why does nobody (men) understand the concept that women are simply more competitive than men? wta handshakes are not "cold" or "dramatic", it's simply that not every single tennis player has to be best friends. with men it's different because the players are oftentimes (not everytime) less serious during matches than women are.
it's in our blood to be competitive, especially when its literally a competition!! there's absolutely nothing wrong with not particularly wanting to be sweet and kind after a loss, and the people that said zheng's handshakes are "not friendly enough" are just looking for ways to hide their hatred for successful women by making excuses that don't make sense in any context.
it would be a different thing if zheng was outright rude during handshakes, but she simply walks away quickly! there's nothing else to it!

Awesome song by Bea Miller. These lyrics are so honest, and you can feel her raw emotion in every word she sings.  She is fed up, and she is done, and she is speaking her mind. She will not be tied down any longer.  These lyrics are an anthem of mine, especially during the Women’s March movements. We will not be silenced.  We will not be contained by anyone, man or woman.  We will not be yes girls.Â

Definitely my favorite song off Bea's new EP Chapter One: Blue. The beauty of this song is in its simplicity. Her voice is a lot more vulnerable in this song, and less stylized than the other songs on her ep. The simple piano accompaniment brings the lyrics to the forefront in a beautiful way, and showcases the notes that she fits beautifully. These lyrics are so raw and honest, and I love the emotion she gives when she delivers them.
