It’s pretty funny because this song came on when you guys were making out. (Sets the mood am I right.) You both were in the comfort of his room and he decided to play some random playlist and this song just so happened to be the first one. You both smiled into the kiss because the song really did suit your situation. His hands caressed your sides gently as he got lost in the way your lips moved against his. Your hands entangled in his hair trying to bring him impossibly closer. Playful nibbles on your lips have you both laughing, and nothing but wholesome and loving kisses. So now whenever you hear the song you can’t help but think of your lover. It’s honestly an inside joke, whenever the both of you hear it you send it to one another. “Our makeout song” he’d label it as, making you crack a smile.

SOME — STEVE LACY [P. jay]

Jay would do anything to impress you, to prove to you that because of his swag, (and ofc other attributes), he was the one for you. All though he gives off such cool and serious vibes, he’s a lover boy at heart. So he’d do anything to win your heart over. Whether that be unintentionally embarrassing himself in front of you while trying to court you. He beats himself up about it but swoons when your beautiful laugh meets his ears. Now maybe he didn’t get you to smile or laugh the way he wanted but you still did nevertheless. It doesn’t help that whenever he tries to talk to you he’s stumbling over his words, or his throat starts to feel so dry. “I-I was just wondering if you—uh wanted to hang out sometime? We could get food and like walk around.” His eyes are on everything but you yet your full attention is on him, smiling so prettily at him. “I’d love to.” He didn’t have to try so hard because you already felt the same way. That didn’t mean you didn’t like to see the effort though.

SPACE SONG — BEACH HOUSE [P. sunghoon]

Your first date with Sunghoon was a night you’d cherish with you always. Your feelings for each other were overflowing, however, both of you were so good at hiding it. He was walking you home, after a long day in the city. Night approached and even though it was quiet amongst you both, it wasn’t awkward, it was comfortable. The both of you sneaked glances at each other when the other wasn’t looking. Feeling bold enough, you grasped Sunghoon’s hand in yours. He blinked at you, a blush adorning his cheeks. He looked away, a small smile gracing his features. Instead of holding it, he interlaces your fingers with his, holding on tight. You smile at the ground and Sunghoon’s heart swoons at how cute you look. You sway your hands a bit, moving closer to him you rest your head on his arm. He honestly feels like he’s gonna combust. His heart is beating so fast, his cheeks are definitely red, and it’s all because of you.

STARGAZING — THE NEIGHBORHOOD [S. jake]

Late-night drives with Jake were both something you guys loved the most. Whether that be at midnight, or late in the morning. Usually, these drives were always impulsive. Neither of you being able to sleep, you rush to a convenience store for snacks. The both of you sing the lyrics loudly as you drive through the city. The buildings illuminated made everything so much better. Rolling down your window just to glance at all of them. Jake is always mesmerized by how pretty you look, your hair blowing from the wind. Always at the end of your late-night drives, he takes you to your guy's designated spot, on a hill. Perfect for stargazing and watching the sunrise. Your head is on his chest, his heartbeat keeping you at bay. Seeing the sunrise peak, he holds you closer to him, pecking your head, muttering those three words. He wishes for you both to continue this small tradition of yours.

I ONLY WANT TO BE WITH YOU — TOMMY FEBURARY6 [K. sunoo]

You were over at Sunoo’s dorm, he was supposed to be cleaning yet that was long forgotten. You knew he had been stressing a bit, his mood a little sour. You had turned on his speaker, playing this song. He gave you a confused look yet you just smiled at him. Picking up a brush of his, you jump on his bed, starting to sing along. (quite terribly) You knew you were making a fool of yourself but Sunoo was smiling. He stands there admiring you, smiling at you so brightly. That’s until you rush to him, grabbing his hands you drag him to dance with you. “Come on! Dance with me!” You exclaim. At first he’s just standing there until you’re nudging him and he lets loose. He jumps with you, the both of you singing the lyrics loudly. He’s laughing and smiling now and you knew that even if it’s just for a bit, he’s forgotten all about what he was stressing about. When the song ends you both are breathing heavy yet he kisses you. “Thank you.” He smiles at you, kissing you again.

LOVERS ROCK — TV GIRL [Y. jungwon]

Jungwon doesn’t remember just how long he’s liked you. The both of you were friends for so long, he didn’t know when his feelings changed but they did. Many of his friends told him that you were definitely into him but he never looked into it. He couldn’t get over the fact that you probably just saw him as a brother. That’s until one day both of you are listening to music in his room. He’s on his phone and you’re reading, humming along to the song. The both of you are seated on the floor, legs splayed out, yet yours are on top of his. It was around evening so the sun was barely setting. You avert your attention from your book to him, going to say something but you stop yourself. Staring at him, the sun hits him and he looks like he’s glowing. “What?” He questions and your heart beats faster. He’s confused but he catches you glancing at his lips and he tenses up, growing nervous. Neither of you knew who leaned in first but your lips meet in the middle, a small awaited kiss. When you both pull away your guy's eyes are lidded. “Is this okay?” He whispers and you nod, pulling him in for another kiss. “This is more than okay.” You smile in the kiss.

SOMETHING ABOUT YOU — EYE DRESS & DENT MAY [N. riki]

“Ah! I’m sorry! I didn’t see where I was going.” You shriek, shooting to the floor to pick up your things. Niki is shocked yet he helps you as well. “Thank you.” You mumble when he hands you your stuff. His eyes are wide his eyes fixated on your face. Now Niki knew he was young and he didn’t know about love, he surely didn’t know about love at first sight. Yet when your eyes meet his he swore he fell in love. It’s like his breath was stolen and he was left to stare at you in awe. “Thank you again.” You bow, quickly leaving the scene. After that, it’s like he sees you everywhere. Turns out he has you for some classes and whenever you see him you blush but smile, sending him a small wave. It takes him a while to start talking to you, and he can’t find it in his heart to tease you. Mostly just because he chokes up on his words himself whenever he sees you. Or solely because you make his insides mush and he just wants to melt. He enjoys every second he spends with you and pouts like a baby when you have to leave. Niki doesn’t know anything about love but when looks at you, when he’s with you. He likes to believe that this is what love is.

It was your twentieth birthday and your guardian angel still hadn’t appeared. All of your friends had been paired with theirs between ages fourteen and sixteen, just when having the support of another being would be a comfort to typically angst-ridden teens. You, however, had been forced to muddle through your teenage years without any help, and, now that you were an adult, you weren’t sure if you’d even get a guardian angel. You really could’ve used one, too. There were plenty of times when an angel’s power of suggestion, illusion, creation, or destruction would have been just what you needed. But, you’d always managed to save yourself, whether from your own thoughts or from the assholes down the street. As an adult, it was your responsibility to deal with your own problems, so what good would a guardian angel be now? Well, besides keeping you safe from large-scale disasters and such, and maybe tipping the scales in favor of certain lovers. Yes, it would’ve been nice to have one, but you’d just make do without a supernatural being at your side.
