You know, if I’d thrown syrupy pancakes at her, my mom wouldn’t have thought it was funny at all.

My mom wouldn’t have been thrilled either.  I guess sims really are different than humans. 

Monday Morning, 8:10 am

Checo:  So, what are you going to do with Tessa gone all day, my love? 

Lisa:  I really don’t know...

Checo:  You know you’re welcome to join me at the furniture store.  I can always use your help, and your company.

Lisa:  *smiles*  I know.  But you don’t really need me there.

Checo:  I always need you.

Lisa:  You know what I mean, Checo.  I know I’m going to want to get out of this house, but working at the store with you just isn’t for me.  

Checo:  You could go back to work at the hospital.  You only gave it up because of Tess.  Now would be the perfect time for you to go back.

Lisa:  I don’t know...You really think I could just go back?

Checo:  There’s no harm in trying. 

Lisa: All right.  I’ll take a look on their website and see if there are any positions open. 

Checo:  I’m sure there will be, and you’ll get it.

Lisa:  I didn’t see any positions at the hospital, but I sent an email to the head of nursing.  She was there when I was, so I bet she remembers me.  I said that I was looking to come back to work and that I was hoping there’d be a spot for me there. 

Checo:  I’m sure she’ll find somewhere for you.  Maybe she could recommend you to another place nearby, if there isn’t anything here in town. 

Lisa:  *nods* That’s what I thought.  

Checo: *looks at his watch*  I’d better get into the shop. You’ll call me if anything happens?

Lisa:  Absolutely.  

Checo:  I’ll see you around 5, then.

Lisa:  Have a good day, love.
