I see you guys have found my old Wuming comic, but its so ooold! I had to redraw it! Here’s new version 👇
So some of you may remember a while ago I hit 500 followers and took follower requests to sketch out certain scenes. Well, I didn't ACTUALLY forget!! It just took *looks at my watch* Three Months. Whoops. But oh well, here you go. I did originally have a sketch of them riding the statue as well but I just couldn't work it into the composition and I gave up on it mb.

Hong-er remembered the first time he’d seen his own reflection. He was six years old and sitting in his mother’s lap. He’d snuggled deeper into her embrace, happy to have returned to the place where it was safe and warm after a day full of confusion and fear the moment other people were around to yell mean things at him.
He felt his mother softly tug at the bandages around his head. He stiffened and grabbed at them with his little fists to keep them in place. The bandages protected him. He wasn’t allowed to pull them off.

I JUST NOTICED A PARALLEL IN TGCF
so at the end of volume 6 xie lian sees a red flower and wishes to meet wu ming again someday
And before the mount tonglu arc hua cheng explains how the kiln works with a flower pot and the red flower is used to signify the Ghost King in other words wu ming
What if Hua Cheng appeared on that cart all suave and cool, but before he could even say a single flirty thing, Xie Lian screams "WU MING YOU'RE ALIVE!?!?!"
