sometimes you make a piece of art and it goes through an evolution to become something completely different from what you started out with
and sometimes what you start out with is way better than the finished product
for an example, one of my most beloved reaction pictures comes from an already finished deadlock i made a couple of weeks back. like the picture is fine, its whatever.

Please Enjoy! I put a lot of time and energy into how I would draw Drift’s face, I want to draw a lot of other characters, now that my Big desire to draw him has been fulfilled? ;; …Drift (and Deadlock) was just first because he’s my favorite from IDW.
Awhile ago I was working with the concept of cthulhu and I just wanted to do something real cute with him. I ended up giving this guy a big ole pet hermit crab and a real outgoing young lad sorta vibe. I imagine he’d spend his days using a metal detector at the beach or working at the coastal town he lives in
