I drew this I think roughly a year ago.
This depicts 3 of my favorite Pokémon from every region at the time.
Obviously, my drawing style and opinions have changed so I'm thinking about remaking it soon.
Hi, here is my human Gliscor! The first pic is my most recent and the last one is the very first one. I am super proud of both, but especially the first one because it is super good for a first attempt.

Edit: I just realized that in the first picture, I have a unibrow. I am so sorry.
Gliscors are funny.
On the one hand:
They drain their victims of all their blood, taking pride in doing so. They could kill anyone with relative ease. There have even been rare cases of humans being attacked in this manner. They are swift and deadly to their prey, and areas where they're common often are littered with Pokemon drained of their blood, waiting to be preyed on by scavenger Pokemon.
On the other hand:
They're such silly guys
Like, they are so weirdly playful and have huge personalities. I almost considered being a flying type gym leader just to have one of these guys, a crobat, and Camonte (my Honchkrow) all on the team...but the flying type gym is highly coveted and has a TON of applicants specifically seeking that position, so applying for it would have lowered my chances of being chosen.

I tried to embody the raw energy most of the pictures with my dad have. the off centeredness. the same pose every time. that half smile my dad has. why are we always standing in the same spot in our yard. we’re not even centered in front of the tree.

The Real Problem with multi-target attacks
Link: (Pointing towards two Manectric) "Alright, use Earthquake, Strong Style!
Gliscor: (Screeching his agreement.)
(Gliscor's pincers begin to shine with copper light. He screeches again, and the pincers are now surrounded by a burning orange aura almost too bright to look at. Roaring, Gliscor brings his pincers down to the earth, sending HUGE tremors everywhere. The two Manectric, once eager for combat, try to flee, only to be caught up in the shockwaves.)
Gliscor:(breathing heavily) Gli Gli!! (Turns around but Link is gone)
Gliscor: Gli? Scor? Scor?! (Flies away)
If Gliscor had looked a bit harder, he would've noticed the hand sticking out of the rubble. as it were, however, Link would never use a Multi-target attack for the rest of his life.

This was actually the second form I worked on but I decided once I was done that I wanted to get Eelektross' out first, even though I hadn't even started on it then.
Based on how some scorpions glow under black light. Looks a lot like the shiny.
I had to add filters over everything but the eyes because it was minecraft diamond teal and It hurt my eyes. It's still pretty close, but nowhere near as obnoxious as before.
DxP REWRITE - Ingo
The main reason for this comic himself lol. In the past 2 years, Ingo has had bits of his old personality come back as his subconscious makes more sense of what little of his memories he had left, particularly his volume & posture.
Like Emmet, I could’ve just gave him his in-game Hisuian team, & it is almost one-for-one, except for the free Shiny Ponyta you get near the beginning of the game - I had the thought that he was “lured” to its purple flames as a Rapidash for some reason…so Mizumi gave it to him between the end of PLA & the start of DxP REWRITE.
🔼 After some thinking (mostly thanks to this Sword / Shield Submas run I’m playing), I decided Emmet & Ingo do nickname their Pokémon after rail terms after all lol. Apart from the more obvious names, Olton is for the 5972 Olton Hall, the train they used for the Hogwarts Express, & Victoria, named for a type of horse-drawn carriage that refers to the time before the “iron-horse” ran the rails.

DxP REWRITE - Fully Informed
Over the 2 years since Legends Arceus, people have learned to live with Pokémon more comfortably, & vice versa. There hasn’t been a whole lot of reconstruction here in Jubilife Village yet, as I imagined they put more of their energy into developing the villages at the survey camps around Hisui (which will eventually become the towns & cities around Sinnoh - there’s an NPC at one of the camps who says they were thinking of putting a village there). But they may be doing some building up, as more people come by Prelude Beach. 🍃
You can probably guess who taught Mizumi that habit of hiding her expression under her cap (hint: he’s in the last panel lol). As for what her reasons are for staying, that’s a story for another time.

DxP REWRITE - Training Grounds
This might be the first Pokémon battle I’ve ever done in multi-panel form. I actually had to redraw it a little last minute because I forgot Stone Edge is an attack from below, not above lol
I was talking with the mister how it’s odd that Rock moves tend to have iffy accuracy, which he reasoned is balanced out by their high power. Doesn’t help, though, when they’re facing an agile opponent like Glaceon (would‘ve been more evasive if weather moves & abilities existed in Hisui’s time - good luck trying to hit a Snow Cloak Glaceon 🌨️❄️)
While he still doesn’t have most of his memories (he has a vague picture of where he came from at this point, no names or places yet), I’d like to think parts of Ingo’s old personality started to come back, namely his volume. I always thought it sweet, though, how he drops his arms (because they must be tired holding them up in that pose lol), & smiles at us when we win. ^_^

Ginsharin, the Silver Wheel, is an alpha Gliscor with a long reign of terror both above and under ground. Boasting a corrosive venom capable eating through flesh and stone alike, it readily raids the territories of neighbouring alphas and drags its catches — Pokémon or human — deep into the extensive network of caverns beneath Mount Coronet, never to be seen again.
Day 6 of drawing the boi I decided to add gliscor to the picture both of them are looking so cute.
