I see posts with hundreds of reblogs saying the only reason we like Arya is because she's not traditionally feminine. And that she will not date or hold a position other than as a bodyguard or assassin. She's not a lady.
Why can't she be like Xena?
Xena can check off plenty of the feminine stereotypes; long hair, big breasts, lots of romances, often wears skirts & dresses, been married, gave birth, referred to as a "princess", sings, dances, sews, cooks.
But it doesn't stop her from leading armies into battle, traveling the world, going on undercover missions, or learning tracking, acrobatics, healing, foreign languages, & martial arts. Xena does not act like a man. She's a renaissance woman.

"Xena, Warrior Princess" was a show made in 1995. Although this show primarily focused on the folktales from ancient Greece, it often took on a more modern fantasy look.
The costume design aimed to capture 'modern" mid 90's fashion blended with Greek,Celt, and Viking looks.
Not too much history on this one, mostly a Fashion Design Post.

Ted Raimi did such a fantastic job playing Jace and Jett. It’s sad we didn’t get more development on them.
If you look closely, you can see Jett’s outfit is actually very elaborate. Look at the insane detail on that leather! I don’t think Ares even owned anything that hardcore.

I aspire to accomplish what Gabrielle has. She found a Greek goddess, become queen to a bunch of hot women, butched it up and out competed the God of War to win the heart of Xena and is the father of Xena's child. All in the span of 6 years.

Got to the 1st Callisto Ep. Not a fan of her and her storyline. Wondering if she will grow on me later. Not really a fan of watching the whole, 'life has done me wrong, so now I must destroy, kill and hurt every single being in my path, no matter what, no matter the time or place, I must kill them all!' type of villain. I'm basing this off of 1st impressions of course
What is the general consensus about her? Do yall love her, hate her, love to hate her Or hate to love her?
