Another train art piece! This one turned out unusually clean!

This train ride was an eventful one! When I was drawing this, someone saw and asked me if I was from the fashion industry?? Then later I helped an elderly lady get to her bus and it happened to be the same bus I needed to take so we continued to chat for the entire 1h bus ride which was really nice. I don't think I ever got asked to explain my study in such depth. And then I had tea at a cafe (a sin, i know) where there was a meeting of elderly people speaking the FINEST german west coast dialect ✨

So, here is a WIP from the fic!! It was hard to pick because at this point I couldn’t remember what I have and haven’t already shared, but I’m fairly confident I haven’t posted this segment yet.

A recollection of an impromptu Garchomp biology lesson with Ingo emphasizes how bad his situation really is.

Ingo reached out, stretching himself as far as he could go. His hands connected with her shoulder — thank Arceus — and he shoved hard. Hard enough to knock her right off her feet.

He had to.

Akari had made it. She landed in the snow and out of the path of destruction, safe.

“Well,” Ingo readjusted his position, shifting to get a better look at Akari’s Pokédex notes. His finger moved to point at the head of one of Akari’s observational drawings of a gabite, tapping gently on the paper.

“Notice their heads, how their lower jaws are noticeably less bulky than their upper ones. While the muscles that open their jaws are surprisingly weak, their downward bite force is incredible. It’s to ensure prey cannot escape, and every muscle in their neck is fashioned to specifically assist with this, resulting in quite an impressive steel trap for a set of jaws.”

Ingo’s finger moved down to the neck of the gabite as he talked, emphasizing his words. Akari found the information to be new and interesting to her, but she didn’t quite understand the reason for the impromptu biology lesson. Not until Ingo sat back, the glow of Ember’s back illuminating his side as he turned his head to her.

“Now, the design of a garchomp’s jaws improve upon this in every way, pushing power to a one-way extreme; practically all of its lower jaw strength is sacrificed for maximum downward bite force. Nothing can force its jaws open once they clamp down, except for the garchomp’s decision to open them again. And while a well-placed blow to the snout may possibly convince them to do so, it would not convince an enraged alpha like Jörmun.”

Akari glanced up at Ingo as he continued to talk, all prior attention for the Pokédex in her hands now abandoned. The worry in his voice had completely snagged it.

“Miss Akari, I cannot imagine the force behind the bite of an alpha of the species. If we are unfortunate enough to cross tracks with Jörmun tomorrow, I cannot stress it enough; above all else, stay away from her front. Do not let her catch you between her teeth. Nothing may ever get those jaws to open once they clamp down, besides Jörmun herself. And alphas do not easily deviate from their violent, one-track minds.”

Akari was quiet. She had stopped writing. Ingo could tell she was trying to figure out how to summarize all of his advice in her notes.

If she was having trouble summarizing it, she wouldn’t remember the most important part.

“Just, above all else, do not let her catch you between her jaws.”

Rows of jagged sawteeth clamped down hard, easily perforating right through layers of clothing, puncturing straight through skin, and settling deep into fleshy layers — sturdy as a steel trap.

Ginsharin, the Silver Wheel, is an alpha Gliscor with a long reign of terror both above and under ground. Boasting a corrosive venom capable eating through flesh and stone alike, it readily raids the territories of neighbouring alphas and drags its catches — Pokémon or human — deep into the extensive network of caverns beneath Mount Coronet, never to be seen again.

PokeMas - VOLO n JACQ !?

Volo n Jacq is confirmed to be arriving on Pasio at the end of this month! 🔥

Why's nobody talking about Volo's Japanese VA for him?? His voice is sooo suitable for him!

... and there's good ol' Jacq, his Japanese VA also suits him, such a young man's voice.

Little explanation of these sync pairs down below:

Volo paired with Togepi which is a Fairy Field unit with EX role of Tech. Togepi can sets up Fairy Zone n Sinnoh Circle. Volo also available in Lodge if you get him and you get Volo+Gible by Maxed out his friendship. 👌

Jacq's paired with Farigiraf, a Psychic Tech unit with EX role of Support. He can buff himself quickly and his kit is quite unique, imo.

Btw, their banner lasts for around 2 weeks, if I 'm not wrong... and both of their banners are Pokefair, which is quite a bummer, imo. I wish Jacq was a Spotlight unit, since the Paldea Theme Skill is now available...

I hope those who are scouting for them can get them early~ ✌🏻

Pokémon Unite - Verrry odd Comfey

Tbh... I get quite annoyed when a COMFEY is either on our team or an opponent team. Comfey in P.Unite is a supporter role Pokémon whose mechanics are clinging to a Pokémon on their team and provide support, either healing or crowd control (CC).

Take note that Comfey CANNOT use their basic attacks WHEN Attached to the ally and also can ONLY use the moveset of it. Comfey is quite useless if not clinging to the other Pokémon, imo.

Ranting down below...

There's a match where I played as a support Pikachu (with slick spoon, curse incense and exp share), and I headed to the top path.

I am not trolling, here's the functions;

slick spoon = lower sp def of the opponents for a short while

curse incense = decrease the amount of healing of the opponents for a short while

exp share = level up nearby teammates, especially the lane partner, quickly (idk y some players run away from me when I LITERALLY HAD AN EXP SHARE ON TO HELP THEM EVOLVE FASTER 😓 )

For some odd reason, a supporter in our team, which is a COMFEY and ALSO had an exp share on it, kept on attaching to me-- like-- as if for eternity. 😨

I was like--

"Please, for the love of Arceus... Go cling to a carry mons rather than I, the support Pikachu, that ALSO had exp share. That exp share can be more beneficial if you go to the bottom path and help other teammates down there."

Is the player trolling? Idk... however, that comfey player kept spamming "keep the pressure on". Might be grieving though.

Luckily we won, and oddly enough I got MVP in that match. 😅
