Watching miraculous ladybug episodes is always a treat. Yeah i realise that the reverse love square is comparable to a tv soap at this point, but who's not a sucker for some good cat noir appreciation? He's finally getting the attention he deserves from her (and i don't mean just romantically). Season 4 really did a number on our boy.

Young Sheldon - 4x01  “Graduation”

A copycat killer has picked out his latest victim. He’s been following this woman for weeks. She’s weak, she has no friends, she has no family, and she lives alone. She also happens to be the sadistic killer he’s been copying

Let me tell you about a miracle that happened to me. So, I was off Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest- basically all my sources of miraculous info. And just like that, on 25th September morning I woke up and installed ig again and came to know that a frickin special episode was being aired that same day! Like, what were the chances?!!

Onto my take on the episode (that no one asked for) (SPOILER ALERT):

- character growth (Mari) - 100%

- CUTE adrienette moments (soooo many)

- Adrien's bodyguard- a precious, precious man

- they had to show so much and yet didn't forget to include kagami, Luka, Lila (that bitch)

- Sabrina and her romantic tryst

- party like a new yorker

- the amazee characters in NY!

- Natalie and her stupid sentimonsters

- Gabriel Agreste has no redeemable qualities

- our favourite teacher is prego (whaaat)

- did I mention cute adrienette

- the ANIMATION , designs and action scenes- simply beautiful

- Ladynoir brotp

- Alya and Nino and their awesome accomplices

- NY superheroes- All of them!

- incorporating all sections of society without making it look as if it was done to fill some quota. The way it was normalised♥️

P.S: I know that this isn't in a particular order, but I just need to put it out there.

Days

Sometimes I feel like I have matured so much, learnt so many new things.

And then there are some days.

Days where all I want to do is curl up and cry.

All I want to do is stop hurting.

Days when I can't figure out how everything could be so messed up.

Days that I feel so alone, that I feel myself wither from inside.

Some days are better than the others.

Some days I get up with a smile on my face.

Some days I don't spontaneously cry.

Some days I like the way I look.

Some days I don't want to give up.

Maybe living with myself isn't all that hard.

Maybe it's those bad days that make the good ones so special.

And just maybe, I figured life out, after all.

little things I love about north and south (2004)

I know we all love the train scene and the “look back at me” scene and john and margaret’s character growth and dozens of other memorable moments but this miniseries has so many wonderful asides I wanted to mention a few:

1. HANDS! HANDS! SO MANY HANDS! the best hands.

because honestly, if there’s one thing this period drama excels at it’s the PINING.

2. those shots of margaret and john sleeping at their desks

3. alll the letters that margaret and edith write to each other.

letter writing was an important aspect of female relationships (among women who could read and write) and I like that their letters are the narrator’s voice.

4. was it normal for men to travel with open collars in 1855? asking for a friend.

5. how margaret is allowed to be tired. 

she’s busy, okay? she’s washing curtains and helping her mother and father and smuggling her brother into the country and attending parties and making friends with union members. girl deserves that nap.

6. thornton’s complete lack of chill whenever margaret shows up

margaret: your mother has kindly given me the name of a doctor. john: you’re ill?!

beeeeee cool soda pop. for the record, for a 19th century hard-nosed manufacturer this face is the equivalent of “GOD PLEASE GOD NO” from michael scott.

7. the soft implication of john keeping his mother and sister in comfort while he pursues education as an adult -

because of the hardship they went through when his father died :(

8. nicholas “number one john/margaret shipper” higgins

thornton: was miss hale the woman who told you to come to me? you might have said. higgins: and you’d have been a bit more civil?

you cheeky bastard.

but let’s not forget “ohhhh yes, she has a brother, he was here, ah, just about that time the mother was dying, ah yes, very secret, hush hush, she had to smuggle him out, just thought you’d like to know for nooooo reason whatsoever” I mean come on nicholas, be more transparent :D

obviously he’s not on board episodes 1-3 what with the whole union strike but boy by episode 4, higgins has two missions - feed boucher’s children and get his OTP together. and he gets both done.

9. on a related note - how all of john’s friends and family are just like “dude, come on. come on. be more obvious. we dare you.”

or, if you’re john’s mother oh god no not this again. “if you would let us alone, perhaps we might see her merits and like her.” damn lady. exactly how much does john talk about margaret hale???

10. this is a sad one but - margaret giving bessy some of her old handkerchiefs and bessy holding one in her dying clasp, my emotions

11. margaret’s absolute exhaustion at men proposing marriage to her.

“oh not this again.”

12. the grudging respect margaret and mrs. thornton develop for each other

“you once accused me of not knowing what kind of man I’d rejected. you were right. but if you think I’ve come to triumph over him, that I do not feel keenly the misfortune of this empty place, then you don’t know me at all.”

also check out how their dresses are almost identical in their last shot together. they’re finally on the same page.

13. the entire framing of john and margaret as hades and persephone, and how margaret chooses to go back north, away from the spring.

she goes from “I believe I’ve seen hell. and it’s white. it’s snow white.” to “I have a business proposition.” persephone chooses “hell” and I love it.

when he is so impressed with her mad gaming skillz

he is so freaking soft for her during this entire scene of riposte

i mean he seems so happy just to see her walking up

when he gets the idea to show mari the surprise he had prepared for ladybug JUST to cheer her up when she was sad (even though he was feeling heartbroken at the time!!!)

when she saves him from the paparazzi. there’s no one i’d rather be hiding in a fountain with than you, marinette, he thinks (probably)

when he is SO EXCITED to see her on TV (when jagged is filming at the bakery in troublemaker)

when she throws a party to celebrate chloe/queen bee even tho chloe is mean to her all the time and he looks so proud and touched

when she kisses him on the cheek at the heroes’ day party

no one should look this soft when their dorky friend gets caught acting like a FOOL pretending to be some dude named “marino” to crash their guys-only party and YET

Isn't it just so heartbreaking when you imagine that probably Adrien and Marinette sat together watching the sunset, talking about the future and she mentioned the hamster and everything in their world was good and pure and perfect.

And now it does not exist.

I don’t feel like being a superhero tonight, And I also don’t feel like being alone tonight.

Marinette: Welp, I’m the guardian now, I’m moving on from Adrien, and now I can finally focus on the boy that has been giving me attention.

Tikki: I’m glad you are moving on. Sure Adrien was sweet and I do think you would have made a good couple. But Luka is someone good for you.
