Great Blue Heron on the Dock @achillbreezeandbreakingwaves
This bird hung out for quite a while during my shoot, so I got a few different shots of them! I’ll post another one later this week.

Sideblogs, new and not-so-new.
Hey followers,
Since I haven’t posted about it, yo’re probably not aware that I have some sideblogs. Multiple sideblogs even!
The first sideblog, Of Earth and Starry Sky, is my blog for other people’s art. This one has a huge backlog (~4 months) and a queue that is primarily filled with all varieties of visual art. So if you want a little bit moe art on your dash every evening, check it out?
My second sideblog is a side-project I’m starting, called Tales That Don’t Exist. To describe this blog, I think it’s just best to reproduce it’s own description:
Art from other worlds: Movie stills from un-made films. News stories of unreleased movies, books, and musicians. Concept art from nonexistent graphic novels...Snippets of stories that have don't have a place to call home.
(All entries are imaginary microfictions, and any similarities to real works of art are as coincidental as possible)
Tales That Don’t Exist is going to be a blend of (original) microfiction prose and visual art (you can see an example which I reblogged below this piece). If you like my art here, I suggest checking it out as well.
Have a good day!

Bubblegum Skies by @achillbreezeandbreakingwaves
Fun Fact: My blog name/url was originally chosen because I wanted to have a aesthetic theme that was pretty similar to this, partially inspired by chillwave/synthpop music in the vein of Mark Redito’s work, Turns out my style naturally lends itself to vaguely-gothic-yet-hypersaturated-and-surrealist digital art, interspersed with some more naturalistic photography. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Still not changing my name though.

Winter’s Ghost by @achillbreezeandbreakingwaves
I personally would prefer not having any more snow for the season, though nature has other plans. But hey, I have a few other photos from today that I’ll be uploading over the next couple weeks!

O Merciful Seed by @achillbreezeandbreakingwaves
The original photograph is public domain, and came from the New York Public Library. The model is Loie Fuller, a famous actress, dancer and inventor from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The trees in the background are from my personal photo collection.
