Genshin College AU: Part 3

Author's Note: This is my depiction on what I think Genshin characters would be like in present day college.

⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄

🐶 Gorou:

Genshin College AU: Part 3

The bubbly freshman is always looking for a way to improve himself. With the help of Beidou and Itto, he works hard on coming up with new strategies for his next game. In his downtime, you can spot him in the outdoor classroom with his bow in hand. Sometimes, He’ll have a friendly competition with his fellow archer, Yoimiya. No matter if he wins or not, he is happy to hang out with someone with the same interest.

From time to time, Gorou will get roped into tactic planning with Kokomi as she comes up with a new speech for her fellow orchestration team. He doesn’t mind it though; he likes to see what is coming up for the school and how he can help. During the afternoons, Kazuha will usually bring him some tea after basketball practice and they’ll chat at the picnic tables outside. On rare occasions, Junior Ayaka will join them, bringing along a bag of lemon cookies that Thoma helped her make.

As friendly as Gorou is with everyone, he can also get very flustered when put on the spot. One time, when helping the Poet’s Society collaborate with the drama club, one of the monolouger’s got sick. As a volunteer from the book team, Yae Miko recommended the role to Gorou. As much as he wanted to say no, Venti’s constant begging got him to cave. As soon as the spotlight landed on him on the dimmed out stage, he passed out right on the spot. After an hour of him remaining unconscious, the directors collectively decided to take the monologue out of the final performance.

Gorou is one of those friends that is easy to hang out with. No matter if it's shopping for a whole day or staying indoors eating packaged ramen, he's just content with being with you. If you ever need assistance on something, he'll try his best to help!

❄️ Kaeya:

Genshin College AU: Part 3

Kaeya is one of those students everyone wants to be friends with. As one of the main influencers in the school, and as the captain of the tennis team, the senior male prioritizes his time on the younger levels. He feels it’s his responsibility to motivate and push the efforts of those below him, as if it was his final stance for the university. Much to the dismay of senior Diluc, many of the freshmen look up to his eccentric brother. On the off chance that he is not involved with the gym, Kaeya uses his smarts when called to the strategy planning meetings put on by Jean.

Although he was selected as one of the leading officers on tactic blueprints for upcoming programs, he tends to procrastinate and mess around with Childe and Ayato. Kaeya is clever, fortunately, and knows his way around stressful situations he puts himself in. Bennett likes to mention often that Kaeya helps him with this problem too. Sadly, Kaeya doesn’t really use his witty nature when he really needs to, especially when it comes to being Albedo’s guinea pig.

“What’s the worst that can happen? I get sick?” He jokes when someone voices their concern about the upcoming biochemist, “If that does happen, I’ll use it to my advantage.”

As affable as Kaeya is, you can understand why many are confused when he brings up the asocial Rosaria into conversation. Most nights, they can be spotted hitting the town to grab a few drinks with some buddies. Honestly, maybe it’s not that surprising as you get to know them a little more…

Many students don’t question Kaeya’s words considering his great relationships with some of the council members. The senior uses the gullibility of the undergraduates in his favor, using that sultry voice of his to get what he wants. Kaeya is manipulative with his following, but it’s all light fun! It’s not like he would use the special born gift to be malicious, unless you’ve wronged him in any way… The only person who can catch on to Keaya’s lies is Albedo, but it’s not like he’ll do anything on the matter.

If you're looking for a good time, Kaeya is a good candidate! He knows many cool hang out areas that can distract you from the stresses of life. Hopefully you don’t mind him tagging along, he gets rather bored by himself.

⚖️ Keqing:

Genshin College AU: Part 3

Keqing is the justice junior, making sure that everyone has equal chances when it comes to curriculum. She’s always on the move, whether it be traveling with the volleyball team or getting prepared for the next discussion put on by the debate team. It’s not surprising that the youthful girl went into civil law; she’s always finding ways to block up any wrongdoings that are going on around the school, even if one of the other student council members already looked into the situation multiple times.

You can find Keqing hanging out with Ganyu in the auditorium during the morning hours. She calls it a study session, but anyone can tell that’s the only time she has to spend with her close friend. As one of the board members sponsored by the school, she normally has to sit with the student council. During those times, she finds herself chit-chatting with Nigguang or Jean as the band blasts their introduction for the pep rally.

As caring as Keqing is for the student body, she can get a bit carried away when it comes to her duties. Once, when investigating a matter where someone was taking props from the theater closet for their own interest, she found Itto’s posse goofing around in the enclosed area. Though it wasn’t a huge matter, up to that point Keqing had a hard time finding the perpetrators. In her frustration, she took a few handcuffs featured in one of the performance bins and barred them to the shelving that was screwed to the cemented floor. She left them there until a teacher could officially reprimand them.

Whenever there is a problem, Keqing is one the best people to go to. Though she can’t deal with everything personally, she’ll do what she can before handing the situation to someone trusting, like Yelan or Yanfei.

Genshin College Au: Part 2

Genshin College Au: Part 2

Author's Note: This is my depiction on what I think Genshin characters would be like in present day college.

⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄⑄

❄️Eula:

Genshin College Au: Part 2

For a senior, Eula tends to mind her own unless someone ticks her off. She’s not mean per say, but her attitude about things tends to keep other students away. For instance, the one time a freshman took the last muffin from the cafeteria, Eula made it her mission to track them down and declare vengeance on them. It was a good thing Amber was there to calm the  situation; the tears that began to stream down the freshman’s face would not have been a good look on the director of the dance club.

Despite her odd reputation with the student body, she has many friends within the counsel. Whenever a report is made on her for misconduct, it is usually Yae Miko that handles it. Despite only talking a few times, the mischievous Miko took it upon herself to look after the odd-ball Eula. You can find her most mornings having coffee with Jean and Rosaria. With her physical background, you can be sure she has met her fair share of athletes. Whenever her status forces her to the gym, she finds herself sticking to the lead tennis player, Kaeya.

If you ever get the chance to become close to Eula, you can be sure that she will look after you, even without you knowing. She may have a tough exterior, but she does truly care for the people who give her a chance.

🍺 Beidou:

Genshin College Au: Part 2

Beidou is the captain of the basketball team. Her life is on the court, and she practices non-stop to perfect her craft. Her teammate, Gorou, has taken it upon himself to help her as much as he can. Despite her being okay with being by herself, she gave up on trying to tell the freshman that he didn’t have to worry about it. Beidou has great skills when it comes to what she does, however; when a particular team pushes her buttons a little too much for being a girl, she will make sure they leave the court with red faces by the end of it.

In the off seasons, she helps Yun Jin with props on upcoming performances and visits Kazuha in the Poet’s Society when she can. Many a time, you can spot her in the home ec room with Thoma as he teaches her a new recipe he came up with. Ironically, she has a thing for Nigguang in the student council. As carefree as she is, she settles down when Nigguang wants to share a new business idea with her. Though both of them are guarded in their own right, they both seem to soften in each other's presence.

In all, Beidou is a great pal to have when you need motivation. She will push you hard and praise you when you finally accomplish your goals.

💃 Yun Jin:

Genshin College Au: Part 2

Yun Jin has a lot going for herself, and she’s only a sophomore! Majoring in theatrical arts, She uses her time to fill her passion. She is the assistant director for the drama club, and is usually the one promoting performances and gaining traction for the club. She is also one of the lead singers in the school’s choir. Despite her rising popularity, she’s very modest with herself and tends to remark very often, “Looking back on my youth, I was terribly arrogant and captious… my goodness. I shall never let myself become vain again.”

Yun Jin is great friends with the dance class, and likes to partake in some of the classes from time to time. With her kind-natured spirit, she became very close with the dancers Shenhe and Eula. From time to time, they’ll allow her to bring her troupe in to observe and get inspired. Yun Jin loves constructive criticism, and will ask on many occasions how to perfect her craft. She will usually go to her senior, Zhongli, to ask questions and receive feedback. Though she hardly needs any at all, Zhongli is more than happy to put his take on it. In the small free time that she has, she likes to spend time with Xinyan, whether it be talking about modern rock or jamming out to their favorite songs. Yun Jin is open to anyone and likes hearing about other people’s passions.

Yun Jin is a very good friend to have. She will never compare herself to you and will support you on whatever you decide to do. She’s also very honest, and will help out however she can.

Please Don't be Mad

Please Don't Be Mad

Paring: Dean x sister! reader

Description: The youngest Winchester decides to sneak out without her brothers knowing. However, something happens that she ends up having to call Dean.

Warnings: Slight angst, unwanted sexual attention

☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆☄. *. ⋆

Dean woke up abruptly to his phone ringing. At first he thought it was his imagination and he closes his eyes to re-picture the girl he was having fun with in his dream. However, the wretched sound repeats itself, pounding into his head like a migraine. He felt around on the covers irately looking for his phone. A grumble leaves his lips as he throws his legs over the side of the bed. A soft glow lights up beside his feet and he could feel the vibrations through the floor as the device blares on with that infuriating ring. He picks it off the ground and answers without looking at the Caller ID.

"What do you want?" He asks gruffly.

"Dean," a girl cries from the other end, "please don't be mad."

"(Y/n), what the hell? It's like 1:30 in the morning-"

"Can you please pick me up?"

        "What are you talking about?"

"I left the bunker without you or Sammy's permission."

"Then I'm sure you can manage the problem on your own," he said after a short thought. He was about to hang up out of spite until his sister began to sob on the other end. "Alright," he sighs, "I'm on my way. Where are you?"

---

A smile reaches (y/n) Winchester's face as she looks around at all of the people. Music booms into her skull and neon lights paint the bodies of everyone in the room. The abandoned barn was quite claustrophobic and she had to be careful not to bump into any of the dancing duos.

She will admit, she was nervous to come when the Gothic girl at the gas station told her about it. Mostly, it was because she's never really done anything without her protective brothers right in tow. Of course, She's been to places like this when her brothers wanted to relax, but she has never experienced it by herself.

Although, her stomach continually tightens from the separation, excitement bubbles over that anxiety. She wanders around like a lost puppy, in awe with everything that her eyes cross, and finds herself at the snack bar. She grabs one of the plastic cups and fills it halfway with the red drink presented in the punch bowl.

"Hey there," a boy says, coming up behind her. "Let's dance." His breath reeked of alcohol.

"No thank you," (Y/n) politely says, unwrapping his arms from her waist. She begins to leave until a force knocks her against the table. Her beverage falls to the ground, staining the rotten wood with a deep brown.

"That wasn't a question," the boy sneers into her ear. He begins to grind against her legs, laughing as he sees tears stinging at the edge of her eyes. "It'll be quick," he mumbles, his hot breath leaving goosebumps to run along her neck.

"Leave me alone," (Y/n) yells and swings her fist into his nose. Blood specks around her knuckles and she notices the boy holding his face, red spilling between his fingers.

Anger flares withing his eyes as he looks at her. (Y/n)'s body trembles under his gaze. She bolts towards the entrance, hearing the boy trail behind her as she races through the crowd. "You're dead-" His voice is muffled by the speakers.

(Y/n) struggles to get her phone out as she makes it to the open double doors. She scrolls through her contacts as she races to the side of the barn. She traces along the wooden grey wall, dirt collecting on her finger tip. She decides to hide under a couple of planks propped against the barn and holds the phone to her ear. "Dean, please don't be mad."

---

Headlights glare into (Y/n)'s hiding hole as the Impala pulls up beside the building. The young Winchester scurries out and walks over to the driver's side door. Dean didn't bother looking at her through the rolled down window; he kept his eyes ahead of him with a bored expression.

        "Dean, I-"

        "Just get in the car."

The Impala soon rolls off the dirt path that leads out of the farmland. Dean turns onto the main road and passes a glance at (Y/n).

"Mind telling me why you thought it was a good idea to sneak out?" Dean asks in a serious tone. His sister shrugs in return. "You don't know? Then why the hell did you do it? Do you know how dangerous that is- what if something happens and me or Sammy don't have any idea where you are! Have you thought about that?" Dean raises his voice.

"Why can't you just leave me be," (Y/n) mutters, leaning against her palm and staring out the window.

        "What was that?"

"Why can't you just leave me be." The girl repeats loudly, turning to face her brother.

"Huh, I wonder why? We fight the Supernatural for a living, (Y/n). You know better than to ask that. It's for your safety."

"It's not my fault I was born into this stupid family," She suddenly yells out. The car ride becomes thick with silence and Dean's anger could be felt, pulsating off his body in rapid waves. (Y/n) looks down at her lap in guilt. "I didn't mean that."

        "Sure you didn't."

"It's just that, I never get to experience anything without you or Sammy being protective about it. I wanted to try something without being coaxed out of it."

"Why bother calling then, if you wanted the 'experience'," Dean snaps sarcastically.

        "I was scared..."

"Scared of what?" Dean says with a dry laugh.

"This guy, he tried... he tried to-" a sob wrecks up her throat as she tries to explain the situation that unfolded a few minutes prior. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know what to do and y-you were the first person who I knew would come rescue me." A large hand falls unto her trembling one and traces along her palm in comfort.

"It's OK. you don't have to say anymore," Dean shushes. (Y/n) interlocks her fingers between his calloused ones and holds on tightly.

"I won't do anything without you permission again," she whispers.

"I know," he smiles softly, "and (Y/n)? Your grounded."

POV: You Are Hiding Under Their Desk - Part Two

Zhongli:

The former Geo Archon is a very patient man. After centuries of experience, he knows within himself when to take a break. However, the physical exhaustion of a mortal body was something he was not quite used to yet. His office basked in a warm orange as the sun sets over Liyue, and Zhongli exhales softly through his nose. The pen in his hand scribbles away at the documents left by Hu Tao, but his mind was elsewhere.

Tiredness ached within his joints, and he sets the quill down to flex his fingers. He’s not one to complain; he was grateful for his job at the funeral parlor, and he wasn’t about to draw attention to a measly setback such as this.

As Zhongli gains the motivation to start again, an agonizing pulse shoots through his palm. A hiss escapes through his teeth and the pen clatters to the floor. He barely registers the pull on his pants leg as he gathers himself. His amber orbs trace over the face below him, two (e/c) doe-like eyes watching him with curiosity.

“What are you doing down there, little one?” Zhongli’s voice rumbles as a soft smile graces his features. The child quickly lifts the writing utensil he dropped moments before and giggles.

  “Write!” They exclaim.

“Yes. That is used for writing,” the consultant replies as he lifts the young being onto his lap. Taking an empty copy of paper, he places it on the table in front of the child, who immediately scribbles away at the white sheet. Zhongli couldn’t help but to place his hand on top of theirs, stopping any erratic movement of the pencil. They look at him, their cheeks puffed out in irritation.

“Write!” They announce sternly, making the Archon chuckle.

“Let me teach you how I do it.”

POV: You Are Hiding Under Their Desk - Part Two

Kokomi:

Her Excellency of Watasumi Island is a very busy lady. With all her time spent on finding ways for Sangonomiya to grow, she tends to forget about her own needs. With the villagers finding new ways to cultivate the land; to the daily tasks needed to be sent out to the soldiers; to the duties at the shrine; the lead priestess was tired to say the least.

She knew a few hours with her books would do her some good. She asked General Gorou to keep an eye out while she rejuvenated herself with new tactic plans. She sat contently in her own company, eyes gazing across the words printed on the page. She was truly invested in the plot, theories and questions dancing in her thoughts. The suspense was killing her as the scene unravels, and though she was quite immersed, the sudden laugh from under the table confused her.

Kokomi tilts her chair back to peek beneath the desk, and a relieved sigh retreats from the priestess. “Why, if it isn’t little (Y/n). How did you find this place?” She questions as the child climbs up her legs and into her lap.

“Easy peasy,” They exclaim, “I found your tree!”

“I see,” Kokomi coughs out in response to their boisterous personality, “so you found my reading spot?”

“You can read books?” (Y/n) mumbles, a sudden glumness falling on their face.

  “I can… you cannot?”

“I can, I’m just not very good at it. I bet you’re a pro at reading! You’re good at lots of things, Miss Kokomi!”

“You’d be surprised,” She says with a small smile, “How about this: you read me a chapter, and I read you one.”

“You’re going to read to me?”

“If you read to me. It’s only fair, and besides, how will you get better if you don’t practice?”

POV: You Hold Their Hand

S̲c̲a̲r̲a̲m̲o̲u̲c̲h̲e̲:̲

It takes a lot of strength and order to keep his position as the sixth Fatui Harbinger. Not that he fears of losing his position; he’d love to see someone dare to go against him. When it comes to vulnerability, however; that’s where he strikes out. Since he was created, he quickly learned to only count on himself. Any other emotions besides anger and pride would present him as weak. That’s why he found it rather difficult to interact with the child following closely behind him. They stuck to him like glue, their puny fingers barely grazing along the sleeve of his cloak.

“Can I hold your hand,” the child quietly asks out of the blue. The heels of their shoes click to a sudden stop as Scaramouche turns his fierce gaze at them. He observes their fast-paced breath as they clasp their hands against their chest to ease the trepidation sinking into their heart. They barely looked at him as their (E/C) eyes dash across the ambiguous hallway.

“What makes you think I’d let you do that?” He replies in a snarky tone. The tears that collect in their eyes makes his jaw tighten. He shouldn’t be persuaded so easily by the needs of a child. Nevertheless, the constant alarm that settles on their face is one he knows all too well; the fear of being abandoned.

“Please,” the child hiccups, “I’m scared…”

The Harbinger says nothing in return, but as he extends his arm out, it is clear that he needs this child as much as they need him. He would never admit it though.

POV: You Hold Their Hand

G̲o̲r̲o̲u̲:̲

The general of Watasumi Island is very loyal to its people; much so that he would take away every burden presented to the villagers if he could. Gorou knew the realism of that though, however; he stood proud on what he could accomplish. That’s why he was more than happy to escort the youngest solider of Sangonomiya across the vast land.

A fervent look sets on the Gorou’s face as he calculates how far his destination is and any potential dangers that will lurk in between. He felt more than capable in protecting himself. Though, he wanted to be extra cautious for the child walking closely behind him. What would he do if something were to happen to them?

“Gorou?” They call as they stop in their tracks.

“What is it, young trainee? Is something wrong?” He answers in slight panic.

“I’m alright… Although, I feel you are worried about something. Is it me?”

“It is my job to look after you. Do not stress yourself for my well-being.”

The child hums in response before reaching out to Gorou. “May I hold your hand, General? I do not want to stray from you.”

Unconsciously, Gorou’s eyes shift to the bandage wrapped securely around their face, and his ears flush downward in sorrow. He never wishes for such pain to befall them again.

“Of course, (Y/N). You may hold my hand.”

POV: You Hold Their Hand

  D̲a̲i̲n̲s̲l̲e̲i̲f̲:̲

The old knight of Khaenri'ah did not pursue companionship. After many centuries of living alone, consumed by the thought of ending the Abyss, he gave up on the idea of friends a long time ago. Why prioritize something that will pass by quickly?

Though he was sure of this, his mind betrayed him so as he his gaze kept lingering to the child beside him. A mop of (H/C) bounced as the child tries to keep pace with his stride. Orbs of (E/C) glare at the grass below, a sniffle escaping them.

“You are not very good at hiding your emotions, young one. Do what you may, but you are welcome to confide in me,” Dainsleif announces as he stops.

The child glances up at the man, their body trembling. Dainsleif takes note of their scared posture but says nothing. “I don’t want to…” they whimper.

  “Whatever do you mean, child?”

“I don’t want to be alone,” they inform with a sob, “Please don’t leave me alone…”

Dainsleif freezes, their words striking deeply in him. He never thought much about the predicament this child was forced into. Yes, he knew that the Abyss took them for a reason, experimenting on the poor mortal in hopes of gaining intel. He himself was quite surprised when he found them tucked away in a corner after he infiltrated one of their camps. The Abyss were a nasty bunch; whatever they wanted from this child; they must’ve taken care of anything that stood in their path. This child was truly alone.

Dainsleif sighs out, taking their hand in his. “I never planned on leaving you in the first place. Come, there is work to be done.”
