it came crumbling down even faster.
[WRITERS NOTE]
Akakakakakakaka so seeing Wooyoung with a kid caused this story to take a turn and heâs a daddddy!!!! Lmao stay tuned for part two!!! Enjoy xx
âSan- my boy. We hit it big tonight. You keep this up and weâll be loaded with cash in no time.â Wooyoungâs voice echoed through the small apartment as you emerged from the bathroom, dripping wet and wrapped in a towel. The boys had just returned from their usual Friday night boxing match - underground and illegal, but the money was worth it at the end of the day.
Two set of eyes immediately scanned your body, with devilish smiles creeping onto their lips as they leaned forward on the couch. Seonghwa and Yunho, more inner fight circle boys. âDonât be a tease, y/n, drop the towel.â Yunho shot, earning a bag of frozen veggies to be thrown at him by San. âSheâs my fucking sister bro.â
âDonât worry Sannie, I know where heâs been.â You smirked, patting San on the shoulder as you walked to your room. It wasnât long after that you heard the boys saying their goodbyes and your brother had poked his head in your room to let you know heâd be gone for the night. âWoo is gonna crash here. Heâs fighting with that bitch again.â
âWhy does he have to sleep here?â
âWhere else would he go?â
âSeonghwaâs? Yunhoâs? That baby face security guard dude thst comes here sometimes.â
It wasnât that you didnât like Wooyoung, heâd been in your life for years and you had grown close to him but as time passed, you couldnât help but find him addictively attractive.
âShut up dude.â San laughed, shaking his head. âHeâll probably just be gaming all night. Iâm sure you wonât even know heâs here.â
âFine.â You grumbled, waving him off.
A few hours had past since San left and as promised, the apartment had remained quiet. You had curled up in bed watching Netflix and snacking until you finally had to use the bathroom. In just an oversized shirt, you pushed off the bed and started down the hall.
âShit, fuck!â You yelled, strumbling into Woo as he headed back to Sanâs room. His hands went to your waist, holding you in place as you laughed into your hands. âYou scared the shit outta me.â
It wasnât until you opened your eyes that you realized the close proximity to a shirtless Wooyoung, his toned chest and arms sent shivers down your spine. âSorry..â Woo awkwardly laughed, letting his hands slowly slide off your sides.
âNo, itâs fine. Iâm usually walking mindlessly.â
âIt is your place. Iâm just taking up room.â
âYou do the dishes sometimes, so I guess youâre not a total waste.â
Wooyoung huffed a laugh as he gazed down at you, âIâll let you get to it.â
You smiled gently at him before going into the bathroom, groaning quietly as you plopped down and glanced at yourself in the mirror. Your face was beat red from blushing so hard and as you reached for the toilet paper, you noticed the goosebumps that had taken over your arm.
Even after shoving your feelings deep down and having a couple of relationships over the past years, Woo always had a special place in your heart. You sighed softly as you finished up, finding it nearly impossible to ignore your now throbbing clit.
You turned your back to the sink and propped yourself up against it. After finding a comfortable spot your hand quickly went to work swirling quick circles.
The thing about living in a small apartment was the unfortunate close proximity of everything and keeping things quiet, wasnât always the easiest. You bit your lip hard as you concealed your moans,
Your mind wondered to Woo, thinking of how youâd want him touch you all over. Thinking of how good heâd feel deep inside your pussy. Your head fell back into the wall as you pleased yourself, blocking the world out.
You had almost hit your peak when the sound of the microwave door slamming shut. âFuckâ you muttered, knocking a few things of the counter as you tried to compose yourself.
âYou good in there?â Woo yelled from the kitchen, that unfortunately was only a few feet away.
âYea, Iâm fine!â You replied, quickly picking up the fallen items before turning off the light. You took a deep breath and opened the door, Wooyoungâs eyes shot to you. âIâm making popcorn if you want some.â
You could feel your face burning red, âuh no, thanks though. Iâm just gonna go lay down.â You babbled, flashing him a quick smile before quickly returning to your room.
Had he heard you? Did he know what you were doing? All questions ran through your head as you flopped on your bed, groaning into your pillow in frustration.
A few hours had passed before you heard noise coming from the room next to yours, lowering the volume on your tv, you could hear the sound of moaning and dirty talking could almost perfectly through the wall. You listened carefully, quickly clueing in that he was watching porn. What followed next made your pussy start to throb again.
The more you listened, the hotter things seemed to get. Wooâs soft groans entered the mix, you whined quietly as your entrance begged for attention.
Your hand quickly moved to your exposed pussy and to no surprise it was soaking wet. Your head gently knocked on the wall as you slipped your fingers inside your tight entrance, causing you to let out a small moan.
In the room next to you, Wooyoung sat directly on the opposite side of the wall, his hard cock gripped in one hand. He had been driving himself crazy the last few hours, hearing the sounds of your moans from the bathroom played in his head over and over again.
All he wanted to do was go into your room and shove his cock inside you, but he resisted and thatâs when he turned to his phone. His cock twitched as he heard you start to moan, the bright red tip leaked pre-cum that he used as lube to help pump his hand.
You and Woo continued to moan and it had became obvious that it wasnât to the porno. You couldnât keep yourself from just moaning anymore, and softly started to speak. âIâm so wet.â
Woo audibly groaned in response, âmy dick is so hard for you.â
The moans and dirty talking continued back and forth, pushing you closer and closer to orgasm.
âFuck, I wanna cum,â you moaned
âYou want me to cum with you?â
âYea, cum with me. Cum like youâre fucking this tight pussy,â
Both your moans increased, your hands worked quickly to pump your hole and rub your clit. Your body started to shake as you got louder and louder with each rub, âIâm gonna cumâŠ.fuckâ
âCum for me.â
âYes. Yes Iâm fucking cumming.â Your body shook into orgasm as you continued to rub your clit, the other gripped the sheets as you listened to the sound of Woo panting and groaning.
âYou made me cum so much,â he groaned, âwhat a good girl you are.â
His words sent shivers down your spine, pushing you further more into orgasm. âOnly for you,â you moaned, your body hovering a bit off the bed as your came to peak.
You finally came to rest, continuing to softly moan as you came down.
âThis has to be our secret, you know that right, baby?â
âOur secret.â You yawned, curling yourself up in your sheets.
âGoodnight.â
âGoodnight.â
You had slept peacefully through the night, feeling relieved but afraid of what was to come.
The next morning you woke to the sound of yelling coming from the kitchen, but what through you off was the unknown female who was arguing with Wooyoung.
âYouâre just leaving? She needs her mother, why would you even think of leaving?â
âBecause I canât take being stuck her anymore. I need to get out and have some freedom.â
âAt our daughters expense?â
The voices lowered as you heard San enter the apartment, he was quick to address the situation and defend his best friend.
âWhat? She trying to run away again?â San scoffed, it was a rare tone for your brother to have but you could hear the hatred in his voice.
âThis has nothing to do with you San!â The female shouted.
âConsidering sheâs my god-child, I think it does. Why donât you just tell him the truth.â
âSan, shut the fuck up.â
You were too focused on the argument happening that you didnât hear the footsteps coming towards your room, âHey, sorryâŠâ Woo peaked his head in, holding back a small laugh as he saw your attempt to hide against the wall.
You felt the heat rush to your cheeks again as you took a few steps back, allowing Woo into your room. Your fingers played with the bottom of your shirt as he set a baby carrier down, âYour brother is scary when heâs mad.â He chuckled nervously, running his hand through his long black hair.
âHe cares deeply thatâs why.â You said softly, kneeling on the ground next to the carrier. âWhatâs this little ones name?â
Wooyoung ïżŒlowered himself down next to you, his closeness sent waves of warmth through your body. âThis is miss Ella, my pride and joy.â
His face brightened as the beautiful baby girl smiled up at him, her small hand wrapped around his finger. âDo you mind watching her? Just until everything is sorted.â He asked.
âOf course I donât mind.â You smiled, tickling your finger along Ellaâs chubby leg. Woo quickly freed her from her carrier, standing up to embrace and kiss her sweetly. You couldnât help but smile.
âSheâs really chill and everything you need is in the bag.â Woo noted, turning to pass Ella to you. âHey pretty girl.â You smiled as you took her into your arms. You wanted to pause this moment forever, but the yelling from the living room was only getting worse.
âFu- thank you.â Woo said quickly, pulling you in for a quick hug. He paused for a moment, pressing a kiss above your ear before whispering, âI owe you.â
The time had past faster than expected and thankfully the three in the living room calmed down and started to speak about the situation. As far as you knew, Woo had been fighting with his, now ex, for almost a year. You remember him mentioning how she just wanted to party and bullshit her life away, thankfully it hadnât effected Ella in any way.
Both you and Ella had passed out at some point, the quiet sound of baby sensory videos made it one of the best naps youâve ever had.
Your eyes fluttered opened as Woo sat down on the bed, taking Ella into his lap. âI didnât mean to wake you.â
You shook your head as you sat up, running a hand through your hair as you grabbed some of Ellaâs snacks. âNo, itâs okay. I bet this one is starving.â You popped open the can of puffs, which she happily started shoving in her mouth.
âSan went out to get some stuff, he wanted me to ask you if it was okay if we stayed here for a bit.â Wooâs eyes met with yours for a quick second, âI told him I couldnât do that to you. Itâs not fair.â
âIâm not letting you guys live in a motel or something.â You chewed on the inside of your lip as you crisscrossed your legs and scooted a little closer. âShe deserves somewhere safe.â You smiled down at Ella, booping her nose.
You could feel Wooâs eyes on you as you babbled with Ella, it made you feel warm and safe in a way. But with things taking a sudden turn, you felt like you had to shove those feelings back down again.
âIf San says youâre staying then you are.â You insisted. âIâll help with whatever you need.â
âYou really donât have to do that.â
âI want to, itâs the least I could do really.â
Your hand slowly slid to his arm, giving it a gentle squeeze. âPlease, let me help.â
His eyes met with yours again, giving you that tingly feeling you were becoming familiar with. He leaned in and placed a kiss on your cheek, letting it linger for a long moment before he pulled back and looked at you. His eyes flashed from yours to your lips, he slowly leaned in and your eyes fluttered shut.
âYunho! Can you watch where youâre going!â Sanâs voice suddenly filled the apartment, causing you to jump back and climb off the bed. âWe should probably go help.â You said quickly, trying to stop yourself from blushing hard.
Thankfully Yunho had dragged Ellaâs play-pen in first, so you set her up inside it with a few toys to keep her busy. The next few hours were spent helping San gather some of his things, as he planned to stay with his girlfriend so Woo and Ella could use the room.
After stuffing their faces with pizza, the boys were on their way, leaving you alone with Woo and Ella.
You hummed quietly to yourself as you washed the dishes, lost in your own thoughts when a set of arms gently wrapped around your core. âI could have done those.â Woo said softly, resting his head on your shoulder.
âItâs fine, doing dishes actually relaxes me.â You laughed, glancing down at his hands as his thumb gently rubbed against your stomach. You knew shoving your feelings down was going to be a challenge.
âHey, I think we should-â You paused to turn around, taking his hands in yours. You looked into his eyes, getting lost in sparkly brown galaxies for a moment. âI justâŠâ your eyes trailed to his lips before shifting back downward.
His pressed a kiss on your forehead before pulling you into a tight hug. âI know.â
You rested your head against his chest, taking in his scent. The feeling of comfort and warmth washed over you as you hugged him back, âYou have no idea how much this sucks.â
A few days passed since Woo and Ella moved in and things around the apartment finally felt calm. You spent a majority of your time with Ella while Woo helped San prepare for the next fight.
After a day at the gym, Woo came home drenched in sweat and quickly took a shower after popping in to say hi to Ella. ïżŒ
You were sitting on your bed reading when he walked into your room in nothing but a towel.
âI got something for you.â
âSomething other than this?â You joked, sue him up and down.
He smirked and shook his head as he sat down next to you in your bed, placing a little square box down. âOpen it.â
You rose your eyebrow at him before opening the black box, inside was a rose gold bracelet with a row of tiny aquamarine crystals on it. Your eyes filled with tears as a child hood memory flooded in. The bracelet was almost an exact match to one your late father had given to you and that your former best friend stole.
âWhere did you find this?â You asked, looking at him through watery eyes.
âSan and I where checking out a space under this pawn shop up north. I spotted it thinking youâd like it and San told me about the one your dad gave you.â Woo took the bracelet from the box and took your hand into his and placed it on. âHe pouted the whole way home that I never buy him gifts.â Woo laughed, adjusting it on your wrist before holding it in his.
âThank you. Itâs beautiful.â You leaned over and wrapped your arms around him, placing one hand on the back of his head so you could hold him close. His wet body practically stuck to yours and as he hugged you back, he placed gentle kisses between your neck and shoulder.
You felt your body shutter at the sensation, the faintest of moans escaped your lips.
Wooâs hands slipped up the back of your shirt as your breathing picked up, he moved a small bit to get more access to your neck. His lips started to peck softly, slowly turning into gentle sucking and nibbling.
Your hand slowly slid from the back of his head and down his chest before resting gently on his waist, tempted to pull the towel open. Your legs slowly pushed down the light comforter on top of you as you moved yourself closer to Woo, unable to contain yourself any longer.
One of Wooyoungâs hands moved to your front, he slowly ran his fingers across your side boob before starting to play with your nipple. You moaned softly, letting out a small whine as he finally pulled away and looking at you with shy eyes. âCan I take this off?â He asked, tugging at your shirt.
You leaned away from him and nodded, helping him as he slipped you out of your shirt, exposing your naked body. Your cheeks rushed a dark red as your finger tapped on the loosely wrapped towel, you pulled it open with his permission.
You both took a minute to scan each others bodies, Woo fingers trailed against your sensitive skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps.
âI want you.â Woo whispered.
You scooted back on the bed, giving him room to lay down next to you. His towel fell as he stood to reposition, his hard cock stood to attention as he pulled the covers over the both of you.
Your lips were now itches away from his, âWe shouldnât.â Your hand trailed down the side of his body before resting on his hip. âBut I donât think I can keep myself from you any longer.â
Wooyoung pulled himself closer to you, âSo donât.â His lips brushed against yours, âHe knows Iâm in love with you.â
âW-what? What ar-â
His lips crashed into yours before you could finish your sentence, kissing you deeply and passionately.
You let your whole body sink into the kiss, tangling your legs with his as you moved your hand to his cock while his found its way to your clit.
He was everything youâd dreamt about and even better than youâre fantasies. Wooyoung made your entire body feel electric.
You moaned against his lips as you became more and more aroused. A small gasp escaped your lips as he slid a finger inside your tight entrance, you could hear how wet you were with each movement his finger made.
Wooâs head dipped down to your chest, where he placed kisses all around your breast before taking the nipple into his mouth. His tongue swirled around the tender bud, flicking and sucking.
âFuck.â You moaned, tangling your hand in his hair as he leaned you onto your back. His mouth moved to your other nipple and your hands gripped the sheets as he added a second finger into your pussy.
Woo trailed kisses back up to your lips as his fingers slowly slid from inside you, âTaste.â
You opened your mouth as he slowly put two sweet tasting fingers inside, âGood girl.â He praised, kissing you again as he guided the tip of his cock through your pussy lips.
You whined quietly as he teased your entrance, poking just the tip in and out as he slowly worked to fit his cock deeper and deeper inside. You cursed against his lips as your nails dug into his chest and his thick cock filled you out.
You held each other close as you continued to fuck, whispering sweet nothings to each other and none stop kissing. You couldnât help fall for him more and more as the night went on. It felt so new but familiar at the same time.
You woke the next morning in bed alone, but to the sound of dishes clinking in the kitchen. You ran a hand through your hair, still damp from the late night shower you had with Woo and grabbed one of his long sleeve shirts before making your way into the kitchen.
You stood back and took a moment to take it all in. Wooyoung cooking away with Ella balanced on his hip, chatting away with her about colors and numbers.
âMorning.â You said softly, walking towards the two and placed a kiss on Ellaâs cheek before Wooâs.
Wooyoung smiled down at you, âCould you put her in her chair please.â He asked, placing a kiss on your forehead.
âOf course.â
When you turned around again, Woo quickly cupped your face and kissed you deeply, pulling you in as close as he could. âI couldnât kiss you properly with her in my arms.â
You leaned up on your tippy toes as you wrapped your arms around his waist, âI guess we can forgive you.â You teased.
After a few minutes, Woo joined you and Ella at the table, pulling you onto his lap as you happily enjoyed the meal he made. It made your heart warm.
Weeks started to fly by as you grew closer to Wooyoung, falling more and more in love with him. You also got to know Ella a lot more, her habits and routine, things that made her happy or upset. She was pretty easy once you figured out what the problem was.
Wooyoung and San had been winning fights left and right, bringing in more money than their accounts could hold. While things seemed to be going perfectly, it suddenly came crashing down.
The door slammed opened just as you were finished changing Ella, a wave of panic and urgency filled the home.
âY/N, get your things. Now. Whatever you need for at least a monthâ San ordered, his eyes filled with anger as he stormed through the house, grabbing your items of clothing and shoving them into a duffle bag.
Wooyoung was right behind him, your heart dropped as your eyes met with his. âWhatâs happening?â
âY/N! Hurry!â San yelled from your room.
âWe need to get you two out of here.â His words were cut short as San came out of your room, once again shouting an order at you to gather your things.
Within a few minutes you had gathered just about everything you could think of, anything you needed on a daily. It took all your energy to hold your emotions back as the sight unfolded in front of you, San and Woo were running back and forth packing things into an unfamiliar vehicle.
âWooâŠplease tell me whatâs going on?â You asked as Ella started to cry in your arms. You softly patted her back and shushed her as he quickly started to bring you to the SUV, doing everything in your power to hold back tears.
Without an answer, he swept Ella from your arms as San spun you towards him.
âYou trust me?â He asked, looking you directly in the eyes.
âAlwaysâŠâ
He pulled you into a hug, immediately causing the tears to fall from your eyes. âI promise weâll come back to you and Ella.â
âWhat the fuck do you mean?â You shoved yourself back from him, anger now taking over.
âWe have to go. I love you.â
He rushed over to his car, yelling at Woo to wrap it up.
You yelled after him, trying to follow when Wooyoung grabbed your wrist and turned you to him. There was sadness in his eyes and it broke your heart.
Your tears started to fall again as he pulled you into him for a kiss. The salty taste from your combined tears slipped between your lips.
âI love you. Please take care of her.â
Wooyoung quickly got you into the car where Ella was sitting in her car seat, holding one of Wooâs shirts. He gave you one last kiss before closing the door.
âNoâŠNo!â You cried out, trying to open the door. Childlock was on, and he was already quickly heading towards the other car.
As both cars took off in opposite direction, there was nothing you could do but fall onto the seat and cry.

PART TWO
[20:19] wooyoung
can i kiss you? scenario 7/8
âwooyoung, donât be stupid,â you breathed out, with laughs cutting in between every word you managed to speak before your best friend suggested yet another ridiculous plan to somehow escape the upcoming class none of you were excited for. with him positioned between your legs as youâsomehowâ managed to braid up strands of his hair, it was so easy to forget that the two of you were only on friendly terms and nothing more.
âi swear it could work!â he had exclaimed, turning to look up at you with the most devilish grin. with his eyes twinkling, brimming with mischief and excitement, he added, âremember the last time we got in trouble? your mom wouldnât let me into the house anymore.â
âyeah, and iâm not trying to let that happen again,â you rolled your eyes, but deep down, the fear of never seeing wooyoung again terrified you half to death. although your temporary separation was definitely funny for him, it was the complete opposite for you. your parents sounded quite serious about removing wooyoung from your life, going off about how he was a terrible influence, but you couldnât care less. the two of you had been friends since kindergarten anywayâ itâs not like your parents donât know how wooyoung is.
âthat wooyoung kid is getting to your head, brainwashing you or something,â your mother spoke, sighing as she placed the dishes back onto the dish rack. âyouâre lucky your grades are fine. i wonder how much better you could do if youâd just stop hanging out with him,â she added, but you just stopped paying attention. you could only hear the rapid sound of your heartbeat then. all sorts of situations and excuses came to mind, preparing for the event of having to cut wooyoung off. and yet, at the end of every thought, comes a sickening punch in your gut.
âwoah, are you alright?â wooyoung placed a hand on your knee and shook it, to which you responded with a jolt. ây/n?â he looked at you and you felt your feet tickle, your chest heavy and your stomach turning. oh god. oh god no.
âoh god, i like you.â the words came out amidst the chaos of your thoughts, and almost immediately, you snapped out of your trance. âi mean! what?â you tried to cover up, but wooyoung was already sitting there, looking up at you with a stupid grin on his face, like he always does.
âand it took you that long to say anything?â he laughed, standing up to pat your head. âgood job, y/n iâm proud of you. fucking finally,â he sighed.
âhuh?â you looked at him, confused.
âi know- well iâve known, for a while now. or i assumed, kinda,â wooyoung rolled his eyes. he smirked and moved closer, his face pushing to stand in front of yours. âi was just waiting for you to say something,â he added.
âyouâre kidding,â you furrowed your eyebrows. âyouâre joking right now, arenât you?â you asked, and he laughed.
âyou want me to show you how serious i am?â he smiled an overly exaggerated smile. his gaze dropped from your eyes to your mouth, tracing its shape for a brief moment before they returned. âcan i kiss you?â his voice softened, turning velvety as he spoke.
the two of you exchanged silent looks before you nodded, and that green light was all it took for him to wrap his arms around your waist and pull you closer as he kissed you. the initial butterflies in your stomach dispersed, and somehow, everything felt lighter.
a knock on the door prompted the two of you to pull away, breathless with your cheeks tinted red. your mother looked at the two of you with her lips pursed, and nodded as she took a few steps back, shaking her head with a smile as she closed the door to your room.
âfantastic,â wooyoungâs chirpy voice cut the silence. ânow where were we?â he smiled.
you placed your palm on his face and pushed him away playfully. well, congratulations on your very own childhood friends to lovers trope.

a/n: just a sucker for dom Wooyoung đ”âđ« enjoy! (not proofread)
You were part of this tight-knit friend group with Wooyoung, Yunho, San, Mingi, and Yeosang. Usually, you would have considered yourself lucky to be surrounded by such a cool bunch of people, but there was one glaring exception: Wooyoung. From the moment you met, you and Wooyoung clashed like fire and ice. You were both cocky, always trying to outdo each other with snarky comments and sarcastic remarks.
It wasnât even like you had any reason to hate each other; it just happened. Maybe it was how Wooyoung always seemed so smug, with that infuriating smirk plastered on his face. Or maybe it was how he would always find some way to one-up you, no matter what. Either way, the tension between you two was almost palpable, and it was clear to everyone around.
The others in the group seemed to take it in stride. Yunho and San would roll their eyes and laugh it off, while Mingi would try to play peacemaker, often unsuccessfully. Yeosang, on the other hand, seemed to find your constant bickering somewhat amusing, though he rarely got involved. Despite the tension, the group managed to stick together, probably because your mutual animosity oddly balanced the dynamic.
One Friday night, you were all hanging out at their place, lounging on his beat-up couch, debating over what movie to watch. Wooyoung, as usual, had a different opinion from you. He wanted to watch some action flick while you were in the mood for a horror movie. The debate quickly turned into a full-blown argument, with you and Wooyoung standing face-to-face, jabbing at each other with pointed insults, as usual.
âWhy donât you just admit your taste in movies sucks?â Wooyoung sneered, crossing his arms.
âOh please, like you even understand what makes a good movie,â you shot back, your tone dripping with sarcasm.
Yunho sighed loudly, standing between you two. âAlright, can we just decide already? Itâs just a movie.â
San laughed, shaking his head. âYou two are hopeless. Canât even pick a movie without turning it into World War Three.â
The argument over which movie to watch was reaching a boiling point, and everyone in the room could sense it. You and Wooyoung were standing toe-to-toe, practically shouting over each other.
âIâm telling you, action movies are way more entertaining,â Wooyoung argued, his voice filled with exasperation.
âAnd Iâm telling you, horror movies have way better plots,â you shot back, not willing to back down.
Yunho exchanged a knowing glance with San and Mingi. Theyâd had enough of the constant bickering and had been joking for weeks about taking drastic measures to put an end to it.
âAlright, thatâs it,â Yunho said suddenly, standing up. âI canât take this anymore. We need a break from your constant fighting.â
Before you could react, Yunho grabbed you by the arm while San and Mingi grabbed Wooyoung. You struggled, demanding to be let go, but they were determined.
âHey! What the hell are you doing?â you yelled, trying to shake off Yunhoâs grip.
âLet go of me! Iâm not done here!â Wooyoung protested, struggling against San and Mingi.
Yeosang, who had been quietly watching the whole scene unfold, opened Wooyoungâs bedroom door. âIn you go,â he said calmly, stepping aside.
Yunho and San practically shoved you both into the room and quickly shut the door behind you. You heard the click of the lock, and the realization set in.
âAre you guys serious?â you shouted, pounding on the door. âThis is so immature!â
âYeah, open the door! We donât need this!â Wooyoung added, equally furious.
From the other side of the door, Yunhoâs voice came through, sounding uncharacteristically stern. âYou two need to sort this out. Weâre not letting you out until you do.â
âYou canât be serious,â you groaned, leaning against the door in frustration.
âOh, weâre very serious,â San replied, his tone leaving no room for argument. âYouâre both our friends, and weâre tired of the constant fighting. So figure it out.â
Inside the room, you turned to face Wooyoung, who was glaring at you with just as much annoyance as you felt. You crossed your arms, refusing to be the first to speak.
âThis is ridiculous,â Wooyoung muttered, pacing back and forth. âLike locking us in here is going to make us get along.â
âWell, maybe if you werenât such a jerk all the time, we wouldnât be in this situation,â you retorted, not missing a beat.
Wooyoung stopped pacing and turned to face you, his eyes flashing with irritation. âMe? A jerk? Youâre the one whoâs always acting like youâre better than everyone else!â
âOh, please,â you scoffed, rolling your eyes. âI only act like that because you always have to be the center of attention!â
Outside, you could hear your friends laughing and chatting, clearly unconcerned about the drama unfolding inside the room.
âCanât believe they did this,â you muttered under your breath.
âSame,â he replied, sitting down on his bed with a huff. âThis is all your fault.â
âMy fault? How is this my fault?â you demanded, sitting down on the floor opposite him.
âYouâre the one who always has to argue with me,â he said, gripping his hair in frustration. âYou just canât let anything go.â
âBecause youâre always wrong!â you shot back, the argument feeling strangely familiar, yet different with no audience to play to.
You exchanged a heated glance with Wooyoung, who looked ready to explode. âThis is all your fault,â he said, his voice low and accusing.
âMy fault? Youâve got to be kidding me,â you shot back, crossing your arms. âIf you werenât such a pain in the ass, we wouldnât be here.â
âOh, please,â Wooyoung sneered, getting up from the bed and stepping closer. âYouâre the one whoâs always picking fights.â
âBecause youâre always so damn infuriating!â you retorted, matching his step forward until you were face to face.
The tension between you was palpable, and for a moment, it felt like something would snap. Instead, you both turned away with a huff, deciding that silence might be the best strategy. Maybe if you stopped engaging, your friends would see how pointless this was and let you out.
The silence stretched on, heavy and uncomfortable. You sat on the floor, leaning against the bed, while Wooyoung sat on the edge of it, staring at the wall. The minutes ticked by slowly, each second filled with unspoken words and unresolved tension. You could feel his presence, every movement and breath, making it impossible to fully relax.
After what felt like an eternity, the silence became too much to bear. You shifted, the slight noise breaking the uneasy peace. Wooyoung glanced at you, his expression unreadable.
âWhat?â you snapped, unable to hold back.
âNothing,â he muttered, looking away again.
The frustration boiled over. âYou always do this,â you said, your voice rising. âActing like youâre so much better than everyone else.â
Wooyoungâs head whipped around, his eyes flashing with anger. âBetter than everyone else? Youâre the one whoâs always acting like you have something to prove!â
âI wouldnât have to if you didnât constantly try to undermine me!â you shouted, standing up.
âYouâre unbelievable,â he said, standing up to face you. âYou think youâre the only one whoâs frustrated? You make everything so damn difficult!â
âMe? Youâre the one whoââ
The argument escalated quickly, voices rising, insults flying. The room seemed to shrink around you as the anger and frustration spilled over. You were both shouting now, words tumbling out without thought.
âYouâre so arrogant!â you yelled, stepping closer to him.
âAnd youâre so damn stubborn!â Wooyoung shot back, closing the distance between you even more.
The space between you was electric, charged with anger and something else you couldnât quite identify. The fight became more heated, the words more cutting.
âYou think youâre so smart, donât you?â you said, your voice shaking with anger. âBut youâre just a coward, hiding behind that smug attitude!â
Wooyoungâs eyes blazed with fury. âYou donât know anything about me!â
âMaybe because you never let anyone in!â you screamed, pushing him back. He stumbled slightly, then came back, his face inches from yours.
âMaybe because you never tried to understand!â he shouted, his breath hot on your face.
You felt a surge of anger and recklessness take over. âWhy would I want to understand someone as pathetic as you?â you shot back, your words sharp and cutting.
Wooyoungâs eyes flashed dangerously. âShut up,â he said, his voice low and filled with warning.
You met his gaze with a challenging look, the anger and adrenaline making you bold. âMake me,â you replied, your voice steady despite the wild beating of your heart.
For a moment, everything seemed to freeze. Then, before you could react, Wooyoung grabbed your shoulders and pulled you toward him, crashing his lips against yours in a rough, almost desperate kiss. The suddenness of it stole your breath, and for a split second, you were too stunned to respond.
But then you felt a surge of heat, a mix of anger and something much deeper. You kissed him back just as fiercely, your hands moving to tangle in his hair as you tried to pull him even closer. It was a battle, not a kissâeach of you trying to dominate, to claim the upper hand.
Wooyoungâs hands tightened on your shoulders, his grip almost bruising as he pushed you back against the wall. You gasped, but it only made the kiss more intense. Your hands slipped from his hair to his back, clutching at his shirt as if it was the only thing keeping you grounded.
The kiss was messy, all teeth and tongues and raw need. You could feel the anger in it, the frustration and the years of unspoken tension. But there was something else, tooâa desperate desire, a need to finally break through the barriers youâd both put up.
You fought back, your hands tangling in his hair, pulling hard enough to make him grunt. He responded by pressing you harder against the wall, his grip on your shoulders almost bruising. His lips moved against yours with a fierce intensity, his teeth nipping at your lower lip, demanding submission.
âIs that all youâve got?â you taunted, your voice breathless but defiant.
Wooyoung growled, one hand moving to grip your jaw, tilting your head back forcefully. âYou really donât know when to shut up, do you?â he muttered against your lips before biting down harshly on your lower lip, drawing a gasp from you, almost drawing blood.
You retaliated by digging your nails into his back through his shirt, trying to assert some control. But Wooyoung was relentless. He grabbed your wrists and pinned them above your head with one hand, his body pressing against yours, leaving you no room to move.
âPathetic,â he whispered, his breath hot against your ear. âYouâre always so desperate to prove yourself.â
âBetter than being a smug asshole,â you shot back, twisting in his grip but finding no escape.
Wooyoungâs laugh was dark and mocking. âYou like this, donât you? Being put in your place.â His free hand trailed down your side, gripping your hip hard enough to leave marks.
âShut up,â you spat, trying to ignore the heat pooling in your stomach.
âMake me,â he countered, echoing your earlier challenge. His lips found yours again, even rougher this time, his tongue forcing its way into your mouth, dominating every movement.
You bit down on his tongue, earning a growl from him as he pulled back slightly, only to return with even more force. His kiss was punishing, each movement designed to remind you who was in control. You couldnât help but respond, your body betraying you as you arched against him.
âYouâre such a brat,â he hissed, his lips moving down to your neck, biting and sucking hard enough to leave marks. âAlways trying to fight me, but youâre just as desperate for this as I am.â
ââFuck you,â you repeated, though the words lacked conviction as a moan escaped your lips.
âAdmit it,â he demanded, his hand slipping under your shirt, fingers digging into your skin. âAdmit that you want this.â
âNever,â you gasped, tugging against his hold on your wrists.
He yanked your hands down, pinning them behind your back with one hand while his other hand slipped under your shirt, trailing down your stomach with rough, possessive movements.
âLet go of me,â you demanded, but your voice wavered, betraying your conflicting emotions.
âOh, I donât think so,â he said, a cruel smile playing on his lips. âNot until you learn to keep that mouth of yours shut.â His fingers found the waistband of your pants, slipping inside with a determined, almost punishing force.
You gasped as his fingers brushed against your core, the sensation both shocking and electrifying. âYouâre such an ass,â you hissed, trying to ignore the heat pooling in your stomach.
âSuch a dirty little mouth,â he taunted, his fingers moving with a rough precision that made it impossible to think clearly. He found your clit quickly, starting to circle it roughly. âMaybe I should teach you a lesson.ââ
Before you could respond, his fingers pushed inside you, the intrusion rough and unyielding. You bit back a moan, refusing to give him the satisfaction, but it was impossible to ignore the intensity of his touch.
âYou like that, donât you?â he whispered in your ear, his breath hot and taunting. âYou act all tough, but deep down, youâre just a needy little slut.â
âShut up,â you managed to gasp, your body betraying you as you arched against his hand.
His fingers moved faster, rougher, each movement designed to break down your resistance. âFuck. Youâre so wet for me. Just admit it.â
You clenched your jaw, refusing to give in. âI hate you,â you spat, though the words lacked conviction.
âOh, I know you do,â he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. âBut your body says otherwise.â He added another finger, stretching you, making you gasp. âLook at you, so desperate and needy. Itâs pathetic.â
You wanted to retort, to throw another insult his way, but the sensation was overwhelming. His fingers moved with a brutal efficiency, hitting just the right spots to make you squirm. The anger and hatred mixed with the undeniable physical attraction, creating a storm of conflicting emotions.
âSay it,â he demanded, his voice rough and commanding. âAdmit that you want this.â
âNever,â you gasped, though the word came out more like a moan.
Wooyoungâs eyes narrowed, and he thrust his fingers harder, making you cry out despite yourself. âSay it,â he repeated, his tone leaving no room for argument.
âI⊠I want it,â you finally admitted, the words torn from you unwillingly.
âGood girl,â he murmured, a mocking smile on his lips. âWas that so hard?â He continued his rough ministrations, his fingers moving in a relentless rhythm that left you trembling.
The words were degrading, but they pushed you over the edge. Your body convulsed around his fingers, pleasure crashing through you in waves. You cried out, unable to hold back, your hands gripping his arms for support.
Wooyoung watched you with a satisfied smirk, his fingers continuing to move inside you, drawing out every last bit of your orgasm. "That's it, sweetheart,ââ he murmured, his voice softening just a fraction.
You tried to catch your breath to regain some semblance of control, but Wooyoung was already kneeling in front of you, his hands roughly pushing your pants and underwear down to your ankles.
âWh-what are you doing?â you stammered, though your body betrayed you with a shiver of anticipation.
âYou think Iâm done with you?â he growled, his hands gripping your thighs hard enough to leave marks. âIâm going to show you what happens when you push me too far.â
Before you could respond, he leaned in, his tongue flicking against your clit with a precision that made your knees buckle. You gasped, one hand flying to his hair, the other bracing against the wall for support.
âWooyoung, stopââ you started, but your words dissolved into a moan as he sucked hard on your clit, his tongue working you over with relentless, rough strokes.
âYouâre going to scream for me,â he muttered against you, his voice vibrating through your core. âLet your friends hear how much you need this.â
âFuckâno,â you managed to gasp, though your voice wavered.
Wooyoung laughed, the sound dark and cruel. âWeâll see about that.â He intensified his movements, his tongue moving in ruthless circles while his fingers dug into your thighs, holding you in place.
You bit your lip, trying to stifle the sounds threatening to escape, but it was no use. The combination of his rough touch and skilled tongue was too much. Your hips bucked against his mouth, and a cry slipped out before you could stop it.
âLouder,â he demanded, pulling back just enough to speak, his breath hot against your sensitive skin. âI want them to hear how much you love this.â
âFuck you,â you spat, but the defiance was slipping away with every flick of his tongue.
He chuckled, the sound sending shivers down your spine. âMaybe later,â he said, diving back in with renewed intensity. His tongue moved faster, harder, and you could feel the pressure building again, even more overwhelming than before.
Your resolve crumbled, and you let out a loud moan, unable to hold back. Wooyoung smirked against you, his satisfaction evident as he continued to push you closer to the edge.
âThatâs it,â he murmured between strokes. âScream for me like the needy little slut you are.â
You tried to resist, to stay bratty and defiant, but it was impossible. The pleasure was too intense, his dominance too overwhelming. With a final, desperate cry, you came, your body trembling as the orgasm crashed over you.
He didnât let up, his tongue working you through the aftershocks, drawing out every last bit of pleasure until you were a shaking, gasping mess. Only then did he pull back, his lips glistening with your arousal, a satisfied smirk on his face.
He stood up from his knees, his eyes dark with a mix of triumph and raw lust. You barely had time to catch your breath before he was on you again, his hands rough as they grabbed your wrists and pulled you toward the desk beside you.
âYou think weâre done?â he growled, his voice filled with cruel amusement. âNot even close.â
You tried to muster some defiance, but the intensity of the situation left you breathless. âYouâre such an asshole,â you managed to say, though your voice was shaky.
âAnd youâre about to learn just how much of an asshole I can be,â he replied, pushing you forward so that your upper body was bent over the desk. His hands were on your hips.
Wooyoung didnât waste any time. You heard the rustle of his clothes as he freed himself, and then you felt the blunt pressure of his cock against your entrance. He didnât bother with gentleness; he thrust into you in one brutal motion, making you cry out.
âFuck, youâre so tight,â he groaned, his grip on your hips bruising as he started to move, setting a punishing pace. âBet you love being fucked like this, donât you?â
You tried to hold onto some semblance of control, to maintain your defiance. âGo to hell,â you spat, though the words were weak, almost drowned out by the sounds of his relentless thrusts.
Wooyoung laughed, a dark, mocking sound. âAlready there, sweetheart,â he replied, his hips snapping against yours with a brutal rhythm. âAnd youâre fucking coming with me.â
Each thrust was rough and demanding, pushing you closer to the edge with a ruthless efficiency. You could feel the desk digging into your skin, but the pleasure was overwhelming, making it hard to focus on anything else.
âSuch a dirty little slut,â he murmured, leaning over you so that his breath was hot against your ear. âCanât even form a proper sentence, can you?â
You tried to respond, but all that came out was a broken moan. Wooyoungâs pace quickened, his thrusts growing even more forceful, and you felt the pressure building again, a coil tightening inside you. Wooyoung felt your tight walls pulsing around his cock.Â
âYouâre going to come for me again, arenât you?â he taunted, his voice low and rough. âSay it.â
âIââ you gasped, trying to fight the pleasure, but it was useless. âIâm going toââ
âThatâs right,â he cut you off, his tone filled with dark satisfaction. âCome for me, you filthy brat.â
The words pushed you over the edge, and you came with a loud cry, your body trembling as the orgasm ripped through you. Wooyoung didnât let up, his thrusts relentless as he chased his own release.
âLook at you,â he said, his voice filled with contempt and desire. âSo desperate and needy. Pathetic.â
He pulled out suddenly, leaving you empty and aching. Before you could process the loss, he was moving you again, his hands rough as he pushed you toward the bed. You stumbled, falling onto the mattress, and he was on you in an instant, flipping you onto your back.
âThink you can handle more?â he asked, his eyes dark and challenging.
You nodded, too breathless to speak, your body already craving the next wave of pleasure.
âGood,â he said, positioning himself between your legs.Â
He entered you again, the angle different but no less brutal. Your hands clutched at the sheets, trying to anchor yourself as he pounded into you, each thrust pushing you closer to the edge once more. He took your thigh and pressed it against your chest, thrusting deeper.Â
âFuck, you feel so good,â he groaned, his grip on your thigh hard enough to leave marks. âSuch a perfect little slut for me.â
The pleasure was overwhelming, turning your mind into a hazy blur. You could barely form coherent thoughts, let alone words, as he fucked you with a relentless intensity, pouring all the rage from earlier into it.Â
âCanât even talk, can you?â he mocked, his voice filled with cruel amusement. âToo dumb from getting fucked by my cock.â
You tried to respond, but all that came out was a series of incoherent moans. Wooyoungâs thrusts grew even more forceful, and you felt the pressure building again, another orgasm threatening to crash over you.
âYouâre going to come again,â he said, his tone commanding. âAnd youâre going to scream my name when you do.â
You shook your head, trying to hold onto some shred of defiance, but it was useless. The pleasure was too much, too overwhelming. With a final, brutal thrust, you came, your body arching off the bed as the orgasm tore through you, as you screamed his name.Â
âGood girl,â he murmured, his voice rough with satisfaction. He continued to move, his pace never faltering, pushing you through the aftershocks and into another wave of pleasure.
By the time he finally came, his release hot and overwhelming inside you, you were a trembling, incoherent mess. He pulled out slowly, leaving you breathless and spent on the bed.
âSee?â he said, his voice filled with mocking satisfaction. âAll you needed was to be put in your place.â
You glared at him weakly, the fire of your anger not completely extinguished despite the overwhelming pleasure. âI still hate you,â you managed to say, though your voice was weak, more breathless.
âAnd I still hate you too,â he replied, his expression hard. âBut at least now you know what happens when you push me too far.â
The room was filled with the tension of your unresolved hatred, the physical release doing nothing to ease the animosity between you. As you lay there, trying to catch your breath and regain some sense of composure, one thing was clear: the war between you and Wooyoung was far from over, but for now, you had been thoroughly defeated.
ââââââââ
Outside Wooyoungâs room, Yunho, San, Mingi, and Yeosang were still gathered, exchanging knowing glances and quiet laughter as they waited for the inevitable explosion of another argument. However, when the first loud moan echoed through the door, their expressions changed from amusement to shock.
âDid you just hear that?â San asked, eyes wide, looking at the others for confirmation.
âYeah, I definitely heard something,â Yunho replied, raising an eyebrow. âThat didnât sound like an argument.â
Mingi covered his mouth, trying to stifle a laugh. âI think theyâre⊠uh⊠working things out in a different way.â
Yeosangâs eyes widened as another, louder moan filtered through the door, followed by a string of incoherent words. âOh my god, theyâre really going at it,â he said, looking both amused and slightly horrified.
Yunho shook his head, a grin spreading across his face. âWell, this is unexpected.â
San smirked, nudging Yunho. âGuess our plan worked a little too well.â
Mingi couldnât contain his laughter anymore. âShould we just⊠leave them to it?â
Yeosang nodded vigorously. âYeah, I donât think they need an audience for this.â
Yunho stood up, clapping his hands together. âAlright, everyone. Letâs give them some privacy. I think theyâve got enough to handle without us hanging around.â
San stretched, yawning dramatically. âYeah, I could use a break from all the drama anyway.â
As they gathered their things, another particularly loud moan resonated through the door, making them all wince and then burst into laughter.
âOkay, thatâs our cue to leave,â Mingi said, heading towards the front door.
âMaybe we should go get some ice cream or something,â Yeosang suggested. âGive them plenty of time to⊠sort things out.â
Yunho nodded, opening the door. âGood idea. I think we all need a break from this craziness.â
As they left the house, the moans and muffled sounds of pleasure faded into the background, replaced by the summer evening's quiet hum.
âYou know, I always thought theyâd kill each other before anything like this happened,â San said, shaking his head in disbelief.
âGuess thereâs a fine line between love and hate,â Yunho chuckled.
âOr in their case, a very loud, very thin line,â Mingi added, laughing.
As they headed down the street, leaving Wooyoung and you to your privacy, the group couldnât help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. It seemed that locking you two up together had definitely brought some unexpected results.

The fox looked... pissed off at me, like I was at fault for his injuries somehow.
The fox looked ⊠pissed off at me, like I was at fault for his injuries somehow.
And that would be expected if he was still bleeding and hungry like three hours ago, but he wasnât. He was curled in that same box drenched in dried blood, because he refused to get out of it after we came inside, eating a fruit salad I made for him 15 minutes ago.
Somehow, he stayed calm while the cat was near him, without attacking or hissing at each other once, while I had scratches on my arms, because I tried to take him to a specialized vet. It was the weirdest thing Iâve ever seen. They seemed perfectly fine in each other presence.
How did he even get hurt in the first place if it wasnât the cat?
But the important part is, he wasnât making a huge mess like the first time, actually he barely moved.
He was in the corner of the living room, staring at me now and then, while chewing another piece of apple. I tried not the obvious as I glanced at him, while the cat was walking to my side on the couch.
The TV was loud, but I barely focused on it until I felt two paws kneading on my left thigh. The cat meowed once when I looked at him.
âWhat?â, I asked.
The feeling of being ridiculous for talking to him like he would answer was yet to disappear.
He meowed once more, looking at my bandaged left arm. Then, he jumped on my lap, and laid his head down on my stomach. My heart could barely take in the scene in front of my eyes. His paws kept kneading me, while caressing my arm with his fluffy head and tail.
âItâs okay, kittyâ, I said as I petted his head.
Just as soon as I touched his fur, I heard a hiss coming from the corner.
âArenât you a good one? So cuteâ, I said, still looking at the cat while petting his head.
The hissing sound didnât stop, but I kept ignoring it.
Was that fox really protective of the cat? Or he was still hurting?
To test the theory, I stopped petting the cat, yet the hissing didnât stop, and I heard a soft meow of protest, so I got back to the job.
They had to be from the same home still, but maybe the pain it was too much
That thought made me curl in the couch. I wish I could help more, but he clearly didnât like my presence even if I could, and thereâs nothing I could do about it, at least not this late. I still didnât know how he got such a deep cut, since my initial theory was wrong, and the chances of knowing are none, but I hope their owners get a grip, and start to take care of them better.
âI need a name for you⊠for both of youâ, I murmured.
Suddenly the hissing stopped, and I heard little muffed taps on the floor coming from the corner. My hands left the soft fur of the catâs head, and he wasnât happy at all, but I wasnât about to get any more scratches.
I saw the red fur of his ears picking out from the side of the couch, then one of his eyes, that bright yellow ones that for the first time didnât look like they wanted to tear me apart, instead it as almost as if i-
The fox jumped at me.
I didnât have time to close my eyes.
He stood on 4 paws by my side, bobbing his nose on the catâs head while whining, and I couldnât do anything besides watch the scene in front of my eyes. His fur touched my skin lightly, and I didnât dare to move. Then, finally, the cat seemed to understand what the fox wanted, and gave space beside himself. The whining stopped and both of them laid on my lap, side by side, as calm as the night outside.
I didnât dare to move, my heart was racing while I tried to process the bizarre scene in front of me, but the thing is, I couldnât. What kind of animal behavior is that? For my own safety, I didnât touch them, and tried my best to not move and bother them.
The living room was silent for some time, while I was lost in my own mind.
âWhere did you come from?â, I asked after sometime, and both heads looked up to me.
I didnât mean to ask it out loud, it wasnât like Iâd get an answer.
The cat decided to get up from my lap, and I thought heâd walk away. Instead, he sat on my lap while looking straight at me and raised his left paw up. I took it with my own left hand, a small smile in my face. He was too cute, weird as fuck, sure, but a cute cat.
âOh, itâs nice to meet you I guessâ, I said, moving my hand up and down in the air. âI wish you had your collar, then Iâd know how to call youâ.
He meowed, and I released his paw, but then he kept nuzzling my hand.
âYou want this?â, I caressed his head and the purring started right away.
The fox did nothing but stare, which I took as a sign he wouldnât attack me. His tail moved from left to right in a calm manner, and he seemed relaxed enough on my thigh. That was good, but his staring was unsettling to say the least. Was he staring so much at? The clothes I was wearing werenât anything special, could foxes even see this amount of colors?
The fox stood up suddenly, eyes straight on me, and I waited for the worst, however he just raised his right paw up to me, and I took it with care, avoiding his sharp nails in the process. On his neck, thereâs a clear sign of where the collar was, his fur was dirtier on a closer look, something I didnât get to do until now.
âItâs nice to meet you tooâ.
He took his own paw from my hand, and he made a sound that I could only hope it was satisfaction. The fox bumped his head on the catsâ neck, which the latter didnât seem to mind. It didnât hold too much force, just enough to⊠get attention? The cat turned his head to the fox and there was silence, like they were communicating without me knowing.
I had the urge to look up to the TV, the show I was supposed to watch still there, but I lost enough that I ended up lost on the plot. Somehow, it didnât feel right to just stare at them at the moment, so I focused on what was in front of me.
I felt the cat moving around my lap, and then another set of 4 paws.
They trust way too easy, but at least that was a good sign of the owner taking good care of them. But how the hell Iâm supposed to find them?
âKitty, you seem really smartâ, I say as I looked down at them.
He purred while the fox whined and tapped my left tight, the one he was on top of.
âYou also seem smart, foxyâ, I tried to calm him down, and my hand almost reached for his fur, but I contained myself. âBut you donât have your collars, and your owner must be worried by nowâ.
The reaction they gave me wasnât the one I expected. The word owner didnât trigger purrs, heads looking around to find him or soft meows, no, it triggered shivers, distressed whines and bodies cowering in a small ball on top of my lap.
I petted them with both hands, while my heart broke at the sight.
Good care my ass, with this type of reaction because of a single word⊠what the fuck happened to them?
âShhh, itâs okay, you both are safe, that person isnât hereâ, I whispered as I petted them. âYou can stay here, you donât have to go backâ, I said desperately as I tried to calm them down.
These clearly werenât a normal cat and fox, that much was clear, but the moment they responded to me, a word came to mind. They had to be mixed with hybrid genes, thatâs the only reason as why theyâre so human-like in a sense.
They calmed down while I whispered reassurances as best as I could, because if it was up to me, they wouldnât go back to an abusive home.
Both of them kept themselves in a little ball, as small as possible, but they were purring at least, and I took a deep breath.
âIâm sorryâ, I whispered, because it felt too wrong to speak any louder in a situation like this.
They looked up at me when I said it, still froze in place it seemed, not a single sound out of their mouths, but theirs eyes were telling enough, so expressive that I couldnât doubt they had hybrids genes.
âIâm sorry that someone was so awful to the point of you both being so terrified, Iâll find a better place for youâ.
It was slow at first, but they moved from that position and laid on me, both heads hiding between my body and arms. Their ears hanging low on their heads, and tickling my skin. The softness was shocking still, it felt like a blanket even when they were supposed to be unkempt and dirty.
âSoo, I supposed you donât want to take a bath, right?â, I said.
The reactions were immediate. The fox looked up, wide eyes, ears shot up on his head and body prepared to run as fast as he felt Iâd make him do it, but the cat kept still, and nuzzled my arm even though his eyes were locked on me.
âItâs fine, I wonât make youâ, I said as I smiled, and petted both of their heads.
It was bold of me, I could get scratched again by the fox, but he let me did it, so I took it as progress. They seemed wary still, more the fox than the cat to be honest, their personality was shinning through at that moment.
âItâs true, I wonât, I promise you that, but what about a towel? It must be uncomfortable being dirty, right?â
I looked from one to the other. The cat seemed fine, happy even, since he purred as an answer and raised one of his paws to my arm, it was a light and careful touch.
âCan I bring one for you?â, I asked in a soft tone of voice, and he nodded lightly. âOkay, so what about you, foxy?â
His yellowish eyes bored into mine and his body was stiff and wary on top of my thighs, yet he was still careful with his nails.
âYou can do it on your own, I don't have to do it for you and I won't touch you at all, I said, and he nodded slowly.
âOkay, can you move, so I can get up?â
They did, both jumped back to the floor, and I took the opportunity to make an appropriate dinner for the three of us while they got themselves cleaned.
I knew the cat could clean himself without it, but I wasnât sure about the fox, so I laid two towels on the floor for them and I went to the kitchen.
That was the first night. After the fifth night, the three of us developed a nice routine.
They knew they were safe and that Iâd be back after work every evening. The second night was enough of whines and cries to know that they were⊠sensitive to sudden changes. There were food for them available when they wanted it on the little bowls I bought in the that first same night, I prepared all the meals in the mornings, and they could leave anytime if they wanted to, but I wasnât sure if they ever did. The first time I came home after rescuing them, I was scared they had left for some an unknown reason. Sure, it was getting late, and the streets were unpredictable, who knows what could happen, but it was more than that. I had a soft spot for them already and if I keep up that pace, Iâd be really hard to let them go someday.
âKitty? Foxy?â
The lights of the living room were already on, but there wasnât sign of them. I took off my coat and let my shoes by the entrance while I was scanning the room. Were they upstairs sleeping again? It was almost snack time. They came downstairs yesterday when I came home, it was the official snack time.
I decided to ignore the worst possible scenario and walked into the kitchen, then I took two bowls and opened the fridge. This amount of noise shouldâve made them come downstairs already.
Itâs fine, itâs ok, maybe they went out to play outside. It wasnât fine. I let everything on the counter top and went upstairs.
âKitty? Foxy?â
I really needed to give them better names than this, but it wasnât the time to think about it now. They didnât come to me, nor I heard any noise besides my own steps and nervous heart.
I went through my room, the bed was messy as they like to lay in it when I wasnât home, that much was clear since day one. Then I went to the guest bedroom, but it was untouched. Maybe they locked themselves in the bathroom, but still nothing as I checked.
I didnât like to where the possibilities were going, but there was still a chance of them playing outside, so I went to look around the house. There was still enough sunlight, but I didnât get lucky until I heard a noise, a loud whining coming from the roof.
âKitty? Foxy? Are you up there? Did you climb to the roof?â
Anyone looking out of their windows would think I went insane. Of course, they wouldnât understand, no, not a normal cat and fox, but mine were far from it.
I was screaming in front of the house, trying to look up, but there wasnât a sign of them, none that I could see from the ground. The only answer I got was another whining, and it sounded like foxy, that was enough for me to grab a staircase that I never even used before.
It was an old one for sure, it came with the house, and now I knew why, it was so fucking heavy to carry anywhere. There was the normal staircase, then you could slide two parts up and itâd get even taller. And thatâs what I had to do, even though I didnât trust the mechanism that hold it tight was working as good as it should.
But it was for foxy and kitty, they couldâve climbed there without knowing how to get down for hours, they must be hungry by now too, so I didnât waste any more time.
As soon as I was on eye level with the roof, I froze in place.
Two men sat on my roof, side by side, curled around themselves to be seen as small as possible, not a single cloth protecting them for the cold and tails hugging each other's thighs.
âHo-â
âPlease, donât make us leaveâ, one of them interrupted me.
The voice stunt me for a second. It was so deep, rough even and low, so low and that seemed like a crime because I could barely hear it above the soft wind.
âDonât move, Iâll bring up towels and letâs get you both down, okay?â
There wasnât an answer, but I didnât wait for one. I felt my body out of my mindâs control, there werenât thoughts running through my head as I ran to get towels for them, nor when they came down and sat on my couch.
Their heads were down, soft and fluffy ears flat against it. It hasnât been more than two minutes since I found them, but they didnât look up to me once.
âIâll bring clothes for you both, one of you can go to the bathroom and the other to the guest room.â
Iâve seen their ears shot up and I couldnât contain my smile. It was exactly like their animals' counterpart.
âI knew you were hybrids, I wonât make you guys leave, it doesnât make a difference to meâ
Finally, they looked up at me. Another dĂ©jĂ vu hit me hard, but this time it felt different. They were more vulnerable than ever, and it wasnât because of the lack of clothing, no, I knew better than that. Their eyes told me what I needed to know once again.
âSo, how can I call you? I knew I had to change kitty and foxy to your real names at some pointâ
They looked at each other, speechless, both sat still with hands gripping hard on the soft cloth.
âRight, the introductions can wait, Iâll bring clothes for you both. One can wait for me in the bathroom and the other in the guest room, if you prefer it.â
They nodded and got up.
It was intriguing how their body language was the exact same, too. If it wasnât by the colors of their ears and tails, I could still say who was my kitty and who was my foxy.
Damn, I did actually call them mine, didnât I?

"No, I'm telling you, I've seen the way she looks at you", San has been bothering him all morning, because Wooyoung was feeling defeated.
Wooyoung was, at least most of the time, a cheerful person. It came naturally to him. His friends at school expected that from him. He was their happy pill they would say and he was proud of it... but it's impossible to be positive, when you are so damn dense!
"I don't know San-ie, maybe we should give up on the mission".
This is not the Wooyoung he knows, it was the only thing on San's mind at the moment. Something must had happened for him to be sulking around like this and San would figure it out as if his life depend on it.
"Listen, let me try something and after that, you can do as you want, just pick up the phone when I call, okay?", San said in such a serious and determinate tone that Wooyoung couldn't say no.
You came into his life, their lives, out of nowhere. One day, it was the three of them, San, Yeosang and Wooyoung, then the next day there was you sitting with them at lunch being bombarded with questions by Wooyoung.
San was soo confused at first, because sure, they were known as friendly people, Yeosang being the shiest and quiest, but they kept to their own group most of the time. It was rare to find someone that would fit in with them the way that you did.
Wooyoung adored you, trully, but after everything that he tried already, you still didn't have a single clue about his feelings. It made him anxious and a tiny bit insecure, maybe you just did not like him back...
"Don't!", San whispered to Wooyoung as they got into class. "I know this expression, whatever it is, it's not true.
THE 1° ATTEMPT: FAILED
He asked you out on a date. It was quite straight forward to be honest, how can he be more direct than that?
Your answer?
"Sure, where do you want to go?", there was that smile on your face that showed him you thought he meant in a friendly way.
Maybe he wasn't that straight forward then. The both of you went out together a lot for the past month already, but without a name to it. A name he desperately wanted to put on it.
"Hum, maybe that café that opened last week?", you didn't know him enough to notice his smile was forced yet, he was way to good at faking it.
THE 2° ATTEMPT: FAILED
He decided to pull out every trick he knew of. By the end of the week following his first failed plan, he clingied to you like a koala, more than he already did!
While you thought he was adorable and sweet, cuddling to you at every chance and staying by your side whenever you four were walking to class... You missed your personal space a little. You felt what it was like to be Yeosang for the first time, it wasn't a easy job to be that loved all day every day.
Still, how can you ask to that pretty face to give you some space? You could imagine it the kicked puppy face he'd make and that only already broke your heart.
"Wooyoung-ah", you said as you stood together side by side, waiting for the others to meet you at the front of the school.
He looked up from where he was. Chin on your shoulder, hands around your waist as he sway you both to a song he just came up with. His eyes shined in adoration, his smile contagious as he waited for your answer.
His skin was glowing... No, he was glowing that day for some reason. His whole demeanor screamed happiness since 7:30 A.M.
"Did something good happened today?"
It did. Someone asked him if you guys were dating. He had to go to the bathroom to regain some control over his body.
"Just you".
There he was again.
He always been quite flirty, but the past week it only increased. You didn't know what to do with yourself in this situation, you were always caught off guard and your mind came up with a million scenarios to explain this behavior. None of them left you happy though.
"You are impossible, aren't you?", you laughed it off, like you've been doing. You felt like you have to do it to protect yourself and the friend group you barely got into.
THE 5° ATTEMPT: IN PROGRESS
In San's humble opinion, Wooyoung was doing everything wrong. He was way too lost in his feelings to realize that it wasn't how direct and how obvious he could be, it was about you.
You and Wooyoung somehow were like twins, your energy matched in a way no one saw coming. You were the smart kid in class in their minds for the first half of the school year. You're quiet, but kind hearted and smart. Everyone thought the same until Wooyoung decided enough is enough.
He saw bits and pieces of your personality and being the direct man he's always been, he decided right then and there to get to know you more.
But that also meant you also weren't happy 24/7, you struggled a lot too and you could be as insecure as everyone else, even with your cheerful personality shinning through.
San could it see it looking from the outside, you're scared of falling for Wooyoung or maybe you already fell deep into it and couldn't be sure if he was serious about his attempts. He didn't know which one, but he knows he has to do something about it.
"Why don't you talk to him?", his tone wasn't judgmental and his eyes were kind as he sat by your side.
"I want to, but what if he's just being, you know, Wooyoung", you didn't need to explain it further.
San let out a snort, he couldn't help himself as he smiled.
There was a ultimate truth in this, you didn't know Wooyoung for long. You didn't see him go through the lowest up to the highest point in his life. You showed up in a high and since then, Wooyoung has been flying higher and higher because of you.
"He's not like this, you know... I'm mean, he is but he's been so much happier and energized since you came along", he said as he looked forward.
This words stayed with you for a long time, but there was still something missing. Something you wanted to see for yourself and Wooyoung didn't give it to you yet.
So you asked to meet up with him in hopes of seeing it.
"I know what you've been trying to do, you know? You're not discreet, Wooyoung-ie".
He was stunned. Was he getting rejected right now?
The bright smile in his face faded in front of you and you hated it the sight. Your instinct was to grab his hands in yours.
"I just wanted to see it for myself, Yeosang said you looked at me like Winnie the pooh looked at some honey", the smile in your lips only grew as you repeated the words.
Wooyoung was baffled, embarrassed and feeling a little betrayed, because at the end of the day he knew it was true.
"I just wanted more than words", you whispered as you saw it for yourself the effect you had on him. "But don't get me wrong, you are usually good with those".
"Usually?!"
You laughed as you intertwined your hands in his.
"Honey, you're blushing like a tomato right now", you thought he was blushing even more because of your teasing, but he wasn't.
He wouldn't ever tell you how much he loved the petname though.

âYAH YOU BITCH GIVE ME BACK MY CHIPS,â Wooyoung screeched from across the room, clambering up from the makeshift pillow fort he created for tonightâs movie marathon as he stampeded after you in a seething, determined rage. âNEVER,â you hollered back, clutching the fluorescent green packet closer to your chest as you ducked and evaded his attacks, leaping behind the kitchen island and situating it between the two of you, adrenaline pumping through your veins. âI SWEAR TO GOD Y/N, I WILL BEAT YOUR ASS IF YOU DONâT GIVE IT BACK,â he lunged forward in an attempt to grab the snacks. You twisted it out of reach, causing him narrowly miss it by a centimetre. You snickered at his pitiful effort as you turned your back to make your grand escape, already basking in your victorious thievery.
Suddenly, you felt a strong grip reef you back, forcing a gasped cry to escape your lips and causing you to collide against the kitchen bench as muscular arms imprisoned you between the counter and Wooyoungâs clothed abdomen. At your disoriented state, he seized the opportunity to snatch his snack back and, to your despite, dangled them in the air with his left hand as a winning smirk graced his face. Well shit, you grimaced, thrashing and wriggling around in a miserable attempt to escape. âNaw.. poor baby canât free herself?â Wooyoung cooed as a sadistic chuckle erupted from his throat at your pathetic endeavour.
âShut up,â you hiss as a venomous stare morphed your face, a searing rouge blooming across your neck and cheeks. Eventually, you managed to wrangle your arm free, rising on your tippy toes to reach the chip packet, only for him to raise it higher, acquiring a pleasurable delight at your humiliating suffering. âHmph,â you huffed as you crossed your arms at your inevitable defeat, a pout forming upon your lips. You had to think of a way to obtain the snacks without further embarrassing yourself. You had to think of something smart⊠something clever⊠something unexpectedâŠ
DingđĄ
A sly grin spread across your face as you gazed up at him with a sultry glance, a hint of deviance and mischief within your eyes. Wooyoung quirked an eyebrow, already suspicious of your sudden mood change. Gingerly, you delicately placed your hands across his chest, pressing yourself against his shirt as you leant upward towards his face, eyes flickering down at his lips momentarily. âW-what are you doing?â he stammered, unsure how to respond. You let out a soft giggle, reaching up to caress his face. âI donât know what you mean Woo,â you murmured sensually in his ear, leaving a peck against his lobe and peering at the lowering chip packet as he slowly began to let his guard down. This may have been one of the stupidest ideas Iâve ever had yet, you thought as he further lulled into your teasing actions. But hey, itâs working.
His right arm snaked around your waist, tightening his grip like a vice as he pressed you closer to his chest. A smirk adorned your face as you continued to trail soft kisses down along his nape and collarbone. Wooyoungâs breath hitched at a particular spot, closing his eyes and automatically tilting his head, allowing more mobility to your antics. You began to snuck and nip on that area, earning a choked gasp from his parted lips, the snack almost within reach. Câmon⊠just a little closer. âDoes it feel good?â you whispered, further maintaining your facade as you received an eager nod, the chip packet lowering further. A smirk adorned your face. Gotcha.
Instantly, you lurched forward, the packet almost within reach, when suddenly, you were spun around, your face smushing against the cool marble countertop as the snack was flung to the side. Your wrists were pinned by Wooyoungâs hand, his hips pressing against your ass and your eyes widening in surprise as you took note of the very evident boner protruding between your upper thighs. He leant down, using his free hand to brush aside your hair, his hot breath tickling the side of your neck, sending shivers down your spin. âDid you really think I wouldnât notice your stupid plan, sugar?â He let out a breathy chuckle. âSuch a needy, little slut, willing to throw herself at me to get what she wants.â
He bucked his hips, a sharp gasp escaping from you. You began to struggle against his grasp in an attempt to set yourself free when a searing crack whipped against your ass. A startled cry echoed the room as you subconsciously rubbed your legs together to ease the lapping arousal. âTut, tut, tut,â he scorned. âDonât be a brat now, youâre already in deep shit for teasing me before.â You scoffed, feeling your defiant inner whore emerging from within. âLook at you, acting so prestigious and authoritative. What happened to the whiny, submissive, breedable, little bitch that was being so obedient earlier?â
Your hair was reefed back, a stinging pain sizzling across your skull. âWatch your tongue, kitten. Unless you want to be punished right here, right now, I suggest you keep that pretty little mouth shut,â Wooyoung seethed, twisting his grip in your hair, causing you to shut your eyes at the discomfort. You gritted your teeth as you knuckled the countertop. âIâd like to see you try, sub,â you spat, snapping your eyes open as you stared directly into his, a brewing sinister lust swirling within them at your snarky comment. A dark snigger rumbled within his throat as he yanked you closer. âYou asked for it, slut,â he whispered.
You were thrusted to the ground as Wooyoung manhandled your limbs on all fours in doggy-style, tightening his hold on your hair. âNow listen here, slut,â he tugged for emphasis as he forced your legs apart, pressing his hard cock against your throbbing heat. âWe are going to use the traffic light system; green for go, yellow for slow down, red for stop. You can say these words at any time, but if I determine you are only saying them to be a brat,â he smacked your ass once again as you bit your lip at the sting. âyour punishment will be worse. Am I understood?â You gave no response, a rebellious grin gracing your lips as you took pleasure in challenging his authority.
Wooyoung poked the inside of his cheek, displeased with you disobedient behaviour. Suddenly, your pyjama pants were yanked down to your knees. His hand whipped against your ass in one swift motion. You gasped, mouth agape as tears prickled your eyes. You rocked your hips against his before he stilled your antics with another slap. âI said am I understood, kitten?â His words were venom, his grip tightening against your hair as his other dug his fingers into the side of your hip. You winced slightly as you nodded, bitting your tongue to resist the urge of snapping back. âWords please princess,â Wooyoung pulled against you hair once more. âYes. Sir,â you forced out.
A sly grin twisted across his face at the nickname, releasing your hair and brushing it to the side in an affectionate manner. âSee that wasnât so hard, was it?â He cooed, earning a sarcastic eye roll from you. âNow when I ask for your colour, youâre going to respond to me loud and clear. Am I understood?â âYes Woo,â you spoke disinterestedly, beginning to admire your nails in boredom to further rile him up. He clicked his tongue. He gave you one last chance. âNow what colour are you princess?â âWhat does it matter if youâre too much of a pussy to fuck me?â You snarled. His grip tightened against your hip. So much for being able to walk tomorrow.
Wooyoung sighed, faux disappointment smothering his face. âAnd here I thought you would be my good girl..,â his voice deepened an octave, the atmosphere becoming dark and thick with lust. Suddenly, you didnât feel as confident anymore. Your arms began to quiver, your heartbeat racing. âI guess youâll just always be a filthy,â *spank* âno-good,â *spank* âbratty whore who just wants her dirty cunt to be filled,â *spank* âused,â *spank* âand abused,â he degraded as he gave your ass a final crack, forcing a choked moan from your throat. Oh, you were in deep shit. âI bet youâre already soaking, kitten. I can smell your pungent arousal from here,â he seethed, tugging down your damp panties and taking a deep inhale of your scent. Quickly, he plunged two fingers into your wet cunt, pumping in and out at a fast pace. âWOO,â you yelped in surprise. âYouâre dripping like a fucking bitch in heat,â he spat.
âSuch a dirty, needy, little slut, acting naughty just so she can be disciplined and get her fucking cunt used and filled with my seed,â he mocked, already probing your entrance with a third finger. âYouâd like that wouldnât you? Just to be my personal fuck toy; too dumb and stupid to think of anything else other than beg for my cock and to be bred.â Your legs began to tremble as your desperate whines increased, reverberating across the room. Your inner brat was finally beginning to conform. âP-please s-sir,â you begged, âs-slow d-down.â âHmmâŠâ he pondered tauntingly, gradually increasing his pace just to spite you. You cried out, bucking your hips to synchronise with his antics as a dirty smile graced his lips. âI donât think I will,â he snickered. âFilthy whores like you are only here to be used as a set of holes; ready for anyone to slip their cock in and milk them dry.â
Your walls clamped around his fingers, his vile degrading further fuelling your humiliation and arousal, the approach of your orgasm becoming evident. âPretty thingâs gonna come?â He teasingly cooed, his thumb snaking his way to your clit, rubbing it in harsh circular motions as your pussy twitched at his rough antics. You frantically nodded, biting your bottom lip in anticipation of the euphoric feeling. âA-almost th-ere!!â you cried out. You were teetering on the edge of your peak, a dazed sheen glossing over your eyes. Just as you were teetering on the edge of tranquility, he pulled out and wiped his fingers against your reddened ass in mock disgust, taking satisfaction in your displeasure.
âWOOOO,â you whined as hot tears began to prickle the corners of your eyes. âW-whyâd you do t-that?â you sniffled, your mind beginning to fog. âPoor baby,â he taunted. âThis was your punishment, remember? Disobedient brats donât get to cum.â You hit the ground with your fists in frustration as searing streams of tears raced down your cheeks. You felt cheated. How could he be this cruel? He softly cupped your chin, catching the stray droplets as he cooed at your anger. âNaw.. sweet girlâs having a tanty because she didnât get to cum?â Faux sympathy crossed his features as he formed a fake pout, taunting you further. âS-sir,â You whimpered in desperation, your eyes glassing over at his condescending words as your mind began to cloud further.
âAre you ready to be a good girl now?â He softly asked, becoming conscious of your emerging sub space. âY-ye-yes sir, p-please. Just wa-nna make you feel good. U-use me please,â you begged, willing to do anything to relieve your aching cunt. He smiled amorously, gently caressing your damp cheek with his thumb, his demeanour flipping. âOnly because you asked so nicely,â he lightly teased, undoing the string of his pyjama pants before slowly tugging them down. His hard member sprung free, knocking against your weeping pussy and causing you to release a jolted whimper.
Carefully, he guided himself in, your mouths hanging agape at the sensation. Inch by inch, he sunk further in, resisting the urge to cum from the way your walls were squeezing him like a vice. Finally, he bottomed out inside, a breath of relief escaping both your lips. âO-oh my god,â he whined, never imagining you felt this good. He stayed still so you could adjust to his size, despite the primal yearn to rail you senseless. After a moment, he began to slowly buck his hips, your walls clamping around his dick as you felt every vein that etched his pretty length through his languid and sensual motions. Quiet moans escaped your throat as you dug your nails into your palms, your body rocking back and forth at his gentle thrusts. âF-faster,â you pleaded, sensing the quick approach of your orgasm. At your command, he began to piston his hips as the sudden sound of skin slapping echoed across the room. Your head flung back as a loud whine erupted from your throat, your back arching and your limbs quivering as he continued to pound inside of you.
âDoes my pretty feel good?â He cooed, placing gentle kisses across your bare shoulders. âY-YES SIR,â you cried, the edges of your eyes becoming a searing white as his hand snaked underneath to rub your clit. âWho does this pussy belong to?â he smacked your ass as a carnal possessiveness pooled in his lustful eyes, taking great delight at the sight of you falling apart on his hard cock. âY-YOU,â you howled. Your sopping cunt began to rapidly pulsate as you felt the oncoming arrival of your orgasm. âHold it,â he hissed, thrusting into you faster as he chased his own high, desperate to cum with you. You whined loudly, straining every muscle in your body to try and fulfil his demand. âC-canât hold it for much l-longer, sir,â you gasped as your ears began to ring and your body ached in need of release. âOkay pretty, cum for me.â
That was all you needed before a high pitched moan resonated around the room as you squirted on him, your juices seeping into your discarded clothes and swamping across the kitchen floor. Swiftly, Wooyoung pulled out, hurriedly jacking himself off before spilling his seed across the expanse of your back as the warm substance pooled against your sweaty skin. You collapsed, your body shaking from exhaustion and your mind on the verge of passing out. The room stood still, only the sounds of your heavy pants and palpitating hearts could be heard as you both slowly ebbed away from your tranquil bliss.
After he composed himself, Wooyoung clambered up, retrieving a couple of tissues and a cool bottle of water from the fridge. He sat back down, carefully dabbing away both your cum, being cautious as to not drip anymore onto the floor. He threw them aside once he was done and gently manoeuvred you onto his lap, cracking the bottle open and tilting your head upwards. You swallowed the soothing liquid in hasty gulps as he patiently waited for you to finish. âT-thanks-sâ you croaked, wincing as you spoke, your throat feeling coarse like sand paper. He let out a quiet giggle before taking a swig himself. âDo you wanna have a bath?â He queried, screwing the cap back on and setting the bottle on the counter. You frantically nodded, in desperate need for a calming, relaxing soak after the wild abuse your limbs experienced. He picked you up bridal-style, making his way to the bathroom as he affectionately pecked the bridge of your nose.
When the temperature was right, he placed you into the warm tub, joining you soon after. Grabbing a loofah, he gently scrubbed your back, his demeanour now attentive and loving. You guys basked in comfortable silence, sharing endearing pecks here and there and playfully splashing one another as you both bathed in the lulling water. Once you were done, Wooyoung carefully placed you on the counter, taking his sweet time to dry you off, a tender affection invading his presence. After you were dried, he carried you back to the abandoned pillow fort, placing you on top of his chest as you both shared a passionate kiss, taking in the sweet bliss of the pure love for one another. Gently, he pulled back as an adoring smile graced his lips. âI love you,â he whispered as he caressed your face, his eyes swirling with fondness and love. âI know,â you teased as your received a jesting eye roll in response. You leant back down to peck his lips. âI love you too.â An amorous warmth kindled within both your chests as you snuggled into one another, slipping into a peaceful sleep.
