Does anyone else ever think about Garak cold-blooded-reptile-lizard-man-thing and Bashir warm-blooded-human-who-runs-like-a-fucking-furnace cuddling together at night. Cause I do. A lot.

I have no idea whatsoever if Vulcans would be able to actually smell pheromones, I just like the idea that some human crew members decide to see if those pheromone perfume things really work and so they put some on and obviously canât smell anything so itâs a disappointment, but they still decide to leave it on for the day. Flash cut to the Vulcan crew members on board freaking the fuck out thinking theyâre going into an early and unexpected Pon Farr because they want to absolutely devour every human that passes by them.
I wrote a post like this before (here) but forgot to post the little mini-fic I wrote between the two based off this exact idea of Michael teaching Adam enochian, so here ya go:
They had been at this for hours.
Well, maybe not hours.
Truthfully Adam had lost track of time ever since Michael had started trying to teach him Enochian at breakfast this morning. Adam had been good at learning the letters and how to write them and all that, it was just the pronunciations he was struggling with.
âGon Untal Ungaluntalâ Michael states confidently.
âGone Un-Tall Un-Gala-Tall?â Adam repeats less confidently.
Adam already knows that he got it wrong purely based on the look on Michaelâs face, a look thatâs very understanding even though Adam is flat-out butchering Michaelâs native language.
The archangel can be surprisingly patient when the one he has to be patient for is his human. If it were anyone else, Adam has a sneaking suspicion that Michael would have thrown them out of a window already.
After repeating phrase after phrase and syllable after syllable all day, as well as learning the entire enochian alphabet multiple times, Adam finally feels at least the slightest confidence in his know of the angelic language.
As a final test, Michael slides a piece of paper with enochian written on it in what seems to be a sentence. Adam looks down and read over the page twice in his head before attempting to say it out loud.
âMed Talgonvehnaunâgraphur Naungisgna Orungongisgna Ormeddon Gon Untal Gonmedvandon Famvanmeddongalâ Adam said slowly and tentatively, making his way through each syllable trying to curl his tongue to the right words, all the while waiting for Michael to tell him that heâs messed up again.
âThatâs right.â Michael looks into Adamâs eyes.
âWhat?â Adamâs eyes copy the action.
âYour pronunciation, itâs correctâ a small smile appears on his face watching Adamâs eyes light up with joy.
âSeriously!? I spoke proper Enochian!â
âThe closest a human can get to it, yes.â The archangel says.
Which - in Michael terms - means that he said it near perfectly.
Adam has no idea what he just said, but all he knows is that Michael is looking at him so lovingly and asks Adam to repeat the sentence over and over again until he shuts Adam up with a frankly lustful kiss, and thatâs enough for him to know.
Roughly (Very roughly) translated Enochian:
Gon Untal Ungaluntal - I Am Adam
Med Talgonvehnaunâgraphur Naungisgna Orungongisgna Ormeddon Gon Untal Gonmedvandon Famvanmeddongal - O Michael Hath Faith For I Am Your Sword
My favorite midam HC is that they learn each other's human and angelic costums like Micheal teaches Adam enochian, how angels act, how they greet eachother, ect. And Adam teaches him how humans act, and interact, and show emotion
Little thoughts :3
Weird thought but has anyone ever thought that Herbert West might relate a lot to Mrs Lovett from Sweeney Todd?
I mean I'm just re-listening to the musical soundtrack and specifically the 'Final Scene' song and just the whole beginning of her part of the song is her trying to gaslight Sweeney and manipulate him like Herbert does to Dan and then it just devolves into jealousy over the dead wife/girlfriend when Sweeney continues morning over the woman he first loved (Basically exactly what happened with Dan) And I mean Mrs Lovett's lines are literally:
Yes, I lied 'cos I loved you!
I'd be twice the wife she was!
I love you!
Could that thing have cared for you like me?
and if that's not Herbert's energy by Bride of Re-animator then idk what is.
I think that if Picard ever accidentally fell asleep on Q, like just the slightest little head rest on Q's shoulder, Q would be so surprised but absolutely positively delighted!
He'd wait a few seconds to make sure Picard's actually asleep, listen to him breathing quietly, and then just- pick him up and place him fully on his lap. Like if a pet falls asleep next to you you'd pick it up and place it on your lap to cuddle it more. Q doesn't do anything else, even if he gets bored he lets Picard sleep. He just keeps his arms around the captain's waist and holds him happy to have his fun.
Of course when Picard wakes up he either (1) wakes up alone and with his favourite hot tea by his side bc Q vanished and didn't want Jean Luc to get all harumph harumph >:( about being in Q's lap or (2) Picard wakes up and does in fact get all angry after he realizes he's sitting in Q's lap which Q doesn't help by teasing him non-stop making the captain flush just a little bit.
I have my own personal headcanon that in the star trek universe Human musicals are EXTREMELY popular amongst the stars and across all galaxy's. Cause sure, other aliens have singing and dancing and music of all sorts but everyone quickly agrees that there is nothing like a human musical. It baffles a few Ferengi's ears when hoo-mans sing in such a high frequency for such a long time that shouldn't even be possible with their lung size! Vulcan's can appreciate the synchrony of their dancing and consider it a very pleasing experience (Their incredibly impressed by it and it becomes a frequent topic of conversation). Cardassian's admire the way the characters sing/talk to the audience and reveal what their feeling but not to the other characters, it's fun to watch secrets unfold or explode to someone's face as chaotic antics happen all around them (Their favorites tend to be Stephan Sondheim musicals). Surprisingly, even Klingons aren't immune to the talent of human musical theatre, on any given night you'll see a large group of Klingons sitting around a table ready for an opera show and tales from soprano's receiving numerous thanks and glory be's! from burly Klingons after a show.
