Thanks for asking bestie! I think Beving: Ala represents Daron.

So much can be said about this song, even though it has no words. I actually think the lack of words is indicative of how Daron rarely shows emotions and is always serious. I also think the piano sounds really elegant, like Daron, and there is an underling darkness to the song, which suits Daron considering she works with dead people lol.

I love this question! I have a whole section of my style sheet dedicated to each oc’s weapons of choice.

Daron’s is her spirit dagger. It’s a dagger made spefically for her that can cut between the living world and the Spirit World and draw energy. It’s not intended for fighting, but she’ll use it if she needs to because she always keeps it on her and it’s what she’s most comfortable with.

Cassidy’s weapon is a bow and arrow. She takes archery as one of her classes and excels in it. Because she’s so good at it, she practices even when she’s not in class so she can be useful in a fight without using magic. She made her own bow an arrow that she uses.

Aria has a lot of choices. She physically the strongest and can take pretty much anyone in hand to hand combat if she doesn’t have her weapons on her. She also has a wolf familiar that is ready to chew people up. However, her favorite weapons are her throwing axes. She has three of them and enjoys the sporty aspects of it.

Catalina and Naomi aren’t really fighters, but when it comes to it, Catalina uses her magic to manipulate plants into doing what she wants and Naomi tries to learn swordsmanship.

Thanks for asking! I have to admit…I’m pretty weak. I’ve never fought anyone either, but I have no doubt I can take Naomi (at least before her training arc). She’s even weaker than me, both physically and magically, and wouldn’t want to fight in the first place. I could blow air in her direction and win.

I might be able to take Cassidy too. Her strength is her aim, but I’m not letting her have her bow. She refuses to use her powers because using them too much will kill her, so that makes us more equal. Cassidy is based off me though so who knows.

This seems like a ton of fun! I know that nobody's asked me, but I wanna answer some of these anyway lol. Today, I'll be answering these on behalf of Kunio, the main character from my upcoming romance novel, The Tengu And The Angel!

Leaves: Definitely fall for Kunio. His fashion sense can best be described as a blend of 90s punk and goblincore, and there's a lot of reds, heavy sweaters and jackets, and leaf patterns in his wardrobe. He also really likes autumnal flavours, like apples, and cinnamon, and his all-time favourite food is apple pie. On top of that, he's very fond of birds, especially crows

Cloudy Day: Bad mood? What bad mood? If something is bothering Kunio, he won't let it show at all. He'll hold it in and pretend that everything's fine because he doesn't wanna worry his friends, or his boyfriend. Even if you ask, he'll deny that anything's wrong, to the point where he won't admit it until he breaks down. It's a habit he's having a hard time breaking.

Opal: What motivates your protagonist to complete their goal?

Darius's goal shifts throughout the story as I've got it planned so far. Originally, he wants to depose his mother in order to take the throne as King and also as revenge for being removed from the succession (he's very very angry to start off with and also probably not the best person), but as he kinda integrates into the revolution that he was trying to use for his own gain he starts wanting better for the common people and starts actually believing in the revolution!

sapphire: the most upbeat scene or dialogue in your wip?

this one's actually really hard because the crown prince is so extremely a wip that i've only got like two scenes written haha! however, this snippet is the happiest darius has been so far:

I pull the shears from the drawer, feeling their chill iron weight in my hands. I cut at the air first, cracking a smile at the gentle snk sound they make, take the bulk of my hair as if for the beginnings of a ponytail in my opposite hand, and snk.

The tangled mess comes away easily in my hands and my head suddenly feels weightless. I card my fingers through the remaining hair, pulling out knots as I go, then take the brush to it. It’s uneven, of course, falling near my ears, and as the sun finishes its rise I cut the hair further down until it looks almost boyish. It’s still uneven. It’s still a mess. But for the first time in as long as I can remember, I look in the silvered mirror and don’t cringe away from it.

Labradorite: What made you fall in love with your wip? What motivates you to write it?

that one's a lot easier! i recently had a pretty big gender revelation that i'm transmasc and i really wanted to write about kind of this idea of losing your blood family and realizing that the found family is better, but from that transmasculine lens because there's not a whole lot of that out there. tl;dr, darius is absolutely a self insert and the crown prince is definitely a catharsis piece, and i'm not ashamed about it at all. it's going pretty good, too
