Witchy Weekly Challenge 9: Honouring the Natural World:

Welcome back everyone! Your resident duck has managed to return, relatively on time, with Witchy Weekly Challenge 9! This weeks theme is honouring the natural world. I hope you enjoy and as always do share your thoughts on these challenges and any ideas you have for future challenges! I love you all!

The challenge is:

Take some time to sit with your back against a tree, feel the bark against your back. Breathe deeply, visualise yourself spreading roots below the earth.

Observe your natural environment. What plants are native? Can you notice the signs of Autumn/Fall already? Observe, learn, research and incorporate this new knowledge into your craft.

Lets learn more about the hidden meanings of birds! Observe what birds you see regularly and which are rare sightings. Research their hidden meanings.

Plant shopping time! Bring some of the natural world into your space. If you're unable to, spend some time appreciating the plant life in your local area, perhaps when out on a walk!

Give back to your natural world. Feed the birds, water local plant life, leave offerings. Do what you feel is right.

Journaling time! What is a herb you use regularly in your craft? What are its general magical properties? What are the properties it has, personal to you? If you're not sure, what is a herb you would love to use more of and why?

Go on a walk. Are there any elements of nature you are drawn to? Perhaps a broken tree branch can be your new wand? However, please ensure you do so respectfully.
