1.) What is your happiest memory?

When Nathaniel told me that he loved me. I mean, yeah, I was sick as hell, and I could barely stand up, but in that moment, it didn’t matter because for the first time in years, I knew that someone loved me. My precious angel loved me ❤️

2.) What do you wish to achieve?

I wanna make Akatsuki Workshop (My online shop) an in-person shop, and I also wanna learn to drive. Then, maybe in a few years, when Nathaniel and I are married, I want us to move into a house out in the country, near the mountains. Nathaniel likes the idea of moving into an old Victorian house, and I like the idea of being able to go hiking whenever I feel like it. I’ve always wanted to get into hiking…

3.) How far will you go to reach your goals? I won’t have to try hard. Almost all of them have already been reached, I just need to go a little further to reach the remaining ones

On the ship, of course. Perhaps sailing and exploring a bit in the Caribbean Isles….Barbados has the best rum, y’know. Aye, the sun on my back, my arm around Benji’s shoulder, a bottle of rum in the other hand, watching the sun bow beneath the waves. Dancing in the moonlight with the mates, and sharing another dance in private with Benjamin even later. ‘Tis the life.

2. What relevant skills do you have for the task/profession you are in?

Are you looking to hire me? I regret to disappoint, but I’m not available on the market. You could say I’m my own boss, aye? As for skills…rigging, steering, maintenance….‘bout anything a ship needs, really.

Ah. Well….one time off a port in Bermuda, I tried my luck in pickpocketing the barkeep.

Thanks for the tag! Here we go! I’m currently working on Night Of The Blue Moon, which is the first in a two-book series about adult magical girls who fight with powers given to them by the Greek titans. It’s an urban fantasy romance which will deal with some pretty heavy topics, such as police and political corruption, as well as sexual assault and workplace abuse. I like to think of it as a gay adult Miraculous Ladybug x Percy Jackson crossover (Both main characters are women, and they’re in love but don’t know it. They’re oblivious to each other’s secret identities, which leads to some love square shenanigans…). Anyway, Night Of The Blue Moon will be the first book in the series, and the main villain will be Orpheus, who is killing people and harvesting their souls in an attempt to buy his son back from the dead. The second book’s main villain will be Eunomia Morrigan, a nurse who is using Thanatos’s powers to kill the patients she doesn’t want to treat. I don’t have a title for the second book yet, but it will likely come out after I’ve published Blood On A Yellow Rose, a standalone work unrelated to Night Of The Blue Moon. Blood On A Yellow Rose is going to be about an aromantic vampire doctor who befriends an also aromantic terminally ill human patient who is dying alone due to their friends abandoning them.

can you tell me a little about Myrna O’Shaughnessy

And the yellow rose?

Thanks for the asks! Myrna O’Shaughnessy is Solana’s roommate, and a former Vtuber who was fired from VSweeties, the Vtuber agency that Solana currently works for under the name, Akai Starlight. VSweeties is owned by Viceroy Steadman/Orpheus, and he is known for sexually and emotionally exploiting the Vtubers who work for him, but Solana cannot afford to quit the agency as she has no other income. Myrna is currently helping Solana make it as an indie Vtuber, Kirameki Sunstone, so that she’ll be able to quit VSweeties.

As for Blood On A Yellow Rose, the title is in reference to the fact that the MC (Who I don’t have a name for yet) is a vampire, and yellow roses represent friendship and joy. The MC is a doctor who steals blood packs from the hospital she works at to feed herself with. She got turned in the 80s and isn’t very up to date with the modern world, and she is very much in denial about the fact that she’s aromantic. It’s not until she meets the terminally ill secondary MC that she comes to terms with her identity.

I don't think many people realize how much they've been turned into a bunch of casually cynical jerks.

Someone may come to their parents and say "I want to write a book" and their parents will say "it's really hard to get published".

Someone might confide in their sibling and say "I want to sell my art on "x" platform" and that sibling will say "do you know how many people you'd be competing with? Do you know how many shops are even on that platform?"

I know a kid who once told his best friend "I think I wanna start a dnd podcast" and the friend was like "do you know what the word "oversaturation" means?"

Personally, I don't know why any of that matters? And even if it did, perhaps your response should be "Do it! Do it and see where it goes!"
